Akee kept silent as she moved about the underground city. She kept the hood on her cape well over her face so only her lips could be seen. She felt at home for once as she moved about the forgotten city by the light of the civilized world. For once she wouldn't have to be around humans. For once she could be in her and Druzells world. Here she and he where the feared and respected ones not humble kind people. Here she could be herself with no fears. Here she was among family and botheration, sisteren a like. She moved into the main hall of the underworld as she took her seat at the back of the cancel room hidden from the cancel men as the debated about the vampire politics. She lessen to the new rules for all vampires in the area and the councils new idea for new council members. He frowned as she heard a few of the members suggesting that it was time to kill all haflings and humans who where not true vampires. It felt like a stake through the heart as she heard that knowing that Rose and Decome would be the ones that by their rule along with Alice would have to die. Akee looked up as she spoke making all the cancel members jumped and turn as they began to sake at the sound of her voice. "You would dare tell me or Druzell that you will kill any of your blood line because you feel that it would be a good idea gentlemen? It has been to long then. Druzell and I have been away from to long have we not...now you lesser vampires think you have the right to kill innocents because you can?" She said as she removed her hood reveling her true self as all the vampires in the room gasp and moved back away. A few bowed but one. She notice that the strange figure belonged to Nate the one who wished to speak with her about Decome. She was pleased to know that it was he who had been taking up for halflings before she had spoken up. She walked over to him and stud by him as she stared at the other members. "You should lessen to him he has the vote of the elders with him. Do not cross me gentleman. I have a message for you all. Druzell has been awoken and the time of the elders will be again. Enjoy your last night as leaders of the underground. Hail Druzell he will bring the era of the vampires back. And you will die if you try to stop him." She said as she stared at the others seeing the fear in their eyes. They quickly looked to Nate then quickly left the room. She looked at him and then disappeared out of the room hurrying out of the underground and away from him. Decomes vision just kept playing in her mind as she tried to hurry out of the underground. She was panicking not liking the feeling that she felt around him. She cursed under her breath and he followed her out of the underground and near the woods where she had felt Decome was. "A family argument. Druzell has the papers for Decome to be homed school I hope that want be a problem. By know you know.....she is not safe at the school."

Nate walked to the underground after changing his clothes. He wanted some that weren't so heavy from all the rain so he could be at ease at the meeting tonight. Due to his bloodline he was one of the last true elders left beside Druzell and Akee and three others. If he was right about Akee and Druzell being who he thought they where....then the lesser vampires who where in power now wouldn't last long. With Druzell awoken it would only be a matter of time before he took over the power again. Nate took his seat and tried to keep quite as he grew enraged with the other lesser members. He had noticed as strange figure enter the room and seat in the back and lessen wandering why the figure was not removing the hood from their face. His attention though turned back to the lesser members as he heard their last outrageous idea for going on a killing spree. He glared at them as he let out a growl and a voice that seemed to echo through the whole underground demanding attention from all. "There will be NONE OF THAT!! YOu insolent fools! They have a right to live! How dare you think you have the right to kill because you say you can. Do you want a repeat of being hunted down and murdered again? Did you fools not learn from the last time that going open in the world of the light will only get us all killed?" Nate turned as he heard a female voice coming from the hooded figure. His eyes widen as he saw how scared and the fear that the voice brought to all the others in the room. Even his anger didn't scare the others as bad as the females clam smooth voice did. He then froze as he saw the hooded figure remove the hood. Nate was shocked to hear and see Akee and to see her appear beside him to back him. He knew of Decome but why would she come here alone without Druzell she was not as powerful as he was. Though it had been roamered over the years she was deadlier. Though the more he looked at her the more he doubted that she was. She was to beautiful to hurt anyone. But her voice seemed to strike more that fear into the others as the all disappeared after her speech. Nate smiled at her and closed his eye for a moment as he turned then looked back to find her gone. "Wh-where did you go Akee?" He whispered as he quickly moved from the room not seeing her. He followed the strange sent that was hers or Decomes. He knew decomes sent any where. Her sent was sweet but nothing like a true vampires. Though he loved how it mixed with Akee's making a intoxicating spell. He smiled as he saw her hurrying out of the underground and quickly appeared beside her as he kept perfect pace with her not letting her get away from him. "You seemed up set today what is wrong if you don't mind me asking? What is wrong with Decome?" He said wandering why decome had been crying and the family looked a mess except for Druzell and Akee. Nate's eyes widen as he lessen to her then grabbed her arm and gently turned her pining her against a tree as he stared into her crimson eyes finding it hard to be angry with her for her statement. "Decome is safe at my school I promise. It is not fare to her to make her stay at home. I have a feeling that her mother felt the same way. She is still human as she is vampire. To keep her from one side would be to kill her. I promise you Akee that I will protect her and keep my eye on her. I will have her a special lunch made unless you wish to make it as you usually do. I would know that sent anywhere of yours. I just never had a face or a name to put with it. And I assume the other strong sent is Druzell on Decome. Decome has a family at school and a grenadine there and a mentor Akee. I want hurt her I promise and I want let anyone else."

Docome looked up to the noises of her grandma and nate. Slowly she started walking towards it knowing that her parents where not watching as she came apon the site of Nate holding her agenist the tree, smiling at it. A small giggle left her as she felt Duzell next to her whisper,"I think your grandmother is in love again my littl Docome." Docome just laughed some more as she pulled Duzell behind a tree to watch her grandmothers little love scene,"I hope they dont hear us." Duzell picked her up to where her feet were no longer touching the ground,"They will not now becuse vampires by nature are quiet even if we step on leaves...you are not." Docome looked up at him questionable,"why?" "Because you are not a full blooded vampire child, we will be lucky enough if your V vampire genes start waking up more to make you a full blooded vampire."

Akee just stared at him as she felt slightly awkward being penned up against the tree. She stared deep into his eyes as she tried to read him he wasn't like Druzell or her son or any of the other vampires. They where easy to read even with her vision starting to fade she could still tell where he was and everything about him. Though the rest of the things about her where a little fuzzy. She close her eyes as he drew near to her. "I trust you." She whispered as she open her eyes meeting his. She was happy when he realized her arm and she stepped away from the tree and brushed the pieces of it from her clothing. She froze and turned after hearing Nat's words. "Don't push it." She said not enjoying how forward he was being. Though that wasn't the real problem she didn't mind she felt the same way but she did mind that he was over Decomes schooling. "Don't waste your time. I have no interest in you." She said as she turned and headed back into town following the path she had used for years knowing where everything was as she went.


Nate just stared into her crimson eyes as he leaned forward as if she was pulling him in with her eyes. He grinned as he gently let her arm go and stepped back allowing space between them. "That is all I want Akee is your trust." He smiled at her as he watched her. Though the smile from his lips faded as he heard her last statement before she walked off. Her words said one thing but her eyes said another there was something more he could tell. Those crimson eyes of her's told everything she felt the same way he did and she was scared her eyes told on her and her words only proved it. She was afraid to trust anyone. Nate stud there as he wandered how long she had been so headstrong and at time barbaric. He could tell in those eyes of hers that was just a front she was not really like that that was just something she did to protect herself and the others she cared about. He was going to keep his promise about Decome and maybe that would help her see that others could be trusted. Nate looked to where he had heard a noise. In a quick movement he appeared there and looked around not seeing anything though he smelt Decome's sent. "That is odd now why would she be out here and why didn't I or Akee pick up on it. I am sure if Akee would have known she would have......that might be why she said that and left." He said as he turned and began to follow after her.

Duzell let out a sigh as he gentlly lossened his grip around Docome as he aloud her to dangle her feet from the top of the tree,"im surprised Akee didn't yell at us for spying on her." Docome just laughed as she lended back on him and yawn, feeling that the day for herself was coming to a end. "I think it is time to go Docome."He said gentlly pushing her hair out of her eyes. She nodded getting ready to jump down but was stopped by Duzell pulling her back down then a small brezze as he landed on the ground gliding down softly. "How did you do that?" She asked through the sleeplyness,"It a vampire ability i will teach it to you soon." He anwsered pulling her close to his chest as he cared her back home in the way that Akee had just disappeared.

Akee shut the door behind her as she took a seat at the kitchen counter and hung her head. She couldn't believe what had happen and that maybe Decome was right. All she could see was the cupcake Decome had made with a N&A. Had she been trying to tell her then? Akee closed her eyes as she tried to think. She hoped that Decome really didn't see any of the things that she was afraid that she had. She didn't want Decome to be up set with her. Akee shook her head as she grabbed the real wine bottle she had left out on the corner and one of the glasses beside it as she poured her a glass and began to drink it. She moved from the counter her glass and bottle in hand as she walked to the door after hearing someone knock on it. She looked at the bottle after finishing half of it and shook her head as she stud there with the door open seeing Nate standing there. "I am not drunk enough." She said as she shut the door in his face and walked to the cabinet and pulled out a bottle of vodka she had hide for years. She open it and began to drink from the bottle as she put the wine bottle back on the counter and took a set again ignoring the knocks at the door. "Still not drunk enough...I forgot the down side to being immortal you can't get drunk." She said as she shook her head and put the bottle of vodka down and shifted her head to the door. He wasn't going to give up and she was to tired at this point to care. He could stay out there the whole night for all she cared. Akee looked back to the counter as she hoped he would just go away. Akee closed her eyes as she fell from her stool on the floor as she blacked out.

Nate followed Akee back to her home. He knocked on the door he knew she was there he had only missed her by seconds from entering in the house. He smiled as he saw her open the door. The stud there as he tried to figure out what she meant she wasn't drunk enough. She was a strange one but it was refreshing to meet someone who was really for once and not a fake little doll. He kept Knocking on the door then open the door as he heard a sound inside of the house. He stumbled up on Akee on the kitchen floor and moved to her side as he picked her up and felt her head trying to understand what had happen. He took her and placed her on the couch and held her as he worried about her condition. This was not normal even for vampries.

Javeron had gone hunting and gently whipped his hand across his lips removing the blood.He looked up just after he had disposed of the body of the deer and Rose showed up.He smiled at her leaning down and running his hand through the river getting the blood off.He didn't have a single drop of blood on him and the only evidence had been on his hand."Hello love...where's Docome?"He asked hearing Duzzell's thoughts.He froze and grabbed Rose by the hand running home.

Duzell entered the house closing the door behind him with his heel and stopped dead almost dropping Docome at the sight of Nat and Akee in the living room. He layed Docome gentlly on the floor and walked quickly to them anfer flowing into his eyes as they glowed red with anger now. "What happen to her, what have you done?"he asked gowling though his teeth almost shouting the words.

Javeron ran in and dropped Rose's hand."What did you do to her!?"He growled angrily seeing Akee blacked out on the couch with Nat.He had never seen Akee like this...and her aura was messed up as well.He looked at Docome and Rose and then back at Nat not trusting him one bit.The anger was clearly displayed on his face as he inched slightly closer to Nat.He didn't have any intentions of hurting him just getting him away from Akee and his family.He stopped knowing if that was what needed to be done Duzzell would do it...

Duzell looked at Javeron then at rose as they came into the house,"Javeron, i do not think he has done this to her it doesn't seem that way." He picked up Docome and Handed her to Javeron,"Take her up to bed and when you return will disgust this more."

Javeron nodded and then ran Docome up stairs and gently set her in her bed.He ticked her in and then kissed her cheek running back down stairs.He looked at Duzzell and then at Nat.He still didn't trust him."Are you sure he didn't..."He sighed softly and then looked back at Duzzell.

Javeron sighed softly and nodded gently resting his hands on hers.He switched places with her hugging her and holding her against him gently letting her presence calm him down.He had all but forgotten what she had done....even if the memory would surface some other time.But now was not the time he was worried about his mother's health and safety...

Duzell nodded,"Im positive that he is not the one who has done this, Rose please go to your room i do not wish to put this on your shoulders go check on little Alice and see how she is she needs her mother now that you are home." Duzell moved around and gentlly placed his hand on Akee's forehead, "She is slitly warm but not bad, you do hear of vampires getting sick at less once in there life time, Javron you are her son do you remember her ever getting a human cold or the flu in the time as a child you have been with her?"

Nate just kept quite as he felt like a chicken that had just walked into a wolfs den. He felt the eyes peirce threw him and he knew there thoughts. He then looked down to Akee as he felt fear not of the others but losing something he had dreamed of for years. And had just found. "She was just sitting on the stool and fell off of it when I found her Druzell. Think what you may I have done nothing to her. She was very beautiful as she laid there just like a doll. "Do you think that maybe she is just tired? This past week has been stressful for all of you I assume. She may just be tired."

(Docome was in her room alseep Javeron toke her up there) Duzell looked at nat his eyes calm now but worried for akee, "maybe, im not sure but whatever it is has weakened her a great deal." At that moment Duzell bit hard into his wrist as blood came flowing down his arm as he gentlly opened Akee's mouth and alouded the blood to drip quickly into her. Being the head of his clan Duzell's blood was powerful with the ability to bring back a long forgotten vampire or awaken one from a thousand year slumber. But with this blood all he was doing was giving Akee strength to wake up and let her family know she was alright.

Akee open her eyes as she felt like she had been hit with something. Her head hurt as she slowly sat up or was lifted up. She closed her eyes as she was trying to let her eyes get use to the light as she open them again and saw Druzell standing over her and looked to his arm as it bleed. "What happen are you ok?" She said as she turned and saw Nate holding her. Her eyes widen as she tried to remember what happen and why he was there to begin with and why did she had a strange taste in her mouth. She stared in his eyes as she felt suddenly tired.

Nate waited to see if Akee would wake. He smiled as he saw her open her eyes and pulled her up and let her lean on him. He smiled as he stared into his eyes. He gently stroked her face as he could tell she was tired. "I think someone needs some sleep. " He said as he wanted to just hold her and let her sleep in his arms.

Duzzel smiled at her as the wound on his wrist healed and sat next to her,"You passed out in the kitchen and nat brought you in here and i gave you some of my blood, how do you feel?"He asked gentlly rubbing her back

Akee turned and looked at him. "I am very tired and how did he get in our house?" She said a little worried that the strange man just appeared in the house. She was thankful though that it was him and not some one that would hurt them. She smiled slightly as she looked back to Nate as she felt him pull her closer and rub her check. "I am just tired though I see much better. Maybe my powers are just acting up because of Decome getting hers. You know when you are around those with new powers yours can some times get effected." She said as she looked to Druzell and to his arm. "I am sorry for worrying you. You shouldn't have done that Druzell that had to hurt you."

Nate didn't understand why he couldn't move or take his eyes from the woman who he just wanted to hold as long as he could. He wanted to know her inside out and hew as in a dangerous spot at this time. He had just walked into the house and he was looking rather guilty though he had done nothing wrong and he knew of Druzells temper.

Duzell just smiled at her and helped her to her feet,"Im the head of our clan, it is my right and duty to see to each member and keep them health i was happy to help you so please do not say sorry for something i wanted to do. And you are right with Docome's new powers im sure now that is the reason for some of tis the energy in the house is powered up by her." At that moment Docome came down th stairs to see everyone but her mother in the living room then she saw her teacher as well and smiled at him remembering the moment she saw with him and her grandmother."Hello Mr.Nat...whats everyone doing down here?" she asked rubbing her eyes and walking over to her father putting her arms around her and lening her head agenist him.

Akee was about to object when she saw Decome coming down the stairs she turned and gave her a smile as she held onto Duzell's arm for support. She then looked to Nate as he spoke so kind and gently to Decome. It was very rare to see outsiders speak with such kindness to anyone. But then again he wasn't just any outsider he was a pure-blood just as she and Duzell where. In their time there was manners and a code of respect that they followed. She wanted to slap Nate for just telling Decome it was alright for her to go back to school after the argument with her mother almost drove the family apart. She stud there as she gave him the death stare ready to attack him at every word but to tired to.

Nate smiled at Decome as he gave her a slight bow." Hello there miss. Decome. Your grandmother,Duzell and I have been talking about you. I have to say that many people miss you at school. Your teachers are very fond of you and want you back along with your friends. I have already spoken with Akee about your abscesses. I feel that it might be better for you to stay in the school instead of being homed school. There is much you can learn from others who are not...." He went silent as he realized Decome didn't know he was a vampire as well. He then smiled and chuckled as he continued. "In such special circumstances shall we say. There is no need to fear Decome you know where my office is if you have any problems while at school. Besides we vampires have to keep together." He said as he smiled at her.

Docome gentlly smiled back at her teacher as she saw how her grandmother and Duzell were acting around him,"can you tell everyone that i miss them and to have a good school year. I love that you are giving me the choice to return to my school and all of my friends but i dont like to disrespect my parents or my grandmothers choices on how i am to be teached." she replyed giving him a soft small smile beforwe walking over and helping giving support to her grandma as she looked like she needed it, "Is your age finally taking a toll on you grandma?" Docome said giggling and giving her a smal kiss on the cheek
