((Sabiir, would you like the honour of the first post, or should I? Also, my character is the good boy...is that okay? I don't think we really talk about that part. Just let me know if it isn't. Also, tell me if there's anything else you wanted added to the profile. Sorry I couldn't find a picture for his human form.))

OOC: I dont mind the first post- but first, I think we have a few last details. xD Since your Char is 18- do you want this based in a HS senior setting, or after graduation?

((That's okay; it helps get a lot of things out of the way quickly and keeps us from tripping up in the middle of the actual RP. What do you think? There wouldn't be much point to it if they didn't know...maybe they know about their powers, but not that they're actually gods? They can find that out later, I suppose.))

(They should definitely at least know they're different. Maybe they could start to figure it out through an Ancient Deity class/study project?)

((Yeah, definitely know they're different. I guess the class thing would work. It would certainly be interesting for them.))

Name: Seth Kalenwati
God: Set
Age: 20
Appearance (God): [X]
Appearance (Human): [X]

[One last question. :] Should we have a university school, or a general comunity college? I think a Uni. might be more fun, with dorms and all. But I started on first day of classes for now.]

Seth settled into his seat in the class, covering a yawn. His ice blue eyes were faded, half closed. Why the devil did he choose this infernal class, anyways. Ancient Deities, indeed. He sighed, propping his feet up on the chair in front of him, watching the last few of the class file in. He shoved black hair out of his face, then stuffed his hands back in the pockets of a loose black jacket. He turned his attention to inspecting the other students, for lack of anything else to do. He was here because the other History classes had been filled, and he needed the credit.

Walking into the first class of the new school year, Taylor was excited to begin learning again. Some of his friends called him a geek or a nerd, but he couldn't disagree with them completely. Learning was one of his greatest joys in life, and taking classes that deviated from the normal curriculum made him especially happy. Mythology in particular, was something that he had an interest in because of the mystery it brought. No one knew exactly how different myths began or why people started telling them. Sometimes there was even doubt as to whether or not two different gods were really different representations of the same deity, making it all like a giant puzzle to him, just waiting to be put back together.

Taking a seat close to the front of the class so that he could see the board easily, Taylor pushed his thin glasses up on his nose as he waited for the teacher to begin. All around him were his classmates, although he knew for a fact that not all of them were nearly as interested in the actual content of the class as he was. For many of them, it was just a class they needed a credit from. Most of the other choices had been filled up because of their popularity, so the majority of them were there against their will or for an easy A. However, that had never stopped him from enjoying a class before, and it wasn't going to ruin anything for him now.

Seth's eyes followed another boy as he entered the classroom, choosing a seat near the front. Seth's lips curled somewhat mockingly, his expression amused. That would be the teachers favorite, then. He looked around the classroom as it slowly settled down, the conversations carrying on in whispers now as the teacher entered the class. Seth's eyes returned to the nerdy-looking boy, idly watching him. Seth glanced back to the teacher as he started introducing the semester's outline. Despite his cynicism, Seth found himself listening to the teacher as he described the topics they would cover. Seth raised an eyebrow, the mention of Egyptian deities perking his interest- he had always been drawn to that culture, though he often hid that quirk. He actually glanced at the packet the teacher was passing out, skimming the assignments for the semester.

As the teacher spoke, Taylor took notes on the important points of the coming semester, although he made sure not to overdo it. Hearing about all of the different cultures they would be looking at was what excited him most, and he made sure to write down the names of every one that the teach made mention of. Even though it was only the first day and they would likely not have any serious homework, Taylor decided to do some preliminary research into any of the cultures that he didn't know much about. There were the obvious ones like Roman, Greek, and Egyptian, but there were also the cultures that people usually skipped over, like Aztec, Celtic, and even Inuit.

As the class continued, it was mostly just the teacher telling them what the rest of the class would be like, explaining the syllabus, and letting them know what they would be responsible for. The entire time, Taylor was taking notes on anything that sounded important or things that he might forget should he not write them down. Feeling more prepared than he ever had in his life by the time the class let out, he gathered all of his books and put them back into his pack. He didn't have any friends around to hang out with between classes, but he knew that the library was always open and that he had at least another hour before he had to be anywhere important.

Seth glanced out the window as the class ended, gauging the weather outside. He stood up, slinging his bag over one shoulder. He walked out the door, slipping headphones in almost instantly. Seth headed towards the library, the courtyard just outside it his usual place to wait in between classes. He dropped down on a bench, letting his bag slide to the ground as he tucked his legs under him.

Seth flipped open his zippo, lighting a cigarette while he waited. Seth tipped his head back, thinking about the last class. He tapped his fingers to his music, running over the list of Deities they'd be covering in his head. He looked at the doors to the library, frowning as the thought crossed his mind to actually look something up. Seth rolled his shoulders, as if shaking off the thought.
