He saw who he was firing the spell at and he knew he could not stop it. He had to act fast "I'm sorry miss." He said softly as he pointed his hand at his own chest "damnit I hope this works holy word: negate." He hoped his holy spell was enought to stop his own shadow spell. He had to cast it an he grit his teeth from behind his mask "shadow word: rupture." the spell at first caused the wards around him to ripple then the broke and he went flying into the side of the inn. His cape evaoprated qnf his mask broke in half. He slammed against the wall his body smoking from the shadow energy. His cape gone revealed a small framed man in lightweight armor. His body went limp as he fell unconcious.

Leaping off the horse she headed for the door, glancing at Arina and Michi. “keep her safe…” She thought absently, hearing the words but not sure of trusting him yet. She removed the shield from the barn, her hands raised in case she needed to cast a defensive spell.

Opening the door she found him laying there unconscious and scratched her head, realizing he’d turned the spell on himself. She ran a hand through her hair, looking at Lily on her shoulder. “Should I heal him…?” She asked the cat, unsure….. She then called out, "Um Arina... seems things are fine now..."

Arina nodded ."Alright michi, lets go for that horsey ride." Arina said sweetly setting michi on Silber's back making sure she wouldn't fall off before climbing up behind her and making Silber start going.

With his body having a serious lack of sugar Oni became completely focused on devouring a whole box of candy without killing himself in the process. He noticed Lukas must have got his coffee and went to hang out in the main room. Still hungry Oni found some leftovers and ate them as well. He also almost emptied a new thing of juice. Once he was done he wondered if Dante or Rain was around. He wanted to talk to them.

Dante shivered and curled up into a ball as he slowly came to consciousness. He shook his head and blinked before looking around the room. He could see a second bed had been set up for his sister; they'd worked on that last night. Well, more of Dante watched and Violetta did. She told him to just stay sitting seeing as he was too tiny to help much.

He whimpered as he stretched before rolling out of bed and grabbing one of his shirts. He threw the black button up he'd bought the other day on along with a pair of tiny khakis. If he weren't the adorable kid in this situation, he'd probably love the sight of this.

He glanced to his sister, wondering if she'd just barely headed to bed. It was dark out, after all. He breathed deep, then decided to just leave it be. For now, he just wanted something to eat and a good drink. He headed straight out of his room and downstairs, stopping once to glance at Oni. He was wandering about again then, huh?

Rain sighed and shook her head, beginning to bend to heal when Lily suddenly leaped downward and was hissing slightly and staring at the woods. Rain glanced forward, sensing something was wrong as she stepped in front of the unconscious Rin and Lily. She felt the w scar on her shoulder burn, even more then when it was fresh. She knew what that meant…….Hunters, and the kind who had certain arcane artifacts that some of the tortured witches had made immune to magic….

An arrow headed for Lily who had charged in front of rain to try and protect her, Rain felt her memory swirl….rising until she remembered Lily fully… Not everything, just Lilly. She reacted on instincts, leaning forward and pushing her arm in front of the cat. The arrow buried itself in her arm and she glanced at Lily, a tear hitting the cat’s forehead. “Run…” she ordered. “get someone to take Rin out of here.”

As she finished the whisper she saw several arrows coming her way, knowing by the sting in arm that the arrows were enchanted to be immune, otherwise she’d just shield or toss them. She stepped forward, using her hands to pull a wooden door free from the barn and putting it to catch the six to ten arrows coming from her. She didn’t see the tear flicker and lily start to glow.




A glow filled her and she felt herself seeming to lift then change. She was….human? Well… kinda she had fur covered elf ears, and a cat tail…then the smallest of feathery raven wings from her shoulders. She touched the smooth peach skin of her own arm, wiping a dot of her sister’s blood from it. She would get help…

She glanced at Rin, then her ssister and ran to the inn. Lily threw open the door, stumbling in covered only by her long raven curls. “Help! Deirdra… I mean Rain Needs help! Hunters.” She screamed, leaning on a chair a moment. She shivered, falling to her knees and her conveniently covering every inch of her body.

Oni noticed the new little boy and wondered who he was. He asked, " Hey are you new here? You want me to make you something to eat? My name's Oni, what's yours?" Before he could ask anymore questions Oni saw somebody strange burst in and yell about Rain being in trouble.

Dante stared at oni, not sure how to react. He was the only person for far that didn't make the connection. IT wouldn't be long until he found out, though. "Tir." He sighed heavily. "Ich heisse Tir. Ich komme ause Deutschla-" Then there was a loud noise. He jumped and looked up at the girl, only to turn away, absolutely repulsed. He listened to her few forced words before looking to Oni again. "Er... can you get her some clothes? I'll get somebody!" Well, he didn't know anybody. Was anyone else even around? He shot upstairs heading straight for his room. Of all things, he did have another weapons hidden along his belongings. His short sword was only good for so much; a pistol on the other hand worked wonders.

A few minutes later he had climbed out from his room window and rushed straight towards the forest. He couldn't see anything, but she couldn't have been too far, right? He trained his ears for any sounds, but only the near silent 'thunks' of something hitting wood caught his attention. That would be his target for now!

At the sound of a comotion rin stirred slight his right shoulder revealed a tattoo it was of a grey sword and a pair of wings behind it one white one black he stood up onto one knee and saw the girl in front of him. His mask half torn he groggily got up and walked to her. "Who are they?" he asked her quietly to not draw attention

Oni did as the kid told him to. He went up to the attic and grabbed a few sets of women clothes. Luckily he had gone through a lot of this stuff with Lukas before so he knew were to find some. He rushed back down stairs, tripping and falling a few times, to find the naked cat lady.

Rain heard him but stayed quiet a moment, finally answering “Relic wielding Witch Hunters… immune to direct magic attack of any kind.” She pulled the arrow from her arm with a soft whimper of pain, lowering one hand so the wood would shift long enough to pitch the arrow forward then putting it in front of them again so it’d block the second volly. “Can you move? If so……. Run, now, they’re just after me. I’ll handle it….” She gave a dark smile, stepping forward twice while still supporting the door to float in front of her and block the attacks for now. If she could get close enough she could fight by throwing objects as well as her bladed dual staff… The witch was damn good with a staff when needed…..

((Lily is the true identity of Rain’s little kitten Ebony. XD Lily was her human little sister…who died, yet mysteriously is here and could not take a humanish form or communicate till Rain remembered her.))

Lily shivered a little as he spoke of cloths, looking away and seeming embarrassed. She had no cloths so there wasn’t much she could do…if she could have she would have shifted into a clothed form. She took the clothing Oni brought her, putting them on though she knew she wouldn’t have energy to stay in a human form too long. She didn’t have much time…..she only looked at Oni closely and whispered “Rain must remember…. She must remember who she truly is…remember being Deirdra….” She then pitched forward against him a moment.

Oni was still weak so even though he tried to catch her it turned more into him grabbing her and them both falling over. He was able to cushion her landing though. He got out from under her and shook her lightly saying, "Hey lady are you okay? Lady wake up." He was getting worried and didn't know what to do.
