Arina turned her head hearing Talianda's voice "Oh my, it's been a while good sir." She greeted smiling. "Traveling much and what did you bring?" She asked moving towards him.

((Hehe you still could XD It'd be amusing and drammmmaaa since she's crushing on someone else. Can anyone say 'love triangle?' Ooohhh and I think that Ti's crushing on Arina still so it'd be very love triangle ish xD))

Hello" Janu greeted with a nodd, giving him a small smile. She couldn't help it and began to try and sneak another turn over.

((Yay love triangles! It sucks to be in one but they're so much fun to watch!))

"Tea. And some books on magical beings for Janu to read some of," he said, barely glancing Janu's direction before looking at Arina again. "I bribed one of my friends for this, though. I had to watch over her pups for a day. They terrorized me." He held out the jar. "It's sweeter than the green tea I had the other evening."

Janu tilted her head to the side, her ear twitching slightly. She never knew much about magical beings....being she’d been raised by her human mother. “thank….you” She murmured, though as he looked away before she could even say it she was a little confused. The feline shrugged slightly, nibbling on her snuck turnover.

Arina smiled "Well, it sounds like a wonderful tea, I shall make some to go with dessert, would you like a orange almond turnover? There's plenty" Arina invited Talianda to the table and went to get a tea kettle with some hot water.

"Yes, please," Talianda said to Arina, then turned to the ...human?... in front of him. "My name is Talianda, pleasure to meet you," he said, hesatantly grabbing hold of her hand. Her skin felt almost cool to him, but he knew that was because his kind's blood ran hotter than most. "Monty."

Janu tilted her head to the side but shrugged, why was he suddenly ignoring her. He’d been polite ot everyone before. Ah well, it wouldn’t be the first time someone went quiet on her. She didn’t even ask why anymore, often the answer hurt more then it helped. Instead she stayed silent and nibbled on her turnover, wondering what books he was talking about.

Vuri was up in her room taking a bath. She loved the feeling of warm water, it always relaxed her. she only wished she had brought a cup of tea with her, that would be the ultimate relaxation. She sunk into the tub more so that the water was just below her nose. She sighed. She couldn't let herself act like a cat. Having her new friends find out what she actually is would be shameful to her. Everyone else was some kind of extremely interesting being, when in Vuri's mind, she was still just a plain cat. Just with a new body. Vuri carefully picked a rose from a nearby vase and plucked a petal off, one at a time, and tossed it into the water she lay in.

((he's not ignoring her!!! I'm just a little slow...))

Talianda walked over to Janu, slipping around Monty in a single fluid motion. "Here," he said, pulling a bag off of his shoulder and holding it out to her. "I tried to find every book that had anything about them in it, and there aren't many. I just hope it's enough."

Janu nodded and looked up to give Talinda a smile. “Thank you” she repeated softly, taking a look over the books. She touched them a moment then gripped them closer, unsure exactly where to start. She also felt her old fears returning. What…what if she found she was some sort of evil monsteR?

Arina came back with a steamy kettle of hot water to brew the tea in. "If you'll do the onors Sir Talianda" Arina said setting the kettle in front of him and slipping back into her seat.

"I've read through them myself, and you don't seem to share... all of the characteristics, besides the tail thing," he said, leaning in a little closer than was probably necessary. She smelled good, and not the way the leftover food on the table or the turnovers did, but more like how one would think a flower smelled good. What am I thinking? Not proper! he eased back a little, giving her more room.

He looked up as Arina set the kettlr in front of him. "Oh, all right," he said, almost grateful for an excuse to move away. He pucked up the kettle, almost delicately, and poured tea for who all was there.

Janu blushed as he seemed to read her thoughts, though it also confirmed that she would find some things she didn’t like in there…but perhaps the knowledge would let her protect both her old family and her new one here from them. It might be the only way.

She felt him lean in but was more puzzled by it then anything. Janu thought very little of herself so would hardly think he meant to be close to her. Instead she could think of no reason why, feeling only a brief warmth from someone willingly getting so close to her. It made her feel special

Arina sipped at the tea and smiled "It's wonderful Talianda" Arina exclaimed and sipped at it happily her legs tucking under the chair. She finished the cup and then stretched a bit. "Oh the night is young, but poor arina is going to miss all the fun." She pouted a little "Oh well, off to bed for me ladies and gents, I hope to see you tomorow" she smiled kissed everyones cheek on her way out.

"Good night, Lady," Talianda said, sitting sideways in a chair and picking up a turnover. he bit into a corner. This is amazing, I'll have to get the recipe from her and give it to Tsaikrilah he thought devouring the pastry.

“Goodnight Arina” She stated with a wave and a smile, still eating some of the turnovers . She then glanced at Talinda and gave him a smile, tilting her head to the side briefly. He intrigued her for the same reason Arina did…they helped her, without any expectation of anything in return and for the life of her she couldn’t figure out why. “Are you going to stay here too?” she asked curiously.

"Probably not, I set up a nice little den a little ways away," Talianda replied. "Heh, knowing my luck, I would somehow hurt myself in a normal bed." He picked up the tea and took a sip. "I can smell several other people, who all is here?"

Goodnight Monty." she said with a wave and a smile before talking to Talinda agian. "Hmmm Another cat like being like myself named Vuri, Ti, Monty, arina, Mitsuyu who looks like a fox, hmm….I believe that’s it. Well other then me” She shrugged, waving her hand dismissively. She didn’t seem to think she was important to list, in so many ways. She then teased playfully, despite her shyness, “and how could you hurt yourself in a human bed? Unless you had company..” despite blushing.

Talianda blinked, then understood what she ment, blushing himself. "I... no... um..." He took in a breath and seemed to hold it for a bit before he calmed down again. "I would fall off and might break a wing. Our beds are just a mattress on the ground that we can store away during the day, but we barely use them. Most other Shikasha spend most of their time in their true forms," he explained, trying not to let his mind wander too much.

As he blushed Janu couldn’t help but think that it had been so worth the embarrassment to say it. She then shrugged, looking to the turnover she had as she ate the last bite. She inwardly pouted but shrugged and looked back up to him, resting her hands in her lap and leaning back in her chair. She tilted her head to the side, “what’s it like? …living around others who are just like you?” She asked it almost timidly, her mind turning to thinking deeply. Even when she’d appeared human due to her powers she’d never really been around anyone like her. Yes her family made her feel perfectly loved and welcome, but hse still always knew…she was different.
