When the magical creatures left the earth, the dragons couldn't just leave man without some form of aid. They loved the humans and their variance of emotions, morals, and actions. They also saw how human's easily blundered as a race. They did not want to see them fall without trying to aide them in some way. They decided to leave a group of five dragon soul's in their care, to be awakened when they were in desperate need. But who would watch over these souls until summoned?

They created a small guild of men who would have a little bit of power to watch over five dragon souls. Five different men and woman were originally chosen. They would choose from one of their children to follow after them in the care taking. They would decide when the dragons would be needed and would then perform the ritual in which they would be born into human bodies.

As time passed and generations came and went, unfortunately the guild became corrupt and they sought power and wealth. They found a way to harness the fives powers and decided to summon the dragon's to claim it. At the ceremony, they brought five newly born children, thinking that they would become the vessels for the dragon soul's. When the souls hatched from their eggs, the souls flew off in all directions, leaving no clue as to where they went. All save one, that settled into the child held there. It was one of the Dragon Order's own children.

For now they had one, but if they could find all five, they would have infinite power...... The search is on.

Cee Walked into the campus, a small book bag slung over one shoulder. It was the first day of his new life at school. the university was pretty big, and he had a decent swim team, so he was pretty happy to be here. he took out his schedule from his pocket.

"Let's see my first class is potter...how did i let my mom talk me into that...not that pottery isn't cool it's just not needed to pass...Let's see it starts at 9:35am...an d it is.. OH CRAP!" his watch blared 9:29am, and he needed to cut through campus and find it. he took off at a run to find his class, pleading with a higher deity that he would make it on time.

Leyla walked into the conservatory her red dress skin tight, and revealing. She felt like miss scarlet, and always felt compelled to wear red when she came to the mansion. the place could have been ripped of the board game of Clue. But since it was older than the game, perhaps it was the other way around.

There were a group of people talking together lounging around with whatever they preferred to drink. It wasn't all from her family either. Many members from other families but close to the guild were there.

Including her senile decrepit Grandfather, dozing in an over sized armchair. She draped her self advantageously across one of the younger man's back rest.

"Hello boy's..." She drawled, catching the others attention.

"Care if I join in?" She batted her eyelashes at them and dared them to try and exclude her.

Kyra looked up at the sight of the high school building and she sighed. "Yet another day, another year." She let herself look determined and serious. "Might as well make it through." She said as she walked into the main entrance. She knew she needed to go to the front desk to ask for her schedule, so she walked into the Main Office to do that.

"Hey, umm. I'm here to pick up my class schedule." She said with a small smile. The older woman behind the desk smiled at her and asked her name. "Kyra Silvaen." She said simply and waited til the woman handed her a sheet of paper. "Thanks." Kyra said with a smile as she walked out of the office. She looked at the paper and headed off for her home room, which was also her first class of the day.

Loki rolled his eyes as his mother tried to explain to his father, who was at home for once, that her daughter, Loki's five year old sister, should be the heir to the Guild legacy. His father returned that she wasn't yet old enough, and should Loki die, or refuse to take his responsibility as the heir, then the little girl would be the heir, when she came of age. So his father soon left for work, and Loki's mom seemed to be looking at him with a death glare.

Loki simply smiled back at her in a creepy cheshire cat kinda way, except without the body disappearing part. She rolled her eyes and walked out of the room. Loki got up from his chair, and walked over to his sister, Larissa, who had been looking at him during their parent's argument, as though realizing that the conversation was about them.

"So Ari," Loki began with a smile, "do you think Mommy is right about this?" He asked. As much as he was strange and unusual, the only person in the world that he cared about was his baby sister. She simlply smiled at him and shook her head. As much as she could talk, she never talked much, usually it was only that she would talk to him, or talk so that their mother would be happy to see her little girl wasn't disabled.

A car began approaching the front of the school where parents drop off their children, a blue sedan, it slowly stopped and the door on the right opened up, soon Jacob stood upon the sidewalk, hands in his pockets and a bored look on his face. He shut the car door and let out a sigh, but he turned and faced the back seat door, his little sister sitting in the seat, holding a plush teddy bear. "I'll see you after school Amanda, have a good day, okay?" Jay said, smiling for a change, he only smiled for his sister, never for anyone else, Amanda smiled sweetly at Jay, "okay big brother, will you help me with my homework too?" She asked him, Jay chuckled, "yes, I will help you, see ya later" Amanda giggled and Jay moved back to the front where his dad was in the driver's seat, looking at Jay in the corner of his eye.

"I'll see you later son, have a good day" his father uttered, doing his best to sound friendly, you could hear the guilt in his voice, the guilt of the nine years of hell that he put him and Amanda through. Jay would probably never forgive him, a growing disgust was brewing in Jay's stomach so he turned his back to his dad and walked up to the front doors of the school, an angry look on his face. His father side and drove away after that, Amanda was upset over how much Jay hated their dad, but she didn't show it. Jay stopped inside the school and pulled out the folded schedule paper from his pocket, trying to find his first class.

"Okay, first class is..... pottery? What the hell..." he sighed, "the school must've given me this crappy class, oh well... its just gonna be more friendless years of my life anyway." He folded back up his schedule, putting it in his pocket and he looked over at a clock on the wall for the time, "9:29? I better hurry..." He was about to start running, till some kid with blue hair zoomed by, he got distracted slightly, but then regained his focus and ran toward his class.

Omi laid back in his leather arm chair, hands behind his head and one leg folded over the other, he was within the group of people chatting and drinking, but he wasn't much for conversation, only listening, his own personal butler from the sea house stood next to him, holding a silver platter with a martini upon it for him. When Leyla walked over and stood behind his chair, he looked up at her face and his smug smirk soon grew into a toothy, evil grin, "sure... we don't mind, I certainly don't." Omi's voice was so sickeningly vane, due to his nature of being a spoiled rotten man who never did a hard day's work in his life, he grabbed his martini and drank it slowly, placing it back upon the platter and shooing his butler away. His butler bowed and walked off to make him another drink. Omi soon sat up and hunched over, he was clearly bored at this point, "is there anything fun to do around here besides have boring, meaningless conversation?" He said in a very rude tone, looking around at everyone huddled in the group, he folded his arms, looking very annoyed, despite him being one of the five, he wasn't the leader and couldn't give orders.

Kazuki blinked wide eyed at her new school. Well, one of them. Her family had just moved here, and was already pushing her into excelling academically. First half of the day at highschool, last half at college. With a mental shrug she trotted inside. So many people... So many swirling emotions... It was overwhelming. There were certain things that came with a large collection of people. Certain smells, certain sounds, a certain tenseness in the air. For Kazuki, that last was multiplied. Shaking it off slightly she moved to her homeroom class. Getting your schedule mailed to you was an advantage...

Willam watched the other members of the guild come and go. He was by no means the oldest here, but he certainly wasn't the youngest. He had found that the best way of surviving and maintaining one's power was to be aware of everything that was going on. Currently, that wasn't much, but that could all change in an instant.

Haiachi was always early to everything, he sat in pottery class with a peaceful expression on his face as the teacher began rattling off the true meaning of art and all it's complexities. He love art, he'd taken many classes so far, but this was his first pottery class. Before he'd only done painting and drawing, this would be a fun new thing to learn, another outlet for his creativity. His baseball teammates had no idea he'd joined this class, they'd have been too thick headed to understand it's beauty and likely have called him gay, unless he told them he'd joined for a girl.

The class was coming along swimmingly until they heard the sound of running footsteps from down the hall. "Someone's late." He muttered to himself.

----------------------------

Eiko sat at the back corner of class as usual, hidden from all the people, and as usual, the chairs directly in front of and to the right of her were empty. People didn't like talking to her, she was the creepy temperamental girl, she scared them, and not on purpose.

She sighed and looked out the window at the beautiful sunny day out there. She wanted to leave, to play in the sun, but the teacher had taken to putting locks on the windows after the first several times she'd jump out of them and onto the ledge of the second story of the school. She'd escaped many times that way, but she wasn't about to break the window. She leaned forward and began doodling on her paper it wasn't pretty, but she didn't care.

Kyra walked into her homeroom class and was upset to find that there was only one seat left in the room. It was in the back, on the right-hand side of someone else. She took a deep breath and walked her way in front of the class to sit at the back, but the teacher called her name. Kyra cringed as she turned her head to look at the teacher. "Yes?" Kyra said in as polite a way as she could manage.

"You're late! Kyra Silvaen." The teacher said with disgust. "Not a good way to start the year. "Now go take your seat!"

Kyra hung her head as she went and took her seat next to the girl who was now doodling on her paper. Kyra didn't know her too well, but she did know that most of the other students in the school didn't like her. They thought she was weird. Kyra wasn't one to stereotype someone she hardly knew. "You really should at least try to pay attention or-"

"Kyra! Stop talking!" The teacher snapped. "Eiko! Stop doodling and pay attention, class is starting!"

Kyra cringed. She had only been whispering, but the teacher had still heard her. She made a face and took out one of her notebooks.

"Unlike your other teachers, who will be cutting you some slack, since it's your first day back, I intend for your lessons to be ahead of schedule. SO! Be prepared, we begin... NOW!" The teacher said loudly, cutting off Kyra's train of thought.

Cee ran, he finally spotted the door of the little studio that he wanted. Tie seemed to slow for a minute as he rushed to the door. He entered just as the bell hit 9:35...

"Phew.." He almost sagged in relief, but he managed to get his feet to a seat. He sat down next to another boy heavily, exhausted from his all out sprint. It wasn't that he was in good shape, cause he was, It was more the panic that had him in stitches.

The teacher merely raised an eyebrow and went on.

"roll call, please, it will help me get to know everyone's names. Daren Adrick?" the teacher called as he went down the list.

"Haiachi Cicerio?" the teacher called next... He went on.... "Cecil Laurance"... Cee grimaced at his full name.

"People call me Cee sir...." he pointed out hurriedly.

Jay had zoomed past Cee in the halls and managed to make it into his class two minutes early, the teacher looked up from his desk when Jay entered, giving him a friendly smile, "good morning sir, please take your seat." Jay looked around the room, all the chairs were full except two, both next to each other, Jay knew in his mind that he'd have someone sitting next to him, he didn't like that. "Please, take your seat Mr..." the teacher looked at his list of students, "Smith, I assume" Jay scoffed, "yeah, whatever..."he walked over and sat down in his chair. Taking off his backpack and hanging it off the back of his chair, Jay removed his gloves and placed them in his pocket, ready to work. The Teacher smiled and waited for his last student to show up.

When Cee entered the room, tired from all his running and sat down in the only free chair by Jay, he gave Cee a small glare and looked away, "great, its that kid... this is gonna be a long year." The teacher began roll call, when Cee corrected the teacher he let out a small chuckle, but then his name came up next, "Jacob Smith?" The teacher looked over at him, he seemed annoyed of his attitude, "just call me Jay, teach..." Jay said, smirking, but the teacher ignored the smirk and continued roll call. Jay leaned back in his chair as he waited for class to officially start, he looked over at Cee, Jay didn't know why, but he seemed different than the other students. Cee had a certain presence about him, just like Jay, unlike any of the others, it peaked his curiosity, he managed to smirk, feeling a little happy. He continued waiting for class to start afterwards.

((oops forget to post my bad girl!))

Leyla practively oozed feminine as she leaned down to look over Omi. She took an olive from his new drink and sucked on it playfully with her tounge.

"Are they boring you Omi? They do tend to talk a bit too much when they should be acting." She gave a playful stare at the other members gathered there.

"We should be out gathering instead of plotting about it, I personally have some good trackers following a few leads. I wonder how well the rest of the guild is doing." She said it casually but their was venom behind it.An accusation that the five were not doing well in their role.

_~Link~_ 09-14-2009 06:38 PM

Omi looked at her interestingly when she took his olive, but he didn't let himself get suckered in too easily, he knew her betraying ways, he started to think twice about trusting her. "Yes, I agree with you on that... But I know better than to trust one the likes of you, go cheat someone else." Omi gave her a short glare then laid back in his chair again, knowing her past actions has made it impossible for her to earn any sort of trust, Omi was too smart for that. He quickly drank down his martini and placed the cup back on the platter, "thank you Jeeves, that will be all." He said to his butler, then he leaned to the right in his chair, looking bored, Jeeves bowed and left the room.

Haiachi merely raised his hand with a crisp, "Hai." as his name was called. The teachers didn't tend to like him speaking in Japanese, but he had to keep in practice. There were three different languages spoken in his house and he had to keep up on all of them. His mother and her grand-parents usually spoke in Japanese, his father tended to speak in Italian mostly in business setting and English was used when in the company of those who couldn't speak either of the first two. He loved all the languages of coarse and his classmates thought it cool that he could speak so many. Girls especially loved when he spoke in Italian, they thought it romantic, but he was usually too nervous around girls to show it off, unless in a crowd.

He glanced at the two late ones with a faint smirk and offered a polite nod to each one. They likely knew who he was, he was on just about every sports team, from football, to baseball, to basketball, he was even the captain of the baseball team. He was also the Recreation representative in the school committee and threw awesome parties at his own private beach house given to him by his father as a birthday gift.. So even people who didn't know him personally, knew him from a distance at least.

-------------------------------

"You really should at least try to pay attention or-"

Eiko looked over as she was spoken to by the student next to her; she was about to say something just as the teacher snapped at her and she immediately put her pencil down. She didn't even attempt to retort at the teacher just sighed and turned to look out the window as class started up. Oh how she just wanted to go outside. It was nice day.

As soon as class ended she gathered her things and began out the door, she had English class next, one of the few classes she actually liked. They were to turn in thier book reports and short stories that were thier over the summer homework. Seh was excited to turn them in, the teacher always liked her work.

Silverbeam 09-24-2009 11:29 PM

Leyla glared back at Omi. finally she couldn't take it. She stuck her tongue out at him and stomped out of the room. If they didn't want her resources then she would just reap the benefits herself. She left whipping her phone and keys out at the same time. She speed dialed her personal assistant. he was more spy then assistant. he had connections and ways that even surprised her occasionally. That and his hands were soooo talented. She demanded an update from him as she climbed into her Porsche. She need a good fast drive to make her better. She like the power that the car gave. Anything of such power in her control always made her sigh in bliss.

Cee peered over at his new seat mates. he offered a quiet hello to a boy that seemed familiar. He blushed at the one that had probably chuckled at him. He had seen him somewhere...He thought pondering until his face lit up in recognition. he had seen him at the group sporting event meets. He seemed to do just about everything, and he was good at it all.

The one who had laughed when he gave his nickname was alos familiar. but not in his looks. He was sure he had never seen the boy before, but something else seemed.... Familiar.

Martel Irasia 09-25-2009 03:39 PM

Kyra finally got out of class when she looked at her schedule. She had English next. Oh how she despised that class. She let out a sigh as she made her way to the classroom, taking the time to find her notebooks in her bag. She walked into class and saw that Eiko girl again. Kyra tilted her head to the side and decided, why not sit next to her again? It hadn't been so bad in the first class.

Kyra took a seat next to the girl and smiled. "I'm Kyra." She said as she held out her hand for a handshake. Unsure of whether the girl would even shake her hand at all, she at least wanted to be friendly. She wasn't the kind of person to judge or hate anyone. Especially not because everyone else didn't like them. Let everyone else have their own opinions. She personally liked having as many friends as possible, no matter who the person was.

Loki sighed as his mother pushed him out of the black limousine. He heard her mutter something about having a good time at the college, but it was lost to him. He knew that she didn't really care. She had brought him to the campus late, after forcefully shoving all his medications down his throat. So he was considerably calm and laid back now, but it wouldn't last all day. And he was going to make his mother's life hell when he got home. He smirked at the thought as he checked his watch and his schedule.

"Oh dear. I'm late for pottery class." He said in a very calm, down-to-earth voice. He smiled. "Time to get going." He walked across campus and showed up at the class more than twenty minutes late.

"Mr. McKale, you're late!" The teacher growled. Loki simply smiled half-heartedly as he walked into the class and took a seat. "Care to explain yourself?" Loki smiled.

"Oh sure thing Teach." He said, his voice possessed a very distinctly Irish accent to it. "Well, first of all, me mum had a tiff wit me pa this morn, then she had to shove me meds down me throat. And then the drive took at least twelve min." Loki said as he shrugged his shoulders. He hardly cared that he made note of the fact that he took medication. "I think that about explains it."

(OOC Note: Loki does NOT always talk this way... Only to the teachers that annoy him, so he does it to annoy them back. ^ ^ )
