Alexia trembled when the man approached them, but was shocked when Railey tried to defend her. What was it with boys always risking their lives for girls? Her stubbornness kicked in as she watched Railey get tossed. She was scared and she knew she was no match for this guy, but what good would it do to run? He'd eventually catch up with her.

The man then grabbed her and she was too afraid to try to free herself. His touch was cold and she was scared. What if he was going to freeze her to death? Then there were sirens and he let go. She collapsed onto her knees and watched him as he left.

[[I wanna hug him too, but I dunno if he likes me. xD]]
Railey looked around, finally regaining his senses. What had happened? Where did the hooded guy go, or better yet, where did he even come from? Shaking his head once more, the man stood and walked to Alexia. He bent over to see if she was alright, also spotting the little vial.

"Are you alright, Alexia? And... what is that?" He asked as he lent her his hand after picking up the vial.

dianakitsune 09-10-2009 04:31 PM

"I'm fine I think," She said taking his hand. "I don't know," She said staring at the vial. She hadn't seen it land before and then something flashed in her mind. Something on TV earlier today. She couldn't seem to remember though for some reason. She really should've paid more attention.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-10-2009 04:37 PM

Cocking a brow. Railey looked at it, but refused to open it.

"Let's go into the coffee shop and see if anyone there knows anything about this stuff." He paused and laughed a bit. "Sides, I still want my damned coffee."

He helped her up and brushed off his feathery jacket.

dianakitsune 09-10-2009 06:27 PM

"Alright," Alexia said following him more closely than before. She used to think that things like that would never happen to her, but there she was, just a few moments from death. She sighed in relief that the police were there at that moment and hoped to never see that man ever again.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-10-2009 07:17 PM

Railey ordered his coffee and looked around for some of the usuals that came to that shop. Sitting down in one of the back corners, he removed the vial, looking more closely at it. Holding it up to the light, Rai shrugged and sighed.

"There's no telling what this is. Oh.. and Alexia.. if there is anything you want, let me know. I will buy something for you... no need spending any of your money now." He teased.

The Jupiter Alien 09-10-2009 08:02 PM

"Finally! And I have a na-", she started to say while walking in a random direction, but was cut off in surprise when Derrick picked her up. She was going to point a finger in his face, but they had already started moving - and fast. This is like...it's like...nymphs on speed or something. Oh well. She'd wait until they stopped running, but by then, she'd probably just forget.

((Ahahaha, such a bad pun. Get it? They're running, and she's comparing it to the drug Speed...yeah. I dunno. -.-))

dianakitsune 09-10-2009 09:27 PM

Alexia followed Railey and sat down on the opposite die of him. "oh I'm fine," Alexia smiled. If she drank coffee now, she would be up all night. She looked at the vial trying to remember why it looked familiar. Why was her memory failing now? She looked up toward the LCD screen and sighed. Maybe she'd remember eventually, but she had a bad felling about whatever was in that vile.

Cows Go Moo 09-10-2009 10:55 PM

"Fates-cryptic blond lady, whatever," Ace/Hermes said with a shrug. He heard sirens in the distance, causing him to chew on his lower lip. Artemis was right. Being this close to a murder scene would not be good. But where to go? That was the big question. The Fates had told him to gather up all the other awakened and sleeping gods and goddesses, but how was he supposed to do that? It wasn't like he had some special GGPS (Global God Positioning System) to find everyone. Even if it was in his nature to travel and such he didn't find the idea of searching the corners of the globe all that fun (plus the expenses!). The first place he could think to look was the coffee shop nearby, though partly because he thought he would need the caffeine. So he broke into a sprint, although slightly worried that the other two wouldn't be able to keep up. He was like the Flash now, only without the red hair.

((Sorry for my lack in responses everyone, just been doing other things and my Menewsha time has been limited by it))

Ares looked to Aphrodite as he held her in his arms, he saw the tears well in her eyes and it struck his heart deeply. He felt angry for their lust and love for each other caused so much pain for both of them, it was forbidden, but they still had their moment together forever frozen in time. Ares brought his mind back to the present before helping her stand up. Whatever they had, whatever was there, he had to fight it and keep it at arms length. He said nothing however, even as dimwitted as he was... he couldn't believe that they would be in the same city and awaken in the same moments... the fates were playing a very cruel joke on him, or perhaps the world was coming to an end. It mattered little, what only mattered was war was coming and blood was in the air.

He ended his weeping as he calmed himself, hearing the screams from the river styx was near maddening. But their caretaker was back now, and it would take time to set things aright. His hand gripped her wrist and a looked at her with a fire within his eyes. He had changed... Gerald was only a mortal man. "It's Hades now..." He stood up slowly but powerfully, and if only for an instant he was twice the height of the old man, a powerful being beyond reckoning. "There is much I need to do..." He looked at the empty vial that he had drank from. "One of which... is to find out who's making this..."

Wind von Reukaughv 09-11-2009 03:09 PM

He nodded, setting the vial in the center of the table. Railey slid Alexia a piece of gum as he began to chew his own piece. Setting, his gloved hands upon the table, the man sighed and looked around. Nothing really stood out today, though it was odd for him to have company of his own here.

Lacking things to talk about, Railey looked back to Alexia. "Umm.. So.. Where do you live and what do you do?"

Kriddles 09-11-2009 03:40 PM

A soft breeze caressed Alexia and Railey. The soft touch of fingers dragged along Railey's neck as a whisper echoed in Alexia's ear, before the small vial rolled towards them again. The Milky liquid shimmered as the liquid moved to and fro in the vial.

Derrick tried to keep up with Ace to the best of his abilities while Chiara held onto his neck. The moon pulsed against his skin, the skin of a hunter. A hunt... A hunt for the others. Passing by an alley he stopped, his eyes closed as he inhaled that similar sweet aroma from Ambrosia that was on someone's breath. His eyes opened the pupils widening as he turned to face a couple in the alley. It was the thug from the cafe and the woman whom everyone had been attracted to. But their auras were so strong that it was impossible to pass up. "Ares.... Aphrodite... Caught again in an act of passion? What would your husband think?" The words didn't feel like his own, no they were the Goddess's that writhed inside him now, those of judgement. "We are headed towards the Coffee Shop. Hermes believes there are others there. Follow if you wish, and keep in mind that Helios will soon look down upon you." He said, before tightening his hold on Chiara and continuing to follow Ace.

Emily's eyes widened from the shock of the sudden aggression that Gerald had shown, before they narrowed as she jerked her wrist back towards her chest. "Hades...?" There it was again, that deja' vu that she had as she said the name. She shook her head, "That drug has messed with your head, Gerald. You need a doctor. Come on..." She said as she tried to take his arm like she used to when he appeared older.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-11-2009 05:13 PM

Railey nearly jumped out of his seat and shivered as the chill reached his neck.

"YIKES!!" he cried as he gulped down all of his coffee. "That was just too damned cold! Did you feel that Alexia?"

He cocked his head to the side, slightly curious, because there were no signs of a window or door being opened.

dianakitsune 09-11-2009 05:15 PM

Alexia froze as something whispered in her ear. She hadn't heard Railey's exclamation or question and her eyes locked onto the vile of liquid lying on the table. The bad feeling she had soon drifted. She had the sudden urge to pick up the vile and drink whatever was in it. However, this thought scared her, yet her hand reached out for it as if it was a natural instinct.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-11-2009 05:31 PM

Railey looked down and gasped as Alexia was reaching for the vial, almost as if she was possessed.

"NO DON'T!!" He said, sitting back down.

He slammed his fists on the table, knocking the vial to the side. His eyes glistened in the pale lighting of the shop.

"Please... we don't know what this is."

dianakitsune 09-11-2009 06:01 PM

Alexia jumped in surprise and watched as the vile rolled around. She breathed in relief that it didn't break. "But you felt that too didn't you?" She asked staring at him and looking back at the vile, "I think you're suppose to drink it, but there's only one..." She wondered if it was possible to split the small amount of liquid in it. Would it still work? What was it even supposed to do? She wasn't sure, but it was as if it was calling out to her.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-11-2009 06:11 PM

He got angry adn slammed his fist on the table again.

"What if this is that drug that is so damned popular?" He shouted.

Many of the other customers looked at him. Looking back at them Railey sat down and tucked the vial back into his pocket.

"We will have to be more careful with this... " He said, annoyed.

Kriddles 09-11-2009 06:15 PM

((On a note: If you only take half of the Ambrosia, it won't work. Half doesn't make you go into that coma-like state which you need to fall into to come in contact with the Fates full on. Also, once you taste the liquid, it is near impossible to stop taking it because it feels and tastes so amazing. Pure Joy/ecstacy comes over you along with a warmth that your body yearns for. Only one can take it, the other has to search out another vial.))

dianakitsune 09-11-2009 06:26 PM

"I don't think so," Alexia said a little nervous. She was also a little upset that he stuffed the vile in his pocket. If he didn't want it then why couldn't she have it? She folded her arms and ignored the stick of gum on the table. Maybe he just upset because there was only one vile and he secretly wanted it. She'd just have to find her own. How hard could that be? If it was the product on TV then she'd just have to buy it, of course, she probably didn't have the money for that. So it seemed she was stuck at the moment.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-11-2009 06:40 PM

[[okies thank yous, so we will have to dish out what happens to this one, since my idiot thug thinks it's bad]]

Knitted Doll 09-11-2009 10:23 PM

Railey's outburst had drawn Honey's attention (along with half of the rest of the cafe); she watched them from behind the paper, unable to help her curiosity. There was an odd feeling about them deep in her belly, as if she knew them from somewhere - but then again, she had probably just seen them somewhere before. That drug that is so damned popular? She shrugged mentally, glancing back down at the paper before her eyes were drawn magnetically back to them - she couldn't help inventing an exotic past for them. He was... secretly the dispossessed prince of some eastern european country, come over here to seek the priceless jewel that would allow him to reattain his princehood and his state, and she was, um, a CIA agent assigned as his bodyguard, who was secretly in love with him but held back by her professional standards, and could only watch hopelessly as he played at slumming it and being a playboy.
Obviously.

Kriddles 09-11-2009 11:02 PM

The LCD screen blipped on, a news anchor woman who looked horribly stressed, tapped some papers to straighten them up as she slowly looked up to the camera. "We... We have some grave news." She slowly said. Emergancy vehicles zipped past the coffee house, their sirens wailing their cries. "Reports are coming in, announcing several deaths happening all over the city. And they just keep coming..." She pinched the bridge of her nose as she tried to keep from crying on television. "... Police have been trying to learn the cause of death, however, all evidence points to new drug on the market."

Several images popped up on screen showing censored corpses. "Riots have been started over these drugs, concerning the police from further investigation... And it is uncertain as to whether or not these deaths are related to the Boatman Murders." She paused for a long period of time, staring blankly at the papers on the desk. One teardrop fell to the papers, before she looked back up at the camera. "Can we go to commercial?" her voice was weak. "I want to give my husband a call..." She stood up from her desk, and started walking off before the screen went back to the re-runs of commercials.

The Jupiter Alien 09-11-2009 11:03 PM

Chiara clung even tighter as Artemis did his best to keep up with Hermes. They paused momentarily, and interrupted an embrace between Ares and Aphrodite. She blushes and looked away, as if to give the Gods their privacy. Though she knew of Aphrodite's marriage with Hephaestus, her love or whatever kinship she had was of her own choosing, contrary to what Artemis' opinion was. As they neared the coffee house, she wiggled in his arms, and finally he let her go.

Karen was lost. It seemed she'd been roaming the streets for hours, no sign of anyone or anything, and her paranoia and fear was kicking in majorly. Even when a breeze passed, she'd jump in fright, and saw it as a bad omen. She almost wished she hadn't left the forest, but she needed her sister. Chiara's strength, her courage, her ability to be her own and stand outside the box, Karen missed it all too much.

Divine Seduction 09-12-2009 02:56 AM

Aphrodite slowly backed away from Ares as he helped her to stand. She felt the pull, but just as he did, she rejected it. It hurt so much... But she couldn't bring herself to say the words hovering on her tongue. The love they'd had, was not what was going on now...

"It's coming, the end is near... And we need to gather every God and Goddess, you've heard it as well as I Ares, we must stop this destruction... Even if you are the God of War and Destruction, you've never destroyed the world... It would be pointless if you wanted to continue on your rampages..." she said slowly, rubbing her throat a bit as she looked away, it was too much to be this close to him, to know they couldn't be together, but to want it bad enough to throw everything away once again.

She shook her head and closed her eyes looking away staunchly... Hoping that it would give her some semblence of peace.

Wind von Reukaughv 09-12-2009 01:24 PM

Railey sighed and pulled the vial back out, looking at it more closely. His eyes softened as he remember the cool touch at the back of his neck. It invigorated him more and more as the male remembered it much cleared each time. Everything around him seemed hazy as he placed his fingertips on the cork that kept the liquid inside.

His piercing deep ocean blue eyes seemed to swirl like waves in his trance, as he was about to pull the cork.
