Oh he was so inwardly pleased with her reactions. She was siren though and he would have to be careful around her but he was still enjoying himself. He stepped away to grab a bowl and said, "Of course. Here you are." He had grabbed the bowl and held it out to her and wondered if she would try to avoid touching him or perhaps 'accidentally' brush his fingers. He loved games such as this and wondered himself what would become of it. Though he loved the twistings and turnings of interaction he took it all serious, well except with Tidus.

“Thank you…” Amoni whispered quietly with a polite nod of her head, she barely glanced at him a moment. She hesitated, trying to calm the strange flutter in her chest while cursing herself for acting like some smitten little girl…well her version of such a thing anyway. Carefully she took the bowl in her own pale fingers, taking it so her fingers would not touch his as she knew that would lose her the fight against her lips. The seemingly emotionless being could not think of a worse curse then those damn lips. She turned, taking out a ladle and getting a good portion. She’d made more then necessary but she figured that she could finish it later. Sitting the bowl on the table she quickly put the leftovers in the fridge before sitting on the table. She glanced at him, confused at his behavior as she took a spoon full of the soup into her lips. Why did he seem ….pleased all the sudden? ((wheee clueless Amoni)) |

"You're welcome Miss Amoni," he made sure to say in pleasing tone. He noticed as she avoided his fingers but he kept smiling. He sat gracefully across from her so he would be able to watch her. He leaned back ever so slightly and said to her, "I know you have your personal reason but I must say it's a pity you cover your face so. You are quite stunning Miss Amoni and I am glad I have had this chance to look upon your visage." It may have been a bit too wordy but he was being honest. She was beautiful and it had been pleasurable to look at her. He hoped she would take the compliment but figured it might just make her more self conscious. |
Seeing him sat across from her she was slightly surprised, wondering why he would stay. He seemed to find her pleasant…and she tried not to feel her own pleasure at that. What a silly thing, she was far too old for this type of feeling she told herself…then again it wasn’t as if the ability to be attracted to people every really faded with age… As he spoke her lips became a deep enough pink one could almost think them red and her eyes went down to her soup as she blushed ever so slightly. The violet color was faint, but clear and she raced to stifle it. “I…” she paused, inwardly frowning at herself for her sudden embarrassment. She continued calm and polite once again but still inwardly unsure, “Thank you for the compliment. I appreciate it dearly….” She trailed off, her eyes staying on her soup as she resisted the urge to become self conscious, taking a bit of her warm salty stew into her lips and enjoying the taste… (wheeee he made the pale emerald statue show emotion XD)) |

He watched as her lips turned an even deeper shade and a faint blush rose. He was pleased that he had gotten even this reaction from her and listened as she tried to get her words out. "You're welcome. I have always believed it is part of a gentleman's duty to compliment a lady on her beauty. I am glad you are willing to keep such an old gentleman company. People tend to find me rather dry or surprisingly cheeky," he said with a laugh at the last comment. He watched her eat enjoying all the small movements of her body. |
She felt her blush half return as he spoke, not wanting to think of how she enjoyed his company for such…to her….trivial reason. She was not to afford such emotion…she thought as she struggled against it. She composed her face once more into that emotionless stone mask she always wore, taking a few more spoons of soup in thought. “”I enjoy the company…It makes me feel a little less strange…” Amoni finally answered, once she felt she once again had her iron grip on her emotion. As she subtly watched him for a moment from beneath her dark black-blue lashes she couldn’t help but think he could likely pull it away as if it were paper… ((Lol yes it is XD... and funny too to see Amoni all flustered and 'going what to I do O.O')) |
"I'm glad you are enjoying it as well but why should you feel strange here? This Inn has a handful of various types and most of them not of the norm. I like being here for that reason. Such a variety I find refreshing. Besides if you are strange then you should take pride in that and let your own uniqueness shine," he said feeling for the girl if she felt out of place here. He saw her gaze it and had no problem letting his own eyes meet hers. His eyes danced with happiness and mischief as he watched her. "It really is a pity you will be putting your veil on after your meal. I will have to come watch you eat so I might be able to look upon your pretty face," he said unashamedly flirting with her.

Hard to shine when few wanted to be around she thought absently to herself, though she quickly stifled it quickly. She was taught better then that, as long as she did good that’s all that mattered. She shook it off inwardly, however, feeling a slight comfort feel her. Someone who accepted her strangeness….she had always desired such acceptance but save from her papa doubted she’d find it. She blinked, starting subtly when he met her gaze and resisting the urge to look away though her lips became a deeper pink of embarrassment that she’d been caught. She might have been able to keep his gaze too…if he hadn’t spoke of her ‘pretty face.’ She dropped the spoon in surprise at the flirting, blushing as she reached out in a snake like manner to grab it before it hit the bowl with anymore then the lightest ‘tink. She blushed deeper, laughing nervously as she whispered softly “You flatter me….” |
Hito could see the change of color and openly grinned. When she dropped the spoon though he wondered if he had offended her and was going to apologize till he heard her words. His smile softened and he said, "I only speak the truth." He decided he better let her finish her stew in peace and figured he could hold back the flirting till another time. He changed the topic and said, "What are you going to be doing today Miss Amoni? If you are free perhaps you could accompany me to the wine cellar. I have a friend who collects and was interesting in seeing what rare items they had here."

As he grinned she began to wonder if he was playing with her, but quickly dismissed it. She did know one thing for sure….he was well aware of her subtle signs of emotion. He was sharp…and she had a crush on him….lovely… She stayed silent a moment as he spoke, finishing the last few bites of her stew as she debated. She could see no negative alternative motive and it would allow her to spend time with him that would keep his gaze elsewhere perhaps…. She finally nodded, managing a gentle but small smile. “I have no plans…I would like to though I know little of wine so will likely just stand there looking still as stone…” She let a small amount of amusement touch her gaze at this simple thought. |
"Agreed then. After you are finished we shall head down to the wine cellar. I can tell you a bit about it and I promise I won't drag on either," he said with a laugh having no qualms about making fun of himself. To her last statement he said, "Even stones are beautiful." He did not elaborate but statues and even rocks in nature were beautiful.

Amoni nodded as he spoke, always enjoying adding new knowledge to her collection. It was something she would be unlikely to use but it was still fascinating. She couldn’t help but be a little pleased, taking the last spoonful of her stew before placing the spoon into the now empty bowl. She might have said something but then heard his last statement, causing her to blush faintly again. “You…do enjoy flattery don’t you” She said with an embarrassed, if slightly pleased, laugh before she took the bowl and set it in the sink. She didn’t quite put her veil up yet, distracted as she rinced out her bowl. |
He stood up and pushed his chair in. He gave her a wink and simply said, "I enjoy telling beautiful women that they are indeed beautiful." With that he walked to the doorway and turned saying, "Shall we Miss Amoni." He was smiling as usual but had on his playful face as well hoping it would make her relaxed.

The combination of the wink and the statement got him a deeper blush then before, with a ghost of a smile to follow. She was a deep violet now, causing her to put the veil back in place once more. She walked to him, standing with her head slightly bent in an almost shy expression. “Lead and I shall follow” She suggested in her soft voice, though the tone was slightly less formal then usual. For Amoni it was an extremely relaxed sign despite her straight back. |
As her colors changed Hito was glad to know he still had some charm. His smile went down just a fraction when she put her veil back on. He brushed it off knowing that she felt better with it on than off. Normally he would have offered his arm but going through doorways and down stairs did not really make it possible. Hito lead the way making sure to walk at her pace. As they descended into the basement he said to her, "I did a bit of exploring the other night so that is how I found the wine cellar. I was surprised that they even have some cells down here as well. A good idea though." He wanted to keep the conversation going so he let himself ramble on a bit.

She noticed how he dropped his smile as she put up her veil, feeling a slight disappointment herself. She shook off the thought, looking away. Amoni could not allow herself to care so much…it was just a crush. Reminding herself of this she walked after him in her usual silent, cat like manner though her back was still rigid. She came behind him, cautiously touching her fingertips to his arm for just a moment as he said the cells were a good idea. She blushed and let her arm fall, glancing towards the cells and remembered one from long ago. “ Yes I could see their use…Have you explored the inn much?” She asked quietly, crossing her arms behind her in her usual formal stiff way . |
Hito had realized the slight brush and realized he must have said something wrong. He continued forward though saying, "Yes I do not sleep much if at all so I had plenty of time to explore. I must say though it is much nicer having someone with me than going alone." He made his way to the wine cellar door and held it open for her.

What a headache. Dante stirred in the bed, slipping out from the tangled sheets and arms of another with some ease before sitting up and moving his legs off the edge of the bed. What time was it? For that matter, what day? He still felt wiped out, but that was probably only because he had slept too much. He threw a pair of clothes on before leaving the vampire's room in search of something nutritious. Fuck the warlock or whatever the Hell he was. By this point he'd scare the bejeebus out of Rain again if it meant getting some food in his belly. Starving oneself wasn't the healthiest of choices, after all. Well, that was when he heard voices from down below. He followed them down the stairs, but never saw the couple. Soon their voices had disappeared. Hell, they either went to the basement or he was going nuts. He sighed before slipping behind the bar and examining one of the vodka bottles. He stared at it long and hard, memories oh Uriel coming back to him before he ditched it back onto the rack. He shouldn't be reminiscing. He grabbed the bottle of gin and a shot glass and placed it aside for himself before slipping into the kitchen to grab nothing other than food. Booze and food; sounded fantastic. |

Yes… Company is always nice…” She agreed with a deep blush of pleasure, walking in after him. She murmured a soft thank you as he held the door, bowing slightly before turning into the cellar once again. She leaned forward to peer at the bottles, peaking at him only once and hoping the darker cellar would hide that she had done so. “Did you find anything else interesting in your exploration?” She asked quietly to hide her inner thoughts…. Alone in a dark cellar with one’s crush…it is easy to see what thoughts she was resisting and inwardly disapproved off. |
Once they were both inside he shut the door behind him and walked forward with a smile. He walked down the first corridor making sure she was beside him since there was enough room to walk comfortably this way. He let out a bark of laughter at her question thinking of the various couplings. He said to her, "Oh yes very interesting in deed but I do not think it would make proper or polite conversation."
