Ixia was looking in the sky and saw a flash of red. "Did you see that, too? Could it be the Larmbia?" The flash of red landed in a tree, about 15 feet or so up. It was a bird! The bird had many different yet beautiful hues of red, yellow, and orange. The way It flapped its wings was so magestic that not even the most beautiful eagle could compete. It's beak was turned down and pointed like a hawks, only much larger. The tail of the beast was long and had the most color, like a Bird you'd find in the rainforest. "Do you think that is the bird we're looking for?"

"I dont know...But it looks like what i think a Phoenix would look like. So i think its a fair chance its what we're looking for." He said, peering up at the thing and waited for the creature to land.
"If we follow it hopefully it will lead us to its nest. Theres a good chance that well find that gem if we do," he plotted and walked after the gigantic bird suddenly feeling very exited. This could be their ticket out of this place. He couldnt help but smile to himself at the idea of going home. Home. Even the word made his heart ache. Everything inside of him was pulling him towards the bird. He could get it. He would get it. Even if it killed him. He hoped he wouldn't be regretting that thought later.

"Laurent! Be careful!" Ixia shouted. "If that is thr larmbia it will protect the Charrka with its life!" I really hope be doesn't get pecked to death... She thought to herself. With such a thought in her mind she started up the tree after Laurent. "If you need help I'm right behind you!"

"I figured as much...If i need help ill bring you up," he said as the bird landed landed. Laurent coulndt help but smile at the thing. He was going to win this one. Calming himself for a second, he let out a huge huff of air, centering himself. Then, slowly at first, he pushed himself upwards with his powers until he was about a foot above the ground. Chuckling lightly, he looked down at the floor with a big smile. He wasn't even sure if he could use his powers here or not. Ecstatic that he was not earthbound he whizzed up a bit and did a few aerial flips. Everything worked perfectly.

With a deviant smirk Lorry looked up at his target. It was a long way up and a damn long way to fall. Falling wasnt something he did often, but then again he had never have to word off a gigantic fire bird before. Huffing a little at this fact, he looked down at Ixia.

"On second thought...do you want to come up with me?" He asked, chuckling at the fact that she was straddling the tree.

(( Again? I was just getting into it too. ))

Ixia set her feet foward and sprung off the tree. When she landed she crossed her arms across her chest and pouted. "I just though you might have needed some help. But if you're going to laugh at me.." She watched Laurent 'float' toward the bird. I wish that was something I could do... she thought to herself. Ixia Sat on the forest floor and waited for a responce.

Laurent grinned down at her, crossing his arms across his chest and giving her the same pouting look she was sporting to him. He was mocking her ever so nicely.
"Dont get to worked up. Now, do you want me to bring out up with me or not?" he asked now about half way up the tree and climbing. The offer was a limited one.

Ixia pretended to think about it... "Hmmmmm..... Hmmmmmmm...." She laughed silently as he climbed higher and higher. "Oh, I don't know.... But I do know that if that bird see you it will swoop and peck and your head." Curiosity swallowed her as she was wondering whether or not she could run directly up the tree, like a ninja. That would be so sweet... she thought to herself as she daydreamed. Ixia walked about 5 feet away from the tree and sprinted toward it. Maybe I can run up it... Now! Ixia placed her feet onto the tree, trying to run up it, and fell. "Not cool, tree!" Obviously, she did not have that power.

Now that deserved a laugh. Laurent could barely keep himself in the air he was laughing so hard.
"I think ill leave you there then," he chuckled and went up to the nest.

Ixia Stuck her tougue out at Laurent. Why do I always have to be the comic relief?? Ixia thought to herself. Once Laurent went up to the nest, Ixia knew there was going to be trouble and she wasn't usually wrong about that kind of thing. The bird saw Laurent trying to get the jem and Screeched loudly, usuing its defence call. It's beak was open and ready to attack anything that can in between it and the nest. "Uh oh..." Ixia said to herself... Was this sweet renvenge or just horrible, unfortunate timing? "You might want to watch out..." She called up to Laurent.

Laurent just grinned at the bird impishly. This time he wasnt going to be the one out of control. He was concentrated now unlike when he was with the goblins. This he could win.
"Down birdie," He said with a ring in his tone. Holding his hand out in front of him slightly he pinched his pointer finger down onto his thumb. Suddenly, the birds beak closed completely muffling the sound of its defensive squawking. Try as it may the bird just couldnt open its mouth again to bite him. Lorry's smirk widened as he closed the rest of his fist. In less than a second the birds wings were propelled upwards and together, binding them tightly by some unseen force. Then, he lifted his hand upwards, pulling the bird above the nest to give him room to claim his prize.
He couldn't help but chuckle triumphantly as he peeked inside the nest.

Ixia was in shock. She couldn't believe this guy! She wasn't thinking negitavely about him just a bit confused and maybe a little jealous. That's it once I get home, I'm asking my mom about all my powers. she thought to herself. Home... Warm and welcoming home.. "Grab the jem!" Ixia called up to Laurent.

Laurent looked down at her for a moment and nodded. Tentatively at first, he reached down into the nest. Inside were two eggs, each about the same size. The only difference between them was that the one was obviously not an egg and instead a somewhat opaque stone. That must be it, He thought to himself and grabbed the egg quickly. He held it for a second, half expecting the thing to burn him or bite, but none of that happened to his relief. Sighing happily he looked back up at the bird with a grin.
"Thanks mamma. Ill give it back if i can," he said cheerily and patted the mother bird on the head with his spare hand, maintaining his hold on her even without his hand gestures. Then he set the bird back down into the nest and made his decent.

Bio:A quite but passionate person Adam kept to himself at school to ward away any type of aggression away form him...but this dose not work sometimes and he ended up the aggressive person. So as an outlet of his feeling of victimization and anger on a small club at school called "The Bow and Arrow Club" so he is good with bows and arrows. He was walking back to the school after the club meeting and that’s when the earthquake happen...he stared to run but to his own stupidity he fell in to a crack in the earth which could have been avoided but was not by him it seems...

Ixia layed in the grass thinking about how laurent made it look so easy when a young boy came walking past. "Uhh.. Laurent, I don't think we're alone here.." The boy seemed young, with red-ish hair. He could of easily been mistaken for a native but Ixia has seen him somewhere before. Or maybe he just had that face where people think they've seen him before...

Laurent turned to face the boy now that he was firmly planted on the ground. Looking the boy over warily, he took a step or two back for good measure, not trusting him quite yet. He stopped as he noticed his odd hair color and eyes. Then he looked down at the stone of similar color and then back at him. Suddenly, he got a bit angry.
"WHY IS EVERYTHING ON THIS ISLAND RED!?" He yelled.

He looked up at the huge tree with the nest on it. "What the..." he sied as he saw a man subdue the big firey bird and take an egg. "Wait...what are they doing?" He asked beinging to aim at the guy beliveing he was doing something bad and then he landed and stared yelling about the eveything begin red "Hey! what you say about being red?" he sied still aiming at him

Ixia sneered at the two boys. This is going to be so sweet... She thought to herself. I just really hope no one gets hurt because then I'd feel bad... The arrows didn't worry her as much as she thought they would.

Laurent smirked at the boy, not feeling like answering his question. Slowly he outstretched his hand and snapped the arrow in half.
"No shooting buddy boy. We have enough to worry about in this place so lets not try to kill each other mk?" He said defiantly.

Adam looked at him with anger. "Yah but it mite be more helpful that you dont brake my arrows!" he said waveing aroned his bow at him

"Then dont point them at me," he said with a grin, "I have a right to defend myself now dont i?"

Adam sneered at him "yah yah i was pointing at you becuse you have stolen something form that bird" he said

Ixia couldn't help but laugh at the two. They were bikering like they were siblings! "Guys, Cool your jets. Laurent apologise to Adam, Adam apologise to Laurent." She wasn't sure why she wanted them to apologise but she said it anyway.

"To get home," he pointed out, "This is our ticket out of this hell hole. And i told mamma bird ill try to get it back. ."
