(( XD yeah...now that Tal is passed out, Vuri's gonna steal all his pretty, soft fur. Mwahahahaha! lol, Just kidding. But I understand. Have some good rest so we can continue tomorrow! : D ))
|
((lol XD, that put such an image in my head XD))
|
(( XD where's Kage...? Anyway...I'll try my best to start up again))
Vuri watched face Tal's as Ti made stitch after stitch through his skin. She admired the dragon, for she could never sit through that, not awake at least. Tal's eye's began to close, and Vuri put her arm out and stoked his back to soothe him as he fell into a deep sleep. |
(( sorry! looking at bloody stuffs and got side-tracked))
Ti felt the dragon relax as he finished the stitches and cleaned them one more time. He took the wing from Janu and eased it into place, resting it beside the other and began to wrap it tightly so it couldn't shift. Remembering what Talianda had said before, he gently wrapped the other as well. He sighed an crouched beside Janu, looking the dragon over and admiring him. "I've never actually seen a Shikasha before. They really are beautiful." He stood, his head spinning a bit with the smell of blood still strong in the air. He mentally shook his head and went about cleaning up the supplies. |
Once Ti finished and pulled the wing from her she released the dragons wing ever so gently. She then stepped back, glancing at Vuri. The feline couldn’t help but smile, watching as she went to soothe the now sleeping dragon. As she looked back to Ti, however, her thoughts turned. For once not of the warmth he could cause, but whether or not he was going to need her blood again. More curious then fearful. Absently she rubbed the bit wound like it itched and then agreed “Yeah…heh… they are.” She then gave Vuri a smile and walked over to her, playfully scratching behind the other feline’s ear to distract herself.
|
The feline smiled as she felt the soft fur of the dragon. She really couldn't wait till he woke up. She wanted to lear more about him. He was an interesting creature. Vuri turned to Janu and giggled when she scratched behind her ear, but then unexpectedly, she purred. Vuri's eye's widened as her face flushed red, she lifted her hand from Tal to cover her face.
|
(( well I wanted Ti to woo Arina, but if I'm not on when she is, Janu might just win him over XD ))
Ti saw Janu rub her wrist as he carried the bowls and clean rags into the kitchen. As he came back out, he heard a purring noise come from Vuri. He stopped and gave her a quizzical look but just chuckled and went back to cleaning up. He crouched down and was about to pick up the bloodied rags when he stopped and dropped his hand to his side. He look to the floor, "Do you know where to put these dirty rags?" he asked, his voice quiet. |
Janu tilted her head as Vuri hid, wondering what was wrong when she realized that the other was likely ashamed of her cat like traits just as Janu herself was. She bit her lip then playfully whispered, “You’re cute when you purr, you should do it more.” She blushed, even though she knew she only said it to comfort the other feline. Janu didn’t mind being ashamed of herself, but seeing others she cared about feel the same way…broke her heart.
As Ti spoke she glanced over to him, realizing the rags must smell so strongly to him…”I’ll take care of them” she whispered softly, reaching forward and picking them up. She walked to put them away in the kitchen, hoping to find a trash bin or something similar. ((loll wouldn’t that surprise the hell out of Janu XD. She doesn’t’ think she’s desirable. Hell it'd surprise me XD. )) |
(( Heck, Vuri would even be surprised. ^.^))
Janu's words didn't help the blush on Vuri's face. She looked up at Janu and smiled, And when she Janu left to go help Ti, she rocked in her chair in front of the fire, not knowing what to think. Sha always thought that she wouldn't really be accepted as a cat, she she never acted like one. She figured that if she wasn't in the body of a cat, there was no use. But she guessed there were some things that she just couldn't let go of. She smiled thinking of Janu's words again. She wouldn't hold back anymore now that she knew how someone would react to her cat-like actions. Vuri scooted closer to the fire and watched Talianda. She wanted to keep him company. Even if he wasn't completely conscious. She watched the slow rise and fall of his chest and sighed. It had been a pretty long day so far. But she didn't even do very much. She looked over to Ti and Janu and smiled. They must have such big hearts. She was glad that they were a part of her life now. |
(( That's ok, Ti thinks he's too intimidating with his eyes and height, and ugly with all his scars and "monster within". They have more in common than they think. ))
Ti lowered his head as Janu gathered up the rags. He stayed still for a moment before reaching to collect the herbs. He heard Vuri shift over to the fire and closer to Talianda, her eyes scanning over the sleeping dragon. Ti wrapped the remaining herbs in a clean rag he saved and set the bundle on a table near the fireplace. He looked back to the Shikasha and wondered why he had helped him. Why had Talianda let him help? Weren't dragons supposed to hate Vampires? 'But you aren't really a Vampire.' A small part of him said. 'I'm still a monster and a mortal enemy of dragons. It can't be long before he comes to his senses and attacks me' he thought bitterly, leaning against the wall and fading into the shadows slightly. |
((yeah that’s one of the ironies XD they are very similar people. ))
Finding a trash bin she tossed away the rags, glancing back over her shoulder at the two. Seeing Vuri so relaxed she couldn’t help but smile. The smile faded a bit, however, as she sensed a discomfort in the room. She didn’t know it was the connection was causing her to pick up on Ti, just that something was…off. Sighing she decided to make some tea for herself and Vuri. She then walked back to the others, giving vuri one cup and keeping the other. Walking a little closer to Ti she asked quietly, “Are you okay?” . She studied him a moment……uncertain. |
Ti blinked back to the moment as his thoughts were disrupted. He looked down to Janu's pale eyes and a sadness took over him. He saw her innocent concern and curious nature staring at him and felt tainted, dark and powerful. He didn't want to hurt any of them and it things continued this way it might just happen.
"I was just thinking of going out to chop the wood.... I do have a debt to fulfill before...." He trailed off, shifting his gaze to the floor. 'Why is it so hard to leave this time?' He hated getting to close to people, they always left in the end so he always made sure to leave them first, but this was so different. He looked over the people in the room, seeing the calm, serene effect this land gave them all. "I should get started on breakfast, ne? I'm sure neither of you had time to eat before this all happened." He said, looking over to the sleeping Shikasha. |
Vuri Happily accepted the warm cup of tea. When she looked back down to Tal, she was reminded about how she used to driking the tea out of bowls. For a second she considered getting a bowl and pouring the tea in there to drink from. She smiled thinking about how silly she would look in this body lapping up tea from a bowl. Vuri noticed Janu's concern for Ti, and felt this concern for him too. He had been acting quite odd since yesterday afternoon.
|
He didn’t have to finish his sentence, she knew what he intended to say. She didn’t need a psychic connection to tell her so…she’d been living the same way the past few years. Never staying in one place too long, afraid something bad would happen if she did. She sighed, and her pale eyes lowered as she resisted the urge to say something.
As he spoke of breakfast she nodded, glancing at the kitchen. “That’d be nice…” She agreed quietly, holding her tea cup a little tighter. She didn’t know why, but the idea of him leaving broke her heart. Yes she saw the darkness in him…but also something else… She glanced at Vuri, giving her a shadow of a smile. |
