Rosa didn't like the Idea with her mother talking to her mother in law but it was better than her mother knowing that she was a vampire as well.
Rosa just looked at her mother and smiled as well and she was holding Alice in her arms and she was happy as well. "Dear mother I will be going to bed now see you tomorrow." Pearl looked at her daughter and said "of course dear good night." Pearl looked and akee "well your Javeron mother it is good to meet you oh my dear love get the toys for the children they might be happy as well with it." Pearl smiled at them and she knew something as well but kept it from them "oh dear Javeron how about you go be with your wife and daughter for a while and kept her well if she as problems alright dear." |
Javeron's eyes narrowed slightly as he held back a growl.He looked at akee as if anything happens tell me and sighed softly looking back at Pearl."The only problem she'd have would be with you..."He mumbled under his breath his voice only loud enough for immortals to hear.He grabbed his and rose's and Alice's things and headed to Rose's room with them.

When Rosa got to her room her mother did change it. Her room was light like pink and she hated it a lot.
"Man mom had to change my room colors I hate pink mom as change maybe it as to with me leaving this place I wonder why mom wanted me to come back it as to do with sis again." Rosa just went on the bed and put alice on the bed and smiled as well she smiled at Alice and smiled at Javeron as well. |
Javeron smiled back at Rose and set the bags by her dresser.There had been good memories and bad in this room...He wrinkled his nose up slightly as he looked at the pink walls."To bright..."he mumbled to himself as he went over to where Rose was.He gently cupped he cheek with his hand flashing her a gentle smile."How are you holding up,beautiful?"He asked her softly.

Docome stayed down stares with Akk and Duzzel standing next to Duzzel hiding behind him slightly trying hard not to be noticed. Duzzel looked down at her smile kissing the top of her head and putting his arm around her. As Pearl started talking to Akee, he watched her closing ready in case her powers broke through or if her anger became to high to be aound a human.

Akee kept clam and was rather social with Pearl. On the inside she was ready to kill the wretched woman for how she treated Rose. If it wasn't the fact that all the family was there she would rid herself of the sad excuse of a human that Pearl really was. Akee was rather board with her to be honest and sick of having to be in her presents she couldn't wait to get back home to her own dark quarters. "Your house is rather lovely my dear what taste you have. You taught Rose very well she is quite the mother my dear Pearl. You know Decome is the top in her classes at the academy? I think that I am rather tired from the trip if you will please excuse me my dear Pearl." She said giving herself a way out of the conversion with Pearl as she walked over to where Decome was and gently placed her hand on her shoulder in a loving manner. She shifted her eyes to Druzel hoping that they wouldn't really have to stay in the house with that woman. She lied Rose was not the worst person on earth her mother was. No wonder poor Rose had so many issues she thought as she rolled her eyes at the thought of Pearl it made her cringe just thinking of the woman making a growl slip from her as her eye's held a slight crimson glow to them. "Javeron please tell me that Rose will let us go home soon.....I would rather fight slayers than stay here one night with his WOMAN....if you can call her that. I think I'll be following this woman tonight and make sure she doesn't try and do anything to harm anyone. No I know why I liked my coffin for all those years....No people around to make you wish you could kill them." She thought hoping he would hear here.

Docome toke her grandmothers hand when it hit her shoulder and held tight onto it. Docome was also uneasy aroung her other grandmother. Duzzel nodded at Akee letting her now that when she went up the stairs himself along with Docome would follow quickly. Duzzel was not to found of the women either...she gave him a strange feeling when she looked at him or Docome.

Akee shifted her eyes to her dear little Decome and smiled at her as she took her hand gently into hers and lead her up the stairs. She knew Duzzel would be sure to follow he always did. She lead Decome to a spare room and open the door and walked in walking over to the bed and taking a set on it. She patted the spot beside her for little Decome to set if she wished. "Come little one we will be to our selves for a bit. I am sure if you asked Duzzel would tell you some family history....wait never mind that is my job." She said remembering she was the history keeper for their family no one could read her books because their was no writing on them.A few where written in the ancient text of their kind and very few vampires could read it. She hoped to one day teach Decome and maybe even little Alice. She was still uneasy about being so close to Pearl there was something about the woman that mad her want to bare her fangs. For some unknown reason Pearl was a threat to her family she would keep a watch tonight and ask for Duzzel to stay with Decome just for safe measures. She wasn't going to take any changes with anymore humans she had learned her lessen many years ago.

Docome smiled sitting with her grandmother on the bed and leaned her head aganist her shoulder and smiled at the thought of learning more about her family. "I do love hearing about our family grandma." Docme said wrapping her arms around her grandmother and laying her head in her lap. "Will you tell me a story of when daddy was still little?" She asked looking up at her grandmother with wonder in her eyes.

Rosa looked at him and sigh "the truth is I am feeling that my mother and father is hiding something from me she never talks to me that all. When I was human she hated me well ever since I married you she said to me before I married you don't marry him that is what she said and i hated for it as well. " Rosa looked at him and than the baby and didn't know what to think of until she remembers of something that her mother had on her neck "Javeron do you think there are vampire hunters out there we never saw or met one but do you think they are out there?" Rosa looked at him and knew of something and Didn't want to her daughters and her mother in law to know about it as well.

Akee smiled as she peered down at Decome. "well your father use to hate that I made him fit in with the other children. I would dress him in all the latest fashions and he was a little heart breaker even then. You should have saw all the little girls that would chase him around. He has always been very caring. He use to pick up stray animals and bring them home to take care of. He was a lot like you Decome. When I look into your eye's it is like looking into his. Though you don't have those fangs that would sometimes come out at random times. It was rather hard to teach him how to keep those to himself. He tried to bite the mail man when he was younger thinking the poor dear was flirting with me...to him his father was just away and still coming home. I know that it was hard and still is for him to face the truth that his father died all those years ago. Though he has turned out to be a great father that I am very proud of. You know you are rather lucky Druzzle and I didn't have such loving fathers. Your grandfather would have been so proud of you as he would be your father. I never thought that he would have chose Rose there where others he had loved. My favorite was a little blond half-ling named Rue. The two of them together was something else. Rue looked like a little doll though she was quite the handful and the two of them together was a mess. He was use to being raised among humans and acted more like one than Rue liked. I admit that was my fault I raised him that way I raised him to be caring to others and in the ways of humans. You know at one time we where all human's...well those of us who aren't pure bloods. Your father had some time with his powers as well Decome. He set our house on fire one time when he was learning how to control them and the another he exploded the house don't let him fool you he isn't perfect and he didn't master his powers in a day. He was rather annoying when he learned that mind power of his. He would use it to make his teachers go crazy and tried to make me forget things so he could have his way. He tried to play jokes on dear Duzzel for the longest. Your father use to hide in the living room and would wait till Duzzel would go to his food bowl and would play mind tricks on the poor dear. He would make Duzzel see a copy of himself and make it mimic Duzzel then when Duzzel would go to chase it he would make it vanish leaving Duzzel most times landing against the door or wall. He thought it was fun till Duzzle starting playing his own tricks on him. " She said as memories flashed back to her as fresh as ever. She felt like a open book as she did most times when she recalled things. She missed her little boy but the grown one was the one she loved as she did the little boy she remembered.

Docome smiled and giggled at almost ever word as she herd that her father set the houseon fire adn even made it explode. "im surprised, i didn't set the house on fire when i played with my fire. Thats funny" She said hugging her grandmother even more. "And i cant even image daddy with another women, Dad and Mom just go together to well in my book. But doing that to Duzzel...well that seems something i would do if i didn't learn that he is related to me or an all power vampire either." Duzzel looked at Docome as the word left her and smiled,"I would have bitten you as a punishment if you did that to me, i couldn't do it to your father because i had to be "dead" Docome smiled even more and laughed some. "I do have one more question though grandma...does daddy look like grandpa? It's been forevery sence i saw a picture of him. I think the last time was when i was 5 or 6." She said leaning her head aganist her granmothers stomach.

Javeron sighed softly as he slide down the the soft sheets on her old bed."I don't know..."He whispered his tense shoulders slightly relaxing as memories of his own slide behind his closed eyelids.Finding out Rose was pregnant...holding her in his arms...waking up to her soft lips...the light in her eyes when she smiled at him and saw his face...He let a soft smile slide on his lips as he stood and gently kissed Rose on the lips lovingly and his baby on the forehead."Whatever is happening it will be resolved no matter what it takes."He said his soft expression disappearing for a second being replaced with a firey determination that would shake a human to the bone and then back into the soft loving one he held from the memories and his two daughters.

Akee froze as she heard Decomes question. She thought back lost in old memories as slight smile appeared on her lips as she laughed and nodded. "Yes your father dose look very much so like his own father. And at time he can act just like him. Your grandfather was very kind as your father and had a big heart. I am sorry you didn't get to know him my little one you would have loved him as I know he would have loved you. But you still have Druzzel here to teach you things that he would." She said trying to reassure decome that she was not missing much by not getting to know her grandfather. She was and it was a shame but some times things happen for a reason.

Docome let a small smile appear on her lips as she hid her face in her grandmothers belly and closed her eyes."Im sleepy." She said as she happily drifted off to sleep.

Rosa had a feeling about her parents and didn't what to do about it as well. Rosa looked at Javeron and smiled at him "Dear I am going to find something out can you watch Alice for a while i will be right back." Rosa kissed Javeron on the lips and kissed Alice on the forehead and left the room and went down and went in Akee mind.
"Akee i must talk to you for a minute and please come to the library it is next to my own room you remember meet me there and come alone alright." Rosa went into the library and was looking at the books and found a picture book about when she was a little girl and felt like her life went bad. Akee Javeron and her daughters never knew about her past but she must tell Akee they both felt the same. |
Javeron nodded and took his baby girl into his arms.His once firey eyes soft and gentle as he rocked her softly.He laughed as she took his thumb into her mouth as if it were a binky."Your so beautiful...just like your mother and sister..."He whispered as a heart warming smile slide onto his babies lips around his thumb.He couldn't help but smile back as he went and sat on the bed.He let the smile stay on his face softening his features as he saw Alice's big beautiful eyes gently slide shut.

Docme woke up not long after she feel asleep and without disturbing her grandmother she got up and went down stairs were she saw her mother's parents at the kitchen table talking..."Hello grandma, hello grandpa." She said walking over them and smiling. "Is everyone still asleep." she asked. "May i sit down with you?"

Akee rose and left the room leaving Duzell to himself for once as she made her way to where Rose was. She appeared before the girl looking as she always did her light colored hair danced about her body not one daring to be out of its place as she stood there and waited for the girl to speak. The years where taking their toll on her by now even as she stood there looking like a beautiful child's doll. Her porcelain mask may hide her frustration and all her emotions but her eye's told a different story if any dared to look close enough into them. Though time may look as if it left her behind on the inside time had stopped a long time ago for her. She was not just a living memory of years and times past doomed to walk the wretched earth for eternity.

Rosa looked at her and smiled and went to the door and locked it "you know Akee you don't have to hide them from me I know you never like me but lets talk about my parents and only you know what is wrong. I think my parents are vampire hunters I know it as to be true my mother would never be like this and this is scarying me Akee I am scared for you and Duzell for my children and my husband I am worried about this all and you know it as well I don't think I knew either I went through some books and it as to do with my family would you like to know about them I was waiting for you and I want you only you to know about my family." Rosa looks at her and the eyes not of a vampire but of the same Rosa.

Akee kept quite and lessened to what Rose had to say. Her porcelain like face never gave anything away as she stood there hearing the girl. She gave a slight nod to Rose as the girl finished and looked about the room. "I take it my dear son told you about my powers then. How ironic the truth finally comes out and I nor your parents didn't have to say a thing. As the saying goes what doesn't come out in the wash will come out in the rinse. No I have never liked you or your family for the fact of what you are and how your parents have chosen to treat you. I think you are a rather pitiful excuse for a mother and a wife at times. But you are trying to be better and that is all any could ask. You make my son happy when you do behave and act like a decent being. So there fore what more could a mother want than to see her child happy.My son though has failed to tell you our family history not that he could or Duzzle could. That is my job you see Duzzle and I are older than time its self or at times it feels like it. The reason your dear father want get to close to me or Duzzle is he remembers us well as he should. Your great grandfather is the one who killed my dear husband and I'm the same wicked bat that killed your great grandfather. We also took out the other hunters that once served with him to hunt our kind. How funny really that our paths have entwined. You know it is no longer safe for you here or your children. You are no longer human therefore to them you are no longer their daughter you are mine now Rose. You are one of the monsters that they hate now and they will kill you." Her eye's shifted to the door as she looked back to Rose. "I suggest you pack your things and get in the car. I am going to get Decome and have a little "Chat" With your parents. I don't want my grandchildren around them unprotected. If they dare to harm just one hair on either one's head or any of my family I will kill them as I have killed the others in their family's. Sticks and stones will break their bones. Words will only anger them. But my fangs will always find them." She said as she turned and closed her eyes as the door flew open letting her walk out.
Akee appeared behind her sweet and dear little Decome as she gently placed one hand on her shoulder and the other ran through the girls hair. She kept her eyes closed as she enjoyed being close to her dear one. "Why don't we go outside little one I am sure there are many new things here to explore." She said a clam as ever even though she was in the presents of the hunters who had chased her and her family for years. She wandered if Duzzle had figured that out yet or not the reason why they where so uncomfortable here. |
Docome smiled as she felt her grandma's hands on her going though her hair. "Ok, I'll go get Duzzel so he can enjoy the new wonders to." She smiled then ran up the stairs to find Duzzel reading one of the books in there library. "Duzzel do you want to come outside with me and Grandma?" she asked but when she looked at the book that he was reading it was titled "Vampire hunters of the decades" "Why are you reading something like that?" she asked standing next to him now reading along. Duzzel quickly closed the book and put it back where he got it. "I enjoy reading about how humans try and fail to kill our kind, they think they are strong and have all the answers and the reasons why we are what we are." Docome nodded and strated pulling on his hand,"Come with us Duzzel, please?" "I'll come ,i'll come you dont need to pull my arm off." This made Docome laugh as she let go of his hand and ran downstairs with Duzzel right behind her. Duzzel smiled at her long silver hair flowing down as she came to a stop next to Akee infront of Rosa's parents. Duzzel knew it...they were vampire slayers and he knew all about how they killed Ake's lover and how she killed there great grandfather but he didn't speck a word of it as he now was next top Akee with his hand on her shoulder as a signal for them to go outside and leave these...killers, be. "Come Akee, the night air feels wonderfull here where there are not so many buildings." He said as he watched docome run out the door.

Akee only gave a nod of her head as she moved shifty out of the room and out the door. At lest this would give her time with Decome and help her with those powers of hers. And give Duzzel time with Decome as well. To many things danced about her mind as she greeted the welcomed night's air once outside. She longed to be at their own home with her son and family safe with no worries about Rose's parents. She tried to clam her thoughts knowing that her son would pick up on her thoughts if she didn't. She hadn't told him the whole truth about why she was up set with him for choosing Rose as his mate and how could she now. Though some part of her didn't care if he read her thoughts and found out what Rose's parents where at lest he would know and he would know they must leave and fast before blood was spilt. Akee had no intent of becoming a pile of ash and since her powers had grown and now with Duzzel awake they were not threat to them. They did have Decome on their side as well young she may be but her power was great even yet.

Duzzel closed the door behind them as they stepped outside into the cool night air, it cleared his mind of many things but not the fact that Rose's parents can very well be more dangerous then he thought if they can full Docome even her still being new to her vampire blood line. "Docome, would like to practise with your powers since we are out of sit?" he asked rubbing her head gently. "Yeah! That sounds like fun, can we grandma? please." Docome asked looking at Akee with a joyfull smile across her lips as her eyes filled with happiness and excitment.
