Selene rose up higher to a point where she could see everyone, 'What do you think HIS problem was?'

'He's human so who knows.....,' Sorin sent.

Chema 09-06-2009 05:57 AM

(( I'll color code as well ))

"Unfortunately, I receive nourishment from the air around me," Breeze frowned at some of the juicy looking fruits on the trees, "I can't eat solid food anyway. I wonder what they taste like..."

She trailed off as she imagined what the feeling of being "full" was and how each fruit they came across on the trail would taste.

----------------------

"Thanks," Flame grinned at both the pup and the bird woman, "but Breeze has been missing for many months now, so maybe we should just help the human look for his friend. A human being would probably be easier to sniff out for you anyway."

HikariKuro 09-06-2009 01:52 PM

Sorin grinned, "Yeah humans stink of a death the comes too quickly."

Selene circled around them from above, "Oh God! I feel like such a vulture doing that!"

"Ugh.... We're not dead yet, Love!" Sorin said before shifting into his wolf form and sniffing around.

Hyena 09-06-2009 02:33 PM

"Well," Hans said thoughtfully. "Oranges taste tangy and sweet. And meat tastes savory and sometimes salty. Aaaaand vegetables taste like.... green. Except for carrots, which taste kind of sweet. And onions... but I don't like onions..." Hans rattled off all the foods he could think of that he had encountered in his 22 years of life, putting some of them into categories like "meat" and "vegetable" because he had tasted so many of them before and never cared much to make a distinction between them. "OO! And strawberries are really super-sweet like candy. OO! And CANDY! I forgot about candy because it gives me stomach aches and Leonard told me not to eat it so much anymore because last time I got really sick..."

---

Grizzly looked at the man who had spoke, wondering why he cared that he find his friend and not this "Breeze" person. It was... touching. Perhaps there was still kindness in the world, perhaps it wasn't only filled with selfish men. But, of course, he was a selfish man...

"Indeed," he said. "Let us go find my... friend."

HikariKuro 09-06-2009 02:45 PM

Sorin sniffed round for a while.... He caught another human scent, one that was different from the man that had just spoken to him.

'Hey! I found a human scent!'

((Mind you I have no idea where they are....^_^; ))

Chema 09-07-2009 01:17 AM

(( They're out in the forest somewhere lol we don't know either XD ))

"Wow," Breeze smiled at Hans, "They all sound just wonderful! I wish I could try them for myself since they probably taste differently depending on the person..."

--------------------------

Flame laughed at the antics the lovey-dovey couple was making. It kind of made his heart pang for Breeze's company. Breeze and himself had been friends for at least 10 years now. They had met by chance, he was looking for fun and Breeze was dying of solitude.

Frowning, Flame floated over to where Grizzly was. Maybe Grizzly felt the same way about his friend.

"How long have you known your friend?" he asked Grizzly with a curious expression on his handsome face.

Hyena 09-07-2009 03:00 AM

"Well, I dunno," he said thoughtfully. "I don't think I've ever tasted anything as another person. I will have to try it next time I get the chance." Granted, even Hans in all his grand weirdness could tell that this sentence may very easily be taken as nonsense. His friends, his pack would understand better, he surmised.

-------

There was silence, as there often was with Grizzly. There was a moment of his processing the question, whether it was a trick, and the best way to answer it. None of this showed on his face, which seemed to be stuck halfway between a satisfied smile and a contemplative frown.

"Not long," he said, trying to sound as warm as he could with his usual demeanor. "A few weeks, perhaps, but time is..." he trailed off, looking at the "werewolf" and the "angel." "...an illusion."

HikariKuro 09-07-2009 03:40 PM

Sorin howled, 'The scent leads to the forest!'

Selene looked down at the two men, "This way! Into the forest!"

Hyena 09-07-2009 03:56 PM

Grizzly smirked. "Funny," he said in an ironically unamused voice. "I thought we were already in the forest." Grizzly was, quite clearly, not a man of nature. Growing up in sterile environments, he was unlikely to determine much difference between one part of the forest and another. All the training he had gone through would only touch the surface on the real thing. He had not expecting quite so much... green.

Evolithia 09-07-2009 04:22 PM

Name: Evolithia (Evo for short)

Age: 17

Race: Mutant (She has the ability to move objects and read minds. [Think Jean Grey from X-Men])

Appearance: Avatar (With exception of clothes. :P)

Evolithia had awoken next to a glittering lake with a large waterfall pouring it's contents into the lake. Tropical fish can be seen darting to and fro in the lake, playfully. The trees surrounding Evolithia were numerous but she found herself an opening in the canopy realizing that it was mid-day. The sun beated down on her fiercely as she pulled herself out of the light bursting through the overhead canopy of leaves, twigs and other assortments. She felt a stinging pain swelling about the side of her head when she realizes the blood on the dirt patch she had awoken from. "Wha... What happened? Where am I? How did I get here?" Asks Evo to herself. She lays back against the tree she hides comfortably under from the sun as she attempts to remember how she reached such a tropical and beautiful area marred by her blood in that one dirt patch sitting out in the light that had managed to pierce through the canopy.

[I hope this is okay]

Hyena 09-07-2009 04:39 PM

((Perfectly fine. Lets see if we can get someone to find you, shall we? ^^))

Hans heard a noise in the direction from which they had come. "Hey Breeze! I heard something over at the lake," he said. "It sounded like a person! Maybe my friends have already found me," he said, clapping excitedly. With newfound energy, he jumped and skipped over to where he had heard the noise come from, beckoning the wind spirit to follow him as well.

He came upon the lake, but found the girl instead. "False alarm," he said to Breeze, and sat down beside the girl, cross-legged, and simply stared.

"Hello," he said after a purposely awkward pause.

Evolithia 09-07-2009 04:46 PM

She tilts her head in curiosity as to how she had reached where she was, when she heard a hello, a very very vague hello, almost invisible to her, she snapped out of her trance and noticed people around her, she jumped to her feet, in fright and let out a quick scream. "Oh, my goodness! You startled me!" She let off a deep sigh, "I'm sorry I'm not the one you are looking for..." She looks off into the distance losing herself in a trance once more pondering as to how she had arrived here.

Hyena 09-07-2009 04:53 PM

"No need to be afraid of me," Hans said, climbing the tree that she had been sitting under. "I'm just a monkey." He made a motion, mimicking an ape: one arm over his head, another beneath his armpit. "And its not your fault that you're not the person I'm looking for," he said, walking along the branch. "You didn't wish to be someone else... you simply are."

He sat on a low branch above her and swung backwards so that he was upside-down and three inches from her face. "Just kidding, though. I'm not a monkey."

He put out his hand in greeting. "I'm Hans." He gave a friendly, yet somehow feral, smile.

Evolithia 09-07-2009 05:02 PM

Snapping out of her trance when Hans had allegedly invaded her 'bubble' she listened to the odd man scaling the trees about her, and met his hand half way to fulfill his petty desires of making a friend. "My name is... Ummm..." She had just realized why she couldn't remember how she had got where she was, she had amnesia! She began to tear up a little and sobbed very lightly not realizing she was still grasping Hans hands ((<-- Hans Hands... lol... I thought that was funny. :P)) [[ Just suppose you are going to leave me sometime to think I have some family trouble... I g2g... =/ ]]

Hyena 09-07-2009 05:16 PM

Hans stared, beginning to get a little frantic as she began to cry. He looked around for either a catalyst or a solution. "Uh... uh... uh," he stammered nervously. He suddenly remembered the orange tree. He let go of her hand and said "Don't cry! I can get you something that will make you feel better!" He went back up into the tree to see if he could find the oranges from earlier. He rustled from tree to tree in search of them.

((That's okay. This RP isn't very fast anyhow.))

HikariKuro 09-07-2009 05:38 PM

Sorin sniffed around some more, 'Huh? I thought that Breeze wouldn't have a scent but I smell a female up ahead!'

Selene didn't see anything yet. The forest was too dense so she just shrugged, "I don't know...."

Hyena 09-07-2009 06:12 PM

"Then I think it is safe to assume that that is not the person you are looking for," he said, gritting his teeth. He had a hard time believing that anyone wouldn't have a scent. Perhaps the man he was traveling with had gone crazy, and this woman of which he spoke did not exist. It probably didn't help that he was traveling with all sorts of illusionists... it could not be healthy for a man in a tenuous mental state.

"It is not her which is my concern, anyway," he said, keeping a knife at the ready. He had one attached to his wrist in case he needed to free himself from the crazy people which surrounded him. He fingered the handle, just as a precaution. He did not think very highly of his company.

HikariKuro 09-07-2009 06:16 PM

Sorin snorted at the stupid human, 'We're immortal you're not. You go to try to kill us and you'll fail....'

Selene nodded, "If I were you I'd put that pretty little knife of yours away, lest you want you flesh melted off."

Hyena 09-07-2009 06:29 PM

"It is away," he insisted. The blade was still in its holster. "And if that was a threat, you should know that I'm not one to take threats lightly." Least of all from deluded freaks like you, he added silently. Immortal, pah. "I had it out in case we ran into trouble. I have no plans of trying to kill you." Yet.

HikariKuro 09-07-2009 06:45 PM

Sorin smirked evilly, 'You DO realize that I can read your mind, don't you?'

"And that I can read your emotions," Selene added.

Hyena 09-07-2009 06:52 PM

"I am inclined to disbelieve," he said, putting his knife away, but keeping it close by, sliding it back into the mechanism under his sleeve with a click. "Even so, were you able to, how would I been expected to know? Unlike you," he said looking at the assumed werewolf. "I am not a telepath. And unlike you" he continued, eyeing the assumed angel. "I am not an empath." He lightly folded his hands. "So certainly, I would have no way of deducing either of those two claims."

HikariKuro 09-07-2009 06:57 PM

Sorin let out a bark-like laugh, 'Then I how did I know you want to kill us?'

Selene added, "You hid your hostility towards us well, but I could still feel it. Do you not think that I wasn't contemplating killing you myself after feeling that?"

"She has a valid point you stupid human."

Hyena 09-07-2009 07:03 PM

"I choose to ignore that last statement, canine. Your paranoia must be getting to you. I told you: I don't want to kill you," he said calmly, inwardly losing his cool. "I took my knife out in case I needed it for defense." He narrowed his eyes. "You are of little use to me dead."

HikariKuro 09-07-2009 07:07 PM

Sorin smirked, 'Shall I quote one of of your thoughts? Or are you satisfied with the fact that I've been speaking to you with my mind the entire time? No? OK one of your thoughts was: Least of all from deluded freaks like you.'

Selene frowned, "You are deeply angered Mr. Mortal."

Hyena 09-07-2009 07:12 PM

"You misread me, child," he defended. "I wonder... what is it exactly that makes you so bent on figuring me out. I am not angry, simply perturbed." Avoiding the subject at hand, he would come back to these thoughts later. "As you can see, I have put my knife away. No longer am I a threat to you, if I ever was since you claim immortality. I fail to see where the current problem lies."
