It is unknown what his true age is. He had been sealed and kept in a coma-like state for centuries. Even he doesn't know exactly his true age.

Biography:
Zane, or Zanarie Abelous Ferrae, had once been a terrible deity summoned by an ametuer magician. Being a cocky entity, Zane fooled the young man and slaughtered him when he could. He had reined in the villages region as the 'bringer of nightmares', but over time, he had grown tired and soft. Unfortunatly, the people wanted him destroyed, fearing he would bring terror to them again. A young prodigy magician had taken the job of killing him.

When she found him, she saw what a wreck Zanarie had become; she could not bring herself to kill him. Instead, she remained at his side as a companion for a short time. Finally, in a moment of madness, he attacked her, forcing her to attempt to kill him. Sadly, the spell she released on him was not the kind of spell that would kill him. His essence was too powerful. The spell reflected with its original motive and killed the young magician. Zane crawled to the back of the cave and collapsed into a deep coma. Only recently had he woke when he was found by some villagers. But they did not find a hideous demonic creature, they found a young man.

Weapon Skill:
Zane uses a special dai-katana that he crafted with his shadow abilities as a demon. He doesn't like to use it much any longer, but carries it so not to seem out of place when traveling as a human. Unfortunatly, he has no style that normally uses a dai-katana, he merely weilds it as a normal blade.

Other:
Zane's abilities are somewhat numerous, but not all are known for he has yet to discover most. Though he is able to control and create shadows, making them tangible when he wishes. He is also able to transform into animals or other mythical creatures, though each shape he takes that isn't his human shape will appear like a shadowy, smokey silhouette with glowing red eyes. He is also able to shift his vision or hide himself in other 'planes' of magic. This renders him invisible to those who aren't trained in magic.

Zane owns no pets, but has a small love for animals. He will be drawn to them if they are in the same room or building. He also likes sweet smells and tastes.
