aslaina follows the direction her savior is looking,"oh dear, looks as though i owe more than i thought." she walks up to the bar and says, " excuse me but i'd like to work for you in return for a replacement on my friends hot choco." she smiles, "that's the only payment i wish for please."

Anora shakes her head. "I couldn't ask you to do that. Tell you what, how about you just owe me one. I never know when I might need a friend to help me out, ya know," she says, smiling at Aslaina.

she smiles back and extends her hand," its a deal... 'friends'?"

Anora holds out her hand, stops short for a second, then nods and shakes her hand confidently. "Friends it is." She turns to the bar again. "Sy, Could I get another Hot Chocolate?"
She turns back to Aslaina. "You want anything? It's on me," she says as she walks over and sits on one of the Bar Stools, pushing one out for Aslaina as well. |
she looks at sy,"red wine if you have it... and some grilled cheese if thats alright."

Anora sipped her Hot Chocolate for a while, enjoying Aslaina's company. After she finished her hot Chocolate, she bid her a good night and turned in early.

Sy grabs the ordered drinks, and whips up a grilled cheese. "Sorry about that." She blushed. "Um, I don't really have anyone under employment. When you're here your family. It's a matter of wanting to help out every now and then. Like the boys, they occasionally clean or grab fire wood. Besides no payment is necessary at all." Sy smiled.

Kliff pushed open the door, "Hello ladies isn't he just adorable." He giggled, and sat Zake down on a stool. he pouted at the sight of Zakes glare and then leaned over and kissed the boys cheeks. HE then laughed and ran out the door before he could respond. "More wood more wood."
Zake was red and unable to mocve, "Sy what just happened," He was so lost and adorable. |
Alana chuckled some "So I see. It looks like everyone fits right in and just hangs out." She smiled at the bartender " I might rest up here for a week or to. Its been a long trip. Do you have the extra room?"

Sy laughed. "I'm not sure Zake!"
She turned back to Alana. "Of course. My names Sybella by the way. Sy for short." she handed her a key and the clipboard. "This place is like magic, we never run out of rooms. Just sign your name here." |
Alana grinned and signed her name on the clipboard taking the key. "Thanks a lot sy." She stood up and stretched her body out. " Man Im tired a nice nap sounds good. Whats the room number?"

Tabitha stood in the middle of the path leading to the inn, "hmmm...this looks....interesting" gathering up her courage she walked through the door "hello?"

Kliff returned right behind Tabitha and said, "Hi little lady, what can we do for you?" He looked taller cause he was standing straight carrying two piles of wood. (one in either arm, above his head. he may look scrawny but he isn't).
Zake had no disire to see Kliff right then so he turned to Sy and asked, "Hey Sy mind if i go do some cooking i'm pretty good at it?" |
No problem my, dear. Room 16 is all yours." Sy turned when she heard a new voice, and noticed that Kliff had her taken care of. "Sure Zake, if you want to." She reached over to ruffle his hair, smiling as she does so.

At that, Zake bolted to the cafe.

Sy frowned when Zake ran. She looked over to Kliff, and mouthed. 'Whats wrong with him?'. Worried, she walked into the kitchen after him. Pausing in the doorway, she summoned a single yellow rose. "Zake, rose for your thoughts?" she handed him the 'friendship' rose.

Kliff sighed hoping a woman could help his pubesent friend.
"Sy i feel all funny inside and i cant figure out why i know i like girls but when Zake kissed me i don't know I'm so lost now. He is my friend and i love him like a friend right?" He was furiously throwing together some pretty good looking french toast batter. |
* Lively footsteps clop lightly up along the cobbled footpath. A young man glances interestedly at the sign *
"So, 'Phoenix Inn', huh? Sounds interesting..." *Adjusts backpack* "I'll take a look." * The door swings open, and Cal strolls in * "Hey, Innkeep, I'm looking for a drink and a bed, got anything in stock?" *wink, smile* |
"Oh, Zake!" Sy hugged the boy. "I know you've always spurned Kliff's advances, but maybe you should give him a shot. It may help you understand if your rebuffs are justified." She heard the door open, and hoped that Kliff would get it. "Maybe, you're right, maybe you don't care for him any more than a friend. But you'll never know unless you explore your feelings. And who's to say you can't like guys and girls?" Sy winked. "I have no problems with that. But then again, beggers can't be choosers when your starving." She set the yellow rose on the counter next to him, with a moss rosebud beneath it's long stem. "Yellow for friendship, Moss bud for a declaration of love. It's your choice sweetie." she left him

"...Innkeep?" *looks around* "Anybody here?"

"Sorry about that, I was dealing with something." Sy walked up to the new male. "I'm Sybella, Sy for short. How may I help you?" She flashed him a movie star smile, as she flipped her long red hair off her shoulder.

Kliff ran over to the new boy, "Hey there now what can i do for you?" He was to preoccupied with his love distress in the back to really notice.
Zake looked at the flower and moss, "Which one do i really think is right?" he sat waiting for someone to order something looking at the moss bud. |
"Kliff, I think i have this. I just talked to Zake, and maybe you should stop and really think for a second." She gently told him, keeping her voice soft. "I think you both need to stop for a moment and think about things."

"Hey, how's it goin'? I'll have, uh, I dunno, what kinds of drinks do you have here?"

Sy led the new guy to the bar. "You name it, I can make it. So whats your name?" She asked.
