"Yay cake!" Kurio exclaimed from behind the two cat boys.

Kliff cat crawled in his skirt and transformed, "There are reasons to wear a skirt," He swung his hips. Kliff then walked over to the girl Zake had made the cake for.
"Do you like my friends cake?" "Of course she does it's delicious." He cooed back. |
Talris woke up the next morning and hopped up out of his bed, yawning slightly. It had been a long time since he had slept that well and now he was starving. He walked over and opened the window to let in some fresh air, and maybe a few animals before heading down the stairs for some breakfast.

Sy sat in a winged back chair by the fireplace. She looked up at the painting and, for the first time in years, smiled. Using magic, she pulled a few licks of fire out of the fireplace, and started forming shapes as it danced between her hands. "When you're here your family..." she whispered.

"That's a neat little trick you've got there." Talris said with a yawn, walking silently up to the tavern owner and watching the little fire dance between her fingers. "It must take quite a bit of skill to control something as powerful as fire." He pulled up a stool to the bar as the spider from the day before dropped back into his hair.

tabitha hopped down the stairs two at a time she loved how graceful she could be, she saw the boy from before and the inn owner, she saw the fire and her eyes glittered with curiousity but she stayed where she was.

"Not really Talris." Sy shrugged and smiled. "When I was a kid, my mum taught me. It took me a week to figure out how to keep the fire under control." She turned the fire into a bunny that hopped over to Talris, and jumped from the floor to a bar stool, to the bar. The flamming bunny made short hops over to him.

"And you can shape it too?" He held his hand out to the rabbit and a small twister formed on his palm. "Can't really do much shaping with wind." He mumbled, blowing the small twister into the fire rabbit causing it to double in size. "But it sure does make good food for fire."

Tabitha watched in amazement as the woman turned the fire into a rabbit, she stepped alittle closer her eyes glittering like rubies held up to the light. her ears pricked and her tail lashed. 'this is cool' she thought. then she stopped afraid to come closer.

Sy laughed. "Thats still really cool." The bunny did a mock of Godzilla and started hunting down some glasses. "The only things I can manipulate is fire, and flowers. And my own image of course."

"Shapeshifting huh? Boy, I can think a a whole bunch of times that would come in handy." He smiled thoughtfully as he thought about how easy it would be to avoid debt collectors if he could change his face at will. "So, how about we have that drink?" He said, plucking the spider out of his hair and sending it scuttling across the floor.

Sy nodded, and made the bunny vanish. She walked behind the bar. "Whatcha want?" She asked. "I'm a Succubus, so form-changing is just a survival tool. What guy, or girl, doesn't want to screw their dream lover?" She smirked.

Tabitha huffed alittle when the bunny dissappeared and then decided it was safe enough to walk out. she didnt know what to do and found herself standing in the middle of the front room again, "deja vu" she muttered.

Sy looked over "Hullo, what can I do for you?" She smiled warmly.

Tabitha jumped alittle, "oh um i-i dont need anything right now" she stammered.

Sy looked up and down the girl. "Alright, but if you want anything just ask. I don't bite... at least not unless you want me too."

Talris smiled a little at the nervous girl that had what into the room. "I'll just take a glass of whatever you have on tap." He said to Sy when she asked what he wanted. Looking down, he noticed that the little spider had come crawling back so he reached his hand down and let it crawl up his arm again.

Tabitha looked around her tail quivered slightly. she didnt know what was making her so nervous.

Sy nodded, and poured him a whiskey-coke mix. "That lil' spider seems entranced by you."

Talris took a swig of the drink and placed the spider back in his mop of hair. "Yeah, him and every other animal on this planet." He said with a slight laugh.

Tabitha looked at the door, 'hmm perhaps i can find a mouse or two' her ears perked up and she started slinking towards the door she could already ear the little heartbeats.

* There is a quiet "poof" sound and Tabitha feels a tap on her shoulder. *

Tabitha just about screamed when she felt a tap on her shoulder, her tail fluffed out. turning she saw it was a boy, "oh uh hello"

*Cal was standing there, smiling warmly* "Hey you. I've noticed you standing around for a while, I guess everyone was kind of busy. You look like you could use a friend." *he holds out his hand for a handshake* "I'm Cal."

Tabithas eyes glitter slightly, "im tabitha" she took his hand with her small pale one. she smiled back at him, "thank you, i supose i could use a friend"
