Thomas laughed and hugged Angel when she walked in. Grabbing her by her waist he swung her around and she kissed him as she looked down at him happily. She felt the happiest she had in a long time. After Thomas set her down Shade walked in, no shirt, and wet hair. "Thanks for letting me use the shower thomas." he said his british accent reaching Angel's ears. She looked at him her unaturaly bright blue eyes glowin with happiness. She ran to him and hugged him happily. "Shade! Its been so long! Ho are you?" she asked looking at him an arms length away. "Better now that you're awake." he said kindly and kissed the top of her head gently. "Have you gotten your powers yet?" he asked turning to Thomas as well. "Powers?" she said confused and looked at him. "Yes. You all are second generation gods... As am I. But I recieved my powers a week ago. And my fther, Hades, said it was only a matter of time you get yours too." shade said gently and Thomas looked at him surprised. "Actually I haven't but my father, Zeus, said that it wouls happen to. But my mother would give me the change." thomas said and Angel looked at him confused. "Your mother?" she asked and took his hand. "Im the only one who had two gods as parents, Artemis is my mother." he said and she looked at him shocked. "That's why Destruction wants you and I so bad.... He's a second generation god two... His parents are Ares and Athena.... He knows you have the most power..." she said horrified and both Thomas and Shade looked at her horrified. "If he knows than that means he knows-" shade began and Angel nodded grimly. "He knows our blood brings ultimate power..."

"hey guys. What are you talking about?" Then they told her. "Wow. I woneder if tomas and I are second generasion gods also? Because I think if we were we would know and would tell each other." That night Elizabeth looked in all the books in Angels and her libary for some information to see if they were second generation gods.

Angel went to bed as Thomas had decided to walk threw the forest. She had been too tiredto go with him. As Thomas walked he tripped over a tree root and fell into a crystal clear pool he hadn't notcied there before. He gasped as he fell in. There was an invisable force that pulled him under and he thrashed madly trying to swim back to the serface. But he was dragged down even farther by his leg that was being held by the invisable force. Finally he let out his breath and the water bursted into a bright teal light. Thomas shielded his eyes and passed out in the water. He woke to find himself laying on the bank of the lake. He sat up and looked at his hands that glowed with white power. Realizing what had happened he got up and ran home and the lake dissappeared. When he got home he woke Angel and told her what had happened. She hugged him happily tears streaking her cheeks because behind her happiness she knew it ment it was only a matter of time before Destruction found out and would come to kill them all. But Thimas banished her fears by kissing her lovingly making her smile. She wrapped her arms around his neck and he fell onto the bed.

When ELizabeth woke up the next morning she found a rose next to her pillow, and she picked it up and she felt like somthing drain out of her. She walked dowwn stairs and saw a note it was from Hayden. It said that he and Jr. whent to the football feild and then they were going to go and stay the night with his parents to give Elizabeth a day off and to just relax. So Elizabeth went to the spa in the city and had a wonderful time. Whent Hayden and Jr. got home the next day Elizabeth was very happy to see them again. "Elizabeth I am not leaving you for a long time." and he kissed her. "Mommy you changed." What?" ELizabeth walked to a merior and say that she had changed. Her hair was more blond, her eyes were a very bright blue, and her skin was more a of a natural color rather then her pail whit skin. "Hayden I think I lost my imortality. Which that means that I am a second generation god. And that I am going to get my powers." "Mommy you are a second generation god? Does that mean I am one to?" "I don't know. I think it depenes on what goddess i am." "I think you are the second geniration Aphrodite because you are so beautiful." Hayden said looking at her in her all black dress, and for the first tie she blushed a very dark red. "Then who are you?" "I don't know. Maybe Jr. is Eros, or Cupid, because he is the son of Aphrodite." "But Hayden it depends on what god you are. You would have to be Ares then because Aphrodite and Ares had Eros, either Ares or Hermes." "I don't care because I am married to you now." "Oh mommy and daddy don't go all mushy and uky on me. grose."

Angel woke to find herself in Thomas's arms. She sighed happily and knowing he would sleep for a long time headed downstairs. It was hard for Thomas to get used to waking up when the sun comes up. Because as a werewolf he would stay up all night, sleep until 1:00 and eat then go and do it again. Angel sighed and walked downstairs forgetting Shade was in her house. So she was wearing nothing but Thomas's shirt. As she walked around the corner she smaked into Shade. He caught her and looked at her surprised. He let her go and looked her up and down. "Oh, Shade, how did you sleep last night?" she asked and he smiled. "Wonderfully," he said kindly and flashed her a smile. His eyes looked her upand down hungerily and he could feel his instincts stronger than ever. "oh, good. I hoped so. I'm so glade you're hear." she said and he nodded. "So am I." He couldn't fight the feeling anymore and grabbed Angel and pulled her into a kiss slamming her against the wall. She gasped and darkness began to fill the room. "Its just you and me.... Nothing else matters... Angel, trust the darkness in your heart..." he whispered in her ear. He took hold of the darkness inher heart and channeled it towards him. Angel kissed him back dangeriously and he smiled knowing he had full control. His hands found her bare back and she pressed herself to him. "Take me down hard...." she whispered in his ear and he smiled cruely. "gladely." |
"Hayden I am going to go get a new dress. All my other ones are not right anymore." "what? I think they are fine." Hayden said smiling devishaly. "You know what I mean. I think I will get a black one. I miss wearing them" then she left to go to the mall. When she got back there was a note and a golden belt. It said Here Elizabeth I thought it would go with your new black dress. Hayden.
Elizabeh took the belt up stars and tried on the dress with the belt. As soon as she looked in the merrior she started to glow. She realized she was finaly the second generation Aphrodite. Then she fanted onto the bed. |
Angel blinked and found herself with Shade. Shocked at what was happening she tried squirming free but he was too strong. He grolwed and pulled her closer to him. Angel pulled away and he smiled cruely. "Playing a game are we?" he asked and she tried to bolt for the stairs but he grabbed her and threw her on the ground. "Shade stop it!" she said angerily and his kissed her. Thomas walked down the stairs and was surprised to see the pitch black darkness that swirled like a living thing at the bottom of the stairs. Thomas herd Angel's pleas and lightning exploaded from his hand. The darkness parted and he saw that he had struck Shade in the chest. Angel looked at Thomas horrified and then leaned over Shade. The possesed look left his eyes and he blinked looking up at her confused. "What happened I-" but he couldn't finish as another bolt hit him sending him flying into a wall and sent Angel flying in the opposite direction. She hit the wall and blacked out. Thomas was shocked at what he had done and ran to Angel's side. He gently picked her up and Shade stood up. "What happened?" he asked and Thomas stood with Angel in his arms. "You tell me!" he growled angerily and carried Angel upstairs and slammed the room door in Shade's face.

Elizabeth ran to Angel's house as fast as she could. When she got there she could fell tension. She walked in and saw a big lighting bolt hit Shade then Alngel, then Thomas slamed the door in Shades face. "Shade what happened?" She askedas she saw his shoked face. "I couldn't help my self. She looked so beautiful." Then ELizabeth relized what happened. All of a suden Shade looked at her funny. She rembered she was stille wearing her belt and dress. "Shade why are you staring at me like that?" "Because you are very beautiful. Are you the second generation Aphrodite?" "Yes now walk away befor I get Hayden and Jr." I guess I am the second generation Aphrodite. I should tell Angel and Thomas then go test out my powers and look up what my powers are. She knoked on the door and Thomas opened the door a crak and Elizabeth could tell he was still angry. "Sorry Thomas I wanted to tell Angel something but I can come back later. Don't worry I will get Shade for you so you can stay with Angel." Then she walked off and made Shade fall in love with his car. She drove away while Shade started to make out with his car.

Angel woke and looked around thinking she was still being attacked. Thomas hugged her and she relaxed in his arms. She touched her head and was thinking what the he'll happened when she remembered. "Shade!!! Is he okay?!" she asked and Thomas growled angerily. She kissed him reasuringly and looked into his eyes. "You don't understand, Shade couldn't help it... I remember now... The mark in his neck... He was under Devistation's controll!" she said and pulled on a very tight and very short black dress and flew down the stairs to Shade. She hugged him happily seeing him okay. "Im so sorry for whatever I did... If there's some way I could make it up-" "Shade i know it wasn't your fault... It's fine... Are you okay?" she asked and soon they all where on the same level and had forgiven eachother.

Elizabeth returned soon after and took the spell off of shade. "Angel I am the second generation Aphrodite. I just found out yesterday."

"What?! Really?! Elizabeth! This is wonderful!!" Angel said happily and hugged Elizabeth.

"I know. but when are you going to get your pwers? Thomas aready has his." ELizabeth said picking up Jr.

"I don't know..." Angel said trailing off. It was something that just happened... She couldn't nforce it to comet to her.

"oh well I hope it comes soon. the sooner the better, cuz then we can destroy Devestation. Well I have to go and get ready to go to Greece so I can do rearch on Aphrodite. Know what I have to live up to." THen she got in her carr and drove off to her house and started to pack three suitcases, and got the plain tickets.

Angel looked at Thomas wonder in her yes. Thomas held her waist and pulled her closer to him. She sighed and looked at him sadly. "Its all my fault... And now I'm the one holding us down.... Can I do anything right?!" she said angerily and ran into the forest loosing her shoes. She ran and then stumbled to the ground.

Elizabeth was in a big library in Athens lookng up every thing she could about Aphrodite, while Hayden and Jr. took tours of the city and seeing if they could pick up anything. Later they went to some smaller towns and then whent to Mt. Olypus. That was when Elizabeth talked to her mother for the first time and was told every thing she needed to know.

angel tried calling Elizabeth and Hayden but apparently there wasn't good cell reception all the way in Greece. She felt horrible. It had been two days and she still hadn't gotten her powers and felt that she might never get them. What if I'm stuck mortal forever? She thought horrified as she sat curled up on the couch. She began wondering if she was even a second generation goddess. Then that's when she realized that if she was a daughter of Artemis.... Her mother had been a virgin.... And she... Wasn't.... Tears streaked down Angel's face and Thomas came threw the door. His powers were growing every day and when henwas her he picked her up and hugged her. "Whats wrong?" he asked softly and kissed her slowly and everywhere on her face. "I don't think I'll become immortal.... I think I'm stuck like this forever...." she said and he kissed her chasing away her fears. "There's no way in hell my girl isn't a goddess." he said and kissed her in between every word. Angel wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled. "Why?" she asked between kisses. "Because no one loves and desurves it more than you do." he said. "Thomas... That's so sweet.." she said and ran her hands threw his hair.

"Angel I am so happy to see you." Elizabeth cried as she got out of the car. SHe now had bright blue eyes, long golden hair with bangs, and her skin looked natural and not her vampire skin. "Angel you have changed. Has anything happened while I was away?"

Angel looked down at the floor and Thomas wrapped an arm around her. "No...." she said feeling extremely small. "She has been training harder though... She's getting Stronger and much more beautiful each day." Thomas said trying to give Elizabeth the hint that it was a touchy subject for Angel right now. Angel smiled sadly and whispered,"I have to be as strong as possible if I'm not a goddess..." Thomas kissed her head and smiled stroking her cheek. "Youll get your powers I promise." he said.

"Sorry It's just that you have changed so much in the short time I saw you last. You are going to change soon I can feel it and my mother told me it was coming soon for you and Hayden. Well I have to get home but I will be back over in a little bit because I have to talk to you Angel about some thing." Elizabeth said looking at Hayden to see if he wasn't listening. "Honey if this is about my birthday pllease just drop it. " "Fine" Elizabeth giggled and winnked at Angel meaning it was about his birthday. "See you later." With that she got in her car and drove off.

Angel couldn't help but smile at Elizabeth's happieness. She was happy with thomas but she felt like she was letting everyone down. She couldn't go and do the things they did anymore.... She was too fragile now to help fight off the assasins always coming to her house. She had to stay at home like some stupid kitchen wife. "this is so damn stupid!" she said angerily and stormed out of the room.

"Angel I know it isn't your birth day but I wanted to give you this." Elizabeth gave Angel a big package.

Surprised Angel took the package in her hands and blushed. "You didn't have to get me anything Elizabeth... Really..." Angel said overwhelmed and sat down in a chair. She was afriad to open it but her curiosity won and she began taring the paper off. |
After Angel opened the package..."Angel, I know you are not imortal any more so I got you some magic armor. Now you can help us."

Angel looked at the mirror curiously and looked up at elizabeth. "What does it do?" she asked her voice laced with winder and she stroked the mirror softly.
