‘Meri….” Rain said softly, holding Emeriya’s hand a moment. She nodded, saying softly “of course….” She closed her eyes before kissing her forehead a moment. “You’re going to have to let me go to go get it though…” She said softly, biting her lip harder as she drew back from the other woman. She felt anxious, remembering Lily….who had just died with a fever less then a week prior….. Janu sighed, unsure as she ran into the inn. She lay Oni on the couch, running and covering him with a blanket as she looked down at him. “hey….can you hear me?” She asked softly as she tucked the blanket around him to warm him up… She was no healer… |
Emeriya Emeriya nodded and let go, her forehead was sweating. She kept thinking about Rain, and how peaceful they had just been lying together...damn her fever.. |
Oni mumbled incoherently and slowly opened his eyes. He croaked out in a small raspy voice,"I . .I. . feel funny." Oni had never been sick before and didn't realize he had a sore throat and a fever.

Rain sighed as she was released, shaking her head. She then turned and walked out, getting a glass of water from the kitchen. She bit her lip, seeing Oni on the way out. Hissing slightly she walked to him, casting a healing spell to help what she could. She spoke to him softly, “Oni….stay with Janu, she’ll keep you safe…..” Was everyone going to have a fever? Rain worried to herself, heading up stairs to give ‘Meri her water. Rain felt like a mother…and it annoyed her. She suppressed her emotion as best she could, trying not to get upset or panic. She then reached Emeriya, handing her the water. She reached forward and touched her cheek, whispering softly “Don’t leave me….” Janu watched the healer and nodded, biting her lip. She wasn’t sure what to do but she did know she would stay with him as she was told. She climbed up next to him, holding him in her lap. “It….It will be okay. Can I get you anything?” She asked quietly. ((wheeee one of my characters who has no problem with being touched lol xD. )) |
Oni snuggled up to the warmth, his throat feeling better after someone had touched him. He opened his eyes and saw the cat lady. He gave a weak smile and said softly, "Hi cat lady." Oni wasn't positive but it seemed he had not seen her in a long while. "Did you go off somewhere? I'm glad your back though," he said quietly.

I guess so… I don’t know..” Janu admitted quietly, shaking her head. “Something happened and for a while I couldn’t remember anything.” The feline shrugged, rubbing Oni’s arm slightly. She knew she liked that when she wasn’t feeling well. Staring into space she then added, “But I’m glad to be here too…”

Emeriya Emeriya tried to smile as she saw Rain and took the water. She pulled herself up, leaning against the head board so she could drink. She looked up in surprised as Rain spoke. Her eyes softened and she weakly reached out to touchRain's cheek. "I wont..." Holding the cold water she slowly drank, welcoming the cool sensation in her throat. |
Oni said to her, "I wish I could forget everything. It must be so nice." No. . .no not the memories agian. Oni grabbed his head with his hands and shut his eyes tightly. He focused on forcing all of them away. All the memories and feelings . .he could not bear what his brother had gone through. He opened his eyes and looked at Janu sadly, "Make me forget, please. Please." He felt no shame in begging this of her. If she could make herself forget maybe she could do the same for him as well.

Rain seemed surprised, as if she hadn’t meant to say it allowed. She blushed slightly and touched ‘Meri’s hand in thought. She simply nodded then and sat next to her, putting a hand on Emeriya’s shoulder gently. She frowned, wanting to heal her but knowing that it wasn’t something she could. Softly she whispered, “Is there anything else I can do?” she sighed inwardly, uncertain. Janu sighed and hugged him closer, putting her chin on his shoulder. “I wish I could…..but I can’t. It was something someone else did. I don’t know why…..I think there’s something important that I need to remember. I know forgetting doesn’t feel as good as you’d think….Just focus on the good ones, those are the important ones……bad things will always happen but Good things will too…” Janu said softly, squeezing in a gentle, comforting gesture. |

Oni held on to her and said, "I don't care. It hurts to much." He laid his head down and whispered, "I can't tell who I am anymore. Everything is getting all jumbled inside." He was worried since he woke up. Part of him knew he was Oni but there were large parts of him now that felt like Xanic. Feelings about people that weren't Oni's to begin with. It was confusing how he could both hate and love someone at the same time.

Dante was... content. He was warm, cuddled up in a big blanket, and very, very cozy. He almost didn't want to wake up. He stirred, but stayed laying for a bit longer, relaxing and enjoying the fuzzy feeling that all these lovely items from a couch, to a pillow, to a blanket gave him. He blinked his heavy eyes as looked around before sucking in air through his mouth and sitting up. His nose was congested again, and his head felt heavy. A head cold. Fantastic.
It was probably caused by the two lesbians and his lack of sleep. He rubbed him eyes and his attempted to sniff, his eyes dragging over the area only to finally fall upon Mr. Tall Dark and Handsome form last night; and they stayed there. He stared for a long moment until he finally shook his head and settled back against the couch. He was a kid right now. Not only that, he could hardly be in a relationship. Being with Uriel was tough enough; he was just glad the vampire had been extremely dominant, otherwise it'd never have worked out. |
Gabriel Gabriel took a few more gulps of the soul soothing vodka, and then glanced over at the small boy who opened the door for him last night. "How're feelin'.?" He sauntered over looking down at the kid. |
“I will…” Rain said softly, simply cuddling closer to her and continuing the spell that made her skin and ahir feel cold to the touch. She closed her eyes a moment, inwardly worrying about her. She was just finding her…she couldn’t lose her now. She bit her lip softly, her mind starting to wander. It’s happening again…. She heard something whisper. It caused her to start slightly. Janu sighed, holding him closer. She then looked towards Oni, thinking a moment. “Well…who do you want to be?” She asked softly, leaning forward. The simple fact was she couldn’t make him forget, but she could try to make remembering easier. Seeing Gabrial and Dante she glanced up, watching them a moment but her mind mainly on Oni. It felt kinda good to be needed rather then needy as she had been ever since her memory loss.. |
Emeriya Emeriya Held her close, welcoming the coolness of her skin. "Mmmm...Thank you, Rai..." She gently kissed Rais forehead, letting the coolness tingle her lips. "It means alot to me..." |
Dante's eyes traveled to a conversation nearby. Way Oni in the lap of... what was that thing? He quirked a brow, feeling a bit sick at the sight. Fur in all the wrong places, that was for sure. Oni looked... distressed. His expression softened as he stared at the boy, his attention only being stolen away by the voice that came up beside him. He blinked and looked up to the man, then sighed. "I'm fine. I just need to sweat it off." He lied before looking to the bottle in the man's hand. Now fair! Now that was a cheap shot. Vodka. that was just what Uriel drank.
He stared for a moment before bundling the blanket closer, inevitably opening the seat next to him for the other. |
Gabriel Gabriel nodded and sat next to him, feeling the kid's forehead, the vampire's cold hands being warmed by the fever. "Does that help?" He raised an eyebrow, sick kids were a slight weakness. Kids in general were, especially with bad pasts. He sees himself in every one of them. |
Oni cuddles her, liking how comforting she seemed. He really did stop to think about what she had said. Who did he want to be? He wanted to be him, to be Oni. At the same time he felt like he was betraying his brother by just trying to drop the things that were had been his. He asked her in all seriousness, "Won't I be betraying my brother if I just ignore the bit's that are his?" He really wanted to know what she thought about this.

“Hey, had to get us into bed together somehow.” Rain teased, her eyes closing at the light kiss. She held her closer, trying to figure out the fever. It was not a physical illness or she could heal it…but what could it be? Would it kill her? Rain shook off the thought and shivered visibly, simply holding her waist tighter. Janu smiled and shook her head, leaning on him still. “No… You honor those who loved you best by living, by being you, and finding happiness……because that is what they’d want for you.” She answered honestly, and in her voice it was true she completely believed every word. It what kept her living….even when she hated herself….a little bit of which was coming back now that she remembered being human. Now that she remembered what every other creature who looked like this had done…Every other Shadow cat, as tal called them, she had seen tried to kill and destroy…..Yet.... Tal loved her... |
"E-Eh...?" Dante blinked, feeling the cold hand against his forehead. He breathed, a bit startled. Swallowing, he looked back to the man, putting a meek childish expression on. "Mmh. It's cool." He pulled the blankets closer a bit uncomfortably. Hot man. Hot man touching him at that.
He reached up with one of his hands, placing it over the man's cold hand. Why was it so cold? Poor circulation? "Are you alright?" He asked with that meek smile of his. "You're so cold." |
"What if he hates someone. . alot. It's confusing because a little bit of me wants to blame her too. She has always been nice to me but . . .she let that man kill brother. She held me down while he shot magic and made brother die," he buried his face in her fur and cried a little. He didn't want to hate Rain but Xanic already did. Oni was upset with her but he didn't hate her. If he was still friends with Rain would that have made Xanic mad?

Emeriya Emeriya laughed "I guess so." She held her closer...she had an od urge lingering in her mind...but this was not the time or place to do so...she pushed it to the back of her thoughts. Gabriel Gabriel smiled, his fangs gleaming. "Just the way I am." He let his healing energy flow through the boy. "And if it helps you shouldn't question it now should you?" |
Dante blinked, a bit taken aback. A... vampire? He stared for a long moment before shaking it off. Vampiric, vodka, handsome... damn this was unfair. He breathed deep again before laying his chin on his knees and relaxing. "I guess..." He was still tired. He knew it. As his cold let up a bit for whatever reason he started slipping again. He ended up mindlessly leaning against the man, drifting off to sleep once more.
