Greg swallowed hard, "I, yeah, I know what you mean." he said. "Do you think that's actually a possibility?" he asked after the pause, "Don't you think it's a little early to be considering something like that?" he asked
"The Carousel" he admitted, "I hate that effin' thing. It's boring and there's tot-barf everywhere." he laughed. |
"well i think there might be a possibility that are relationship could be more and i want to give it a shot"she smiled and blushed a little."also...I've thought about this before and i think its good for us to see if this would work..."
Travis laughed with him and placed his hand on his shoulder "i know what you mean i hate that thing too i wonder why they would even need it nobody uses it"he then placed his hand on the wheel and payed attention to the road. |
There was a bit of panic rising in Greg now; he wasn't expecting this to be moving so quickly before anything had even begun. "Well... Why don't we just see how it goes?" he said smiling a little. He was hoping she would agree to that and stop scaring him. He really hadn't been expecting it. Yes, he liked her, at the least and he knew that. But if she was pushing for a serious relationship already... He didn't know where the relationship was going and he didn't want to be roped in so suddenly because he admitted his feelings.
Archie got a tingly feeling that he couldn't explain when Travis touched his shoulder, but he brushed it off and laughed again. "But Travis!" he grabbed Travis' hand that was on his shoulder and put on a pathetic, over-dramatic pleading expression, "Think of the children!" he laughed a little. |
"alright"Akira smiled but saw that Greg was in a little of a panic.She looked at him and asked "Greg are you alright...you seem tense am i going to fast for you because im not asking for a serious relationship yet but i just want us to have a good time...and you know maybe their might be something"she said hoping that would ease his stress.
Travis felt his hand being grabbed by Archie and looked over at him.He laughed with him and said "aww e'ff the children they can ride the roller-coasters for crying out loud" |
Greg took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, "You just startled me a bit. It seemed like you were expecting me on one knee already." he laughed, "There indeed might be something more, but there's no use in pushing it along any quicker than it wants to go, you know what I mean?" he asked with a small laugh. He pulled into a driveway and in back of a small Italian restaurant. He parked the car as a large, moustached Italian man came out of the back to greet them, "This place might not look like much, but they have the best spaghetti and meatballs with mushrooms around, trust me." he smiled, unbuckling his seatbelt and getting out and going around the car to open her door.
The Italian man came up behind Greg, standing a few feet away and greeting them in a whisper, as though someone was listening, "Gregory! So good to see you again!" he said, talking with his hands as well. Greg smiled, "Barnardo!" he greeted back, "You made the arrangements, I take it?" he asked. "Of course!" Barny said, "For you, Gregory, I would've closed the ENTIRE restaurant!" he exclaimed, letting his voice rise a little with his excitement. "Good man, Barny, but I wouldn't wanna cut you out of your buisness or anythin'." he said, "Barny, this is Akira, my date and bandmate, as you probably know. Akira, this is Barnardo, better known as Barny, an old family friend and owner of this fine establishment" he introduced them. Archie laughed again, letting go of Travis' hand, "Yeah, it'll put hair on their chests!" he said in a mock-butch-voice. |
"ohhh noo im not asking for that...that is way too early and i want to enjoy my youth im only 19 going on 20 soon"she said happily.She looked at the italian restaurant and smiled "ohhh i think its adorable...and i bet they do have good food"she giggled.She stepped out of the car and watched the two greet each other.She was happy to see that Greg was happy.She looked inside to see that they closed the restaurant down just for them to eat. "ohh is nice to meet you too Barny i can call you that for short right?"she asked she didnt want to be rude or anything.
"yes it would"he laughed.A couple hours past then they were finally at the Amusement park."Finally we are here"he said in relief.Parking his car and getting out. |
"But of course!" Barny laughed, "Come, come. I closed off the biggest private party room for just the two of you! Once you're in, I will open the rest to the public, but I promise no one'll bother you. Just as you asked, Gregory." he said, leading them into the place through the back and through the kitchen.
Greg walked with his hand on Akira's lower back, smiling. They went into the party room Barny had reserved and in the middle of the huge room was a table with candles set for two. There was a glittering chanelier above the table also, and large ceiling to floor windows covered by sheer fabric, so it let in some light, but no one would be able to see in the room. "Well, what do you think?" Greg asked her as he led her to the table and pulled out the chair for her. Barny followed, but lagged behind, waiting for the couple to settle down. When they parked, Archie practically jumped out of the car, "So! Where to first?!" he asked excitedly, "Roller coaster or cotton candy?" he laughed, mostly serious. |
Akira smiled and walked into the restaurant.She blushed not only having part of the restaurant closed just for them but having Greg's hand on her lower back made her happy.Once they walked into the party room.She cupped her hands over her mouth and smiled.The place was so perfect,seeing the room overwhelmed her but in a good way."ohhh my god its so beautiful here....i love it"she said happily.She sat down and thanked greg for pulling out the chair for her then looked at Barny "you did an awesome job decorating this place its gorgeous"she smiled.
"ooo why dont we do them both!"he cried out then thought for a moment and shook his head "scratch what i just said i dont think i want to throw up when im on the ride lets go on the roller-coaster's then get some cotton candy do you like that plan"he said looking at Archie. |
Greg smiled and picked up the menu nearest her and handed it to her and then took his own seat, not bothering with his own menu.
"Wella thank you!" Barny smiled, "Now, what can I get you two tah drink? Should I give you some time to think about what to eat as well?" he asked. "Akira, do you know what you want?" Greg smiled. "Yup, sounds good to me. Biggest rollercoaster first?" he grinned widely. Looking in the direction it was in and pointing. |
"ohhh dont worry i think i know what to get.."she smiled "could i get a sprite and to eat how about chicken alfredo"she then looked over at Greg. "what about you Greg do you know what you want?"she asked.
"ohhh yea we defiantly should do that first"he said looking at the huge rollercoaster that he was looking at. He looked up to the sky and cried "ohh thank you lord for making such a wonderful contraption for us to ride it"he teared up then grabbed Archie's arm and dragged him so they can get in line. |
Barny nodded and scribbled down the order, saying it was a good choice. Greg then smiled and when Barny looked to him he ordered as well, "I'll just have my usual." he said, knowing Barnardo would know what he was talking about; spaghetti and meatballs in tomato and mushroom sauce. With a smile and another nod, Barny took the menus, ran off and closed the door, leaving the two completely alone. Realizing they were back in that situation again, Greg looked at Akira, "So, maybe it'd be best to leave the relationship discussion for later." he said and then added, "I'm really glad you like this place. I knew Barny would do this for me, and he has really good food, so I was going out on a limb hoping you liked Italian food." he laughed a little.
Archie laughed and followed Travis quickly, "Hey! If we got a couple of fast passes, we could skip lines, you know. Those things that tell you when you can go on a ride and you just waltz passed the other six-hundred people standing there? Whaddayah think?" he asked. |
"yea that sounds good to me"she smiled."aww its alright i love Italian food so you guessed very well"she laughed and looked around the place once more.She moved a piece of her hair behind her ear and looked back at Greg "and im glad that you took me here because ive been craving italian food for weeks"she smiled.
"ooo that would be awesome"he said as his face brightened up."skipping all these people would be great that would give us some time to hopefully ride all the rollercoaster's twice before leaving"he then started going under the metal bars that kept the lines in order. |
"Well, I'm really glad you like it here then." he smiled. He looked around a moment and then back to her, "So, I hate to admit it, but I don't know what to talk about..." he laughed.
[Archie followed Travis, "Alright, we can go after this, cause the line doesn't look too long right now." |
"ohh sorry im kinda babbling there trying to keep up the conversation and stuff"she blushed rubbing the back of her head.She felt a little embarrassed but was trying to think of some other stuff to talk about."hmm so how do you feel about the concert that we are going to play in a little later today?"
Travis sighed and nodded "alright then.."he said standing right next to Archie.A couple minutes went by and it was finally their turn."alright do you want to sit in the front thats like the awesomest place to scream your head off" |
Greg shrugged a little and laughed, "The Battle of The Bands... I'm not really thrilled about it or anything, but I am kind of excited. You know, the excitement I get whenever I go onstage." he laughed, then turned and asked her, "What about you?"
Barny walked in with their drinks, setting the Sprite in front of Akira and the Root Beer in front of Greg, "Your food is almost ready, I promise. I'll be right back with it." he smiled and walked out of the room, as Greg called a thank you to him. "Well Duh!"Archie said, torpedoing towards the front car and hopping in. |
"yea i understand what you mean cant wait to go up on stage you get this feeling when your on there and you adrenalin is pumping its just so cool"she grinned. She then saw that the drinks had arrived "ohh yea thats fine with us right Greg"she smiled at Barny then looked over at greg."hmmm i wonder what the other two are doing"she asked out loud.
Travis laughed then sat right next to Archie and started putting on his seat belt."crap man i can't wait for it to start"he said.One of the people that were working started to check if everybody was in safely and then pressed the button that made the cart start flying on the tracks. |
Greg smiled as she spoke, responding after Barny left again, "Exactly! You understand it!" he laughed a little. Then at the mention of the others, he gave a half laugh, "By now? Probably in jail..." he said.
Then Barny arrived, the plates on a tray, "Careful, they're hot!" Barny warned with a smile and pleasant voice as he placed Akira's plate in front of her and then Greg's in front of him. "Thank you, Barny." Greg said with a smile. Archie agreed, "I hope it's worth the wait." Archie said, as he buckled himself in. The attendant put down their bar, as they were automated from the booth, and was given the thumbs up by the guy who went around checking them. When the cart took off, Archie laughed. It was fast, at the least. So worth the wait. |
"ohh god just thinking about that just makes me laugh"she giggled.She looked at her food then looked back at Barny and grinned "Thanks the food look great"she said ready to dig in.
He watched as the cart started making twist and turns.He laughed and screamed only once and a while but didnt get the thrill he wanted to get out of it.So when the rollercoaster was finished he took off his seat belt and got off "that was fun but....but i didnt get the thrill i wanted to get out of it what about you Archie?" |
Greg laughed Barny told them to enjoy and then left them to it.
"As to those two being in jail, we'll find out when we get home." he laughed, mixing the sauce into his pasta. "It was good," he said unbuckling and hopping out, "But it was over too quick to enjoy it." he said. |
"yea thats true we will see but for now lets just enjoy the food"she smiled then ate a little bit of pasta and took a sip out of her drink.
"yea i know what you mean"he scratched his head "lets go on another ride"he said walking towards the exit. "so what ride do you want to ride next?" |
"Alright. Does that mean you don't want to talk about us?" he asked, beginning to dig into his food. He wasn't quite sure if the conversation from earlier was over or not. Last he had heard she was telling him she was too young to get married.
Archie gave him a look, "Now we're going to get the fast passes. So we can skip the lines." he said, grabbing Travis' wrist and pulling him along to the booth. He asked for one of the passes for two people and slapped the money for it down on the counter, while the guy behind the counter stared at him, mouth agap. They had obviously been recognized. They pimpled boy fumbled around for one of the passes, activated it and handed it over with shaking hands and a stuttering voice as he explained: "Y-you just have to go up to the sign of the ride and scan the barcode after clicking the blue button. It'll register the ride and tell you when it's your turn. Then you just take the line that says "fast pass" and click the green button at the "Fast pass" station, and it will open the gate for you." he said, still staring. "It... It's also waterproof, but try not to drop it in the water rides. You have to pay for it if you lose it." "Thanks, man." Archie said, grabbing the pass and clipping it onto his beltloop, "Let's go, Trav." he said, turning to leave the stunned and starstruck boy at the counter. |
Akira looked up at Greg and smiled "well i dont mind talking about us...but you said that you wanted to talk about it later..."she then tried to remember what they were talking about in the car."we were talking about marriage...right?so do you want to start there"she giggled.
"yea thanks dude"he winked.He then turned back to Archie and follow "yea...yea im coming"he smirked then looked at the rides "alright where should we go now..."he then saw a ride kinda like the superman ride and looked over at Archie "hey you want to go there maybe that ride will satisfy are adrenalin" |
((We only got one. A Fast Pass is an electronic device, a bit bigger than a cell phone. You've never been to an amusement park with one? owO (We'll pretend we've got two, I guess. n_n; )))
Greg laughed, "Well, since it is later, I guess yeah." he smiled a bit, "But not us, per se. Just in general, do you want to get married? Not to me, but someone." he said, looking at her while turning his fork in his pasta, then stabbing a mushroom onto the end of it. "Yeah, we'll register our passes and then go get cotton candy!" Archie said, walking towards the ride they had just agreed on. As they walked, the guys passed a group of teenage girls, who were whispering and staring at them. |

Akira giggled.Her face then turned from bubbly to a calm face. "well i do want to get married to someone one day...have a few kids and stuff but i want to find someone who would love me for the way i am"she smiled looking at her pasta "what about you do you want to get married?" "alright then lets! go"he said walking beside him then looked over at the people whispering then back at Archie "damn...do we stand out that much god"he laughed |
((That's okay. xD <3 I've only ever used one once at Six Flags, and I don't even remember how it worked. I made it up. But we did have one pass between the two of us- me and my friend. And it was electronic.))
"You know, I've been back and forth over the issue since second grade when my 'girlfriend'" he said, putting finger quotes around the word, "told me we were married." he laughed. "Lately, I've been thinking I would like to be married. Or at least committed to someone forever. Like, even if we didn't have the whole ceremony and it wasn't official or anything, the commitment and promise to love and stay with each other forever would be enough for me." he began playing with his pasta, realizing he was rambling, "And I love kids, so having a few would be like icing on the cake. So long as she wanted them too.... But I think I'll have kids either way, even if I end up alone and adopting." he smiled a little, finally looking back up at Akira, after having been looking around and down at his plate since he began his ramblings. They were almost to the ride, and more people were looking. "I think fans have finally realized we're here. They didn't notice us the first time because we were running every where." he laughed. When they got there, the sign was right out front, and the line was nearly back to it, whereas the fast pass lane next to it was completely empty, and there was a gate at the end of it, leading to stairs to the ride just as the normal line. Archie hit the blue button and scanned the barcode under the big yellow letters that said 'FAST PASS CODE!' and when it beeped he looked down at it. On the top line of the screen it said the name of the line and had a timer, which was counting down from fifteen minutes. "Looks like we have enough time to grab that cotton candy!" Archie said excitedly, looking around for the stand. He pointed out at it, "That away!" he said. |
