i guess i'll start.

Aurora started to walk towards the school that would now be her home. "I wonder if i'll meet anyone here..." she whispered to herself. Aurora glanced down at her map, holding it in one hand, both weighted down with luggage. "so... there's a main building, dorms, a library, a mall, and a few parks. No wonder they have a map." She looked up at the big, new building, muttering to herself. "The schedule said i should check in, go to my dorm and get settled in, and then meet people on either side of me." I don't know if I want to do that...

She jumped suddenly, hearing a twig snap behind her. Whipping her blond hair around, she saw that it was another person attending. *gulp* Ok, I've gotta meet people here, so........ here goes.
Walking back a few steps, she went to stand by the boy looking at his schedule as well. "Uh.... hi!" she tried to sound confident, and squeaked in the middle of the word.

Great. Opposite of confident.

She cleared her throat, and waited for a reply.
