Rin let out a loud yawn. Just the thing he didn't want to be around alot of people in the common area. He rolled his shoulders to make them pop and he adjusted his glasses back onto his nose looking around.

Arina felt the dog leave her side and then the new girl appeared next to her. Fever? really, well, it made some sense "No... I'm alright." She sais softly and smiled up at the girl. "Oh, you're a face I've not seen before." She observed standing back up. "My names Arina, I'm the owner, and, it's just you know.... old blood trying to take over, and I'm trying to not let it... dragons blood runs hotter than humans." She tried to explain.
"Dragon?" Cat asked as she sniffed the air a little. "There's a few dragons around here." She observed her head turning towards Oni as he entered. "FUNNEL CAKES!" She squealed running over into the kitchen. "How many'd you get? How much were they? Can I buy one off youuuu?" She asked excitedly.Her tail twitched behind her a bit, sweets excited her. |
Dante didn't look to Rain. What could he say? He had insulted her without proper cause. He wasn't even angry at the woman. If anything he kind of cared for her in some crazy, loopy sense. He lowered his head, then followed Ti without complaint. What? Would the vampire slap him? Great. But he wasn't about to confess something as stupid as 'I didn't do it,' or 'It wasn't me!' Those were pansy let outs for the weak. He of course would take the blame, even if it hadn't been him who'd done it. Why? Because it was more mature and distant than most humans could comprehend.
"And what...?" He muttered, his eyes looked atright to the vampire's. "What will you do now?" What would the vampire do? He heard other voices and felt the stares of everyone on him. His paranoia spiked as his hands clenched into fists, hiding their shakiness. He couldn't stand these situations. He couldn't stands people staring. He hated it... hated! And it showed clear in his eyes. He couldn't hide just how much he truly disagreed with whatever the vampire was doing or planning. |
Oni was both frightened and curious about the new cat girl but more scared than anything. With all that had happened yesterday it was hard to walk in on such feelings and not feel out of place. Oni looked at her and pushed the bag toward her saying quietly, "They are for everybody." He stayed close to Lukas.

Rin looked at Ti and Dante both and laughed as loud as he could. "Both of you amuse me so much with your petty squabbles, however it grows annoying when your yelling interferes with my research." He said flatly his right hand had a little bolt of light tracing his fingers and his left had a bolt of shadow. "I suggest you take your argument outside before it annoys me more." He said as he walked into the kitchen.

Lukas put his arm protectively around Oni as the strange new girl ran towards them. "Who are you?" He asked her without caring much to be nice. Oni was freightened and it was enough for him to pat attention.

"I... we do?" Pre'acha'n stared at Rain a bit, then the funnel cakes registered in his mind. He looed over at Oni and Lukas, seeing the new cat girl run over to them. He looked back at Dante and Ti, wondering what they were going to do more then wanting the funnel cakes at the moment. One hand dipped into the pocket of his hoodie, pulling out a necklace and twining it around his fingers nervously. He wasn't even aware of it, just kept watching everything he could.

She’d hoped dante would answer but found herself disappointed…shaking her head a little to herself. She walked to her coffee, letting it warm her hand as she heard Brendan speak to her. Rain glanced over to him, half smiling as she said softly “Yes….we do….none of this makes any sense does it?” She shook her head and took a deep breath as she sipped her coffee. She gave Oni a weak nod, “Funnel cakes sound good…” Before looking back to Ti and dAnte… what would happen next? |

Cat was a little taken aback by the accusation in Luka's voice. The first thought entering her though was how they made a cute couple. "Oh, I'm Cat." She said with a smile "I'd forgotten to introduce myself, I'm sorry." She said with a small bow. She looked at Rin "Oh magic man don't be such an grouch." She said and stuck out her tongue at him. She then directed her attention back to the bag and picked out a funnel cake jumping up on the counter crossing her legs and tearing a bite out of it happily.

"Wait what?" Rin tilted his head looking at her, and then he walked over to Cat. "You think you can get away with anything with me huh?" He asked her in a confused tone.

Oni relaxed a little since Cat seemed okay but there were still some of those feelings about. Oni turned and snuggled to Lukas saying quietly,"Can we go to our room?" I don't feel so well."

"Well, it seems to have gotten under your skin hasn't it you grumpy old geezer?" She taunted her tail flicking she was highly amused by this guy. She looked at the little purple haired boy and smiled with a little wave. "Thanks for the cake." She said as she took another bite.
Arina just watched what was going on a bit puzzled. She made herself a cup of tea and sat in the back area of the bar letting her silver eyes pass over the people. |

Lukas kissed Oni's forehead. "Alright, let's put the cakes up on the table and go on up then." He said, his gaze went back over to Cat a bit of a smirk appearing as to how he'd treated the mage.

Ti let go of Dante's arm and glared death at the Mage, his fists clenching as the shadows in the room grew. "Dante, I will talk to you in a moment, don't try to go anywhere, I need to find out what just happened." He said, his voice low and deadpan. He walked after the Mage, shadows looming over him as he did. "If you are going to start something, get off your high horse and finish it." He said, venom to his words. This Mage had pushed him too far, since the day Ti saw him he has been nothing but insulting and degrading to almost all the people here. He regretted this happening here in front of everyone, but even if you can choose your battles, you can't choose when. |

Rin smiled to Cat and turned his head back around his face turned serious. "Oh the little boy thinks he's big now eh?" Rin said cocking and eyebrow slightly. "You should know words are my domain not yours. I just grow tired of all the annoyances. Am I not allowed to voice my opinions? I think I have been opressed enough in life and you are really not going to start opresing me again are we clear?" Rin casually pointed his index and pointer finger at the ground below him. "Or would you rather see my new toys and I can rot that vampire face of yours off. The choice is yours." He said calmly. |
Oni dumped the funnel cake on the table and hung on to Lukas. He just wanted to upstairs where it was quiet. Hopefully then he could focus on blocking out the feelings going around. "okay let go now," he said and tugged lightly on Lukas' hand.

Pre'acha'n ducked down again, swearing under his breath in Gealic. "Please, I just came down because I heard about the fair from a few of the crows, that's all, really. Please, let me have that?"he whispered, hugging himself. He peeked out again, though, feeling Ti's energy and still too curious to stay hidden for too long. "I'll be the death of me..."

Cat watched the two her smirk disappeared a bit "Well, I think this is getting boring and annoying." She said finishing the cake and jumping off the counter landing on her feet gracefully. Her tail flicked behind her and an ear twitched. "If you boys wish to play and pick fights I'll make my leave." She said as she flipped her hair and walked out of the room.

Dante blinked, watching the vampire trudge off. Ohhh... so he was the second asshole on Ti's list it seemed? He sighed, rubbing his face irritably. He couldn't understand himself anymore. He just couldn't control it. He wanted to do this, and needed to do that.
His weary eyes traced the floor, unable to look up even once to look at the others. He didn't want to look at Rain, not after what had happened. Guilt had been piling up on him, along with a sickening disgust towards how he felt at times. As least for now a lot of the attention had been diverted. He could relax a bit as the stares disappeared. He hear Rin and Ti, growing irritable. He opened his mouth to insult the 'word master,' but he choked. Something held him back. It didn't want him to speak. His eye twitched as he looked up the ground, fear showing clear on his face for a moment until his covered it with a hand and masked it with a calm visage. He was no longer himself anymore. He had hardly anycontrol. |
