Pre'acha'n held the girl, rocking gently. No way could this happen to someone like him... Then a thought struck him. Duh, I can use my runes to find out basically what happened. That's the least I could do for them... He fished in his pockets, eventually pulling out a smal bag of rune stones.

Ti had heard the squealing of tires and the sound of an over-worked engine. His curiosity made him get up from his spot on the great oak and try to see the road. He almost smacked his forehead when he realized that the trees were in the way. 'Idiot. Of course the trees are in the way, you're in a forest!' He made his way down quickly, moving even faster as he heard a tree go down off in the distance. I had come from the same direction as the car noises. He jumped the last few dozen feet, hitting the ground at a run. Trees and brush flew past him, a few small cuts appearing as they scratched in. He followed a small path, it led slightly away from the Inn, but closer to the road. |

Oni blinked realizing it was Lukas speaking. No matter how much he just wanted to do nothing he couldn't ignore Lukas, he just cared about him too much. He said very softly, "I dunno." He snuggled close to Lukas wanting the feelings of someone close to him. "You won't leave me will you?" he asked in a whisper. "I can't . . I can't be alone," he said desperately clinging to him.

Through all of it Rain said silent, letting them decide. Her eyes were on the men and the car, Once they got close enough she leaped downward and headed behind a tree. She cast a simple fireball, throwing it at the first man stupid enough to get out. It would be strong enough to knock him over and set him afire. Rain was not gentle when you messed with family… |
Lukas held him close and nodded. "I'll stay right with you Oni, I'll be right here." He kissed Oni's forehead, and rubbed his back just trying to calm him down. He then realized something causeing him to blush.. [/i]i..i love him...[/i] he thought to himself still keeping him close feeling protective under the calm.

Michaela Michi looked at the stones and went through Brendans memories to see what they did. "Can these help Oni remember Mich? and bring back XanXan?" She gazed at the magic stones, praying they could do those things. "Please help him.." She placed her hands on the stones gently, hoping they would hear her wish. |
~Fine be me.~ Talianda snarled again, stopping just short of the car so Dante could get off and leave him free to rip into someone. ~But if it does happens again, we get to kill them all, right?~
Pre'acha'n listened to the girl. "I don't think these can bring him back, but I might be able to find out what happened. From there we can continue." |
Michaela Nodding, she pointed to the stones "You better work or ima be soo mad at you magic pebbles!" She glared at them and looked at Arina, Michi was entirely serious, she would hate the stones if they didnt work. "We need to find XanXan and make Oni happy again." |
Dante watched Rain leap from the wolf dragon thing. "Jeez..." He sighed, then shoved himself to the side, forcing himself to fall and flip in the air. It was the quickest way to get off of one of those things. He was happy to be able to use one of the men as a nice little cushion for his fall, slamming his weight into the man's back. His left arm whipped back as he spotted the driver, sending the blade straight towards the man. He didn't really aim to be precise and ended up having it scratch down the man's chest and lodge itself half way. The man of course struggled; both of them that is. The driver ripped the black out and tossed it aside before yanking the door open and stumbling out, becoming a wide open target.
At the same time, though, one other man hurried from the van, a pistol in hand. He aimed it at Rain first, then at the more threatening beast; the wolf dragon hybrid. The man panicked and whimpered, stumbling back before letting a few badly aimed shots loose. |
Arina bit her lip and set the clothes back on the seat and moved towards the front door. "That we do Michi.... that we do..."She couldn't just sit there but what was there that she knew how to do.. She paced there and back, the door the couch the door the couch. She then noticed the mage in the corner and blushed having not realized him sooner ."I'm sorry sir... is there anything I can get you? We haven't seen you in a while."

Oni felt a sudden wave of emotion from Lukas. . .it was love. Oni closed his eyes and just soaked in that feeling. . it was so warm and so comforting. Oni was still confused, emotionally run over and in pain but for this moment it gave him hope. He laid his head on Lukas' shoulder and whispered, "I . . I . . I think I love you Lukas." He think he had finally figured out what that fluttery feeling was that he had always felt around Lukas was.

Lukas blushed, hearing the words he had just felt "I.. I think I love you too." He was blushing harder, he loved oni, but the underlining concern for Xanic was still present in the back of his mind. 'what are we going to do..' he thought to himself as he moved a hand to stroke Oni's cheek.

Rin looked up for a moment closing his book with a loud clap. "I am fine miss. I do think however even though it is normally against my best interests to get involved in such things you should attend to your current situation. I'm ancient I can handle myself just fine. If I need something I will ask, but as for now help him. Perhaps we can sit and have a drink when all of this blows over."

Arina just nodded. "Alright... I'm just not so sure, what to do to help... I feel so useless... I can't fight I healed what I could... "She sighed softly but nodded and moved away from him looking back over to the door.

Rain glanced at the man with the gone and looked merely annoyed, casting a more complex flame spell that surrounded her body with flame that then came off in the shape of a dragon…….that swallowed first the badly aimed bullets then the man that fired them whole….his scream not seeming to bother Rain in the slightest. She turned, not even watching as the dragon would burn the man to dust. She noted that Dante had one caught alive…that meant that Tal could do what he wanted to the wounded driver… |
Talianda laughed when the bullets went flying. He pounced on the driver, riping his guts out with one well placed claw swipe. When that didn't kill him right away, he bit the throat and tore it out, shaking the driver's body while doing so.
Pre'acha'n looked at the man in the corner in disgust. How long will he stay? He shrugged, then whispered under his breath to the bag, telling the stones what he wanted to find out. He stayed that way for a few moments, then the stitched runes on the bag glowed. ((Send me what happened, if you haven't already, Chikuma!!!)) |

Ti slid into the scene, his boots digging into the dirt as he slid to a stop. He looked over the fights already starting. He narrowed his eyes at the man that drew a pistol as he fell back shooting wildly as Talianda tore at him, the blood spraying the side of the van. Ti saw a door opening and a man with anpother gun stumble out. He darted forward, coming at the man from an angle, leaping the last few feet, kicking the gun from his hand with his heavy boot, the bones snapping. The man clutched his hand and turned to stare up into golden eyes and an angry Dhampir.

Rin set his book down and sighed rather loudly he knew he was going to regret this in the long run. He walked up to her and putting a hand on her shoulder gently asked. "What species is he miss?"
