Jay's eyes flicked out he door of the kitchen, at Rae. He flashed him a smile and went back to baking. He is so hot, and he wants to go out with me! Coming here was the best idea... he thought whilst moulding the cake into the shape of a treasure chest. He was making a cake for a youngster's birthday. Obviously a rich youngster. He didn't know how people afforded these cakes, but they were definately worth it. Wait, I'm going out.... with a Guy. This is crazy. At least I'm learning more about myself now.. he thought and sighed, though he couldn't help smiling to himself feeling elated. He kept moulding the cake while thinking of ideas of the next cake that was ordered.

((O_O Oh Bugger! I'm sorry! My computer has been acting weird all day.... My college requires that you install this stupid antivirus stuff that messes with your computer. If you have ANY pirated materials it will actually go through and delete it! Fortunately when I got my Mac I spent an additional $3,000+ for the software that I'd need for my graphic deisgn/Web design classes))

((They're not bad. The teachers are a bit out there..... >_< My one professor is 37 but when I first laid eyes on her I thought she was a 17 year old sitting in on a class to see if she wanted to go to my college! I was so shocked when I found out she was our professor! XD))

Rae could feel Jay looking at him. A small smile curled along the sides of his lips as he kicked his feet harder ad faster. Oh wow, he's looking at me again. Perhaps he really is interested in me? Right now, Cael didn't have other things for me to bake, so perhaps I could just go over there and ask him if he needs help. But, if I go there now, wouldn't he think I'm clingy? I'll just wait. Yeah, that's it. He blushed at his own thoughts, looking down at his feet shyly. I know I'm bisexual, but this bakery's filled with good looking men. Even a straight guy could turn bisexual here. He giggled, putting his hand over his mouth as he tried to stop himself from doing so.

((FYI The black suit, deep crimson shirt, and white tie is going to be my fiancee's suit when we get married! Our wedding is very crimson and white themed. My bouquet is going to be white lilies and red roses....^_^))
Rakuen sighed, "As much as I'd like to stay up here and hang out.... I really need to get back to work." "Me too I have another class to teach. This should be interesting....." "Why do you say that?" "Its all people in our age range." "Yeah.... Good luck with that." "Gee thanks...." Rakuen made his way downstairs and headed straight for the kitchen. Kiyoshi decided to order some treats for his class.... He looked at various items on display. |
Jay saw Rae in the bakery stop himself from giggling because of his smile, and grinned to himself. He must like me, no? No men have ever taken to me this way he thought ..maybe that's because I haven't been looking. Jay was decorating the chest shaped cake with different coloured icing: brown, dark brown, gold and ruby, sapphire and emerald colours for the treasure that flowed out of the chest. He looked up hearing Rakuen and Kiyoshi coming downstairs and into the bakery. He nodded to Rakuen in welcome as he approached the kitchen. He always remembered his manners, and he wanted to be polite to the other workers in hope to get to know them. He was thrilled to have found a group of such people, but he wanted to get closer to them.

Rae noticed Rakuen and Kiyoshi standing rather close in the surroundings of Jay. For an odd reason, he lowered himself from the work spot, walking over to Jay as he rested a hand on his shoulder. "Hey guys. Jay, nice cake you're making. Who is it for? Looks sweet!" I want you to talk to me, so just ignore the others...

Jay felt a hand touch his shoulder and looked up as Rae spoke. He's touching me.. he thought, slightly shocked but pleased. "Hey" he greated and then went on to tell Rae "Thanks, it's for a boy's birthday party" he smiled. He was adding the 'jewellery' and 'treasure' to the outsides of the chest and painting on the details of icing with a paintbrush. He was painting the lock of the chest as he glanced up "Have you got any cakes to make?" he asked conversationaly.

Rakuen looked over a Jay's work and smirked, "Not bad.... Not bad at all..... How long have you been baking?"

"Umm just a few years really, before that I was studying architecture, but the business wasn't picking up.. and then I found baking" he grinned, answering Rakuen. "How about you?" Jay asked back, whilst putting the finishing touches onto the cake. He wiped his hands on a cloth and pushed his golden hair back with his fingers to see more clearly. He then picked up the cake with ease, his muscles tensing beneath his rolled up shirt sleeves, carrying it over to the otherside of the kitchen for delivery.

Rakuen got started on making a cake of his own. It was going to be a chess board. The base of it was easy enough but the pieces were going to be a pain....
"Since I was six. My mother taught me," he smiled, "And everytime we'd bake we'd practically dance round to my father's piano and my brother's violin.... I miss those days...." |
"That sounds nice" Jay said with a smile in Rakuen's direction. He glanced back at Rae and then wiped down the surface he had just been working on with a wet cloth. "You and your brother seem pretty close" he commented, talking to Rakuen. Jay wiped the surface dry and got out some trays for muffins. It seemed there wasn't many muffins behind the counter at the moment, so he was going to stock up.

Rakuen chuckled, "Yeah we didn't always used to be..... Its kind of annoying when you look so much alike that even your own parents can't tell you apart Or if you babysit your little cousin and he runs away screaming because your brother told him that you stole his face....."
Rakuen got to work icing the base of the cake. |
"No... Don't quite have anything to do right now." Rae's eyes flashed between Rakuen and Jay, pouting slightly. Maybe I shouldn't interfere. "I'm gonna check the windows." He turned around, shuffling to the front of the store as he ran his fingers along the windows. He went outside, observing the pastry and cakes that had been made today. Eventhough I only made little things, they sure do contribute to the bigger cakes. Too bad I hate making those, really.

Penelope walked into the shop and said,"HI guys, is Kial here i really need to talk to him." She then looked at them and they did not know her at all. "Oh sorry i am Penny." She smiled at them and sat on a stool.

Rakuen waited for a reply as he began working on the fondant for the chess pieces. Kiyoshi was next door playing his violin, which could easily be heard through the wall. He was playing a haunting piece. |
"Uhh hello." She waved in the kitchen again making sure they could see her. Hmmm why wont they answer. She waved at them again and then she saw a guy turn to her. But he was looking at someone else.

Before Rae spoke Jay replied "Sounds fun to me" with a smile at Rakuen. He was just putting the muffins in the oven to rise when he caught a glimpse of the girl that had been quite a frequent customer to the bakery. He walked out into the bakery as he noticed Cael wasn't in there. Standing behind the counter he grinned and asked "What would you like?".

"Um can i have a cupcake?" She smiled at the man standing at the counter and waited to see if they had one. "Um do you know where Cael is? I wanted to talk to him about something."

Hearing Cael's name, Jay looked around reflexively. "Uhh. I don't know, I think he went to clean up.. or he's gone upstairs". He retrieved a plate of cupcakes from the far side of the counter, near the window and put them infront of the girl. "Take your pick" with a smile.

She took the yellow one with the smiley face on it. "Thanks uh i am Penny and you are?"
