Satin smiled at Alexander evily and then glanced at Selene. "Now I know what triggures your powers. Satin said and thrust his hands threw the bars of Selene's cage and grabbed her throat. He smiled at the reaction he got out of Alexander. "Selene, Selene, Selene. You just keep getting more and more usefull don't you?" he taugnted. He threw her against the other wall of bars and she tried getting up but couldn't hold herself and fell. "Please... Leave us alone...." Selene whispered and Satin looked at Alexander angerily. "Look at what you have done! You've tortured her! Poisoned her mind! You monster!" Satin said his words seeping into everything.

"I have done nothing, just opend her eyes." he growled, his teeth had changed to canine fangs when he had hurt selene. "and I am no monster, you are." he growled and fixed his merderous glare at Satin, he was ready to protect himself if satin attacke.d "now let her go or else I will make you." and you could tell that he ment it, every single word.

Satin laughed and began to leave and as he did electricity flashed in Selene's cage and Alexander's cage. He looked at them and shook his head and left the huge ebony doors slamming behind. Selene layed motionless on the ground until the shocks stopped. "I have to get you out of here... He'll bind you to him..." she whispered and grabbed the bars and bursted into flames and channeled it towards the bars. She was thrown back by the electricity but she did it again trying to break free and save Alexander and didn't care how much she was hurting herself as long as he got away.

Alexander shook his head and touched the bars of his own cage, the seemed to break easly under his grip and nothing fased him. "no, you have to get out of here. You dont deserve this torture, I do. " he said as walked over to her cage. He looked less like a saved and less like a damned, soemthing inbetween. "I need to get you out of here, dont care about me I amd what he says even though I deny it, I am a monster." he said as he grabed onto her cages bars and started to pull them apart.

Selene stared at him and thought of how to get him out of here. "Why are you trying to save me? There's nothing you can do. Even if we get away eventually Satin will come for me. He will kill me if he has to.... So he can keep me from being turned... But I'm mearly a weapon... What am I to you? I weapon too?! Or some girl you want for your own perposes?!" she asked angerly and stayed in the cage and refused to move without an answer.

Alexander sighed and looked at her. "no your not a weapon or just some girl to me." he said as he looked at her, his eyes turned back into the crystal blue they where. "and your not just mearly a weapon, your a amazing woman who is like no other I have met in my years of living, your speacial and I want to help you because I dont want you to suffer anymore. You are someone who is specail to me for some odd reason and I can't sit back and know that your suffering, you deserve better and I am going to help you." he said as he reached out a hand to her.

Selene took his hand trusting him completely and looked around. She smiled as she spotted the secret path to her room she had created. She pulled Alexander to the wall and pulled down the candle. It gave a small screech of protest and then gave into her force. Behind a huge portrate of Satin opened up a door and Selene opened the door. A black hall was behind it and she pulled Alexander in with her and closed the door and portrate behind them. She walked quickly down the ever desending tunnel and then a small light appeared. She pushed the wall they had come upon and they stepped into her room. Beautifully painted roses covered her black walls and her bed was a beautiful white cloud in the mass of black. The room held many personal things in it. Drawings, photos, posters, and guns. Selene looked at Alexander and then turned to her beloved gun case. She grabbed at bag and packed guns and clothes. "If you see anything you need feel free and take it."

Alexander shook his head "I have everything I need, we just need to get out of here as fast as we can." he said as he leand agenst her wall and watched her. He kept a look out for anything that might come and attack them.

Selene was packed in seconds and hefted the bag over her shoulder. She looked at him and flashed one of her rare smiles and turned to leave when she remembered the one thing she forgot. She held up her fingure and raced to her pillow she lifted it and underneath was her only picture she had from her mortal life. She looked at it tears welling in her eyes and then put it her pocket. She ran back to Alexander's side and grabbed his hand. "I know the way out." she said and touched the small pendent around her neck. They appeared on the earth and she looked at him.

Alexander smiled and relaxed when he saw earth. "nice." he said as happly and his wings turned back to there pure white form. "now we either have to turn you to a saved or find a way to hid you from satin." he said as he looked at her. "which one do you like better?" he asked sicne it was her and she had a right to chose.

"Im not ready to give up these wings just yet... And I don't want to be anyones weapon for awaile... I want to be me..." she said quietly and pulled the picture out of her pocket. "I want to live and laugh and love like I ounce did." she said softly and showed Alexander the picture of her in the arms of his brother. "I almost commuted suicide... He saved me... Taught me how to smile again... And then when I thought he truely loved me... He fled when I most needed him..." she said and whiped her tears away angerily. "And I don't think I've ever loved him anyless for it...." she said and gave a small laugh. "Im so pathetic..." she said and shook her head. She threw Alexander her extra trenchcoat and pulled on one herself. "We have to cover up our wings... And your shirt isn't hding up too well..." she said and looked at him her red eyes flashing.

Alexander smiled and pulled it on. "thanks." he said happly as he looked at her. When she had cryed he wanted to whip them away and say that everything was okay, but he couldn't do it. "now come on, if you want to do all of those things we better begin." he said as he took her hand and started to walk.

Selene was surprised and then extremely happy as Alexander took her hand. As she walked she swore their hands where glowing but the glow dissappeared as soon as she took a double take. She walked with Alexander and looked at him. Selene wondered what this ment. Did he feel something for her, or was he like his brother leading her on until he grew tired of her or fled? Either way she didn't care. He was here, he was now, and that's all she needed.

Alexander smiled at her after a while. "so where do you want to go?" he asked happly. "this is your life, I am just here to enjoy it with you. So tell me where you want to go?" he said as he looked at her happly. He was nothing like his brother and he wondered why his brother fled. She had to be the most worthy person he had met to protect, he was unworthy to protect her almost. He knew that he had soemthing for her, from teh moment he layed his eyes on her he knew that he had to be at her side and protect her.

Selene blushed at the attention she was getting and smiled. It was so odd smiling. She hadn't smiled sense she had been bound to Satin's will. "I don't know... I've truely never been to the mall... I've watched human couples go there though... They always look happy..." she said suddily hinting at the couple idea. She knew that it was forbidden for her to love a saved but she couldn't deny that there was something in him that called to her. She could feel it evrytime the touched. She could see it in his eyes. She could smell it just being close to him. She was getting addicted to this unknown intoxicating drug of hers and she didn't care if it was pulling her under.

Alexander smiled when he heard the word couple. They weren't one and yet he knew that in some way they where. "sounds like a good idea to me, lets go" he said as he kept her hand and continued to walk towrds the mall. He knew that he would be giveing his wings up if any of the other saved found out...and yet he didn't care. Something aobut her just made him want to be close to her and throw everything away for her.

Selene stared in awe as they entered the mall. It was so big and so lively. All the details caught her eye and she looked around facinated. "What are these little places with different names? Is this like a market?" Selene asked and looked at a store that sold sexy clothes. "Can we go in here? Or in that one? Or that one?" she asked just so excited at being in such a different place.

Alexander chuckled as he watched her, he had been in one of these once before and it was funny to see how she acted. "we can go anywhere you want and it is sort of like a market only ten times bigger and they sell besicly everything here." he said as he looked at her and smiled happly.

"oh, this is amazing..." Selene said turning in a circle slowly taking everything in. A dress shop caught her eye and she headed for it pulling Alexander along. She walked in the store ignoring the odd looks she was getting. She looked emo and she knew it. But there was nothing wrong with being herself and she had learned just to block out those looks and whispers about her. "Oh.... I havent worn a dress in forever...." she said marveling at the beautiful dresses. She pulled a short dress off the rack and looked at it perplexed. "Are these in fashion? I've seen them all over." she asked a store clerk as she passed. She stopped and nodded smiling. "And if you ask me, this one would look great on you." she said and pulled out a black dress that was off the shoulder and had a big belt of red around the waist. "Thank you.." Selene said and took the dress from her and she walked away. Seeing Alexander's smile she blushed slightly and walked towards the dressing room. "I'll be right out..." she said and smiled at him. She dissappeared into a dressing room. she peeked out of the dressing room and said quietly,"I look weird.... Please dont laugh.." she checked if anyone else was out and the stepped out of the dressing room. The dress was tight all the way around her and the boots she was wearing already went up to her knees. "Do i look okay?"

Alexander could only smile when he saw her. She looked absolutely amazing in it and he steped forward so that he was infront of her. He gently took a piece of her hair into his hands and played with it. "you look amazing." he said as he looked at her. He could hear some of the other girls in the store growl, they had wanted him. He looked as if he should be a model with his pure white hair and his crystal blue eyes.

Selene blushed and looked into his eyes. "Really?" she asked wondering if he really ment it. SHe couldn't tell because her head was spinning with shock and happieness. Her heart was beating a mile a minute and she could feel electricity sing in her viens. She smiled at him and savored his gentle touch. His wonderful scent was intoxicating and she wondered maybe... Just maybe.... That she could fall in love again.... And only one person could make that happen.... Alexander.... And he was stealing her heart already....

Alexander smiled at her, his eyes sparkled and looked like lakes of endless care and kindness. "yes, really." he said as he continued to play with her hair and started to gently make circles on her cheek that slowly but surely turned into hearts. He never fell in love with anyone but she was different, she had already taken his heart the moment he had seen her and he knew that he had to save her from Satin.

Selene sighed and closed her eyes as Alexander traced the small heart on her cheek. She felt like her legs where going to give out beneath her beacuse of all the love she was feeling. She smiled softly and touched his hand softly her cool skin upon his warm skin. "I think I'll buy it..." she said dazed but she made no move to do so. She didnt want anything to ruin such a moment like this.

Alexander smiled as saw her close her eyes. He then leand forward and kissed her forhead gently. "already paid for." he had paid for it while she had been in there because he knew that she would have looked beatuifull in anything. He kept his face close to hers, wanting ot stay like thing and could hear more girls growl when they saw him like this. They probably thought that it wans't fair that a emo girl like her was getting a man that could not be of this world.

"You didn't have to do that.." she whispered tilting her head up to look at him. Her breath gently caressed his face and slowly got closer to him unconsiously. She smiled at him and hesitantly wrapped her around arms around him. "Why me?..." she whispered.
