Yukina sighed as she walked down the street.She had detention again and it was late, and dark out.It wasnt like anyone would weorry if she was late,no one was aroud to do so.Her parents disapeared two years ago.

Yukina blinked hearing the sound of and Axe.Looking around she flllowed the sound."hello?",she called out nervously.

Vincent was walking home from the store when he saw Yukina walking down the same way he was. Vincent joged up to her "Hey you know its late? there are alot of freaks out at this time of night." Vincent had never been realy smooth...ever.

Yukina jumped looking at him."y-yeah i knwo,i would have gotten inside way earlyer but ,uh got another detention at my school",she said with a smile.

Vincent was surprised that hadn't made the girl suspisios of him to begin with. "Well how about we walk together, I'm going that way any way." Vincent said pionting down the streat.

Yukina blinked and smiled."s-sure thank you"

Vincent had only gon to gett a new BBQ fork and a galon of milk in a glass botle when he had gon to the store. Vincent ment no harm to the girl but he was shure that this girl was on gard because of him so he cept a good distence away wile they walked. they soon came opon a sloching figure standing in the middle of the midle of the streat. Vincent didnt give it a second thought...untill a car hit the man at full spead and scidded to a stop. "Oh no!" Vincent ran twords the man that had bean hit as the car driver got out and faloed. "Is he ok, I swear I didn't see him!"

Yukina ahsped and ran over t the man as well.Loking at him worried.

Vincent couldnt beleave the state of the body that lay before him. "This man is sick! Posably life thretening!" Vincent checked for a puls and closed his eyes. "What ever it was he wont have to wory about it any more." The car driver , a tall mutkular man in his thertys was freaked. Vincent turned on him. "Well what are you waiting for? Call 911."

YUkina shivered.She didnt like this looking around she got a creepy feeling. Thier were moaning sounds comeing from everwhere.What was going on?

The man go out his sellphone and dailed the number. vincent turned and put his hand out to Yukina. "This sucks but at least I met somone new right? My name is..." Vincent was cut off by moovement behind him. The dead man had goten up and grabed onto the driver and killed him with a clean bite out of his neck. "What the!?!" Vincent steped infront of Yukina and puled out the new BBQ fork to defend with. "Gett behind me!" Vincent said to Yukina. "Look I dont want any troble just leave me alone and Ill leave you alone." Vincent ganed no responce.

Yukina gripped onto Vincints shirt,holding onto it tightly watching horor struckt.

The Man came at them and vincent thrusted the BBQ fork into his chest hard enoph to push him back onto the ground. Vincent had hit him square in the heart but he wasn't bleading and he wasn't dead. the corps got back up and came back at the two. Vincent looked around for a weapon but the thing was too close and he had no chioce. Vincent brained him with the milk botle. the corps finaly fell to the ground with the broken bottle juting out of it skull. more shambuling figures started comeing as if out of nowhere. Vincent grabed Yukina's hand and lead her down the streat. "Come on!"

Yukina held his hand as he quickly followed looking abck as they came out.

Vincent lead Yukina to a large white home and puled Yukina inside and locked the door. "Stay close." Vinvent wispered as he slowly made his way doun to the garage.

Yukina nodded as she followed."what were those things?"

Vincent opened the door to the garodge and turned on the light. "Idont know but they don't die with ease." Vincent made his way across the hard stone floor to the wall of tools. He removed the axe and the hatchet from the wall. he handed the hatchet to Yukina. "Here. hit thier heads." Vincent then started serching the home.

Yukina nodded s she follwed."what is this place anywase?"

"My home. But it won't do us to good for too long." Vincent found a gim bag and a back pack and whent to a locked door down stairs and smashed it open to reveal a closet with water botles and snack food and bateries. "We might be able to stay here for one week thats it."

Yukina blinked."welll its better then nothing",she said sighing

"That should do us untill what ever that is, blowes over." Vincent turned on the news on the big TV next to the closet. "Or not..." Vincent said as he wached the horror on the news.
