Emeriya

Emeriya followed after Rain and sighed, letting herself relax.
"Geez, being around that man makes me get so...serious and angry..Men..."
She pushed herself up on the counter, sitting there and stretching her arms up, letting the stiffness in her muscles she felt melt away.
"So what you wanna eat?"
Smiling, she looked up at Rain, her emerald eyes aglow.

"Of course." Dante muttered back to Oni. "Of course we can. Tell me where you want to go. I'll stay with you." He let Oni go for a moment only to switch his grip on the boy. He held his against his chest bridal style before knee walking out from under the table and hefting him up. He thought of a few places from past conversations, sadly, only few came to mind. Those few weren't on the top of Dante's personal lists, but... this wasn't for him. It was for Oni.

"We can go anywhere quiet. A room? Outside? Can you think of anything, Oni?" He started heading off without hearing an answer. Everything peaceful could be found on the second floor except for the outside.

Rin at this point was through with the crass little girl and turned his attention toward this child. "Callousness can be the armor to help one survive in times when allying your emotions to another could be your cause of death. Not being attached could be the difference between you saving yourself and dying trying to save you and another in times of strife and war." Rin said blankly this one was interesting. A person leaps and bounds older than the husk they wore for a body. "You asked why I am still here?" He said to the one leaving the table. "I am here because this is the place I am stuck in at this time. I am here for a reason just as the rest of you are simple as that."

Rain simply nodded, looking down at the ground. She wasn’t very fond of him but she found him like most people who had lived longer then the others around them. Old humans were the same way, grumpy and sure they knew so much more and were so much better then others. She really didn’t care…They knew more facts but they seemed to forget the most important thing…….how to enjoy life.

To the question of food she simply shrugged, perching up next to her. She then smiled softly, looking at the other. “Whatever you want, food’s food.” She said simply. She then leaned forward on her arms a moment, simply yawning slightly. She felt so tired… the past two days had been hell… and if lily’s warning was true it was going to get worse.

Oni curled up to him and replied softy, "I don't care . .just want to be with Dante and not so many people." Oni just wanted quiet and to only be with one person right now. He was having trouble dealing with everything. He didn't want to be alone but unlike most times now he didn't want to be around a lot of people.

((I'm having massive brain farts. Sorry not enough sleep. Mac n cheese. . himmm))

Ah, she really liked this boy! Chie giggled at his reply, leaning back into the door frame more and twisting about so she could see him better. He was so incredibly rude and blunt. She cocked her head slightly and replied in a curious tone. "But is this really a time of strife or war?" She grinned. "I have been witness to countless wars and disasters, but this resembles none of them." Thinking about her past now, Chie wondered briefly if she had ever been photographed - she couldn't recall ever allowing anyone to take her picture though, so she figured it was nothing to concern herself with... She blew the errant thought away, returning her full attention to the interesting man before her as the others all cleared the room.

Emeriya

Emeriya got down a sec and made some grilled cheese, made a few for everyone else. Making two plates she hopped back up on the counter next to Rain and handed her a plate.
"After this we should get to bed. Seems you've had a long day and I'm still tired..."
She laughed to herself. She felt kind of ill. Probably just fatigue.
"Will you alright by yourself tonight? I can stay with you again if you like."
Smiling she looked at Rain out of the corner of her eye, unintentionally and unknowingly pushing a small aura.
"I dont mind."

"Mmmh... then let's go relax." Well, for Oni it'd be relaxing. But that was what mattered, right? He sighed and headed upstairs before carrying Oni straight towards the baths. The kid always tried to drag men there. He seemed to like it more than any other place.

He walked into the baths and shut the door behind them, locking it to make sure no other men intruded on the party. Well, it wouldn't be much of a party. Dante wouldn't be Dante for very long. Oni would find out; he'd be an embarrassed mess and... fuck, he wanted to go home!

He carefully helped onto to his feet, making sure he was steady as a light blush too his cheeks. "You're alright from here, Oni? Right?" Well, he wasn't sure if that immortal chick had done a good enough job on his leg or not to be honest. He didn't want him crying in pain again.

Pre'acha'n's stomach made a noise, and he hurried into the kitchen to find food. "Hi, Rain, hi, um..." He looked at the other woman, noticing her aura held traces of something dangerous. "Um, I don't think we've met..." He figeted, ready to run if she made any sudden move.

"Better to prepare for the worst than not be ready am I right? I am a believer in being ready for anything, yet the most curious thing I have ever seen in here would have to be you. You must be several lifetimes ahead of the shell your in. Soul swapping magic perhaps?" Rin mused. This was fun at least someone it seemed was on his level of thinking about things. "So may I have the name of the girl testing my logic and thinking capablities?" Rin asked casually.

Oni was glad Dante was taking him to the bath. The warm water always made him feel better. He was still very shaky but he could tell Dante did not really want to have to help him. Oni leaned against the wall and then sat on the floor. With some support of the wall and the floor Oni managed to get undressed but it took some time. Oni was able to stand up with some help from the wall and slipped into the tub.

Dante didn't watch; why would he? He wasn't a pedophile. He liked them at least a little older. He sighed, waiting until he heard Oni slip into the tub before walking over as sitting on the side. He felt overheated and nauseous. His heart was racing. His breathing was irregular. He felt terrible. "How's the water?" He asked before feigning a smile to Oni. "Is it relaxing enough?"

The water felt nice but wasn't nearly as distracting as he had hoped. "It's warm. This is better, thanks Dante," he said softly. Oni could tell Dante was feeling off. . .Dante did that few times around him. Quietly but a little hurt Oni said, "You don't have to stay Dante. I know something bothers you, I feel it. It's happened before to. I make you feel uncomfortable."

Rain took a grilled cheese quietly and began to nibble slightly on it hungrily. “Yeah… I am tired…” she agreed absently, though mainly focused on the food…. And Lily’s warning. She was so distracted that she didn’t even notice the aura, merely aware that the clinging curves of Eme’s Cami seemed a little tighter to her. That was strange.

She then spoke, her eyes glancing into Emeriya’s a moment. “Sure Emeri” Rain answered, reacting on her instincts. She wouldn’t mind something warm and soft to cuddle up to… She’d had a kitten with her every night for five years after all… Still… she knew part of her wanted the cuddle for more then the warmth… though she gave little thought to the future.

Oh? She was the most curious thing? Her lips curved into a devious smile so incredibly unbefitting of a child's face that it was laughable. Soul swapping magic? At this she had to laugh; a short chuckle escaping her. She was no magician, as far as Chie was concerned, to live forever was a horrible curse. "Sorry, but I'm no magician," the young girl laughed and smiled, "I'm not human at all - at least not by most standards." It was quite fun to banter with him, so when he asked her name she gave it readily. "Chie. Chie Tsukino - though it's not my true name. It's been so long that I've forgotten the name I was originally given." She continued to rest on the top step with her back to the door frame, not making any move to rise. Well then, she'd given hers. "And you would be...?"

"Nah, it's not you." Dante huffed. He rubbed his face as his hands grew shaky and his eyes dazed. Sweat was already building up a film across his body. He was sweltering in this damned heat! "I promise it's not you, Oni. I like your company." He grinned to the boy as he hunched forward, tugging uncomfortably at the collar of his shirt. He didn't have long. Dammit, he'd just reverted back!

Emeriya

Emeriya nodded and finished her sandwich, placing the plate down and leaning back on her hands, laying her head back and rolling it side to side to get rid of the stiffness. She let her legs kick back and forth gently and silently.
"Alright then."
She smiled to herself, staring at the ceiling, then closed her eyes as her aura slowly drifted to Rain, unaware of it.
"It was nice having company."
Emi opened one eye and looked at the birdman.
"There's grilled cheese if you're hungry."

"Um... miss?" Preachan said, inching away from Emeriya. "Please get a hold of your arua. It's creepy..." He darted to the other side of the kitchen, pretending to look through the cupboards to find something to eat. "Oh..." He looked back, staring at the grilled cheese. "Sure..."
