"Well sure, why not, and you've had pancakes right? they're just like thin pancakes, with fruits or even veggies." He said smiling holding his hand, when the lady finished he took the bags, and carried them with his free hand. "c'mon it's just across the street here. Strigur can just follow us."

"Oh I like pancakes. . .but yuck no veggies on them just fruit . . oh can I put whip cream on them?" he said to Lukas. He held fast on to his hand and followed him across the street. As they were seated he asked him, "Do you eat here a lot? Can we come here again some time just like today only me and you?"

He smiled "you're so full of questions. I used to come here a lot when I was little, and of course we can. We can go a lot of places. And I know, veggies aren't for everyone. Yes you can get whipped cream. " he answered as they found a spot and the waitress, an older woman came over. "Well I've thunk I've seen a ghost." She said in her sweet motherly voice "One of the hollow children's here, "allo Lukas, I heard you've been back n was wonderin when you'd drop in." She continued, "What'll it be for you this time, and oh, Who's this charming young feller?" She blabbed turning to Oni.

Lukas just shook his head, "So you do still work here Loretta, I was hoping so, We're going to have two orders of Crepes with peaches, ice cream, and whipped cream, please." He smiled sweetly to her. "This would be Oni, Oni, Loretta here was one of my mothers bestest friends back when she went to school as a little girl."

Oni was happy that he was going to get such a good treat. He couldn't explain why but it bothered him a little that this lady knew Lukas so well. She seemed nice enough but his shyness took over, that and the fact he was a little jealous of her. Oni sort of shrunk, gazed down and said quietly, "Hello." He wasn't exactly sure what to say.

Loretta nodded, "Alrigh' then I'll go put it in, anything to drink?"
Lukas shrugged, "I'll have coffee, how bout you Oni?" He asked.

"Um," he said as he poked the table, "Fruit juice is good. I don't really like coffee." He looked at Lukas and said, "You really like coffee a lot. When I have money to get you a present I'm gonna buy you coffee."

[[sorry, phone rang.]]
Lukas nodded and let out a chuckle, "yeah, I like the coffee a lot." Loretta scribbled down the order and walked off. "So Oni, any other questions you'd like to ask?" He smiled at him getting comfortable in his chair.

He felt a little bit more at ease now that the lady had gone. He thought for a moment and said, " I dunno. I guess I want to know everything about Lukas. What things you like, what makes you happy and sad. I want to hear stories about when you were a little kid." He looked up shyly hoping this wasn't silly.

((holy crap I suck at this in real life. . .I'm sitting here thinking, "what the hell do I say?" lol))

Lukas smiled "Well, where to start then... hmmm, I suppose simple things, I like, coffe, Srtigur, warm weather, and above all, you. And I don't like when people are sad, extream cold tempratures, and rude old dragons hahaha" Loretta came back with the drinks and the plates off food and walked to take care of another table. "Oh, and I like these." He said taking a bite of his food.

Oni listened intently making sure to commit everything he said about himself to memory. Oni said thoughtfully," I've never seen snow. . .so I don't know if I like cold weather or not. I think snow would be lots of fun though. I've seen that you can make stuff out of it too. I'll try to be happy as much as possible since you don't like it when people are sad. I've never met a rude old dragon but I think it would be fun. . . or scary."

Lukas laughed at the last bit. "Most dragons tend to not be scary, they are dangerous, of course, but they generally don't use their powers. They're just, well, you know how people can not like a person without even knowing them, and will tell that person so, that's how they are. " He explained, then smiled "Well, I love the snow, just the cold that goes with it I don't like." He took a few bites of the crepe. "You'll experience it here soon enough though, snow gets probably mid knee level here.

"Oh okay. Well I at least know you and you're part dragon. Do you think we could make a snow fort or have a snow ball fight. I tried to have a food fight with Dante and he didn't get it. I felt like a jerk afterwards," he said to him hoping that even though he didn't like the cold he would have a snowball fight with him.

Oni took a bite and his eyes light up. "Oh this is so good Lukas!" he said as he proceeded to shovel the food in his mouth want to scarf it all down.

{oh dear, I'm gonna have a lot to catch up on ^^; :P lol, I just popped on for a little bit, but I'm heading to a party now, so I might be on sometime tomorrow xD;}

Lukas giggled and ate his a bit quickly too. "Yeah sure, snow ball fights are awesome." he said happy to see Oni enjoying himself. "We can build a snow fort too of course. And yeah, I'm part dragon, but it's the other part that makes most of the older dragons so biased towards me."

Oni finished what was on his plate and said, "It will be tons of fun! I just know it Lukas. . and. . .and if you get cold I could help warm you up." He blushed but liked the idea. Lukas always made him feel warm and a little tingly. He remembered touching Chie's stomach and wondered what Lukas' felt like. He bet it would feel a lot nicer. He turned more red at the thought and hide his face by looking down responding to the rest of what Lukas had said, "Well. . .well that's their loss since they don't want to get to know you. I guess I just get you all to myself."

( *Yaaawn.* I am updating mah new shop. =3= )

"Awe, well, I kinda prefeer it that way, you having me all to yourself and such, it seems nice." He smiled "And I suppose you could help me warm up." He finished the rest of hist food and about chugged his coffee. "Alright, I think we might get back, I'm sorry to cut short out date, but I've got to work tonight, and i need to get you back to the Inn." He paid the bill and carried the bags out to where Strigur was waiting.

Oni smiled at the thought of warming up Lukas and was glad he liked the idea as well. "It's okay Lukas I had a lot of fun today. I know work is important. Oh Janu showed me how to make dolls. I could make you an Oni doll if you want. . .or is that kinda silly?" he asked him. He followed Lukas out.

((It's okay, thanks for coming on today, it was fun ^-^ ))

"Sure, you can make me a doll, that'd be really nice." He said smiling and packed the bags up on Srigur. She saw Oni and naturally knelt down for him to get on. Lukas just shook his head. "You never did that for me. but then again, I always had that whole I can fly thing I guess." he teased and shrugged. He helped Oni on and headed back towards the Inn.

[[no problem Dx just assume he helps get the stuff up tot he room and kisses him buhbye before he's off to work, oh, and that they bought a pretty paper for dante's doll. cause i'm like -pass ouf verge point-]]

Once he kissed Lukas goodbye Oni went back upstairs to put all his new clothes away. It was nice feeling like he had a place to call his own, a place that felt like a home. Living here was so much different than in the facility. He only got any sort of affection through praise when he had been able to pass a test with his ability. Here almost everyone was kind and willing give a little bit of affection just because they could. Oni got a little bit of a pang knowing that even though he wanted to be normal he wasn't. No normal person grows up in a facility with out a family. Luckily things had changed. He would make his own family now. The people here would be his family.

Once he finished with his clothes he got out the wrapping paper and attempted to wrap the gift. It didn't look like pictures he had seen but it looked much nicer than the plastic bag. Once it was finished he trotted off to Dante's room and knocked on the door saying, "Dante are you awake? It's Oni and I have a present for you."

Dante stirred at the sound of his name. Why was he being called to? He breathed deep, expecting to get a fresh whiff of fresh air, though, instead the pleasant scent of the attractive male he'd curled up against intoxicated him. He shook his head an blinked, slowly becoming aware of the situation. Blush covered his face as he stared down at the sleeping vampire, then to himself. Why? Why hadn't he shrunk last night? Last night... his face went beet red at the thought. That was first time ever going 'at it' until exhaustion took both of them.

He swallowed, carefully slipping from the bed as to not awake to other. He then grabbed a used bath towel and wrapping it around his hips before opening the door. He blocked the view into his room as he stared down at Oni. "A present?" He asked in a monotone.

Something pinged in him. He could use this. A smile curved his lips as he placed a hand on Oni's head comfortingly before pulling him into a gentile, yet caring grasp. "Thank you, Oni. That means a lot to me."

"Yup, a present," Oni said with a smile. He went to hold it out when Dante pulled him into a hug. Oni was a little surprised since Dante usually wasn't the one to give hugs. Oh well, still smiling he looked up and said, "I made it myself too, well Janu helped but only a little. You said you liked homemade things the best right? Lukas and I even got real wrapping paper for it too so it would look like a real present." He manged to hold the present up hoping Dante would be pleased.

Dante grinned to Oni's words before accepting the gift. "Homemade?" He hummed before taking the present in hand. He never understood the idea of wrapping a gift. This was a bit butchered, too. A newbie? Of course- Oni. He searched for an opening (not as if that was hard to find) before leaning against the door frame and carefully taking the wrappings apart without completely destroying it. He had enough patience at the moment to take his time. In fact, patience only created suspense for the giver rather than the taker. That would help boost what Oni would feel at the end.

Finally he pulled the hand stitched doll from the wrappings. He tilted his head, taking in every detail. "Oni, this is very well made." He hummed before grinning wide down at the boy. "Thank you! I'll cherish it." He could already guess what Oni wanted to see. He wrapped his arms around the doll, holding it close to his chest. "How long did it take you?"

"Yes homemade just like you said Dante," he said eagerly waiting for him to open it and wondering if he would like it or not. He beamed at the praise he was given when Dante said how well made it was. "It was my first try too Dante! It only took me a day," he said full of happiness. Dante liked it! "I figured since it makes you uncomfortable to hug me sometimes this way you have a little Oni to hug that won't make your heart funny," he said proud that he had thought of such an idea.
