Ti went to the door to let Dlacha outside, then to his usual seat at the bar. He leaned back against the wall as he took a sip of the coffee-liquor mix and closed his eyes. "We can go later in the day, alright Oni?" He said, agreeing with Dante. I was just to early to just jump up and do things. He sighed then looked to Talianda, looking him up and down. "I might actually be able to help with that, I can try to bend the shadows and water in the air to make an Illusion about you. I've done it before, but it'll be tricky with you." His mind pondered upon how to go about it as he sipped his drink.

Dante sighed and searched around the bar. He was unsure of alcohol right now. Not only because he was unsure of his stability currently, but because it's drive his tipsy. He didn't have much of a tolerance. He grabbed a glass and reached over, using the fountain spout to pour himself some water. He took his seat again and sipped his drink in silence. Later... sushi... if it was with this vampire, sure. He still needed to grow closer to that man. He could use him.

Oni realized that he was still in his pajamas and laughed, "Yeah I guess going on a bit later would be good. I want to figure out how to use my card thing." He listened as Ti talked about helping Tal so he could come and Oni smiled saying, "That would be cool. Then we could all go together." He liked this idea much better than leaving Tal behind.

Talianda stared at Ti. "You would do that?" he asked, voice incredulous. "You would really do that?" He turned to face Ti, tea forgotten. "Why?"

Ti just shrugged, taking another sip of coffee as he smiled at Oni. "Partially because I'm curious if it would work. That and we were just last night talking about the famliy we have here, why would we leave you behind?" He looked to Dante, the look on his face making Ti wonder what he was thinking of. He just passed it off and got up to let Dalcha back in.

Oni got an idea of what they could maybe do today and went over to Dante. Quietly he said, "Um if your not busy today Dante would you. . .you know. . .teach me?" He didn't want to mention what since he was sure Dante knew and the people here seemed to have really good hearing.
Oni heard what Ti said about family and smiled. Last night had been a good conversation. He said to Tal, "Yeah we're all family here." |
"Mmh?" Dante looked up to Oni, then smiled softly. "Of course. We'll have to do it in your room. If you can, find a few resource materials from the attic or basement... or wherever they're held. Something easy to looks at." He kept it almost encrypted, not letting on the true subject - how to read. For all they know he could have been teaching Biology or History!

Talianda watched Ti walk to the door. So Ti possibly thought of him as family too? He shook his head,brain not wrapping itself around the concept. "Ok..." he said, turning back to the cupboards to look for tea again. "Can I have help? I don't know where Arina keeps the tea..."

Oni light up when Dante said he would teach him. He had wanted to be able to read for a while now. "Okay Dante it's fine if we do it in my room. Lukas is at work so the rooms empty. I was up in the attic earlier and a lot of Lukas' old things are in there so I'm sure I could find something." Oni hugged Dante since it seemed he was more willing to as of late and went to go upstairs.
Oni heard Tal's question and said, "I think Dante knows, he got me some tea before." With that he ran up to the attic and began searching for some school like materials. |
Ti chuckled as Dalcha ran in past him, wagging her tail and barking at him. "I know, you're hungry." He said to her before going back behind the bar and grabbing a green tea with jasmine for Tal, tossing it to him. "The water is right here" he said, turning the knob to light the heater. "It'll be ready in a minute." He said as he walked to the kitchen to find something to feed Dalcha, the trotting along side him.

It took some searching but Oni was able to find some paper, pencils, and white board with markers. He hoped this would be good enough. He took everything into his room and tried to arrange things just right. Once that was done he was about to run back down stairs and decided he should get cleaned up first. He took a quick shower and got on some clean clothes. He hoped he looked good since they might go out later. He ran down stairs and went straight to Dante. "Do I look good?" he asked right away hoping he had matched things correctly. He then let his mouth go off and said, "Oh yeah and I found some things and got them in my room. I hope it's enough stuff. I didn't really know what else to get though. Did you eat yet? You should eat first k."

Talianda caught the tea packet thrown at him, flipping it over a few times before getting a cup and making himself the tea. He walked to a chair, sitting in it and blowing on the tea to cool it a bit. "Thank you." He took a sip, making a face and grabbing the honey.

Dante grinned as Oni hugged him. How lovable and naive. He scoffed, watching Oni rush off before turning to face the counter. He'd wait for the boy. A good half hour at that. Was it that hard to find everything? He wa about to head upstairs to check on Oni, but he was already rushing back down. "Ah... sure. Like a million bucks." Dante muttered before grinning a bit. "You didn't have to shower-" Then Oni wouldn't shut up. He blinked, trying to catch it all before chuckled and placing a hand on the kid's head. "I'm fine. Let's go, neh?" Had this kid really not noticed Dante eating just a moment before he'd left? |

"It's okay Dante cause if we go out later I want to make sure I look nice," he said and smiled when Dante said he looked good. "I'm glad you guys are here to help me though or else I might make a mess out of myself," he said gaving a small laugh and grabbed Dante's hand so he could lead the way to his room. He was so excited. He was going to learn to read! |

Dante smiled and followed after Oni, though inside he was dreading this experience. With Dante, it was easy to teach him. He got it down pat before anyone else. A trademark of a genius, huh?
Well, he'd start with the basics, such as the alphabet and huh the letters sound before going into the books... ( Skip? xD ) |

Ti had found some leftover rice and beef that Arina had made before and put it in a bowl for Dalcha, Leaving the dog to eat and going back to the bar. He sighed at his drink, it was no where near strong enough. He leaned against the wall again, smiling at Oni as he ran back down the stairs after a while. The boy had so much energy, it was exhausting just looking at him.... Or maybe Ti was just getting old. Chuckling at the mental joke, he drank the last of his coffee and thought of getting the bottle of rum. |
(( yeah it's cool if you want to skip it. I was thinking too that it could get a little tedious since Oni can ask a lot of questions. He is a little slow though so what should we say he got down today?))

Talianda spooned some honey into his tea, trying it again and smiling. "Better." he drank it slowly, still trying to wake up completely. He thought of something. "Why wouldn't your illusion work?" he asked Ti, head cocked slightly to the side. |

After they finished their first lesson Oni smiled at Dante and said, "I'm not sure how much I'll remember but I'll practice writing out the letters and going over what words start with what letters." He got up and hugged him and said, "Thank you so much Dante. . .I don't know if you know how much this really means to me. I won't be so stupid anymore and I can help more often." He looked up at the man full and gave a smile full of warmth and love.
