Aya looked around the club from her seat, observing everyone who was dancing. She usually didn't get to dance... and wasn't planning on doing so. It was just nice to somewhat relax in the atmosphere away from her desk and computer. "I'd like something to eat... but it can't be seafood. Allergies."
Sticks his tongue out playfully as he trots over to Aya and wags his tail while fanning himself slowly. "Humm ... you could get Leon to make you something and come dance with me while you wait ... we will just have to keep the dancing civil ..." :3
"I could always make Steak, with steak sauce, green beans on the side.. "He said writing down food equations down in a notepad. "mashed potatoes with gravy, roast beef and..." He said lost in his cooking world.
"Hmmm.....I could go for a really nice bison burger with onion rings. That's something I haven't had in a while." She licked her lips then changed the music to something a bit easier to dance to.
Abel traipsed into the club, lamenting on his long absence and constant disappearing acts. Feeling unsure of himself, he eased into the doorway and edged to a far wall, deciding to remain unobtrusive and just watch the others interact. His daggers were held loosely, the tassels limply hanging from the hilts.
"No matter how quiet you are you should know that you would be picked up by scent along moments after entering, it is a room full of kitsune after all." :3
"He is right after all. though awkwardly enough, i can smell Italian food from the other side of the street." And chuckled.
"Don't forget there's also one who's wolf here as well Gary." She glares over at him and gets tired of waiting for food. "I think I'll play something I want to dance to." She thinks as she changes the track to Daft Punk. Heading onto the dance floor she lets the beat carry her away.
"Oh my god!" He said running out of the kitchen and placed the plate carrying bison burger with onion rings. He poured a glass of Creme De Menthe, placing them both on the bar counter, he then ran off to Wulfwynn and said, "Well, now that the music got my ear again, want to dance miss?" and swung his tail left and right in delight.
Watches Leon re-appear from the kitchen with her food then watches as he runs over to her. "The food does need to cool down for a bit. Let us dance to this song." She grins showing off her sharp canines.
"No need, i've been cooling off for the longest." And winked as he moved his body to the music, His body moving like a robot, every time the voice played, and while the music played instead of the voice, he pop and locked it. "Truth be told, i have no idea what i'm doing hon." And laughed. His body moving on its own occur The robot dance no longer a dance, but a moving human. His arms moving like wave,s his head bobbing to the beat.
She dropped, popped and danced to the music, her body always moving to the beat. No real "style" to it. Panting as the song ends she walks over and puts on a slower song before sliding up to the bar where her food waits.
Leon smiled as the song came to a hault. "Maybe we could play Here It Goes Again, by Ok Go? I really want to dance with you some more", and wagged his tail.
As the first song finishes Here It Goes again begins to play. Her tail twitches in time with the music but she's busy eating her burger and will perhaps dance afterward.
Abel had kept general silence through most of the hubbub, and still remained silent now. He knew the others realized he was there, but was not very outspoken regardless. A dark, gradated sash draped around his body now, a part of a very lovely fan which he'd just bought and was enjoying.
Finishes her burger and notices the gentleman is still standing in the shadows. She eyes him and decides to go over and introduce herself. As she walks across the dance floor toward him her boots click softly. Giving him a wolfish grin she says "Hello, the name's Wulfwynn. Who might you be?"
Feeling less obtrusive, Abel stepped forward, his vibrant blue eyes starkly contrasting with long orange hair.
"Hello," he responded uncertainly despite himself. "I'm...Abel. It's nice to meet you, Miss Wulfwynn. I really dont' spend as much time in here as I'd like, so I'm afraid I'm not as familiar with you all as I should be..." He sighed. Perhaps he was talking too much, a bad habit he had whenever he was nervous. His ears, had they not been flattened beneath his hat, would probably be laid back against his head. |
Sensing his unease she clasped her hands behind her back and smiled warmly. "It's nice to meet you Abel. I think I've seen you around here before but haden't gotten the chance to speak with you." Her tail swayed back and forth gently as her ears were perked up. "Hopefully you're not too put off by the fact I'm part wolf instead of part fox."At this she blushed quickly and moved a stray strand of black hair back behind her ear. The blush bringing out the color of her red eyes.
"Not at all, I'm very happy to see anyone of any species, not to mention talk to them," Abel replied warmly, not wanting Wulfwynn to think him rude. His own white-tipped bushy tail swayed back and forth in slow, graceful arcs as he spoke with her, unbidden by him to move but moving nonetheless.
"Besides," he added, "appreciation of beauty is not limited to my race." |
"It's good to see there are those out there who can look past race." She smiles warmly as she enjoys talking to someone new. "Why are you standing here in the shadows instead of joining everyone?" She tilts her head to the side, eyes bright.
Once again, the diminutive creature found herself wandering near this establishment. Her mismatched eyes glanced up to read the sign, her delicate lips moving to mouth the words. She blinked as she appraised it, and when her eyes opened it seemed as if the colors had switched.
She stared at the door for a few moments, as if waiting for it to open. The staring contest continued for a few moments until she blinked again, switching the color of her eyes yet again. Reaching out with a petite hand, she opens the door and enters, seemingly intruding upon a conversation about species. "I suppose then," she announces, barging into the conversation. "I'm welcome?" The last time she had visited, there had been a rather unusual number of vixen in the building. Although considering the name, she shouldn't have been so surprised. |
"Heh, well about that...I know it seems rather unsociable to stand in the shadows, but I honestly don't want to intrude on anyone's business," Abel answered honestly. He yawned softly, putting a hand to his mouth. "And it appears that I've overstayed my time here, it's getting rather late--"
As he was about to extend his farewell, another entered the club, and he was thoroughly amused with her forward nature, as opposed to insulted as some might be. "Why yes, ma'am, you are very welcome. I was just about to take my leave, I've got a lot to do tomorrow," he said politely. "Perhaps you can keep Miss Wulf occupied." He hoped this name was acceptable, and looked apologetically at Wulfwynn. "It was nice talking to you," he said. "Perhaps I will see you again sometime." |
"Well, feel free anytime you stop by to come chat with me. And have no fears about interrupting anything." She laughed warmly. Her ear twitching at the noise she turned as she watched the door open and Dystopia walk in. Smirking at what she had to say Wulfwynn turned to Abel. "Please, just call me Wulf and have a good night." She bowed slightly at the waist and turned to face Dystopia. "Long time no see stranger."She smiled as her tail swishes softly.
Dystopia slides herself into the seat that had been occupied by the departing male, swinging her thin legs. Although she wasn't exactly child-like in proportions, she was considerably shorter than the former occupant of her seat had been and could not touch the ground with her feet while seated. She wiggles about in the seat to, turn her head vaguely toward the departing fox to send him off with a few wild waves from her riding crop.
She turns again and tilts her head at the familiar figure, who was now brandishing a weapon much larger than her own. She points haphazardly over Wulf's shoulder, prodding a wing gently with her riding crop. "That wasn't there before, was it?" she asks, curious. |
Wulf giggles as Dystopia prods one of the wings on her back. "No, they weren't. Those are a gift from a friend of mine." Her eyes flash a cheery red as she slides the scythe into a holder on her back. "Don't mind the scythe either. I was on my way in here and saw it in a window and just had to have it."
