"I-i think im ok just really dizzy."She gentally touched the back of her head and sighed with relief as no blood was on her head."That really hurt." she stood up and the dizzyness was gone quickly her eyes wided as she stood,"um, im going to my room for a few to get cleaned up."She kissed both of her parents on the cheek and ran up the stairs at normal speed.

Javeron sighed and watched as Docome ran up the stairs.He went back over to Rose and wrapped her into his arms the same way he had earlier.With his hands gently resting on her stomach and he supported most of her weight knowing she was weak.He sighed and closed his eyes as he leaned down and kissed the back of her neck gently.His eyes still pained as he looked at Arvin.

Arvin laughed sheepishly. "I'll ummm... clean the kitchen." He walked off and started scrubbing up the mess, muttering some foul words as he cleaned the place.

Docome sat on her floor holding her head in her hands holding back tears from her eyes,"Its happening again."she whispered as tears finally slid down her cheeks hitting the floor next to her knees

she is worry for her daughter docome "i'll be back i am going to see docome for a bit" she walks to her room and knocks on the door "docome dear can i come in i want to know what is wrong"

Javeron sighed and let her go.He didn't know what to do anymore so he went over to Arvin and then helped him clean up silently.Not saying a word he picked up a wash cloth and started to whip up the mess.He didn't look at Arvin or anything except what he was working on.

Arvin finally sighed pushing the cleaning supplies away. "Dude, you don't look too good. Is everything going to be all right?"

Javeron sighed and looked at Arvin slowly standing up."Ya...I guess it is."He said softly his voice not even a whisper.He plopped down onto a chair closing his eyes."I just wasn't expecting another child...and it puts her through so much pain.Rose in the last pregnancy with Docome was so weak and she had passed out a lot and at night screamed in pain..."He told Arvin opening his eyes slowly.

Akee locked the the door behind her as she entered the house. She put her bottle of wine away then began to cook again. She needed something to clam her down before she lost her mind again. This was not what any of them needed at this time. Rose was adding things to Akee's list that she had to deal with. Akee was not crossed with the girl just mad that she was going to have another thing to worry about. Not only would she have to worry about Decome coming into her own and getting her powers, now she had another on the way that she would have to do the same for. Akee was on her second tray of cup cakes when she felt like herslef again. She smiled as she enjoyed decortaing the cupcakes in Decomes favorite colors. She had already made her son's favorite cake and even Rose her's. Akee knew that Rose wouldn't eat any of the treats but making them helped her find peace. Akee smiled as she looked at the mass of cookies, cupcakes, and cakes she had about the place. "Oh dear, I did it again. Maybe my dear husban was right I should have started a shop. " She laughed as she cleaned up her used dishes and put them away. Akee when and cleaned up the dinner and put the leftover in the frig then went back to fixing Arvin a bag full of goodies. She smiled as she thought about how lucky she was that Javeron had taken after his father. If he hadn't he would be very fat by now from all her cooking. Akee smiled as she looked up at the frame that hung above the sink of Decome and Javeron. She was happy that both of them took Drzell's bloodline and hoped the new one would too! It was going to be fun to cook for another. Akee crossed her arms as she begain to ponder on Rose. This was going to be a problem and they all knew it. Rose want make it through this one she feared as she stud there. It was a death wish to ask Rose to have another child and if this child has more of the blood line than Decome did Rose was going to die. Akee shook her head as she dreaded the thought of talking to Javeron about this. She didn't want Rose to die to have another child and she didn't want her to kill the child..but a choice was going to be made for one or the other. Akee wandered if this stress was going to help Decome gain her powers sooner. She was already so close would this outcome from the choice that had to be made be the thing that sets Decome over the edge and helps her learn of her powers? "Humm" is all Akee could say for the thoughts that she pondered on as she stared at the frame. "To be or not to be that is the question."

Docome stood wrapping the tears from her cheeks and walked down stairs to the kitchen where her grandmother was,"Grandma...can you come to my room...i really need to talk to you about something." Docome looked shy and more fragile then normal as she kepted her eyes on the floor and not once looking up at Akee

she heared what docome said she wanted her grandmother than her rose goes outside in the cold and stays outside all night and day never coming in for a while she is weak still very weak

Akee turned and looked at Decome as she rushed to her. "Yes my dear what is wrong?" She looked at Decome with concern as she rose a brow to her. "Yes dear lead the way."

Docome noded her head and slowly walked up the stairs, she had no idea how to tell her grandmother want was wrong with her but she knew that she could help her somehow. She opened the door to her room and walked in shuting it as her grandmother entered and pulled her computer chair up next to the bed for her to sit in."I don't unstand whats wrong with me but...when i feel on the floor i could feel my head break open but there was no blood, no broken skin and i felt just fine but i could still fill happen to me. I don't know whats wrong wiht me grandma...im really scared." Tears rolled down her cheeks as she put he arms around her grandmother and started to cry.

Akee gently soothed her granddaughter as she kissed the top of her head. Her voice chimed like a bell as the words rolled off her tong as she had done for years when she needed to sooth some one. "There is nothing wrong with you Decome. " Akee looked over her granddaughters head to see if she was ok. She was right it had caused her granddaughter to receive her powers early. She gently petted her granddaughter as she smiled. "Decome dear, there is nothing wrong you are just becoming part of the family." Akee lost her smile as she knew it was time to tell Decome everything and even show her the truth. "Decome look at me my dear how old do you think I am? I look of only a few summers but I am older than that much older than any normal person could ever be just as you will be. No more blood will come from your wounds or from you Decome. There will be few things that will hurt you now. Decome the reason for all of this mess with Rose and you dear is your father and I come from a blood line of vampires. We come from the bloodline of Drzell one of the oldest vampires. Dear I know this is a lot to take in but it is time you knew." Akee gently held up Decome's head in her hands as she gave her a smile showing her fangs as she began to laugh. "You don't know how happy it makes me that you took after our side dear. Though fangs you want get you don't have enough of the blood for that..though you will get our powers. There is so much to tell you and show you and teach you. I am happy I want have to hide myself from you anymore! Though your mother isn't going to like this one bit."

Docome looked confused but smiled."Wait did you say Duzzel? This is the first time that i ever thought that Duzzel was a real name...why did i name my cat that then?"

Akee just laughed as she saw the thought that was running through Decomes head. "There is a connection there but you will have to ask the cat. You are not getting me in trouble with him. It would be much easier to show you what it means to be part of the family but I want upset your mother by doing so. Decome this is just one of the first of things to come. You will soon grow faster and be able to do things you never thought you could do. Though I guess we have to tell your parents first that you have taken our side of the family. This means there are a lot of things you will have to learn though I think you should see if Drzell is about and see if he'll come in here and you can ask him some questions."

"What? you have to be kinding me that my cat can talk." Docome just shrugged and found the cat picking him up and branging him into the room."Ok...Duzell so can you really talk or is my grandmother crazy." The cats eyes flased a bright yellow as he turned normal."Hello Docome."He said siting next to Akee, Docome's eyes wided in surprise as she stood up and just stared at the both of them.

Akee looked at her granddaughter calmly as if nothing was wrong as she gently petted Duzell. Akee looked down to the cat. "It is nice of you to join us she had taken after us after all. It looks like we will have to start teaching her sooner than planed. If Rose hadn't got pregnant it wouldn't have been so soon. But that is a human for you." Akee looked back to Decome as she rolled her eyes. "Don't stare dear that is rude. Where are your manners. You asked him to talk dear. Now sit back down before you fall again. He doesn't bite well hard at lest." Akee shifted her eyes to the cat as she said those words.

Docome nodded and toke a seat next to Akee."So...does this mean that you are my great grandfather?"
"Yes it does darling, and Akee im not going to bite her...yet."He said the last word in a whisper. It is a vampire tradition for the the grandparnts of a newly born vampire to bite them for the first time in there new life and create a bond with that child but mixing there blod together. |
Akee looked at the cat as she crossed her arms. "I should hope your not. Please lets take one thing at a time. Let me have time to fix the problems here before you do that. I have to help Rose. I may not like it but that is his choice of a mate and that is Decomes mother. I want have my granddaughter without a parent if I can help it. Decome dear don't worry neither one of us are going to bite you." Her eyes shifted to Duzell as she spoke.

Akee nodded her head as she stared at Duzell giving him a warning to behave himself. She wasn't a fool she knew that Duzell had found a liking to her granddaughter. This was the thing that bothered her more than Decome becoming part of the family. Duzell was to much at times to resist and Decome was young."If the two of you don't mind I will excuse myself. Someone needs to check on Rose." Akee rose and left the room making sure to shut the door behind her as she went about the house looking for the girl. |
Docome nodded and looked over at Duzell,"so what kind of things do i need to learn?"she asked
"Loys, how to shapeshieft how to control your powers...how to control your want for blood. But i dont think the last is needs to be brought up your only hafe vampire so you will not need blood all the time like a full bloded vampire would." Docome nodded her head in agreement. |
Javeron went to find Rose and found her outside in the garden."Hello Love how are you doing?"He asked her softly wrapping his arms around her waist and kissing her cheek gently.He felt how weak she was and picked her up gently."Your to weak hun you need to go inside."He said taking her up to her room.He sat on the bed first and rested her against his chest."Are you hungry I can go get you something..."He whispered to her softly.

Akee knocked on the door softly as she walked in with some chick broth for Rose. "Javeron, here see if she can keep this down first. We may have to take her to the doctor sooner than planed. She is looking weaker than last time. If you think she will eat anything I'll cook it or go and get it. I am sorry my dear one. I wish I had been human for your sake. It hurts me seeing you in pain when you should be joyous because of another child on the way. I am sorry dear but you don't get to pick what family you come into or your parents."
