Pre'acha'n quickly but efficiently wrapped Dante's hand and wrist with the splint, securing it so it wouldn't move. "I saw how you reacted to her healing you with magic, so I'll refrain from it," he said, stepping back and repacking the first aid kit.

Rain rolled her eyes as he spoke of being ‘useful’, how was she supposed to do something useful without touching him or using magic? She said nothing of it, however, and simply slumped on the couch as she turned her mind to the mage. Lily….Lily would have known what she was supposed to do…No she couldn’t think of that either, just HIM. It was the last thing she wanted to think about but it was the most important. She had to get that thing out of Dante….without killing him. Janu blushed as he spoke, her hands staying curled around his shoulder when she felt him put an arm around her back. She leaned against it a moment, her ears relaxing back a little as she kissed his cheek. He…He didn’t mind her claws it seemed. Feeling a slight freedom at not having to worry about them excited her…and the breath did even more causing her to gasp and sit higher on her knees with a whimper. She nuzzled into his neck slightly. |
Oni was both relieved and bothered that Brenden had taken over. He really was upset seeing Dante like this and would have preferred not to. However, at the same time he wanted to help him, he wanted to be useful. He knew though that Brenden had more experience and would be better able to help his friend and in the end that was what mattered. "I'm okay. I just want Dante to be okay," he said to his friend worry in his eyes. "I'm letting Brenden take care of it. . but if you need me let me know okay?" he added and stepped out of the way.

Talianda continued kissing her neck, and trailed down to her collarbone, pulling her closer to him. He bit down there too, being careful not to draw blood, but coming close. He leaned over her, lowering her and putting his other arm down to support them. He started tracing her spine with little gusts of air, cold and irregular.

Dante looked to the bandaged hand before sighing. "Nah, I really wouldn't mind. I just don't need the help of a woman." He glared off into the main room irritably before closing his eyes and bowing his head. "She's 'helped' enough for one day." He took another deep break before turning the water off on the faucet and carefully rubbing his arm. He just needed to sit. No... not sit. He dind't want chairs. He wanted to curl up and cry for the pain in his yoo-hoo spot.
"I need fresh air..." He muttered before pushing off from the counter. He stumbled a moment, his head swimming. He needed to lay down. |
Pre'acha'n nodded, yawning himself. "Oni, I hope you don't mind finishing the game later, I was out all day," he said through the yawn, stretching. "I'm really tired..." He ruffled Oni's hair, starting to trudge to his room.

Rain ignored them as she lay in the other room, simply laying on her back as she felt the soreness begin to leak out of her throat. She could ask others for help….no …. not yet. Not in this state… Janu whimpered with each kiss, pressing into him until she felt the bite. It caused her to shiver slightly and let out a small cry. Arching her back she whimpered gently, running her hand down his back slightly. She let her head fall back, exposing herself fully to him… ((wheee insert fade to black might be needed here)) |

Oni turned to the bird man and said,"It's okay, we'll have to finish it another time. Sleep well." He went immediately to Dante's side and wrapped an arm around him. It was more for support than comfort. He said softly, "Do you want me to help you somewhere? Your room maybe?" Though he wasn't sure the man could make it up stairs. "I know there's a bed in the med room."

Pre'acha'n stumbled halfway across the main room, turning to flop on thecouch andcurl up to sleep, using the nearest thing as a pillow- Rain. He was instantly asleep, a slight snore the only sound coming from him. ((Later, I need sleep)) |
Dante rubbed his face tiredly with his right as his left injured arm hung over Oni. "I'm fine, Oni... I'm just stressed... and in a bit of pain." He smiled weakly at him before closing his eyes. Even as he said that he leaned his weight against the boy. Well, Oni was comforting to him. He never had this much comfort before.
Taking a deep breath he finally looked around. "There's one of those? Huh... yeah, sure. That sounds nice." He wasn't tired at all, but out of it. If anything he just needed to close his eyes and wait for his head to fix itself. Too much had happened at once, and not one of them as good. |
Rain looked up as she heard the Raven, moving to sit up slightly when he collapsed nearly and lay on her as a pillow. Perfect…….this was just…….perfect. A man…….in her lap…… now. With a frown she lifted him and stepped out……..before dropping him with a thunk back on the couch and a distasteful sigh. She shook her head and glanced at Dante, sighing and saying simply “I could fix that if you’d let me…..” She shook her head, frustrated and annoyed but still sorrow won out. She didn't know why she bothered.....but she said it anyway and waited for him to not only refuse help but yell at her, her hands in her pockets. |
"Okay I'm gonna take you there. It's quiet, no one else is in there, and you can lay down for a bit," he said trying to make Dante feel better. He knew that the man could get annoyed with people and thought that someone out of the way was best. Since it was the med room not many people went in there since they could heal themselves. He heard Rain and bit his lip. Dante for some reason did not want Rain around but she kept coming over or saying things. Oni looked at the ground and said softly, "Please not now Rain . .he doesn't like magic."

"Ah..." Dante blinked, surprised by the last thing Oni said. "Oni... you should try to control your empathy more... you shouldn't have to read my emotions. They're too mixed right now." He sighed and looked away from everyone. Fear, depression, hatred, self loathing, Rain-Loathing, confusion, and a pretty ribbon of Paranoia to hold the whole package together nicely. "Rain, please. You've done enough. Just stay away from me." He didn't want to stay here anymore. He started off, leading Oni with him down the hall. From there, Oni would take the lead from him, of course.

“That‘s not why he didn‘t want me healing him…” Was Rain’s blunt answer to Oni as she shrugged her shoulders, her hands staying in her pockets as she stood by the couch. She didn’t say anything further, having half expected something like this to result. Oh well……She hadn’t expected him to understand that it was vital to destroying the warlock to well….know who it was so she could ensure Dante live and the warlock die. As Dante spoke she was surprised…….but only to hear dante say please rather then yell at her. Still she said nothing to him, merely staying where she was by the couch. Once she figured out how to cast the warlock out and kill him she would bother Dante whether he liked it or not but... If he wanted to have a broken hand let him…… at any rate at least it’d keep the warlock from using that hand……unless the bastard healed Dante himself. She wouldn’t think he could but at this point nothing would surprise her… |
Oni only let him lead part way and then took over letting the man rest on him. He made it into the room and set the heavy man on the bed. He got a wash cloth from near by and wet it with some bottled water. He gently wiped at his face, not so much cleaning but hoping it felt nice. He said softly, "Don't worry about what I feel. I'm not sick so I've got some control. I want to help anyway so it's okay. Do you want me to stay with you or would you like to be left alone?" Part of him wanted to stay but he wanted to do what would make Dante feel the best.

Dante flinched as the watered cloth touched his face. Really... what was this? He sighed, closing his eyes as relaxed against the medical bed. "You should practice blocking everything out at times. If he can get that down, then you can at least protect yourself when you need to. It sucks when a lack of practice comes back to bite you in the ass." He felt himself drifting to his thoughts for a moment until Oni's finally comment piped up. "I... I wouldn't mind if it was you. Just keep everyone else away from me if you're still awake. I don't need any more 'helpful' or 'charitable' people right now. Er... besides you..." He smiled to Oni weakly, placing a hand on Oni's head and messing with his hair gently. "Thanks, Oni."

It stung Oni a little at what Dante said about his lack of control but it was true. It was difficult though and in the facility they had spent most of their time teaching him to keep it open not shut it down. However, his mood changed when Dante said that he didn't mind having Oni around. Oni smiled and said softly,"Okay I'll stay here with you and make sure nobody comes in okay." He set the washcloth down and gave him a little kiss on the forehead. He was going to give him a hug but didn't want to hit his arm accidental.

Shrugging as they left Rain turned to the kitchen, retrieving her beloved coffee. She downed almost a whole cup quickly, not drinking alcohol because bad things happened when she did. She hadn’t expected Dante to loose control quite that badly….the possession was going along much faster then she could have ever envisioned. She was even tempted to ask Rin for help but suspected he wouldn’t know anymore then she did…. The main problem was the warlock could and would switch bodies if they tried to attack him in any of the usual ways….or even go off from any body and wait till their guard was down. He’d broken so many laws of nature…and so the usual rules simply didn’t apply….There had to be a way though.....had to be. ((whee xD *runs around bored*)) |

Dante blinked as Oni kissed his forehead before sighing and closing his eyes once more. "Mmmh... yeah..." He muttered before drifting off. Maybe he was tired... he'd already slept way too much for one day, but he couldn't help it.

Once Dante had drifted off to sleep Oni stood up and went to the door. He didn't want to leave him but he had to apologize to Rain. He went out and found Rain. He looked up and started to cry. "I'm sooo sorry Rain. I didn't mean to be mean. I was just worried about Dante and I could feel what he was feeling. Please don't hate me." He couldn't look at her since he was ashamed of how he had acted.

Rain leaned back against the wall, staring out the window blindly as she heard someone approach. She looked towards them only to have tears and a voice follow to tell her exactly who it was. Sighing she shook her head and looked out the window again before she spoke. “You’re so like Harry sometimes…. It’s fine Oni, I couldn’t hate you….It’s just been…a really bad day.” She said quietly, taking another sip of coffee as she continued her stanch refusal to cry though seeing Oni crying nearly pushed her over the edge for a split second. So what if he was back…..that simply meant she could kill him again so he could suffer death twice…just like he made poor lily have to. ((Lol exactly XD)) ((lol though now that I think about it... I'm not all that sure any man would really know what to do with Rain :P)) |
