She opened her eyes and heard him humming. She watched the shadows of the fire dance and smiled.

Ivan smiled and kissed her head "you need to sleep"

She shook her head and yawned.
"I can't." She whispered. |
Ivan sighed and nodded, understanding why. He then kissed her head and kept her close.

She yawned and continued to watch the fire.

Ivan smield and started to hum a old song there parents use to sing to them.

She raised an eyebrow.
"Why would my own mother want to kill me?" |
Ivan sighed "she probabaly thought that it was for the best just like mine, but they where wrong." he said as he kissed her head.

She shook her head.
"You mean are?" |
Ivan sighed and nodded "yes your right, are" he said softly

She shook her head.
"I still don't get it." |
"we scare them for what we are able to do, they dont understand us." he said softly

She nodded.
"But we wouldn't hurt them unless we had to." |
"but they dont know that, they think that we will from storys that they have heard over the years." he said and kissed her head.

She smiled.
"Yeah..." |
"hopefully one day they will understand that we aren't killers." he said softly

She just shrugged and fell asleep

Ivan smiled when she finally fell asleep and kissed her head.

She was breathing heavy, but not snoring. Her mouth was wide open as she slept.

Ivan chuckled when he saw her face and kissed her head again.

She woke up and stretched. When she did, she fell onto the ground.

Ivan gently helped her to her feet. "you okay?"
|
She laughed at herself.
"Yeah, I'm fine." |
Ivan smiled and kissed her head "good"

Suddenly, a flaming arrow came straight at her head, but she ducked right in time.
