Being outside the very fabric of reality was always a hard thing to become used to for him, back when this had all started he had never enjoyed the trip through time. But he soon realized that throwing a fit over it wasn't going to keep it from happening. He looked over at his brother who was clung tightly to his sleeve, a habit the younger had acquired after being separated once because of this time issue...it was lucky they were even able to re find each other.

He never knew where time was going to dump him again, he had been to so many places and times hes been to. He had even lost track of how many seasons have passed since all this began because, of course, he was not home to be able to count the seasons. It felt like an eternity, like he has been stuck in the same body and age forever. It wasn't a pleasant feeling, being sucked into strange world, scary world then be floating in what seemed an everywerenowhere land of colourful smells and tasty feelings. He just let out a sigh as he felt himself being drug downwards, a feeling almost like being gripped in a giant hand and being pulled down at a rather fast speed.

He gripped onto his brother's clothing to make sure they weren't torn apart as he suddenly was pulled into broad daylight, the air was salty giving hint that the ocean was close... closer then he thought. He fell hard and flat on his back onto something made of wood, his unfortunate brother fell like a hunk of iron into the deep salty water what the wooden contraption floated upon. The youngest resurfaced after a few minutes and grabbed hold of the side of the boat and coughed.Blinking several times to adjust to the broght light of the sun the eldest sat up and looked around...

Facing toward the island, Elise had her back to the mainland, slowly rowing. Keeping careful watch to be sure that no one from that place had seen her leave. A determined smile was on her lips. None had followed her, yet. Elise continued her rowing, the heavy stroking of the rows even and precise. Not knowing of who was about to drop in, and how much that detail could ruin her within seconds. Mere seconds. Elise stayed quiet, and listened to the wind, pulling the boat through the water. A gasped breath fled her lips as listened to something slamming down into her boat, and something also crashing through the water. The first's impact, because he fell so far down it caused the girl more trouble then she expected. Looking at the anatomy of her body, anyone who carried that curse, she weighed little over twenty pounds.

Elise was thrown a ways into the air upon their impact, after feeling the boat rock for a quick, small fleeing moment. Soon she fell back the few feet she was thrown, falling into her boat with a light thump. From that blast of air, the girl's cloak was brushed away to behind her shoulders, and revealed her hair and body. Her hair was a soft shadow of blue green, her eyes shockingly deep sapphire, and her small body had the pallor pigment of someone's last moment in life. Hearing his cough. Not used to the man's travel, or even who he was, the girl's hand darted to the dagger at her side. But turning to look at him closer, before she drew the blade, Elise took notice he did not carry the same familiarities as she. Taking a slow, shaken breath she slid into her seat of the boat but this time faced the mainland, looking at who had fallen into her boat. His lying figure, back down. Glancing at the water having heard the sound of something someone resurface, Elise saw a second man. A younger one then who had crashed into her boat. As he grabbed onto the side of the boat and having seen the first sit up on his own, Elise reached over and offered a hand to the latter, assisting him into her small row boat if he so chose. Her hand was pale with a tint of silver instead of the normal peach, tan, dark brown, or reddish tones. If he took her hand, he wouldn't feel as much as a pulse running through her body, but the girl's body felt as warm as a human's.

Looking at the pair, a worried smile touched her lips. She knew better then to ask if they were all right, they had fallen like a ton of bricks from who knows where. And her homeland was closer then the mainland, so if they needed healing assistance of some kind that was available to them. As long as Elise was with them, the land would be open to the pair. "Are you either badly hurt?" She asked, still offering her courtesy while at the same time, not sounding stupid about it.

The youngest, Seosamh, accepted her help and clambered into the boat. He ignored her unusual appearance, in his travels he has seen things a lot weirder then that. He sat by his brother and drew his arms in close to him as the wind began to cool him down. His clothing was tattered and worn, what dirt wasn't knocked off when he suddenly smashed into the water was now muddy and smeared. He nodded a thank you instead of saying it. He didn't fully understand her language and wasn't sure if she understood his native language, or any of the few words he learned from future languages during his time travels. He reached up and wrung some water out of his ratty hair that was now plastered to his shoulder, arm and back. On one side of his head his hair was completely shaved off revealing intricate blue tattoos, obviously Celtic.

Concobhar's vision finally came back to him, first looking at his brother he saw the younger nod to someone. His gaze slowly shifted to the girl that sat across from him, he didn't look upon her with kindness like the young man that sat beside him. His gaze was full to burst with distrust and common annoyance. Not all because of this unusual lady, he was always grouchy after being tossed through time. Concobhar's hand raised to the hilt of the sword that rested in a sheath on his back. His brother reached out and grabbed his wrist and whispered quietly to him in their native language. "Calm down, I don't think shes a threat."

The younger's voice was raspy, as if he had been doing a lot of yelling recently, a voice that fit his ragged appearance. He looked over at the lady. "Can you understand our language?" he asked situating himself to find a more comfortable way to sit.

((xD You don't think Elise is a Mary Sue do you? Her hair is different then the norm because of the infection she carries. As is her pigment and such.))

Next to the girl's feet was a sack of Henna leaves, an extract of the plant Lawsonia, yet to be crushed or given water. Pulling her hood just enough up that it hid her hair and shielded her from the sun, Elise looked back at the men. She wished to use the herb for darkening her hair once reaching another isle on her way to the mainland or whenever she arrived. Elise wasn't entirely too troubled about being found, her leaving before her memory was swiped was mainly for a statement. Those who suffered the infectious curse had leaders who resided in their land of origin, Greece. On that very isle she left. Those elders had to go through with their works, and take away the memory of whoever bares the same curse. Separated from actual humanity's world and ways. Whoever was born with it, was not a human, though they might have carried at most the same body structure and a soul.

Elise heard the youngest quietly whisper, but did not catch a word of it. Whatever he did say, she was glad that he had as the action kept her from being stricken. Not that she would have been terribly wounded from it. Elise was hard to kill, but all at the same time she was very easy to destroy. Carrying no organs within her body, no systems besides a soul with blood colored silver gravitating around it. Their blood was such a color because it was believed to match both their god's eyes color. And those divine entities were those who bestowed such changes upon those with their heritage. In other words, whoever carried that infection was less then even half of a god or goddess. Piercing a sword through their skulls would not even lead to their deaths. Their body would fall into deep weakness and they would suffer agonizing pain, but they could not die. Their souls, which was what kept them alive and it held their thoughts and powers, their feelings their everything... Their souls would still be living on. Others with that curse, who had power of healing, could fix their bodies.

However, there were several ways to break the soul. To fully kill whoever bore it. Beneath their chests, where their heart would reside, an attack to that area was fatal. There would be no bringing them back, and the only fragment left of that person if others called their species that, would be a single thread which took residence in their souls. With that transfers their magic and life source. Even a human could wield it, and though their bodies would not experience change, whoever took control of it would have the magic of he or she who died and an extended life with delayed growth.

Meeting the gaze of Seosamh, understanding did in fact show in her eyes as he spoke aloud to her. Asking if she knew their language. With a nod, she replied. "You are of Celtic origin?" Elise asked, recognizing his native tongue aside from her own and Latin. She knew little of the main European languages, having had little time to learn before she left. Looking at the tattoos on his head caught her attention, looking over it with intrigued eyes.

((Naw, You actually GAVE an explanation for her hair. The whole infection thing and the whole they aren't human because of it stuff is something I see a lot. Thats the only thing I don't like about your character. ^^' But I can deal with it because from what we have done so far your character isn't really much of a sue, and doesnt act like the other characters like that. And those characters had some retarded past tacked on, and you DIDN'T have her memory wiped yet. Most would do that because they think it adds to the plot. Just for the sake of my sanity don't revolve everything with your character about it. ^^' If you get what I mean.))

Concobhar was ignoring the girl and his brother. His mind was solely focused on a fish that swam close to the surface of the water. In boredom he reached toward it, but before he had the chance to attempt to snatch it the sound of another speaking his native language came from behind. When she spoke it somewhat startled him, he had been away so long he had grown used to all the un-understandible languages of the future timelines and he surely never expected to have fallen into a time close enough to his own that someone could understand him. When she spoke to his brother Con stiffened slightly and was gone, only to plummet back down to the earth in the same spot he had moments ago, splashing heavily into the water that was now exposed since the winds and currents had moved the boat slightly away. He resurfaced and flailed with anger in the water.

Seosamh was just about to reply to the girl he was surprised but not startled that she was the only one in what felt decades that he would be able to communicate with, but the sound of his hotheaded older brother yelling made him stop before he uttered a word. "Uh...sorry.." he said nervousness in his hoarse voice as he reached for his brother and grabbed on to the flailing elder's shirt. "I could have explained why we suddenly dropped in your boat." he said pulling his brother out of the water with unusual ease, as if the water itself was helping him. He pulled the older one in but didn't let go of his sleeve. Concobhar fell over on his stomach and just remained there. He was no longer in the mood to really do much of anything anymore.

Seosamh really didn't want to explain why they were there or how. Partially he didn't know how to explain it, he knew that he had to tell her instead of keeping the poor girl wondering and she obviously had some place to go where...he didn't know..or care getting into other peoples business was his brothers job. He looked at her and scooted as close as he felt comfortable, still gripping his brother's sleeve. "First, may I ask exactly were we are...aside from being stuck in the middle of some body of water?"

((Heh, I know >.< I'm always self conscious role playing with these kind of characters because of the overdone-ness... The actual story behind everything though, is something I came up with on my own. Their legend? Yeah, I'll probably have Elise explain that later if need be. The history really neat and I haven't seen the blasted thing in any role play yet xD And you don't have to worry about me tacking on anything. And I didn't want to erase her memory for a plot idea. Too much attention would be drawn to her xD And it's unnecessary. Her past is okay, so you don't have to worry about that.))

Swallowing, Elise watched as the eldest who sat before her, only moments ago trying to catch a fish vanished before her very eyes. Did he have some sort of power? Before she could sort through even one of her thoughts the same man came crashing back down into the water before them, again rocking the boat. The shock would come far less to her if he was one of her kind, but he appeared entirely human to her. How was he able to do... whatever he just did? Elise's eyes were a bit wide, and helped as the man's brother helped Concobhar back into the small boat. Watching him, almost waiting for him to disappear. Her eyes were filled with wonder, curiously asking herself what had happened.

She was brought back to reality as Seosamh whispered an apology. Listening with a nod as he said he could have told her what happened, but then he didn't. Elise blinked innocently, glancing back to the one who had not uttered as much as a word to her. Now both of them were drenched, and she was still confused as to how they arrived in her boat, and how the first one she saw vanished and reappeared in the water. Falling as he did before.

Elise shifted a bit, reaching for where the oars would be had they not fallen into the water. Grimacing, the girl began to remove her cloak but paused as the youngest of the brothers spoke. Talking as if he would explain, but after a few things of course. Not really minding, she gave him a wary smile. "Off the coast of Greece," Looking to the boat's left side, she gestured west, looking at a large isle. "Over there is Kassos," and pointing to the east to an even larger land mass "and there is Karpathos," Turning around, she looked back at the land she had come from. Unknown by humans, and not on any map. "And there is uh... a uh..." The girl appeared awfully hesitant, and finally fully removed her cloak, looking back to the brothers. "That's an island." She dove into the water, searching through it for the oars. Luckily the sun was bright, making things easier to see, but her oars were not in sight. They had too much time to sink. Irritated, Elise flicked her fingers and closed her eyes, imagining the oars she had lost. Slowly through the water they both came, and pressed themselves into the palms of her hands.

Coming to surface she returned the boat's necessities and crawled back in, rather dazed from the chill of the water. The two isles on either side of them were close, and could easily be traveled to. Noting that both the boys were as drenched as she, Elise smiled. "I suppose we had better take a rest and try to make it to main land sometime tomorrow, right? Before we become ill." Rowing the boat toward the smaller island of Kassos, Elise shivered as the air hit them once more, and was thankful they soon arrived.

((Here is a map of the area of Greece they are currently in. Look south and you'll see the two places I mentioned. And of course, Elise's island is not on the map xD))

(Sorry im late. >.< Work rawr.)

"I've never been to this area before.." Seosamh said, more to himself, looking from one island to another. He had never been near Greece but had heard a little about it from the well-traveled people that he knew. He was sure that he was close enough to their time line now, he may be able to find a way to help his brother. But that was for a later date.. He opened his mouth to say something but had stopped as the girl suddenly was in the water. He blinked in a little bit of confusion as what she had just done...gone overboard into the water, he watched her climb back in with the oars he was slightly confused about the oars themselves but kept quiet.

Now they were all soaked... and when a soft wind blew he shivered too. Seosamh's filthy clothes were soaked and clung to his skin...making him even more chilled. His older brother didn't seem to care that he was now soaked. The only thing in his mind was getting somewhere that he could make a fire and dry off. It didn't help that he wasn't enjoying being on a boat. He grumbled in an irritated way, his younger brother looked over at him then to the girl. "I agree, we do need to rest. And on the way I'll tell you whats going on with him." He motioned to his brother beside him.

"Well you see.." he started not sure how to start this off. It was a complicated story and he didn't want to confuse her. "My brother here got into it with the wrong person some time ago..." he continued on about how his brother was their tribes best warrior, Concobhar only grumbled. "He went off on his own one day and met some sorcoress and went off on how he feared nothing. This angered her and she put a curse on him so that every time something frightens him...he gets sent to another location in time. How far in time we go depends on how much of a fright he gets." He looked over to where he had fallen into the water earlier. "That's why that happened. His mind was elsewere and you speaking must have spooked him."
