(( No, no, He never bit Dante. He's using the energy he puts into the bite when he bites people at all. He has only bit Janu once and now Arina is his Pomme (blood donor) it's ok though, I'm passing out too ))
Ti caught Dante as he fell, almost falling as well. He had used his power too much, his head spun as he forced himself to remain standing and support Dante's weight. His vision went blurry as he struggled, his body feeling heavy as his mind started to black out. "You haven't changed much, you still try to be superman when all you are is immortal." the voice chuckled slighly as Ti's head fogged. He managed to raise his eyes to Rain before he blacked out completely and the two men fell to the floor. Dalcha came running from her hiding spot as she saw her master fall. She whimpered and sniffed his face, nudging him with her muzzle to no avail. |
Pre'acha'n jumped as the men fell to the ground. He calmed himself, though, and looked at Oni. "I'm kinda tired, actually. I just yelled at the mage... and threw a fireball at him..." The words sounded a bit detached when he mentioned the fireball. "I could sleep here, do you want me to?" he asked, walking over and sitting next to Oni. He gave a huge yawn, stretching his arms and throwing one behind him on the couch. "Night," he said, deep asleep in a matter of moments.

Oni cuddled up to the bird boy and wondered if he should just head to bed as well. He hoped Dante was okay and it made him nervous with how they had both fallen. He said to Rain,"Are they okay?" He wasn't sure if he should get in the way or try and help.

Rin walked back into the Inn after a while and walked back up to his room closing his door. If only they all knew what he had done for this place as a whole, but he liked to keep his work secret and he was pissy right now he set up his target dummy in the room and stared at it about to work out some rage on it.

Rain sighed, shaking her head as she watched Ti join Dante on the ground. Well this was a lovely end to a lovely day. She glanced over, debating to ask for help when she saw the raven fall asleep on Oni. They were dropping like flies around her….oh well at least the cute bird boy was not her fault, no that she could blame on sweet little Oni. “ they’re just tired I think….I’m going to take these two up to their rooms….” She finally said to Oni, giving him a light hug and raising her hands. A few quick gestures and spells later she had both in the air and was walking up the stairs to take them to bed. She felt almost relieved to have this task, however, as it felt better then the alternative…sitting and thinking…levitating always required her concentration after all…She heard Rin coming up the stairs as well but merely nodded hello, still focusing on the two men she was taking to tuck inot bed. This place made her feel like a mom.....but at least that wasn't as bad as being the warlocks toy had been... |
He stuck his head back out his door and looked at rain as she came up the stairs. "For the record your the only one in here with their head on their shoulders and I do appreciate that. Then again men always want to be the alpha I suppose. Oh I set up some detection wards and such around the Inn should help if those hunters come after you again." He closed his door again just a quickly looking at the dummy and holding out his right hand like a gun he pointed at it. "Spell combo chain. Shadow word: lacerate, Shadow word: Rupture, Shadow word: Infest." Then he quickly switched to his left hand. "Holy word: Flareball, Holy word: Lightswarm, Holy word: Flicker." He slammed his hands together. "Chain buildup spell Grey word: Blastershot." The final spell was charged of holy and dark energy and looked like a shotgun shell exploding only on a larger scale.

Oni cuddled on the couch with the Brenden as he watched everyone go upstairs. Brenden was warm but Lukas was upstairs. He wasn't sure if anyone was actually going to come back down or not. He wasn't sleepy but it seemed everyone had an exciting enough day to be go to sleep. He let out a sigh. He decided to sit here for a while and just watch the fire dance.

Rain was almost about to give him a cheeky reply about everyone having their head on their shoulders, technically, as that was the quirky unsettled mood she was in but something stopped her. Mainly needing the focus. As he spoke the last she half smirked to herself, unable to disagree. Then again….. Rain didn’t often see the favorable side of men…if they didn’t want to sleep with her they wanted to hurt her pretty much… “Thanks for the words of encouragement.” She finally said in reply to Rin though she doubted he heard her. Instead she simply walked to the rooms and set first Dante then Ti down, turning to look at Rins room. She paused to give a warning knock then ducked in her head to say, “Thanks…. They will be back, the hunters always are as long as I’m alive. I look bad on their record I guess.” With that she laughed and re-shut his door, heading downstairs and glancing at the sighing Oni. She perched on the banister a moment, looking down at him. She called down, “You okay Oni?” |
He looked up at Rain when he heard her speak. "Oh I'm okay I guess. I just feel funny since that man injected me. . . I'm hoping it's just cause I'm sick though." He didn't want to keep things depressing though and changed the topic by saying, "Lukas and I went to the fair today though and that was really fun. Did Rain have a good day?"

Rin came out of his room after several minutes and walked back into the kitchen looking to Rain. "Is it safe for the horrible man who doesn't like anyone here to get something to eat." Rin's arms had a blue smoke coming from around them. The ether residue from his spells were covering his whole body. He opened the fridge and grabbed him some water opening it and drinking it.

Oni realized this was most likely a bad time but he had to start getting over his fear/hate of Rin. He wanted that to be sooner than later. He said quietly but loud enough for Rin to hear him, "Thank you for saving my life. . . and I'm sorry I'm still scared of you but I'm gonna try and not be." He had twisted his hands white just saying this but he knew he needed to.

Rin nodded at him. "No need to be scared of me I don't fight kids personal rule." He said flatly he was not really in a mood to talk, but made the effort the best he could.

A good day? Yeah…she was seeing literal and figurative ghosts everywhere but other then that… Rain suppressed the urge to answer just like that, literally biting her tongue. She simply smiled and shrugged, saying “Why would I have anything but.” She then slid down the railing to the main room, heading for the coffee to get the taste of a near lie out of her mouth. As Rin entered and spoke Rain rolled her eyes, catching his shoulder with one hand and merely glancing at the energy as she teased “Oh come on, we know you love us all. Don’t be so dramatic. People just get to stressed here…” She then finished her walk to the coffee pot and poured herself a welcome cup of the brew. |
Oni snuggled Brenden stealing some of his warmth. He could tell Rin really wasn't in the mood to talk and Oni had said his bit so he thought it best not to reply. He wondered if Rain had a really bad day or a good day. Nobody has good days all the time and with everything that had been going on when he got home he figured it had been bad. He frowned slightly. . .why had he now thought that question through before asking. He felt a little stupid now but it was too late. He said, "Well I hope tomorrow truly is a good day. . for everybody."

"Not to be unkind or anything Rain but you need to keep those little boys on a leash. They speak too haphazardly of me. The know nothing of my past or who I am to be speaking so freely of how I think and feel. I will be bringing this up to Arania as well. I have seen people like them get their tongues cut off for talking in such a way before. Their lucky I don't do the same." He said flatly taking another drink.

Me too….” Rain said with a soft smile at Oni, genuinely wishing it but knowing it may or may not come to pass… So many things brought shadows with them, including her. Shaking her head and dismissing the dark thought she turned towards Rin as she heard him speak. She grinned softly, “I’ve been kept on a leash so I know better then to put anyone on it….” She then patted his shoulder again and shrugged, saying only “Besides, Everyone has the right to speak their mind, including you, and including them. ‘Fraid you’ll not get much help from me to stop that.” She laughed gently and took a sip of her coffee though she was clearly getting slightly tired. |
Oni stayed silent especially after Rin spoke. How was Oni not suppose to fear the man when he talked like that? Oni was pretty sure Rin could kill him in a hundred different ways without thinking to hard about it. No, he told himself, Rin is a good guy. . .sorta mean but a good guy.

"everyone is free to speak their minds I am not saying control that in the slightest When you raise arms against me is when I have the issue just to clarify. They need control or at least some degree of discipline, otherwise one day they will start a fight with someone not as patient as me and end up dead. I could have killed Ti easily tonight. He is a vampire anything holy will rip him apart easily I know this because I used to hunt his kind. I have hunter many things in my short time of life. I just have developed patience because well killing has gotten boring." He said reaching for another bottle of water and drinking it down as well.

“You think anyone listens to me? For one who knows so much you don’t pay much attention to people.” Rain replied cheerfully, honestly not worried about that….then again with her old ….friend… possibly coming for her she was that much worried about anything else. All that mattered to her was ensuring this time… when she killed him, he wouldn’t take anyone else down with him. She had never killed a spirit…a complex, demonic entity with no body before…but she would find a way….if it took her life. “Well I’m to bed sweethearts.” She said with a laugh before wandering up to bed. ((sorry guys T.T its past 2 am and I just can't stay awake any longer)) |
He nodded. "Goodnight Rain. Sleep well."

Oni watched Rain go upstairs. He was pretty sure Rin didn't want Oni keeping him company. . should he head off to bed too?

Rin vaulted up the stairs again put up the practice dummy and dressed for bed. As soon as he did he laid down under his blankets. He was not sure wether Cat would be there when he woke or not, but he still sighed. After having someone here with him it felt strange being alone once more. His eyes finally closed and sleep came to him easily.

He pulled out from between Brenden and the couch arm and stood up. "I think I better go to bed," he said quietly to himself. He padded upstairs and slipped into their room. He got under the covers and snuggled up close to Lukas. He let out a sigh of relief at being near him again. He took in the man's scent and put an arm over his chest. He closed his eyes and tried to think of the good times they had that day. Soon he was fast asleep.

Arina woke up in the stables next to Silber. Had she really spent the whole night out there. She sighed softly petting the beast as he neighed sleepily. She walked back yawning softly and picking straw out of her long hair. She had to change that today. She went in through the back and up to her room. She then went in the closet picking the chemicals to change her hair again. She also grabbed a change of clothes and went into the bathroom. When she was finished her hair was back to it's original blond color and she had on a similar outfit to the one she'd had last night only instead of red it was blue. She then went down to the main room putting bag in some steamy hot water to brew herself some tea.
Cat had gotten no sleep that night, she was still wandering about outside as the sun had come up. She sighed softly into the crisp air playing with her sleeves. She was sitting on a high tree branch looking out over a pond. She loved nature but it was definitely getting to cold for her. She hugged her knees to herself just letting her gaze drift over the land. |
