The Assassin

Name: Lucain Ishakova

Occupation: Assassin
Special Abilities: Very quick and agile; Intelligent and witty, and knows how to use almost any weapon with perfection. His name is feared but only whispered. It is said that if your on his hit list, you can expect to die. Your hope is lost.
Weaknesses: Sweet things, beautiful women, and taking bribes.
Short Background: Lucain, also known as Luke was actually raised to be a knight. That is, until his family was brutally killed in a fire and he was the only one left. He was only 15 at the time, but he had a sharp mind and the training his father was giving him. He was hungry and needed money so he went to the only life he knew he could live - First a thief, and then an assassin. At 19, his name became known, and he stopped living on the streets. He was able to buy things he couldn't before, and spent all his time training and growing "connections". Now, he is currently living in small inn, and preparing to take on his next assignment - Kill the princess.

The Princess


Name: Lilly Pendragon
Age: 20
Special Abilites: Can charm almost any guy if she wants to and can defend herself if she has to. She is very good with a bow and can sing beautiful songs.
Weakness: She always leaves the window open and the door unlocked, she also loves sweets.
Short Background: She was raised by her mother and father both equally but it was her older sister who was to become queen until she got herself killed by an assassin. Ever since that day the king and queen double the guards around the her because she was now the crown princess so to speak. She learned how to use a bow just in case she ever needed to fight, now she waits to see if an assassin will come for her.

Lucain was easing his way around the hallways of the royal castle, disguised as another servant. He had to admit, it was slightly more difficult than other gigs he put up with. He didn't really strike you as the helpless slave type. He made his way up the stairs, a stack full of towels and linens in his hands, a knife disguised within their folds.

When he reached the top of the stair case, he glanced out the window, only to find the sun was beginning to set. Excellent. He continued to walk straight ahead, only turning to go down another hallway. Making sure no one was around, he walked into a closet he had prepared earlier. Inside was his cloak and original outfit. He smuggled them in when he arrived, hiding them there. Shutting the door and quickly changing, he took a deep breath and slowly peaked his head out of the storage closet. No one was around. Things were going as planned, and he made his way towards the princess's chambers. It wasn't too far away, and he stopped outside the door, unsure if she was inside or not.

How was he going to go about doing this? Hmm.. Lie. He patted his cloak and made sure every weapon was concealed, including his sword. Then, he raised a long arm and rapped on the door, waiting for the young girl to open the doorway to death.

Lilly was in her room but so was a guard that she liked talking with. She was telling him about her day and that she had gotten better with the bow her father had given her. She was wearing a smiple white dress and hand her hair down so that she looked quite beautiful in the moonlight that came through the open window. She heard the knock on the door and was about to get up but the guard stopped her and shook his head, meaning that something wasn't right here.

He got up and went to the door as Lilly went to her bed and quietly got in it to act as if she was sleeping. Once the Guard was sure that Lilly looked as if she was sleeping quietly then he opened the door. "I'm sorry but if you have business with the princess it will have to wait until morning." He said as he looked over the man, not recongizing him from the other staff. He knew that it was best to call the rest of the guards and he did so by shouting "Intruder at the princess's room." And within 10 minutes all of the other guards were there, blocking the exit routes.

This man was going to be arrested and executed unless Lilly stopped them. Lilly got out of bed and walked over to the guard before saying "Instead of killing him let my father make him my bodyguard." She then turned and went back to her bed, knowing that the guards would tell her father this.

The last thing Lucain expected were guards inside her chambers. Outside, sure, inside, no. But he underestimated the security and it nearly cost him his life. When did he get so reckless?

Despite the princess offering to take him in as a knight, that didn't stop him from getting every piece of weaponry and nice article of clothing being taken away from him. Now, he was sitting inside the dungeon, waiting for day break in nothing but a ragged pair of trousers. Ridiculous. He felt like a peasant again and no matter what he said to the guards, they wouldn't unlock the door. Even though it made sense, it still irked Lucain. Seriously though, he was found outside the princess's door with a finely crafted sword, 8 different daggers, 3 vile of poison, and a bow and arrow. He wasn't exactly showing a perfect first impression...

He must have dozed in and out until finally a guard came and got him. "C'mon." The rough guy ordered, eying Lucian up and down with a calculating expression. Then he scoffed, "The princess wants you to be her new guard?" Shaking his head in disappointment, he threw a black and silver outfit through the bars. "Get dressed, and we'll go see the royal family."

Quickly getting dressed, the man unlocked the door, and Lucain fought back the urge to try and kill him. It was too risky. He needed to buy his time... Soon, they left the dungeon and entered a huge hall. It was definitely around noon when they stopped in front of a door. "Go on. Knock." The man urged, with a nod.

Taking a deep breath, the prince raised his arm and rapped on the polished wood. The royal family was inside, or at least he was guessing. He was going to have to explain himself, he assumed. Why the princess would allow a random guy become her guard was beyond him...

Lilly was sitting in her chair glad that her father had agreed with her once again. When the door was rapped on the two guards near the door opened it and the king said "Enter." as soon as Jaffar was inside they were closed again. The king looked him over as so did the queen before they decided what to ask or say to him. "First you will need to explain why you tried to kill my daughter, young man and then we will decide your fate." The king was in his mid to late 40's and the same with the queen. The only one that wasn't there was the prince but he was out hunting so it was allowed.

Lilly watched Jaffar, knowing the reason she wanted him to become her body guard wasn't because of his looks but the fact that he would more that likely hate it. She liked to see people that tried to hurt others suffer in more ways than one, death was too quick in her mind. She also knew that he had many weapons with him so she was sure that he was more than skilled to do the job.
