She blinked as Dante came down the stairs, red pupil-less eyes watching him as he went behind the bar. Chie's attention turned back to Oni and his rather entertaining reaction. She laughed at his exclamation, the sound chime-like. Her eyes followed his hand calmly as it went to touch her and then hesitated. Her lips quirked into a grin when he asked if it was all right to touch her. "It's quite all right, young one, I'm very used to being touched." Most people got a thrill out of tracing the dark blue patterns across her pale blue skin, especially because her tattoos were basically raised bits of skins, much like braile on a page.
She laughed as Michi exclaimed the same thing and immediately hugged her, telling her she should always be like this. Chie smiled a bit wryly, and explained. "It would be far too bothersome to always have this appearance, I stand out too much." She chuckled then and patted the girl's head as she hopped onto the counter and declared it "pancake time". Her head turned to the door as she heard a knock. "Hmm, it would appear someone has arrived..." She looked down at the child, smiling kindly. EDIT: {*pauses* nevermind o_O ...actually my post works just fine ^^; :P lol ....oooh, and um, I think blue would be good, kuma! :3 *obviously her favorite color is blue*} |
Dante blinked, then shook his head to bring himself back. Damn he was tired. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes, though only finding it harder to open them moments later. "Tyr." He admitted before opening the door wide. "I stay here. It's an Inn you know." He feigned an innocent smile, which actually turned out more famous than any of his previous due to his tired eyes. "Are you going to stay here too?"
It took a long, long while, but Dante spotted another stranger coming up towards the place. He stepped back, wobbling a bit before hold him head. He was burning up. He needed his Gin. Fuck it. The guy may be hot as all Hell, but he'd have no chance with him. Dante could hardly have sex unless he got over this 'strange' fear of pedophiles. "W-Welcome..." He muttered before heading off back to his seat. He didn't even sit on the couch. Instead he plopped down on the floor, using the couch as a back rest as he picked up his drink once more and sipped the throat burning contents. ( Teal-blue and gray-red. ) |
“Meri?” Rain asked quietly as she saw her holding her throat, a little worried. She raised an eyebrow, debating over her words. Nervous? Could be but she wasn’t quite sure… Biting her own lip a moment she reached out to touch just over Emeriya’s hand gently, watching her. She thought back to when she’d bit Dante, debating if it was anything like that. She knew the other wamn felt a thirst… but she’d thought that she’d been given some pills by Dante….but perhaps not. |
Yin looked up, upon seeing the man standing at the door be greeted by a young child. A similiar question was running through his mind. This was the Inn right? He hadn't taken a wrong turn? Yin was slightly confused but didn't make anything of it, simply because it seemed like an Inn, so he supposed it was.
Those honey eyes from the building to the man once more tilting his head slightly. Taking out the lollipop from his mouth he responded to the simple statement. "Hello?" He spoke, his voice was distant as he made his way towards them, dressed in casual clothing an teenager would wear, something no assassin would wear at least. But then that would be the point, that is if he were on duty, which he thankfully wasn't. Yin took notice of the young child taking a step back after looking at him, he blinked watching as the child muttered a 'welcome' before retreating back inside. 'That was a bit strange...' Yin thought curiously, rolling the lollipop lightly between his fingers before popping it back into his mouth. It had piqued his interest to find out what was wrong. |
Oni reached out and gently ran his fingers over her skin and repeated, "It's so pretty." Oni felt a weird twinge. She was really pretty. . .pretty like. . .he couldn't put his finger on it. She was pretty in a way that he thought Lukas was handsome. It was strange. . .he had never felt that way about women before.
Oni went over to the doorway and peeked out wanting to see the new arrivals. He wondered what they were like. ((thanks guys that helps ^-^ )) |
Emeriya Emeriya leaped up into a tree and lightly sat on a branch looking down at Rain.. "I havent been taking Dante's pills...My thirst is getting feirce...f...." She bite her lip. "..for you.." Gabriel Gabriel shrugged following the boy. "Maybe if the people are to my liking." He grinned at the boy, flashing his fangs breifly. "Any alcohol in this place..?" |
It tickled slightly when he ran his fingers over her skin, but she didn't flinch away. Actually Chie was quite pleased her little plan had worked. She'd figured that seeing her real appearance would be enough of a fascination to distract him from whatever he wanted to be distracted from. She didn't really like to think of it as meddling because she was only being helpful...besides, it'd been centuries since she'd relaxed and reverted back to her actual form, it felt extremely pleasant.
Chie watched Oni as he drifted over to the doorway to see who the new people were, chuckling slightly. Glancing to Michi she said gently, "Does Michi want to go see them too? You could ask them if they want pancakes?" Chie grinned at the child. Well, she was already making some for them, it wouldn't really be a bother to make more. |
Rain watched as she leaped upwards, raising her other eyebrow before letting them sink back into place. She watched the other in thought a moment, shaking her head a little as she let a small smile cross her lips. “I offered you blood once sweetheart, why should I offer to donate again.” She teased slightly, sticking out her tongue at the other girl. Wel well well….this explained a lot. She stood with her hands on her hips a moment, glancing back at the two men heading inside a moment before turning back to ‘meri. |
Oni spotted Dante and realized that was a perfect way to get a better look at the new people. Oni ran over to Dante careful not to just hug him. Quietly he asked, "Who are the new people?"

Dante looked to the hot stud that had followed him and nodded slowly. "Ah, behind the bar. I'm sure no one will stop you if you raid it." He muttered before looking up. His eyes caught sight of Oni. He was silent for a long moment before leaning back and relaxing. "They're two knew guys. That's all I know. Do you want me to get their names for you?"

Oni couldn't help but be curious and answered, "Okay, thanks Dante." He gave Dante a smile. Dante was so helpful and nice. Oni got an idea, "Dante what kinds of things do you like? I want to get you a present. I never bought a present for anyone before. . since I didn't have friends. I want to do something for you."

Dante only absorbed half of want Oni had said. He blinked a few times before looking down at his drink. Huh... no one noticed a kid had alcohol? Not even the newcomers? He had expected something, even a snide remark. "I have a lot of money, Oni..." He said softly before smiling up at the boy. "You don't have to buy me anything. I much more prefer something hand made." Welll, you couldn't buy handmade! Well, you could... but at least it had some symbolism or care or whatever, right? Anyone could go out and buy something, after all. It was a mindless task. When making something, though, your mind is constantly on the person the gift is for.

Yin walked into the Inn, taking note of the room, quite a few occupied it's space. He watched as the other newcomer as where the alcohol was. Since he was only nineteen he didn't drink as he preferred the sweets he loved, even if they were bad for him. But he wondered why the kid was drinking Alcohol. It wasn't any of his damn business, what with so many different people in the world, Yin just didn't know.
Yin stayed slightly out of any one person's way, he wasn't a social butterfly until you got him to open himself up. His left index and thumb slowly turned the white stick that connected to the flavorful lollipop he currently sucked on as he observed the room with those honey golden eyes, he had taken a seat. |
Oni sort of pouted and said,"But I'm not smart Dante. I don't know how to make anything." Now he was out of luck. Buying something was easy and Oni could do that. . .wait no he couldn't. He frowned. He forgot how bad he was at numbers. Xanic had always paid for everything so Oni didn't know how to count money. Now that he thought about it Xanic always had a little card that he would take to a machine and machine would give him money. Oni would have to find the card and a machine for the card.

Dante sighed and shook his head. "Then we'll make something together. It's more fun like that, right?" He smiled up at Oni before closing his eyes and taking down the rest of his drink. He put the empty glass aside, already feeling the bitter alcohol's effect. His body felt warm and light and... numb.
He yawned and stretched, though neither could keep him awake. "Goodnight..." He mumbled before curling up on the floor where he had been sitting. It was only seconds until he had started slipping away. |
Oni was going to answer him but Dante had passed out. Oni didn't try to lift him thinking that he would just end up dropping him or waking him up. Oni went and got a blanket and pillow. Coming back to Dante he gently lifted his head and placed the pillow under it. Getting the blanket he covered him up and smiled.
He got up and very shyly went over to the new person with golden eyes and said softly, "Hello. I'm Oni." |

Chie left the small girl on the counter to briefly go ask if anyone else wanted pancakes. The pale blue woman walked to the doorway between the kitchen and the general area with the bar. Her dark blue, wavy hair drifted mere centimeters above the floor and her steps were lithe and graceful - not that they hadn't been the same in her human appearance, it was just far more graceful in her real form. "Would the newcomers also like pancakes? I'm making chocolate chip pancakes right now," she asked the two new people, her voice soft and demure - she was also being relatively quiet to let Dante sleep. Dark red, pupil-less eyes glanced at the golden-eyed man with his lollipop, and then to the other stranger who had also entered. No doubt they had never seen a creature like her before. Her skin was entirely pale blue with tattoos the same hue as her hair covering every inch of her body and she had no white around her eyes nor any black pupil in the center, they were a solid red hue. |
Yin looked up at the teen upon hearing a soft Hello. Glancing up he took full notice of him, he didn't seem much younger than himself, probably only a few years. Yin slowly pulled the lollipop from his mouth and smiled slightly.
"Hello Oni, my name is Yin." He introduced himself, after standing up and smiled, he had straight white teeth, but his canines seemed slightly longer no like a vampires but more like an animals, feline. Yin bowed his head in greeting before he jerked back up to look at the woman. He looked at her for a few moments with slightly wide eyes. Normally he wouldn't be affected by these types of things, but how could he not to this? She was blue, literally, her skin was blue. After a moment he recovered. He shook his head, pancakes normals were fine with him, but chocolate made him feel sick. "Ah, I'll have to pass on that offer. |
Oni smiled at how friendly Yin seemed to be. Oni noticed the lollipop right away and said, "Do you like sweets too? A lot of us here have a sweet tooth so they keep the kitchen stocked with all kinds of candy. I could show you? They have these hard candies that are red and purple that taste really good. I don't know what they are called though."
Oni looked at Yin this time studying his face and said, "Wow your eyes are really pretty." Oni blushed a little. |
Chie chuckled at the golden-eyed man's reaction - perhaps it would be better to use her human form... but he recovered and politely declined. The woman nodded slightly, a pleasant smile on her lips. "Sorry, my appearance is a bit shocking... anyway, I do suppose it's a bit odd for some." Her apology turned into her reply for his declining the pancakes, commenting that chocolate chip pancakes might be odd. She paused briefly, thinking a moment. "Well, if there is anything you'd like, let me know...and Oni, my goodness, candy for breakfast?" The woman raised an eyebrow quizzically, laughing at the thought of having candy for breakfast... not that chocolate chip pancakes were all that far off.
Chie walked back into the kitchen, chuckling to herself. Well now, she'd whip up some pancakes for the three of them... It took very little time to mix the batter and pour it into a frying pan. She did three at a time, carefully cooking them until they were golden brown. Her lips turned upward in a smile, she couldn't remember the last time she'd actually cooked something for herself. Oh well, she'd watched it be done hundreds of thousands of times, so actually doing the cooking was not terribly difficult. |
Yin looked back at Oni, and noted right away that despite his shy demeanor at first glance he seemed rather friendly. Yin nodded to what he was saying. He did have a sweet tooth, not a big one, but he did like lollipops and other hard candies, anything else made him sick. He wasn't all too sure why.
Yin blinked blushing slightly at the random comment about his eyes. He wasn't used to them being called pretty, most strange or weird, or sometimes people would go ' what's up with your eyes? Are you wearing contacts?' people were just weird. "Um...thank you." He spoke after a second, he really wasn't used to complements like that, really. Glancing back at the woman he simply smiled, she seemed nice enough if you got past the blue skin. |
"You're welcome," Oni said to him. He went to grab Yin's hand so he could show him were the candy was but then remembered that most people don't like being touched. He said, "Um I could show you were to get the candy?" Oni liked it when he knew things and could be helpful. He was generally pretty useless and he wanted to change that.

Yin smiled not really caring that Oni went to grab his hand. His smile grew at the suggestion, okay, Yin did have a sweet tooth, he loved hard candies, they were fun to suck on. "Sure!" He said, smiling, those golden orbs danced with delight. Yin had actually wanted to ask Oni later if he could show him, but since it was offered now, why not? It seemed to him that Oni was a generally nice, though shy person, but he'd probably become friends fast with him, though he could be wrong, he just assumes. .

Oni went into the kitchen and smiled at the lady. He then went to the pantry and showed Yin where all the various candy was. He pointed to a bag and said, "These are the ones I was telling you about. They are really good." Oni got a handful and went to hand them to Yin,"There you can put them in your pocket for later."
A small light bulb went off in Oni's head and he turned to the blue lady and said, "I'm sorry but I don't think I ever got your name?" He felt so rude now. How could he go all this time without asking? |
