Ebony let go and cuddled up into a ball. "We should... Warn... The others..." she managed. She was shaking horribly and her teeth began to chatter. She looked up at Ivan, helpless to do anything and heard an angry shout. "That sounds like Apollo!" she said worriedly.

Apollo held the vampire's hand and snarrled angerily. The poisoned dagger was inches away from his neck. He then kicked the vampire away and another jumped onto his back. Roaring in anger he threw the vampire off and morfed into his half wolf half human form. He dodged the slashed from the dagger but the claws of the other vampire sunk into his flesh and made him howel.

Ivan jumped to his feet when he heard him howl and gave what he had been working on to Ebony. "eat it, hopefully it will help." he said then shot out of the tent to help Apollo. He then fazed in mid air as he lunged at the one vampire and ripped hsi head off. he then looked at Apollo, "you okay?" he asked.

Apollo growled and ripped the other vampire to shreds before he answered. "Yes... Just a lucky gash... Nothing critical... But we should check on the others... I'm sure I'm not the only one the vampires were after." Apollo said and took off for Tricky's tent.

Ebony ate the thing Ivan had made and swalloded. Luckily it went down quickly because it tasted horrid. She still was freezing and shook but she knew better and gave it time. But she didn't have time. A vampire jumped into the tent and jumped onto her. She screamed and kicked him away but as she got up she tumbled to the floor her legs not able to support her. Tricky and Apollo heard but they were too preoccupiedwith four other vampires. Ebony tried crawling away as the vampire came towards her and laughed at her. "So much for the great demon slayer. Look at you! One of our double agents gets a hold of you and turns you into a weak little girl!" the vampire growled and grabbed her by the throat. She clawed at his hand but he just laughed and held the dagger's point under her chin.

Ivan let out a roar and charged back to the tent. He knocked dwon any vampire in his way and the riped the four vampires that had been attacking his friends into pieces. he then ran into the tent and saw the vampire and growled. "dotn you dare think about it." he said and lunged at him win amazing speed. he knocked her away from the vampire and bit his neck, enjoying the sound of crushing bones between his jaws.

Ebony rolled away and pulled herself up to her knees. She saw Ivan snap the vampire's neck and she could care less. That vampire deserved it. "The kids!!" she said suddenly and with a burst of strength she stood and ran to their tents. She ran to the twin's tent and scooped them up. She heard Thomas cry out and ran into the tent. "Dont you dare hurt my son!!" she growled and set the twins down. She lunged at him and he droped Thomas. They grappled on the ground and Ebony growled angerily. She then suddenly morfed and gave an ear splitting roar. She ripped out the vampire's heart with her bare hand and stoodup. She ran out of the tent and slew the remaining vampires that had found Havious's tent. He thanked her and she nodded. Blood spattered her grey skined body as she walked back to Thomas's tent and she found them cowering in the corner. "Its alright... They're gone..." she whispered softly and they all flinched and looked away fearfully. "Dont hurt us!!" the twins squeeked frieghtened. Ebony paled and looked at her hands. She looked away tears stinging her eyes and looked at them. "I wouldn't hurt you-" "Dont kill us!!" Thomas said fearfully and sheilded the twins from her. She backed up realizing she was the horrible monster again.... Just like she had been before. She covered her mouth as tears threatened to fall and she backed out of the tent. Her heart feeling likeit would break.

For once no one came to Ebonys side and wrapped there arms around her and said everything would be okay. For once there was no Ivan by her side and his voice was no where to be heard. For once he wans't near the ones that he loved. For he had been killed by a silver bullet. A vampire had been in hiding and had waited till Ebony was gone to shot Ivan as he killed other vampires. He now layed dead on the ground near there tent.

Ebony heard the shot ring out and gasped. She turned around and saw Ivan. "No!! No!!" she screamed pushing past her soldiers and ran to him. She fell next to him and looked at him. "Ivan you can't die!!" she screamed at him tears spilling down her cheeks. Her world was falling into darkness as she stared at his face. "You can't leave me... You can't!!" she said angerily and Apollo grabbed her and pulled her away. She screamed and struggled as she was pulled away. She couldn't leave him. Medics and Tricky bent over Ivan and she screamed, pain ringing in her voice. The children came out of the tent and tears fell down their faces seeig Ivan's dead body. Havious galloped tothem and went down on his knees and pulled them into a hug trying to sheild them from the sight. Ebony smacked apollo but he wouldn't let go. He just held her tighter and finally she gave in and sobbed into his shirt. He stroked her head and met Tricky's eyes. Tricky shook his head and Apollo howled in pain. The camp run out with howles and pained yells. Ebony slowly morfed back to normal and seeing this the kids ran to her and she held them tightly. The message was clear.... The vampires would stop at nothing... And the price had been great... And now their hope... The Demon Slayer.... Was practically destroyed...

Fang crawled out of the tent when he heard the whole and chirped. He slowly made his way over to the crying people. He saw his mother crying and walked over to her. He stood on his back legs and tugged at Ebonys leg trying to get her to look at him mommy? what is wrong? he asked as he looked up at her. HIs scales sparked in the moon light and worryed showed in everything he did.

Wbony looked over at Fang and shook her head. "Ivan's dead...." she choked. And saying that she fell apart. Her chest was empty and her heart died with him. She shook with the horrible pain and she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked up and saw a soldier she didn't reconize. "Please madam.... You should go into your tent.... We will take care of him..." he said softly and she nodded. She picked up the twins and walked with Thomas's hand in hers. She felt weak and pain racked threw her body. She slowly walked into the tent and helped the twins get dressed. The tears dried on her face and stained her cheeks. She then pulled on a black dress and her black cloak as well. She walked to Thomas's tent and looked at him. He was staring at his armor and Ebony went down on her knees and hugged him. "Thomas it's okay... You don't have to be strong... You can cry..." she whispered stroking his head lovingly. He bursted into tears and held onto her tightly. Ebony felt a presence in the ten and looked up to see the soldier. "You are releaved of duty..." Ebony whispered but he just smiled. Magic flashed up from his hands and Ebony gasped. Magic surrounded her and Thomas and they both cried out in pain. They dissappeared with the wizard and arrived passed out in the wizard's castle as a present to the king of the wizards.

Fang watched them go away and then walked over to Ivan. He then heard the scream of pain and ran to there tent just in time to see the wizard take them away. "mom!" he cryed out and then looked around for help. But no one was there, everyone was to bussy with Ivan to notice anything. Fang growled and marched over to them and touched his nose to Ivans wound. The silver bullet slowly made its way out of him and he took in a ragged breath.

The king looked down at the two laying before him and smiled. "She is not married?" he asked surprised. He looked at her and smiled. "But she is mated with a werewolf..." the soldier said and the king looked up. "Did you kill him?" he asked his eyes narrowing. "Of course." he replied. "Good.... What of this little runt?" he asked and the soldier smiled. "You can feel her strong magic... And he has it too..." the soldier said and the king grinned. Ebony woke and sat up slowly. Seeing the wizards she hissed angerily and bared her fangs. She morfed and broke free of the chains holding her. She jumped at the king and he held up his hand. Magic made her stop in mid jump and she gasped in pain. He walked around her smiling. "A magnificent hybrid... The vampires weren't lying when they said she was powerful..." he said and let her fall to the ground. He knocked her out with a wave of his hand and smiled.

Everyone was slightly surprised to see Ivan jump to his feet and start barking orders. He knew that Ebony had been taken, he felt it and no one judged his orders. Fang climbed up onto his shoulder and he woke with purpose. He knew that wizards woudln't be seeing this coming. he went straight to there tent and got her sent along with her kidnapper. He growled and came out of the tent, "Follow me now." he yelled and took off into the forest with everyone following him.

Tricky jumped onto his horse, and Apollo and Havious followed. Then Havious stopped and told Tricky he would stay back and protect the twins. He had promised Ivan and Ebony he would protect them if anything happened. He found them torturing a Vampire with their minds and he slew the monster. He picked them up and comforted them and tried fighting away their fears. The wizard king smiled at his new bride. She was dressed in a top just covering her chest and a see threw skirt that was cut up the sides to her thighs. A collar adorned her beautiful neck and he kissed the top of her head. She smiled and Thomas ran in dressed in wizard robes and had a collar around his neck too. "daddy!" he said happily and hugged the wizard. The wizard smiled and looked at Ebony. "Read from that scroll darling... We're expecting visitors." he said and she nodded. She walked to the scroll on the stand and began ringing it her voice ringing with power and command. Her eyes turned completely black and she smiled. Fire errupted in the forest blocking the resque party's way. The fire was pure black and it's heat was stronger then any other fire known to this world.

Ivan charged forward like the warrior he was. He feared nothing expect for losing those he loved and he ran right into the flames. Others stoped and just watched the flames. Ivan soon emerged from the other side and his clothing was all burned off. He continued ot charge forward and let out a ear splitting roar as he changed into his half form and continued to charge. nothing could stop him.

Ebony's smiled dissappeared and the wizard knew someone had gotten threw. "Its alright my dear... I'll get them." he said heading for the door and Thomas ran to him. "I wanna help!" he said excitedly. "Alright but you stay close." the wizard said and teleported them to the forest. Seeing Ivan comming Thomas smiled and created a sheild and threw it. It hit it's mark and it drove Ivan into the ground. "Well done my son." the wizard said smiling.

Ivan growled and snapped at his attackers but then stoped when he saw thomas. "thomas?!" he said as he looked at him and tryed to worm his way out from under the sheild. "THomas, it is me Ivan. Dont you know me, I am your father." ((god, I just thought of star wars)) he said as he slowly turned back itno his human form but still tryed to get out from under the sheild.

Thomas took a step back startled that this stranger knew his name and applied more pressure upon the sheild. "Who are you?!" he demanded bravely and the wizard put a hand on his shoulder. He looked down at Thomas and nodded. Thomas let the sheild dissappear and the wizard smiled. He wave his hand and made Ivan stand up. He had total control over his body and smiling he made Ivan put his hands behind his head. "Thomas, I've found you a new pet..." the wizard said smiling and Thomas's face lit up. "Yeah!!" he said happily and thrust his fist into the air. The robe sliped down slightly revealing a small part of the collar but then was covered again when Thomas put his arm down.

Ivan growled and tryed to thrash but couldn't. He then looked at Thomas and saw the collar ahd tryed to bit the wizard. "you unheavenly monster, you took my son away from me. You brain washed him. You did the exact same thing to me, you made me think I was a damn dog for three years. You made me miss out on my family." he growled at him and he started to get control over himself as he turned into his half form. "and I will kill you for what you did to me. You killed me." he roared at him.

The wizard was surprised and growled angerily. He flicked his wrist sending Ivan crashing threw a tree and into another tree. Thomas watched impressed. "He has good mind control..." he observed snd the wizard smiled. "Nothing that can't be broken my son." he said and sent a bolt of electricity at Ivan hitting him hard. Suddenly arms wrapped around him and he smiled. "My dear... You shouldn't run while preforming magic." he said softly. "I had to see what was keeping you." she said quietly and kissed his cheek, her eyes still completely black. She then picked Thomas up and hugged him. "Mommy, I stopped the dog." he said proudly. "Good job my little wizard.." she whispered happily to him.

Ivan got to his feet and stumbled towards them. He wasn't going to give up and looked at ebony when she said Wizard, "he is no wizard." he said and brushed some blood away from his eyes. "he is a werewolf just like me and your not merryed to this wizard. I am merryed to you. I love you more then anything else and I will die before I let a wizard control you." he said as he glared at the Wizard. "you are taking everything away from me, you first took me away from my family and now you took my family. Your going to die." he growled at him.

Ebony looked at Ivan unemotionaly and put a hand on the wizard's shoulder. "James... You should probily put him in a deep sleep.... We don't want him fighting and hurting someone..." she said softly and looked back at Ivan. Her eyes flashed and she casually touched her collar and held up two fingers hoping Ivan would see the sign for stand down. She then casually made a brush of her hair and smiled at Thomas. The wizard nodded and before Ivan could come closer he blasted him into the ground. Ebony had to keep herself from crying out but kissed Thomas's head to stop herself.

Ivan saw the sign and layed on the ground where he landed. He hurt all over but at least Ebony was okay and was just playing along with them. He groaned and slowly got into a sitting position. He pretended to be frightend of the wizard and slowly turned into a wolf and put his tail inbetween his legs. He crouched low to the ground and whimpered softly.

The wizard smiled and Thomas's eyes lit up. "You did it daddy!!" he said happily and jumped into the wizards arms. The wizard laughed and threw Thomas into the air and caught him again. He smiled and Ebony kissed his forehead. "Ill put the collar on darling." she said smoothly and walked over to Ivan. She knelt down next to him and grabbed him around the neck and brought him closer. She gently fasined the collar around his neck and pretended to activate the mind control but merely waved her hand and didn't put any magic into it. "Please... Don't do anything untill I get you..." she whispered in his mind and stood. Thomas ran over and jumped onto Ivan's back happily. Ebony attached the leash and pulled on the collar ruffly knowing she still had to act. The wizard wrapped an arm around her and smiled and kissed her. She kissed him back but he tasted horrible. She pulled away and smiled and walked with him.

Ivan smiled when he heard her in his mind and began to walk with them. He followed them light a loyal dog and dind't even feel Thomas on his back. He wagged his tail slightly as he walked with them like a regular dog and let his tongue come out of his mouth as he panted lightly from the fight and walk.

As they approached the huge castle Ebony smiled and layed her head on his shoulder. The doors opened magically and they walked inside. She smiled as they walked threw the halls and looked back at Thomas. He looked like he was having the time of his life and that put her mind at ease. She had to surpress her shock of seeing Ivan alive though. She then kissed the wizard and looked into his eyes. "Can you take the fire please? I have to clean up our little magic master." she said lightly and he nodded. He touched her forehead and her eyes returned to normal. "Thank you sweetie." she said sweetly and he kissed her again. "Anything for my queen." he said softly snd she walked down the halls to Thomas's chamber still holding onto Ivan's leash. As soon as she shut the door Thomas jumped off of Ivan and hugged him fiercely. "Im so sorry!! I had to use my sheild!! I'm sorry!!" he said tears falling down his cheeks. "Please don't leave us again daddy..." Thomas whispered looking as younge as he really was.
