Rain was stumbling down the stairs the second the scent of coffee hit her nose. She was dressed with a buttoned up shirt for once, the blue lace top barely visible below. Her near rape in front of so many was a little…violating. All thoughts of such darkness fled, however, as she saw the familiar form of her ‘Meri. She raced down stairs, coming up behind the other and simply hugging her silently. She had worried deeply for the other woman…and even forgot about coffee.


I will look…” Amoni answered quietly, looking through the pantry absently. She found the noodles surprisingly, causing her to smile softly and nod. She saw the flower petals absently as she returned, causing her to raise an eyebrow as she was sure they had not been there before… Shrugging it off she merely as some accident and placing the noodles on the counter next to him. A feather light touch of her fingers against his shoulder was her only mark she had or was there before she drifted to the table. She looked at the vampire woman absently.



I am not choking you.” Chandra replied with a hymph, tossing her hair a moment as she continued to hug the wolf. “Meanie.” She teased, sticking her tongue out at the wolf. She slowly stood, glancing at Emeriya and sensing she too was a vampire. The scent was unmistakable. She tilted her head to the side, watching a moment then glancing to see Hito had not reacted to the petals at all which were now floating in the sink. “Aww… No fun…” She muttered to herself.

Arina looked into the kitchen from her spot behind the bar. She'd only spaced for a moment but now the people in the kitchen had more than doubled. "hmm." She let out leaning against the door frame looking around "We have a lot of vampires here." she said softly with a small laugh. "And furry doggies." She giggled she wondered where Dalcha had wandered off to, probably to sleep with Ti. The doggie was more a joke directed at the wolf. "And Mr wolfie, unlike humans, most people here let their minds stay open for voices. So I'm sure most of us, will have no trouble hearing you." She said softly answering the question she'd heard earlier.

"Sorry, I was distracted last night Lonan, My name's Arina." She took a small bow in respect then grabbed another cup of tea. "You must have been starving. Ti keeps bringing back you furry fellows with him lately. I swear." She giggled and shrugged "I guess I''ll just have to order some comfortable beds for you and Dalcha then, though Dalcha seems to prefer to take up space on my or Ti's bed more than she would probably like her own."

Rain continued to clutch the other, letting silence draw out as she was uncertain of their future. She was falling for Emeriya but she wasn’t sure what to think of her lovers disappearance. She leaned over kissing the other’s cheek before taking a deep worried gulp of her coffee.


Amoni glanced up as he sat across from her, managing a small smile. She ate a couple bites, nodding slightly. “It is… Thank you…” She said softly, adding more salt out of habit. “My siren blood seems to make me require more salt then most….” She explained, nodding her head slightly. She watched him a moment from beneath her dark lashes, feeling slightly uncertain as to what would happen next. She was never good with people…and her lips stayed a bright embarrassed pink.



Chandra giggled at the many questions of the wolf, unable to answer them but still finding it entertaining. It was good to see someone ask questions as openly as she could when hyper. She leaned back a moment, smirking.

Dante murmured from his sport, stirring sickly. Ugh... he felt terrible. He pushed himself up off the counter and wiped some dool from the edges of his mouth before looking around. He hated this... everyone was to fricken tall compared to him now. It was hard going from one of the tallest people around to the shortest little bugger, you know!

He lowered his head into the palm of his hands before turning of the stool and hopping off. He stumbled a bit before eying the only creature at his level. "Okami...?" He muttered before shaking his head. Of shit, Japanese! He rolled his eyes before heading off towards his room. He couldn't stand the taste in his mouth. He needed to brush his damned teeth; tiny and all, of course...

"Well, let's see, Dalcha is a big fuzzy dog, I'm not quite sure what her name means. My name, well, my mother modified the name Arin which means enlightened. She just thought it sounded better with the A at the end. Ti, well, he'd be a Dhamphir, half vampire half human. And, this place would be called Ein Kuß der Schatten Inn." She smiled. "Now, I'm guessing that isn't all you wanted to know, so you keep asking, I'll keep answering as long as I know the answer." She suggested taking a sip of her tea. She liked answering questions.

Rain frowned a moment inwardly but then simply kissed the others cheek gently, “I’ll keep myself safe… as long as you keep coming back.” She only half teased, nuzzling her shoulder a moment before squeezing her waist gently. “I might forget to make my own coffee otherwise.” She murmured, taking a deep sip of the coffee once more. She then glanced at Chibi dante as he spoke, looking away quickly. He likely hated her now...


Next time? Amoni smiled at the thought, liking the idea of a next time… long as she got time with him. She inwardly chided herself, telling herself to stop acting like a teenager. She said nothing of her thought, however and simply gave him a small smile before eating a few more bites. “Thank you….I…it’s nice to have someone cook for me…will you…be around a while?” She asked quietly, knowing he came for his student and unsure if he would stay…

Lonan gave her a wolf grin. ~Alright. How many people are here? Is this a permanent place, or do people leave often? How long am I allowed to stay? Why do I smell magic, and blood, and feathers, and... water?? Is there a library here? Would I be allowed in it?~ He sat at Arina's feet, tail wagging faster and faster.

Rain let out a small sound of surprise and then contentment as she hugged her,, wrapping her arms around her. She nuzzled into Emeriya’s neck, clinging to her tight. She simply breathed in the other woman’s sent a moment, enjoying her.


Amoni nodded as he commented on his student, thinking of how much time on which she could depend. She dismissed the thought quickly, however, not liking the tug on her heartstrings it gave her. She simply turned to her noodles, only looking up as he asked her of her stay. She felt a brief satisfied flutter at the idea that he cared. “Well… I’m not sure. I have no home so tend to go where the wind takes me…” She said the last quietly, her eyes flying to his a moment in thought. Would he give her a reason to stay she wondered?

He gazed at her warmly and said softly, "Then I hope the wind will blow no more so you may stay here."

Arina let out a giggle. This was a curious pup. "Well lets see, there's quite a few people honestly. Permanent or temporary, depends on how long the person decides to stay really. There have been a few who left us and a few who stay. We'va a bit of a family formed really. You can stay as long as you like. Lots of people around here are magic users and hmm, well, water seems everywhere right? So you'd smell it. Feathers would be from Pre'chan[hope i spelled that right, going on memory here] We do have a library, it's on the second floor. And i don't see why not."
