Vuri smiled at the thought of breakfast. She had already had two cups of tea this morning, and they were more than satisfying, but it was always nice to have something to eat. And plus, who in their right mind would pass up Ti's cooking. Vuri got up from her chair near the fire and walked over to the pair in the nearby kitchen. She looked up at Ti. "Breakfast would be great." she smiled.

((dude, I got back on and no one was on! Darn, Tal might miss Ti's cooking again... though he might just prefer meat... hmm, I'll have to think about it, Shikasha do cook occasionally...))

Ti looked over to the felines then nodded, moving past Janu and making his way to the kitchen. He went about the cabinets and cupboards, grabbing ingredients and utensils. He paused for a minute as he tried to remember the measurements before beginning to make a batter.

Janu ran her hand through her hair, putting a hand on her hip. She was curious what he would make but unsure. Glancing at Vuri and the sleeping Tal before deciding to go into the kitchen. She perched herself on a counter, her mind still reeling with thought…and the fact she’d wanted to take a nap but doubted she would get to. She sighed and bit her lip, still gazing at him. “You sure you’re okay?” She asked quietly, still thinking of earlier when he’d been fixing the wing. Also….he just felt…troubled earlier. It felt almost like guilt...

Without looking up from what he as doing, he answered Janu, his voice even and almost cold. "I'm just thinking too much, It's a common problem for me." He finished mixing the quick batter and went over to the pan he had pulled out. He filled it with a layer of oil and turned the heat on before returning to the counter Janu was sitting.

The feline crossed her arms a moment, not believing him for a heartbeat. She shook her head a little, leaning back and staring up at the roof. Afraid if she stared at him to intently she’d blush. Though briefly calling herself a fool she mainly just frowned and thought of him. “…If you’re feeling guilty about last night….don’t. I did it for my own reasons and because it was…practical. … Nobody takes advantage of me, I’m…quiet… not stupid and I make my own choices. “ She spoke softly, but with more courage then she usually did. It seemed when she didn’t have to look at a person’s face she felt a little more confident…. A little.

Vuri hopped up on the counter, it wasn't hard for her, in fact, she probably could have lept to to other side of the room just as easy, but she didn't know that. She sat down, placing her arms on her knees and resting her head in her palms. She looked over at the large furry dragon in front of the fire and wondered if he would wake up soon.

((Don't worry, he will. I'm waiting for the opportune moment to wake him))

Ti kept silent as his head spun in a whirlwind of pros and cons, cause and effect. He sighed inwardly as he went over to check the oil. Seeing it was hot enough he brought the bowl of batter over to it and grabbed a ladle. "I never once took you as stupid. I can see it in your eyes. You have a sharp mind and a determined soul. But my problems and just caused by my anger at myself and the way I have lived for centuries." He said calmly as he poured the batter into little round cakes on top of the oil. They sizzled as they cooked and bubbled up.

Janu half sighed, watching him a moment and shaking her head. “Then change it…” She stated with a sigh, glancing at Vuri as she entered. She gave her a soft smile, and waved before walking closer to Ti. She looked at him a moment then sighed, blushing. “I’m sorry…But…don’t fight what you can have here… I can’t be sure about you, But I know through experience that all it does is hurt everyone…” She then hopped over towards Vuri with a new nervousness as part of her wondered if she went to far. . “Um… Vuri help me make some tea, we might as well be useful…”

Vuri hopped off the counter when Janu spoke to her. She was thankful that everyone here like tea, or else she wouldn't know what to do. "Mkay!" she said with a cheery smile. She wondered what kind of tea they were going to make. Maybe it would be the same kind that they'd had with dinner the other day. She asked Janu. "What kind are we gonna make this time?"

arina yawned walking down the stairs and through the hotel. Looks like people had quite a time. She moved through hallways and rooms picking things up that had fallen in the night and moving things about. Down into the main hall she went moving furniture around and starting up a fire. It had grown cold during the night and she wanted to warm herself by the fireplace.

I don’t know…green tea?” She asked quietly, shrugging her shoulders. She twitched an ear, hearing Arina enter. Janu stepped out of the kitchen to greet her, walking towards her with a soft smile. “Hi” She stated softly, blushing a little. She … she felt very much like she did looking at Ti sometimes but…how? Arina was a woman… a beautiful woman part of her added.

(Hehe Janu’s going to discover her bisexuality soon lol. And hehe that’d be interesting XD since Janu has a crush on both.))

(( Who knows, Janu could be his pomme while Arina is a lover? They are two different things, but both intimate. man, Ti's a pimp XD ))

Ti sighed as Janu said her piece before running of with Vuri. 'It's never as easy as you'd think...' He thought bitterly as he flipped the first fry cakes. He stood in silence, thinking of the situation from all the angles he could come up with. all he could see was someone getting hurt in the end 'Fate is a cruel creature, nothing more, nothing less, and I can't help but think she hates me.' He watched as the cakes puffed up and browned, flipping them onto a plate then drizzling more batter into the oil. he found himself thinking of Janu, then of Arina. He wanted to slam his head into something repeatedly, He wanted to run, he wanted to be alone, he didn't want to make the same mistakes again.

((Yeah XD, Janu would probably wish for more but meh, like I said, she feels 100% certain that he will fall for everybody but her so won‘t be surprised. She probably would put up with it though Xd because the alternative is someone else have to endure being the food tray :P))

Talianda twitched in his sleep, the smell of the fry cakes reaching his nose. He hummed a bit, the scent reminding him of times in the clan, festivals and parties. He then murmered something unintelligable and opened an eye.

"Yay!!" Vuri Jumped up and down and gave Janu a big hug. She let go of Janu as she saw Arina walk in the door "Hi Arina!" She waved frantically. Vuri was excited for some reason, but she didn't exactly know why.

((Poor Vuri has no love interest...yet...or does she...?))

Arina heard her tummy gurggle a little and blushed moving out of the main hall area and making her way to the kitchen. She peeked in before going to the fridge and looking for a piece of fruit. She wanted something sweet but not too sweet. Her stomach gurggled agains and she put her hand over it blushing again and grabbed an orange and moved over to the garbage and began peeling it.

Janu sighed, feeling a moment of discomfort coming from him. She rubbed her wrist absently, simply smiling at the other woman. She knew change was hard…but this was killing him and she didn’t need any power to tell her that. She recognized too much in him of herself sometimes.

She could not think to deeply on it, however, before she was hugged tightly by Vuri. She chuckled slightly, and patted her back. As Vuri went to greet Arina she stepped back into the kitchen, knowing Vuri had likely been to excited to start the tea. She glanced at Ti, confused by her own emotions.

Vuri noticed that Tal had moved, curious to see if he woke up, she walked over to him quietly and crouched down to eye level with the dragon, studying his face. He muttered something then opened an eye. "Hi sleephead." she said excitedly, but not loud. She sat down on the ground in a more comfortable position. "How are you feeling?"

As she finished peeling her orange and taking a bite suddenly, she realized there were people around her. She smiled to them then began eating the orange again blushing a bit having forgotten temporarily in her hungry state about her guests. She waved back to vuri as she made her way to sit at the counter in the kitchen and watch them.
