"Dramatic?" Dante glared up at Rain, looking to the medicine and water for a moment with a bit of worry before shaking it off. No, why would she? He wiped his hand off on his pants and built up a bit of saliva in the back of his mouth before taking the pills from her and taking them down dry. It was useful to know these kinds of things!

He then took the glass from her and stuck his shirt under his arm. He went silent for a moment, then turned away from her. "Thanks..." He muttered weakly before opening the door and heading to his room.

Once there he dumped his shirt in the shower to deal with later, cleaned off his hands, and grabbed a fresh pair of clothes. He left the glass in his room after finishing off its contents and quickly headed out, making a straight trip to the baths. He opened the door to them and headed right in, only for his eyes to catch the least expected thing; a bare ass naked vampire. Well, perhaps it wasn't that unexpected...

He averted his gaze and covered his face with his free hand as blush rose to his cheeks. Fan-fucking-tastic...

“You’re welcome…” She muttered before heading towards the kitchen. She needed Coffee…NOW. Rain frowned to herself, not feeling too optimistic about today. It felt…strange….and that worried her. Then again…maybe it was nothing… She felt warm though, too warm. Had Dante given her whatever virus he had? Shit….

Oni jumped and backed away. He was pretty sure the horse didn't talk or else Lukas definitely would have mentioned it. He looked around scared and hide behind there horse. In a rather weak voice he said, "I know your there! D-don't come closer or my horse will eat you!"

Hito heard someone enter and turned around to see the boy. He said a simple, "Hello." He wondered if he felt any better but figured if he wished to talk about it he would. He did add though, "You can use this soap if you want. I had to search a little but it doesn't have any flowery or lady scent to it. I prefer to smell like a man."

"Er... thanks..." Dante muttered weakly before dropping his clothes on a bench. He picked a post further away from the other, stripping of his pants and such before slipping into the water. He sat straight down, the water reaching up to his little nose, though he hardly cared much. He could always move if he needed to breath. But.... but... why did there have to be another man here?

He reached up, rubbing his red face with the hot water in silence, hardly caring to break the awkward silence.

“I’m more likely to eat your horse.. then hurt you kid, calm down…” Chandra replied with a giggle, stepping deeper into the barn so he could see her. She had her hands on her hips and was looking at the horse, her head tilting curiously. It didn’t smell like a horse…she wasn’t sure what it smelled like but not a horse that’s for sure. She shrugged, having a policy of not feeding of herbivores, pets, or people so it wasn’t like it really mattered what the horse was… right now she had to calm down Oni. She ran a hand through her hair then sighed, adding “Sorry about that, It was just a joke…” She couldn’t help but feel a little guilty….

"No problem," he said to the boy. This one wasn't much of a talker so Hito wasn't going to bug the kid. He had to suppress a laugh though when the kid waded in till the water was up to his nose. Hito got to work scrubbing and cleaning his own body.

Oni saw the woman from before but did not move. "Who are you? What do you want?" he said still scared. What if she was from the facility?! His eyes went wide and he said fervently, "I won't go back! I won't!"

Dante couldn't help it. His eyes wandered over to the man as he scrubbed for a moment before he shook his head and dunked under the water. He had to get over this. But... who could have thought he'd get stuck in a bath with such an attractive person? He closed his eyes tight before popping back up to catch his breath and pushing the hair away from his face. How awkward. How old was that other man anyways? He looked young, but he had gray hair! Maybe it was some kind of a fashion statement...?

Amoni had a feeling…somewhere…something was happening that should make her jealous…she shrugged and went back to random forest training. XD

My names Chandra and I wanted entertainment….I’m staying at the Inn up there…” The vampire answered honestly, tilting her head to the side. She took off her top hat a moment to scratch her head, looking as bewildered as she inwardly felt. She put her hands back on her hips, simply gazing at Oni a moment in thought. So he was scared …that much was clear.

Finally she said “And…I have no idea what you’re talking about….going somewhere? I don’t want to take you or anybody anywhere….but I can go if you want…” She murmured, laughing softly as she decided to shrug off his fear. Whatever he was afraid of she wasn’t really it so it wasn’t any of her business.

Hito made sure that the little one came back up after popping underneath the water. Once he knew the boy was okay he continued to clean himself off. Once he was done he sat down in the more shallow area just to relax. Saying more to himself than anything, "Ahh this feel nice. Love a good hot bath."

"I-I I don't know you. I've never seen you at the Inn before. How do I know you're not laying?" he said wanting to believe the lady but still unsure. "You promise you don't want to hurt me or take me away?" he asked again.

I just got here a night or two ago…” Chandra said with a shrug, popping her little top-hat back on her head in thought. Finally as he spoke she raised an eyebrow, shrugging as she said simply “I promise I don’t want to hurt you or take you away….I don’t even know who you are…” The vampire laughed a little, leaning against one horses stall in thought. She began to play a slight of hand trick out of boredom, appearing to make a coin, then another up to three, disappear and reappear between her fingers. It was something she often did when she was thinking…ever since Marcus taught her the trick.

Dante looked back to the man again as he lounged and spoke. His eyes drifted to the other's chest before looking away again. He was a child. If anything did happen between them, then Hito would be a pedophile. Hell, that'd just be fricken creepy, now wouldn't it. He sighed, bowing his head shamelessly. "Yeah... nice..." He muttered before slipping to the water edge and blowing a few bubbles with his mouth. His eyes closed for a moment as he relaxed. His shivers were gone and he was tired again. He could fall asleep right now if he wanted to.

Oni wanted to believe her and plus she didn't look like the people that had taken him before. What really got him over his fear was watching her coin tricks. Unable to hide his curiosity he said, "Is . . is that your ability? You can do tricks with coins?" One thing Oni enjoyed about the Inn was seeing all the different things people could do.

Hito watched the boy blow bubbles and wondered if he would do the same thing when he was bigger. Hito could not help but laugh at the imaginary in his mind at that. He lounged back and said, "Warm water is nice when your dead."

What was so funny? He glared at the other before sitting upright and crossing his arms tight across his chest. "Right... dead..." He muttered before wincing. Well, he never had figured Hito was a vampire, really. He never had any proof. It just seemed that 90% of men in this place were. Vampire... Jesus; he was probably the weakest people in this entire place. That said a lot. "Oi, why are there so many vampires here?" He said out loud to the other. "Aren't you supposed to feed off the living? There aren't many of those here; especially not enough to feed all of you." He just couldn't understand it. Why not just live closer to your next meal?

Hmm? Oh this… It’s a trick but a fun one…. I could teach you.” Chandra responded with a laugh, seeing his curiosity and brightening a bit. She smiled to herself, turning her hand to show where she’d palmed the three coins then doing the trick again but with her hand staying turned so he could see each coin slide into place though her nimble fingers still made it hard. She smiled to herself, turning her hand and repeating the trick so it once again appeared ‘magic’ even though it wasn’t. She debated showing him her one extra ability past a handful of physical vampire traits…but was unsure. Being it required taking a chunk of her soul essentially it always temporarily took away some of her vampiric speed and strength….if she used enough of it or a piece of it was kept by someone she could often end up as physically weak as she’d been as a fairy….weaker then a human….and she hadn’t hunted today so that seemed unwise.

Hito could tell he had not been pleased with the laughter but he also knew he would be in more trouble if he explained why he laughed. Hito listened to the question and what the boy had to say. "I am here because I am Tidus' teacher. There are a few more things that youngster has to learn. Yes we do feed off of the living. You need not worry though when I feed I go into town and do not need much. Besides with how old I am I can go for long periods of time with out feeding."

"Really? You - you could teach me how to do that trick?" he asked her still quite curious. Without realizing it Oni had stepped out from behind the horse and had taken a few steps forward. He asked, "But isn't it magic or something?"

Dante sighed, rubbing his face again. Who the Hell was Tidus? Another vampire he didn't know about? Though, the way this man had treated Ti... duh. He rolled his eyes as the answer came to him before looking to the other again. "Then why aren't you teaching him? You sound like you're on a mission, but whenever I see you you're fawning over some green Neko." Oh yes, he did say it. Neko. Japanese for cat, and the usual word used in place of 'Cat-girl.'

Nope, it’s called slight of hand. It’s made to look like magic without a person having any…Humans created it even.” She replied cheerfully, slipping one of the coins in her pocket. She then placed one of the coins on the stall wall next to her where Oni could walk up and get it if he wanted. She then held out her hand so he could see where she palmed it and did the trick as slowly as she could.

“See, what you do when it ‘disappears’ is palm it in the center of your hand like this, then push it out between your fingers so it looks like its’ magically reappearing. It takes practice to hold it in your palm like that yet look empty handed but I’m sure you can do it. There’s also fancier ones where you pretend to pull it from behind someones ear and things but I like to keep it simple…” She laughed softly as she ended.

Hito just looked at the boy for a moment. He remembered now why he disliked and avoided most living creatures. They were always so rude in their manner of speech. "For vampires we see time differently then other creatures do so the pace which we do things is different as well. Besides it is nice to take time for one's self. As far as Amoni is concerned, yes I do enjoy spending time with her." He gave the boy a look and said, "Dante do you enjoy your life? Does it please you or are you merely surviving? I would rather live a handful of years enjoying people and things around me than spend immortality as an anal paranoid coot."

Oni watched with rapt attention as she explained the trick to him before asking, "C-could you teach me how to do that?" He really wanted to learn especially since his power was boring.

“Yup, there’s a coin right there if you want to use it.” Chandra said simply, pointing towards the coin she’d placed on the stall wall. “You don’t even have to touch me” She teased, repeating the trick absently with the single coin in her own hand. “I’ll teach you, I don’t have much better to do.” She laughed, a small bell like sound. She was enjoying it really and now that he was calm she felt much better herself.

Oni reached out and took the offered coin. He tried it once remembering how she had done it but failing miserably. "This is hard huh," he said to her as he tried once again.

"Oi!" That was going too far! When the Hell did this bastard figure out-, well... last night may have made it a bit obvious... "I'm not paranoid!" He muttered angrily before looking away, unconsciously rubbing his bruised throat. He fell silent, though, honestly thinking over what the vampire had said. Did he enjoy life? Like Hell. He was a tool and he knew it. There was no escaping it, though. He was only human. If it wasn't the mafia using him, it was the government. What was he supposed to do? Resign? The MAFIA? How well would that go? A few days of peace, then a shot in the head, that's how well.

Of course, being in the mafia made him a target for other mafias, and well.... He sighed heavily and lolled his head back. "I wasn't even insulting you, bastard. Did you really have to say all that...?"

Yeah, but you’ll get the hang of it.” Was Chandra’s encouraging reply. She grinned at him, happy that she seemed to be making friends with some of the more skittish tenets. She wasn’t so sure about the others yet, finding them grumpy, stuffy, or both so far…like the Jade Statue lady….Well…except when she was around the old vampire. Chandra giggled at the thought.

Hito lifted an eyebrow and simply said, "Well it is true that's I how feel about my existence. I did not mean to insult just wanted to make you think. I am sorry if it offended or upset you." He did not think this one had a very good life. He felt bad for the human but knew it was not his place to interfere.

Oni continues to practice.

There you go” Chandra said approvingly as she watched him get a little better. She smiled a moment and nodded, tossing her coin in the air and catching it a moment randomly. She could hear the rain and she let her mind wander to it, enjoying the sound. She loved the rain…It wouldn’t be fun to hunt in later but… she still loved it. She frowned a moment, however, as she thought of Oni. ‘Excuse me, I need to go hunt down and drain an animal of it’s blood, be back soon…’ Just didn’t sound appropriate…

Oni smiled at the praise and said, "I'll get it and then I can show Ti and Lukas." They would like that he had learned something new and it was cool too.
