Rin just sent out a simple pulse to Chie. "Meet me at the gates in about an hour ok. I have to go meet up with someone." Rin set off in his own direction. He followed the map to memory and ended up at a small parts shop of sorts. I guess you could call it and odds and ends place. He walked inside and placed his hand gently on the counter. "I am here to see a man who still believes in the path of the grey line." He said to the attedant and he nodded leading Rin to a back room where a man was sitting down. Rin took a seat across from him. "It is good to see you once more Jalen." Rin said in a flat tone.

"As it is good to see you still alive and well Rin. Antioch still lives on in your mind body and soul. The hunters and rebukers are still looking for you I hope that you have kept a low profile?"

"Of course I have. Doing my best to keep out of trouble I will not go back to that lab while I still breath." He said with a bit of venom on his tongue.

Jalen laughed at him as they chatted over things for a while then he handed Rin several bags. "These are the components you asked for alone with all the supplies you asked for. They should last you for several months. If I may ask though what are the components for?"

Rin looked at him and did something Rin did not do alot. He smiled. "I will master the oblivion word. When I do I will take the fight back to them. Jalen take care I will be in touch."

Rin got up and walked out of the establishment before any objections could be made concerning the oblivion word. He went out into the bust streets walking casually, but knowing he was being followed by some people. They could be anyone honestly, but he was ready for them. He had to be careful because he had to go back and get Chie.

Oni could feel hatred and rage that wasn't his boiling up inside of him. He experienced the fury Xanic felt and the last whelm of fear he felt before he died.

Oni fell over as more memories and thoughts pulsed through him. He flew back in time when they were they were young. It was the first time Xanic had locked Oni away and would not let him out at all. The Director was there with other people from the facility and they hurt Xanic. Hurt him badly trying to see just how far his regeneration would go. The Director telling Xanic it was for his own good so he would better be able to protect Oni. Xanic trusting the man because the Director was the closest thing they had ever had to a father, to a family. The torment he endured all exploded with in Oni's mind now.

Oni tried to let out a scream but could not. More memories flooding in of the time they left the inn to go to town. The Director picking them up for a check up. Oni being shoved inside once again by Xanic. The Director telling Xanic that soon Oni would die if Xanic did blend their minds into one being. Xanic affraid of losing the the closest person to him. The Director telling Xanic everything he must to in order to make the blend. Suddenly Xanic's is strapped down as the facility doctors systematically cut him all over preparing him for the blend. Xanic's pain at trying not to regenerate. Oni could feel Xanic start to go slightly mad with the help of some drugs the Director shoots into him with a needle before he is given to the men for the dump.

Oni was having trouble breathing as all these memories and feelings hit him. His own horror at what had happened to his brother, but it was not over yet.

Now Xanic's body being dumped as he slides back inside biding his time and beginning the blend. He knows he must lie to Oni to save his brother. No one will hurt them and he will not let Oni die. He know's Oni will do as he says if he thinks he is saving Xanic so he lies. His heart is both in glee at the pain and torn in two. Since last seeing the Director Xanic can not think properly, at times he knows he is going crazy and other times he just needs to hurt.

Everything goes full circle back to Xanic's death. Oni now screams and wonders how he could have so completely failed his brother. Oni's body now lies still as his mind could not longer handle the strain. He is unconscious.

Rain blushed faintly at the kiss, stirred from her inner thoughts a moment. She smiled faintly, reaching over and stroking the girls hair as she watched her a moment. “Honey…You’ve seen my back, you know better then to think this even rates the term scar…” She responded with a dark laugh, wrapping her arm around ‘Meri’s waist and leaning her cheek on the other’s soft raven hair. “Besides…..I’m happy right now…” She added truthfully as she closed her eyes a moment. She held onto the feeling and the faint feminine scent of ‘Meri’s hair, then turned and took a couple more bites of her macaroni and cheese, humming slightly to herself the song the other had early sung. Where was everyone else though? there was never just two people at the Inn...

(( Oni's spirit wakes up crazy and goes on a killing rampage, HAHAHAHAHA! ))

Emeriya

Emeriya yawned. She was tired, the high in her body slowly dieing. Knowing Rain needed her sleep too she waited until she was done eating and the would suggest bed. Every night It was she who held rain, yet tonight she felt like being held..Would Rain do so?...or would it be too weird..I guess she'd find out soon.

The witch continued to nibble at her food, her mind lingering from subject to subject. It felt good to have a warm body at her side…Shaking her head of the thought Rain took her last bites, before slipping her arm from around the other girl so she could grab a cup of coffee before bed. She glanced towards the other a moment, sipping the cup in that slow, careful way she did when she was thinking. Just what was developing between them? She then dismissed it as soon as she wondered it.



((XD .... Rain'd just be all 'O.O I thought Xanic was dead...' not able to think of Oni doing something like that xd))

Emeriya

Emeriya looked up sleepily at Rain.
"Can we head to bed? I just got really tired..."
She could feel her high crashing, just as it always did, but this high was different. It was intoxicating and...arousing? Like and aphrodisac, in Rains blood? Emeriya thought it over and blushed very subtley. She felt so tired lately...She looked down at her clothes and smiled.
"I'm all ready for bed too."

Alright Meri’” She said quietly in reply. Rain then started towards the room, her coffee still in hand. Playfully she bowed then held out a hand for the other girl, her mind still wandering….and her eye doing a similar wandering over Emeriya’s curves before returning to the others emerald eyes. Once she took her hand Rain would start upstairs, still sipping her coffee in thought.

A deer walks through the woods and spots a strange patch of grass. It slowly goes over and sniffs it then takes a small nibble. It does not taste good. The deer moves on. A bit of Oni's hair is now a little shorter.

((hehehe, fun with forest animals. You two are so cute together >.< Meri and Rain ^_^ I am so rooting for you guys.

Emeriya

Emeriya took her hand and followed her sleepily up the stairs and into her room. She watched the was Rain's body moved as the ascended the stairs and went to Rain's room. She started to wonder what was happening, this is the third night Emi would be sleeping in Rain;s room. Emeriya wasnt wasn't worried, but...happy? Yes. Happy. She liked not being alone anymore...It was nice to be warm throughout the night, knowing someone was there beside you. As they entered Rain's room Emi sat on the bed, not needing to get dressed.

(( he ran away from Rin in terror into the forest. Got all of Xanic's most painful memories and feelings then passed out, lol. I think it's perfectly hilarious. For once he needs to be left some where with no one rushing to save him, hehe. I really want to have him be left there till morning when everybody realizes he's missing XP ))

Rain released ‘Meri’s hand long enough to sit down her almost empty coffee cup and with a few hand gestures exchange her clothing for her usual small silk nighty. Normally showing her scars like that might make her nervous but honestly she didn’t care. She simply then walked to the bed, laying silently on the right side of the bed. Absently she stroked a fingertip down ‘Meri’s back, enjoying the feeling before dropping her arm. She didn’t know why …but it just felt good to have her there….



((well it's likely XD. Unless I had Janu randomly go for a walk but honestly I'm kinda not in the mood lol Xd. I need to start using her again. ))

{bleck, I'm sorry rin x_x *completely zoned out* it's 2:30am...usually I'm not this out of it right now o_o ...*attempts a decent post*}

Ah, the town was still more or less as she remembered it. All the shops were in the same places...sort of...okay, not at all. Chie looked more than a little lost as she scanned all around her. Ummm... but luckily for her a nice old woman came up! "You lost, little girl?" Ah! A person! Chie turned to her with a most grateful expression, "Yes, yes! Could you please tell me where the grocery store is?" The old woman smiled kindly at her and pointed her in the right direction. As Chie darted off she thanked her lucky stars that the woman hadn't recognized her, because Chie had recognized the old woman. Seriously, she'd been cared for by far too many humans!

Wandering through the aisles of food, Chie gazed at several selections with a hungry expression and...bingo! A kind young lady offered to buy the food for her. And now she was walking cheerily along the busy street with a bag of groceries clutched to her chest, beaming like an idiot. By chance she bumped into a stranger, an apple escaping her bag as they collided. "Ah! Apple!" She reached out towards it as it fell to the ground and rolled away. Of course, instead of a corteous 'I'm so sorry' what she got was, "Watch where you're going stupid girl!" And that just about did it for Chie's temper. "Pardon, but you ought to watch your tongue! You pompous geezer!" Red eyes glared at the man who stared at her rather incoherently, though it was clear he was angry but he didn't seem to understand what he was angry at... Oh well, it was becoming a small scene now and people were looking...Chie really didn't like that. She flushed, snatching up the escaped apple and turning to leave.

Emeriya

Emeriya shivered as she felt Rain's finger go down her back. she proceeded to lay down on her side and face Rain. Lifting her hand she stroked rain's cheek, it was soft under her hands...and cold...really cold...was she sick? Or did Emi have a fever? She dismissed it and just looked into Rain's mismatched eyes. As she slowly closed her own emerald green eyes she snuggled closer to Rain, cuddling up against her and resting her head against her chest.

Rin put a hand on Chie's shoulder and bent down to her whispering into her ear. "Keep it cool we have two guys tailing me I'll handle this guy and then we will get out of here in the chaos ok?" Rin stood up to his full height at this point and looked at this man. "What seems to be the problem? It seems like you have a problem with my companion here, and well any issues you have with her your more than welcome to take up with me." Then man began to ramble and then threw a punch at Rin hitting him in the face. Rin rushed at the guy like he was going to punch him in the stomach, however in the split second before the hit he whispered. "Shadow word: Rupture." The punch landed and the guy fell over with his stomach rupturing slightly. He would not die from it but he would remember what he did for a long time now.

Rin turned quickly while everyone including the people tailing him were attending to the man. He grabbed Chie's hand and mouthed the words. "Let's get moving now before they follow us and catch up to us. Power word: accel" After he had finished the spell he had picked her up again and was dashing out fast enough to keep people from tracking them. He got them back to the door of the inn and sat her down. "See why you never get involved with me now?" He asked flatly.

Glancing down Rain’s green and purple gaze flowed over ‘Meri’s face, closing her eyes a moment as she felt a hand against her cheek. Instinctually she wrapped an arm over the other woman’s back, her fingertips splayed slightly so they could make four gentle paths along the half vampire’s skin. She let her hand pause about mid back and simply held an arm around Emeriya. Rain stared into space a moment, thinking over her sisters words again as she simply held the warm body close enjoying the freckled beauty.

Emeriya

Emeriya breathed slowly, listening to the sound of Rains heartbeat. It was very soothing...rythmic...unchanging...Emeriya wrapped one arm around Rain's waist. She felt so warm and welcomed the coolness of Rain's nightgown on her arm. What were they becoming...? She felt...happy with Rain...safe...and..normal? Emeriya stayed still, not wanting to ruin the moment. It was...perfect. The only thing was...Emi didnt know how Rain felt...what if to Rain this was just...a thing between two friends?...Emi remained unmoved, in the back of her mind she was afraid that if she did so Rain would push her away.

Rain absently touched her chin against the top of ’Meri’s head, her eyes closing as she absently stroked the other woman’s back. She stayed silent a moment, thinking of Lily. This is why Lily wanted to time it now…for the first time since the death of their family Rain had someone other then lily…That little sneak she thought with a sad smile. She tilted her head a little and kissed the top of ‘Meri’s head, briefly clinging to her. She just hoped that she was ready for the battle Lily predicted….. She then murmured to herself something her mother always use to say, “Everything happens for a reason…”

Emeriya laid still.
"And in time, the reasons are revealed as the chain reaction unfolds..."
She pulled herself closer to Rain, letting sleep take her away, to a place were we were all equal, and there were no dark forces threatening the beautiful woman who held her.
