Arina looked up at the window and saw the bird. "Ahaha, why don't you come to the door silly bird, I can't reach that window." She said walking to the door and opening it.
|
Ti nodded as she told him where the room was and took Rain up there. He quickly checked her over, she didn't seem to have any injuries, so he just covered her with a blanket and closed the door behind him. He went to his room to quickly grab his sword cleaning things and a bottle of rum, and made his was back down the stairs. He went over to grab his blade, then sat at his usual place at the bar, opening the small leather bag. He waited for Arina to sit back down before starting the explanation.
|
Oni looked at Tal and asked meekly, "I really didn't hurt you? I hope not cause I don't like hurting people. Even if Rain says my bad thing makes me do bad things Oni doesn't like doing bad things." His stomach growled and he giggled. He started pilling food on his plate and wondered why plates weren't made bigger. As he was pilling his plate high something occurred to him and he said, "Lukas said dragons are tough so even though Tal's wings are soft the rest is strong right?"
|
[[dammit i have to go to bed]]
Arina sat down and made herself a plate and started to eat as she looked to Ti with that this better be a good explanation look. |
Pre'acha'n swooped in through the opened door, caw sounding almoist like a laugh when he did. He fell silent when he caught sight of Ti however, flying up to the rafters as fast as he could. Please don't eat me...
Talianda smiled, sitting down. "Yeah, but I have fur, not scales. Living higher in the mountains means that we don't have as many things that could try to eat us in return, and instead we grew fur, to keep warm," hesaid, then turned his attention to Ti. ((And Ti has the floor! haha)) |
Ti shifted a little, not too happy that he was under the spotlight. He took a swig of rum, then began. "They were hunters." He said, his eyes narrowing as he glared into the counter. "They were modern hunters, I have run into them a few times, but they weren't equipped for hunting Vampires, they were on a witch hunt. I had seen the commotion and went out to help, But there was a little boy.... He had a gun and seemed to know how to use it." He pulled the pistol out of his pocket, looking the gun over before putting it on the counter. "I don't think I've ever seen him around here, but his aura was familiar. At any rate, I didn't trust a child that knew how to use a gun. He had shot one of the hunters than jumped me, and Rain found us. She knew the hunter, that's for sure."
He took another swig of the burning liquid before continuing. "She damn near knocked him out, then passed out herself. It seemed like she was having trouble controlling her power... I made sure she was alive, turned back and the child was gone. I contained the hunter, picked her up then came back here. The hunter is still out there, but I want to leave the kill to Rain, my gut tells me it's her past, her vengeance. " he finished, starting to pull things out of the small bag. |
Oni replied to Tal, "So there are different types of dragons and Tal is a fuzzy one to stay warm. Okay I think I understand." Oni listened to Ti and wondered if it was the same boy he had met and said, "I think I meet the boy earlier today. He came from upstairs so I figured he was a guest. Also the other cat lady who is Rain's cat told me that Rain had to remember her family to get better." Oni was proud that he had remembered all of it. |
((Sorry guys XD, I had to get off the computer, my head hurt so bad XD. I'd reply but I don't know how long Ill last so yeah xD. Kitty will be cuddling and staying with Oni, Rain will be passed out and have a fever xD, annnd Janu will be asleep in a random corner))
|
Talianda looked at the top of the stairs. "Do we know if there are more or not?" he asked, holding his wings closer to his back. "Having people after any of us would be bad." The boy he remembered. "The boy is Dante, he has some kind of curse on him..."
Pre'acha'n shivered. Hunters? Not good. So glad I picked today to go out, I don't want them after me... But if they came here, any that got away might come back... I don't want to die yet! |
(( sorry I kinda drifted, I'm not doing to so well...))
Ti gave a dark laugh at Talianda's remark, then took a swig of rum. "I apologize, but there is always someone wanting a piece of me, and there will always been someone looking to kill a supernatural "freak" like so many of us are." He stared bitterly at the amber liquid, "I have no idea what cult they belong to or if there are more of them. I suppose we could question the live one before Rain gets to him." He sprayed a good-smelling oil on to his blade from a small bottle and began to clean the dirt and blood off as he spoke, the rag getting cut occasionally. |
((Well, it is nearly three... I should sleep myself))
|
(( yea... I have to go pass out. I swear I'm going to punch your brother like, five times ))
|
((Just don't kill him... I'm passing out, later all...))
|

D= ) |
A castle, out here? Where the hell was she being called to this time? If Saorla wasn't so cold and Dante didn't need her, she might have just turned right around and gone back home. But as it was, Violetta had called her up and asked her to come, which she agreed to do. The tall redhead pulled the fur shawl tighter around her shoulders and walked faster towards the building- too fast for mortal eyes to follow. It didn't take but a couple of seconds before she was standing inside, letting the warmth surround her. Now she just had to find Dante. "Hello?" Saorla called, loosening the shawl a bit from around her shoulders and shaking her head a bit to free the long red curls from under it. "Dante?" She felt silly standing there calling for him when she had no idea where he was, so she stepped farther inside, glancing around.
[[I didn't know I was supposed to submit a profile until after I posted, sorry sorry! D: Sherry asked me to come, and I did before reading the rules. I'm going job hunting right now, but when I get back I'll send the profile. :3 Sorry, again!]] |
He was thankful for Rain passing out last night. It had allowed him to get away, retrieve his short sword from one of the corpses, and sneak off to climb back up into his room window. Of course, his sister was wide awake and expected to hear his story of the events. She was never fond of fighting, after all. It seems he was fine after the events; perhaps it had allowed Dante to blow off some steam? Well, it didn't help enough. He was still crabby and irritable. She had left the room just to call up an old friend before turning back to sleep. In the morning the Irish red head would appear and, hopefully, her presence would help Dante. They had been best friends, after all.
- - - - - - - - - - And that was what led to the current situation. Dante was still tiny, and now fearing to even go downstairs. Another man, one that was very good looking at that, (though, sadly, taken by whom Dante presumed to be the owner of the place.) He had snuck downstairs in a pair of tiny khakis and a dark red dress shirt. He looked out for anyone else before breathing deep and relaxing. No sign of life. Then he'd just get something to eat- he hadn't had much of anything yesterday. Then, a voice caught his ears. So familiar. He stopped mid step and peeked over to see the Irish, fair skinned, red haired beauty. He blinked, unable to find words at first. Why was she here? It wouldn't compute until finally he added Violetta into the calculations. Of course... he groaned and lowered his head into his tiny hand. Violetta probably thought the only way to cheer him up was by his best friend, Saorla, or his boyfriend, Uriel. Wel, no one could keep contact with that vampire seeing as he always disappeared, so there would only be one choice. He smiled up at the woman finally, though his expression was fairly weak. "Saorla. Why are you here?" Thank God there was no one in the room. He'd rather no have any more issues. |
((*waves* XD. who's all here anyway? <.<))
|
( I am. D= )
|
((I'm here. . .sort of, lol))
|
((sort of? XD))
|
((wooooo I'm a ghost

((Lol so get on your main :P and Lilly/Ebony can sit in your lap and be all 'pout* Rain needs to remember more so I can stay in human form longer))
Rain awoke slowly, her hand still burning from fighting off the dragon. She rubbed her hand absently before casting a slight spell to exchange her clothing for clean ones as well as a pair of gloves as she stood. She was annoyed, her mind still remembering the laughter of that….that man currently pinned in the forest. She could do nothing for now…but she could go take it out on Dante. All she’d have to say was good morning and he’d yell at her she knew so she could yell right back at him now. She walked towards the door to his room, pushing it open to find Dante wasn’t there…Just Violetta. She sighed, rubbing her hand again through the glove a moment as she frowned at her. She hadn’t met her yet she didn’t’ think….something about her reminded her of Dante, however, were they related maybe? |
Violetta had been sifting through her violin case. Her violin had been placed to the side so that she could open up the fake bottom to get to a few items. That was when someone walked in. She had at first thought it to be Dante, but wasn't that strange? She was sure that he had gone downstairs. Unless someone chased him back upstairs for whatever reason.
She turned around, only to be surprised by the sight. A woman? "Ah, hello. did you need something?" Well, she was a bit irked. Never before had she imagined someone would barge into another's room. that was just rude. Back at home it was claimed suicide to do such a thing to her or her brother. |
Rain shrugged, surprised as Violetta. “Nah…was going to bug Dante about something but apparently he’s not here….” she said quietly, rubbing her wrist slightly as if it itched. She was holding her fingers odd…rather stiffly out of pain. The dragon had gotten her good this time…because she hadn’t unleashed it on anyone else all it’s fury was directed right back at her… She glanced at the violin, briefly a memory of her father stirred. He…He loved the violin and could play it well. He’d tried to teach her but Rain had no aptitude for the instrument, despite having desired to learn for her father. She slumped against the door frame a moment, seeing in her minds eye their small house and her father playing the instrument while her mother and she sang….She shook her head, seeing Violetta once more. |
"Ah, I see..." Violetta hummed before closing her violin case up and bringing her full attention to the woman. Her eyes fell on the stiff hand that the woman had been rubbing at before something ticked. Dante had told her about this woman. Rain, was it? what a very odd name. "Would it be about the events of last night?" She asked after a few moments. She smiled kindly to the woman, rain, waiting politely for her response.
