Lukas pushed open the large heavy door with a thunk. He looked around, his eyes slightly bloodshot, he hated work, especially the long hours he'd been putting in. He felt almost zombish as he made his way through the main room and grabbing a coffee cup and filling it. He moved to an empty seat as he sipped at it, bundled up in a long slightly thick sweater and a large scarf around his neck. He still had his mittens on as he sipped his coffee.

He was as bad as the witches to them…….for Dante had betrayed the human race by protecting one, one that had killed several hunters herself. They accordingly were waiting not for Rain, but him now. They could feel something unusual in the air but considered it a witches trick and ignored it.

In a way…they were right. A witch from the early 1800s named Selene Lupine had died at the warlocks hand, and her spirit…was here. She’d been a gaurdian in life, and in death she had the same instincts. So she appeared, in period dress, right in front of dante. She glanced towards where a trip wire and two of the eight man team were waiting. In the dark forest it would have been easy to miss, but the light seemed to glitter off it at her bidding. She then looked at him through soft brown curls and just stared at him sadly a moment, before disappearing from having used all her energy to reveal the wire.




Janu thought a moment, “Well I’m going to draw a few shapes on the cloth, a pattern, you can start by cutting those out. That’s the first step.” The feline then smiled, taking his hand and pulling him towards the living room. “Come on, lets go sit on the couch” Janu said softly, holding his hand and a basket with their supplies in the other. She was looking at the roof in thought, thinking.

Oni was going to get right to cutting but the moment he saw Lukas he took off running. He ran right into him and flung his arms around him saying, "I missed you Lukas and so many bad things happened. I'm so glad your back!"

Dante's eyes fell upon the glittered wire at first before looking up towards the source of light. That was... a woman? A ghost? Chills ran down his spine as he stared upon her in awe. Wait... now he was seeing women while he was alone? Couldn't he be without them for-...

Oh, never mind that. He looked back to the wire, then scanned the trees quickly. A trap meant an ambush? Paranoia set over him as his senses heightened. He couldn't stay in one spot. He'd have to keep moving and move fast! Just who was it, though? Mafia? An organization that wanted to 'off' the spy? Maybe those two damned girls had fucked up and slipped his identity out? Damn it all!

He couldn't stay standing here! He bounded off in the opposite direction, running further into the forest in order to avoid the trap as well as however many sharpshooters or archers were left in wait. He needed to not only draw them out, but get them out of position. If they wanted him dead, he'd let them come to him.

Lukas was a little shaken as Oni had in an instant wrapped his arms around him making his coffee almost knock out of his hand. He set the cup on the table and pulled Oni up close to him. "Sorry, you know, work in town, it's bloody aweful. What happened? I take it you're ok. And sorry I've been gone so long." he rambled and apollogised and kissed oni on the forehead.

Oni felt so much better just having Lukas there. It seemed like now things weren't as bad. Oni crawled into his lap and kissed him, keeping his arms around him. "I missed you so much. Xanic tried to blend with me and . .well they tried to stop him and accidently . . killed him. " With the comfort of being in his arms again Oni let his tears fall and said softly, "I miss him Lukas."

The hunters cursed, trying to figure out what on earth had caused him to turn and run away…nobody could have seen that water….no human. They each seemed to growl, two archers releasing arrows in an attempt to stop his run while the other four attempted to re group and run forward, staying to the side to try and flank him. They didn’t want to try to take him front on for now they were doubting his humanity….. You see, Selene had allowed only Dante to see her….



Janu giggled as she watched the two, shyly staying back. She began to draw the patterns with fabric chalk, watching the two with a small smile. They were so cute together…. Would she someday share such love with Tal? She blushed at the thought, staying quiet.

Arina groaned as she woke, rolling over in bed she misjudged the distance and fell with a thump onto the floor. "Damn..." She mumbled as she forced herself up sniffling a bit and made her way determined to get to her closet. She pulled on a long light blue sweater and some black pants that fit tight, she finished off with some black knee high boots. She brushed her hair and just put on a black knit hat being lazy and cold. She went in her bathroom to blow her nose before she made her way down the stairs to the main room.

"well, seems I've missed out on a lot." he said kissing Oni back and putting his arms around him "I didn't really know him too well, though I'm sorry that it happened that way.." He said softly leaning his head against Oni. "And I suppose if I knew him all that well like you did I might miss him too."

Chie had sighed when neither answered her question...well, at least they said hello. The feline seemed rather shy around her, and Oni too...sheesh, fine, she'd go back to her human appearance. Honestly, they were so bothersome... So as Oni and Janu went out into the living room, Chie took the time to manipulate her appearance back into that of a twelve-year old human child. While her hair was the same dark blue hue, it only came to her waist, and then meager cloth to cover herself was rearranged into an adorable white dress well suited for a child of the age she appeared to be. She was also nearly a foot shorter than she had been in her real form.

Sighing yet again, Chie walked slowly back to the living room. They made such a fuss over her appearance, so it was simply easier to appear this way... The little girl blinked at the scene she walked into. Eh? Another new person? And Oni was well acquainted with him? Well, actually, just from looking at him she could easily assume they were lovers. A genteel smile spread across the little girl's lips. It was a somewhat touching scene, she didn't really want to interrupt... so Chie crossed the room with quick little dancer's steps over to where the feline was. She clasped her hands behind her back and leaned forward a bit to peer at what she was doing. "What're you making?"

One of the arrows sunk itself deep into his shoulder. He sucked in air as pain coursed through his arm. The tip was right in the join, locked it and effectively slowing his pace. He cursed to himself, his mouth filling was saliva as a soft nausea came ove him- and then, pleasure. He breathed out unsteadily before reaching back and gripping the arrow. "Merda- Merda- Merda!" He suddenly ripped the thing right out, freeing his joint once more, though on the other hand causing him to whimper and whine in pain.

"Bastards, I'll get you-" He ripped his pistol from the belt of his pants, cocking it quickly and pointing it towards a pair of messy footsteps on his left. He looked only for long enough to fire twice, aiming straight for the man's head and abdomen.

[ Notes: Arrow struck his right shoulder. Arrow was ripped out and he's currently bleeding an ass load. Dante is dominant in his left hand and thus fired to his left side. ]

Oni stopped crying and nuzzled him softly. He started to feel tingly but it was different from before, this was a happy tingle. He felt content. He pulled back a little and said very seriously, "Lukas you might be mad at me. Well I guess I gotta explain stuff first. Xanic was able to do some of the blend and I ended up with a lot of his memories and feelings and stuff. Well you know I like hugging people. There is a new lady and she's blue and . . " Oni didn't want to keep going but felt he should tell Lukas. He was ashamed of how he had behaved but kept talking, "Well she suddenly just seemed pretty . . and I never thought much about girls before he died but now they seem sort of pretty. I touched her arm and leg and it made me feel tingly. Dante told me later that was bad because that means I'm sexually attracted to them and it gives them the idea that they are special to me. I didn't mean it like that, it was just weird and new. I only want Lukas to be special to me. I think Lukas is more handsome and more special. I'm sorry I was so dumb." Oni looked down affraid of what he might say.

Lukas was a bit confused. "Well... you didn't really do anything wrong." He said after trying to think through things. "Just because you think someone is attractive and all, I don't know what's wrong with that." He kissed oni's cheek, "But thanks for telling me anyway." He smiled and let out a little laugh. "You're so cute when you're all serious, I can't help it..." He let out. "I'm sorry, but really finding people attractive is natural, I can say that most of the people in here are attractive, but I love you, and most, besides my sister, and you, are like complete strangers to me. And touching someone's arm or leg seems pretty harmless." He just had to shake his head a little but kissed him again."I missed you, and I was worried to leave you here, I'm sorry again that i'd gone without much warning."

The man fell as he was shot, the two archers still staying where they were and aiming for him. They began to inch forward, trying not to think of their dying companion. They were hunters…hunting dangerous pray. It was expected they would die sometimes…..

The three remaining took the moment to try to surrond him, two of them swordsmen. They were use to fighting witches who would often cause their guns to jam so rarely used anything but ancient blessed weaponry. One swordsman leaped towards Dante’s back intending to slash across his back, the other letting out a distracting hell and leaping forward in an attempt to slash down Dante’s chest.



Chie would find that her appearance change had done little, for Janu was simply shy until she knew someone. Janu sniffed the air a moment, smelling the blue lady yet seeing a young girl. She focused on the question then, shyly pressing her hair behind one cat like ear. “h..I. Just dolls. I like to sew…” She said quietly, her voice weak at first from her shy nervous nature. She finished the outline then, looking over the little girl as she puzzled the smell. “I..I’ll make you one too if you want…Oni want’s his to look like his brother….” She sighed sadly at this and looked up at him before looking back at chie with a small smile. She didn’t feel quite as shy around children….but even then the scars of her self loathing and history made her shy.

Chie perked up when Oni started talking to Lukas like he was confessing a horrible sin. And as he went on about how he'd touched her here and there; Chie couldn't help the snicker that escaped her. He really was too innocent. How could she ever view him as anything other than a child? She laughed aloud when Lukas replied to Oni's seriousness. "You've got that right! It was entirely harmless; you silly boy, worrying about something like that." The young girl smiled brightly as she looked across the room at Lukas and Oni, staying over by the feline still. Her attention was drawn back to the girl though as she said she could make one for Chie. She smiled a gentle smile and said with a giggle, "Oh there's no need for that, I should make one for you instead!" The little girl's face was simply brimming with happiness as she spoke, doing her best to put the feline at ease.

Oni was so relieved it showed visibly in his entire frame. He let out a sigh and smiled at Lukas saying, "I'm glad you're not mad at me." He blushed when Chie spoke up and felt a little silly but he didn't care because Lukas was here now. He enjoyed the kiss Lukas gave him and snuggled close to him. "I missed you too but work is important right so it's okay," he said and then got an idea. "This just means you owe me for being gone for soooooooooo long, " he told him with a grin. "I have the perfect idea too for you to make it up to me," he continued. He kissed Lukas softly and smiled. "I think Oni should stay in Lukas' room since I am all by myself now. Can I do that?" he had meant to be more assertive but it just wasn't in his nature to demand things with out asking.
