The day was cloudy, and Tatiana stared out the windows of Diane's, the restaurant she worked at. She was thinking of the business she'd just opened. First day, yesterday, and yet only a grouchy old lady and her apologetic daughter came in, to gripe at today's crazy fashions. Tatiana, or Tati as she was called through her high school and college years, couldn't help but worry if her shop would ever compare to the bigger brands. The loan she'd cosigned with her father couldn't go to waste... It would be terrible... And yet, she knew most new businesses failed within the first two years. She was suddenly interrupted by a few customers coming in the door. She silently scolded herself, and seated them at a table.
