She smiled. "Well. I really needed that dip in the hot spring yesterday." She took a long sip of coffee, then grimaced. "I'm going to need to wash that down." She started making herself a Hot Cocoa. "Had a little sleep trouble, but nothing unusual for me. I don't sleep well anymore, not after......" she trailed off, not wanting to think about it anymore. "Anyway, other then that just fine. How about you?" She glanced at where Sy sat, then smiled mischievously as she looked back at Keseiko. "Sleep well?"

"It was one of my first defenseless nights in a long time. It's hard to relax when you sleep on the road, but in her arms my body relaxes quite well." A small smile was on my lips, "How can you drink that hot stuff?"

Anora grinned. "I'm from Valhalla, in the North. It's winter eleven of the twelve months up there. I'll take warmth wherever I can get it. It's not as cold down here though, so I suppose now I just drink if because I like it." She sipped the Cocoa, and sighed. "Ah, that's the stuff. Besides, you don't have to drink it hot. You could let it cool of, till it's just warm. I know a lot of people tend to burn their tongues drinking it, but that's just because they aren't used to it." She set her glass down and smiled. "Want me to make you some that's not as hot?"

I glared at her cup, "I dunno. My birthplace was in a cold place but I have my own personal fur coat to keep me warm."

She shrugged. "Well, you obviouly haven't had Hot Cocoa or Hot Apple Cider or anything like that for breakfast and lunch every day." She picked her back up, took a sip, then set it back down with a smile. "That's what you should try. I think I'll have a glass of that myself."
She turned around and started warming up some apple cider. |
When Naida heard that Caleb went back to bed. She quickly went out of the room after with a whoosh of her hand her hair was dry. She walked out of the restroom and quietly looked for clothes within her bag which she collected the other day where she use to be frozen she was glad then it was still there when she searched for it. she fumbled the bag and out came a ancient looking box. As she struggled to open the box and a pendant in shape a tear drop the color of Naida's eyes. She remember her dream and saw that this was a necklace that Erato was wearing. "How strange...." Naida whispered.

((Sorry for poofing out on you guys -haha- but I totally lost track of time and had around five seconds to come up with something to make my character disappear for a little while. Let me see if I can make ends meet >.<))
Salvanis fell against the cold stone wall and when he smoke finally cleared, he smacked himself in the forehead. "I need to sleep more often." he grumbled. One of the few magics that his previous commanding officers had left him leave Heaven with was a transportation spell. The only downside was that the spell was set to only transport Salvanis to the last place he had at least five hours of sleep. This cave was that place. "I have to be at least a three days walk from the inn." he sighed. Then he remembered the second magic he had been left with. A counter-spell. It reversed the most recent spell he casted. He could simply reverse the transportation spell and return to the inn. "I'm going to look like such a tired idiot." he said, stepping away from the wall and concentrating his thoughts. The smoke slowly enveloped him this time and Salvanis could feel the pull of the magic. Suddenly, he found himself at the doorway of the inn. Both the cat-woman with black-tipped ears and the young woman behind the bar. Tiredly, Salvanis walked over to the bar. He saw the note that was left behind. A sort of default attached to the spell. "Um, sorry about that." he said, laying his head on his arms which were now crossed on the bar. He felt quite embarrassed. |
Caleb's eyes open as he heard the box fumble onto the floor, sitting up he turned a deep red as he saw a naked Naida looking at a pendant. Averting his eyes to the wall he mumbled. "Um..Naida..." He wanted to make her realize she was still naked. |
Naida was startled to see Caleb there for a moment she had forgetten about him for a minute after looking at the pendant. "Yes?" Naida asked putting the pendant down and put on a black long tunic that was on the side of the floor.

Caleb heard her slide on clothing and turned back to her, he then noticed her staring at the pendant. Slowly getting out of bed he asked softly "Whats that...?" He knelt next to the pendant and looked at it. |
Anora smiled. "A little teleportation problems, dear?" She set down two apple ciders, one for Keseiko and one for Salvanis. "Here, drink this, it should help you feel a little better." She turned and started working on another for herself. "So, I take it you'll be wanting that room still?" She turned around and handed him a key. "There you go."

I sniffed the drink, it smelled like apples and I could feel the heat coming from the drink. Looking up at Anora I stared at her questioningly, ears twitching.

Naida looked at Caleb "um i dont know..." Naida said with a worried look "Lately i have had theses dream about a man and a nymph. They say something with a different but familiar language. They look at me tenderly.... The nymph was bathing with me she only had this pendant on..." Naida explained "i dont know what they mean but they look familiar as if i know them... but my head doesn't let me remember.."

Salvanis smiled at the girl, "Um yeah. Being fallen sadly didn't come with a manual. Thanks." he took the cider and inhaled. Just the steam coming off it was enough.
When the girl asked him about the the room and nodded, "Yes, a room would be wonderful. Then next time I teleport I'll end up in this lovely place. It's much preferred to the cave..." he shook his head and sipped carefully at the cider. Keseiko's reaction to the drink was amusing. "Never had apple cider before?" Salvanis asked, taking another small with from his mug. |
She sighed. "It's hot Apple Cider. It's good, I promise. Try some, but be careful, it's hot." She finished making herself a cup, and sipped at it. She glanced at Salvanis, smiling jokingly. "Just gonna sniff at it, are you?"

I stared down the cup of hot liquid, "This inn is the first place I've ever had something humanoids make." Blowing down the cup, I stuck my fingertip in the gauge the temperature before sipping it. Licking my lips I took another sip.

Caleb let his fingertip glide over the pendent and for somereason his empathy picked up parental and motherly feelings. "Your parents...?" He whispered to himself, not knowing why. His eyes looked up at the nymph and he said aloud. "Maybe it was your mothers?" |
Salvanis chuckled, "No, it just needs to cool down." and he took a cautious sip at the sweet drink.
"I just realized," he started, looking up from his drink, "I don't know your name yet." and he looked up at the girl behind the counter. "I'd be nice to thank the young lady who made be both coffee and cider by her name," he gave her a warm smile. |
Naida's eyes went wide when she heard Caleb say that it might be her parents. "but that's im...impossible... I don't remember" Naida said touching her head. "But that would make sense...."

She bowed a little. "Anora, Valhallan Knight, and Ex-general of the Order of Odin." She straightened. "A pleasure." She smiled at Kiseiko. "Like it?"

Caleb watched Naida's reaction and smiled, feeling he had actually done something right. Picking it up he placed it gracefully around the girls neck, holding her hand to let her feel the maternal feelings from the pendant. "See..?" He smiled, his golden eyes glowing at the finding of a key to her past. |
Glancing up at her, I put down the cup, "It tastes like apples." My tail swished around happily and I let out a soft purr as I took another sip.

Naida felt the feelings from the pendant. the feelings of love radiating from the pendant. Tears of happiness dropped from her face and to dripped to the pendant. And the pendant began to glow.

Caleb's mouth opened with slight shock as he watched the pendant come to light and start to glow. "Naida..." He whispered, wondering what it meant, but being captivated by the beauty. |
"Anora," Salvanis repeated, "Wonderful name." he said with a smile.
Kiseko had finally tasted her cider and from the sound of things, she liked it. Salvanis chuckled lightly and turned back to Anora, "Tell me, how did you come to be an "ex" general? It doesn't sound like a position one would willingly give up." he asked, taking another sip at his cider now that it had cooled down. ((Pardon me if what Salvanis is asking something otherwise widely known. If it is, tell me and I'll edit :oops:)) |
