Oni's eyes went wide as he was thrust to the floor. There was smoke filling the room and then people rushing in. At Dante's urging Oni ran quickly towards the stairs.
Hito heard the crash and immediately rushed the first man he saw. It took a mere matter of seconds to rip his head clean off. Hito then went for the next one. |
Dante was surprised that the vampire had such-... nevermind.
He breathed, waiting for Oni to reach the staircase before standing on the couch and shoving his back against the wall. He peered warily out at the forest, taking note of who was outside before breaking the glass further and firing. The distance and darkness of night made it harder on him, but after two or three shots he took down one of the men outside. But there was only that one. One man rushed past Hito with a matching speed. He was fast, agile, and able to avoid the vampire. He was perfect for this position. He went to the middle of the room before falling into a roll and twisting his body to face the group. A hiss emitted from beneath his helmet as he eyes the armed boy, women, and other vampire. |
Instantly Amoni’s back was ramrod straight…annoyed. Of course….she’d relaxed…something bad had to happen…merely natural. Even as these sarcastic thoughts came to mind and gas filled the room she was up, moving towards the couch slightly to crouch there cat like. She did not care guns on her person though she knew how to use them. So she went to the two that Dante had fallen, her charms becoming sharp pieces of metal before she used them similar to throwing stars with deadly efficiency. They were protected from her powers, she could feel it on them, but she had been trained well not to depend on her powers. She gripped up one gun from one of the men, eyeing the hissing creature. Inhuman clearly…She released a single of her small crescent moon blades, testing the creature rather then trying to particular hurt it at the moment. She aimed it for his neck but suspected it would not easily hit there… |
Oni was terrified. He knew that he had told Dante he would be braver but it was really really hard. He was running up the stairs but at the top he tripped and fell on the floor. He couldn't help but glance back to see what was going on.
Suddenly he heard more breaking glass from upstairs and wiped his head around to where the noise was. Were more men coming? Hito was surprised this other vampire would be with so many mere humans. It seemed to be either an old vampire like himself or an altered one. He guessed that it was the later since it's scent was off. He ignored the humans leaving them for the human Dante. He hoped Amoni would be okay but he did not think she was the defenseless sort of woman. Hito used his speed and strength to go after the vampire. He was surprised that his blow only glanced the other vampire. He got a stronger smell of him though and knew now that he was altered. He hated it when creatures did things like this. He would have to watch himself and the others carefully. |
Dante left the others to take care of what was left. His ears had picked something up; something he hardly ever wish to hear. Humming. The choppy hum of a helicopter. He grit his teeth, rushing up the stairs after Oni, fear lacing him. The boy had to be alright; he had to be!
Two windows shattered; the man fell into a roll, aimed their guns wildly, ready to take down any annoyances before rushing through the room doors and into the hallway. One of them was right beside Oni. He reached down, gripping the boy by the hair before ripping him up to his feet. He released the boy only for but a second before wrapping and arm around the boy's neck and choking him. That was when Dante had gotten there. He aimed at the soldier, but before he could fire he felt cold metal against his skull. He stopped, eyes wide as he stared up at Oni. No... no... why now. Why ever? He glanced towards the second soldier warily, his heart practically jumping out of his chest. "The gun." The man ordered to Dante, and with such Dante carefully placed it on the top of the stairs. His eyes never left Oni, watching the boy helplessly, holding in every bit of anguish that was twisting his insides. He wouldn't allow himself to look weak; he wished Oni would do the same. |

Amoni suppressed a wince as the vampire jumped forward, worrying for him as much as he for her. She watched the blow glance off and inwardly nodded. Yes… she’d known it wasn’t human…but this confirmed it even more… She would have to be careful… She waited, taking on a slightly defensive posture. She flickered her ear, hearing the sounds of a helicopter now. Her eyes followed Dante a moment, looking at the two. She instantly turned the gun she’d taken onto the soldier holding a gun at Dante’s head, her aim perfect as she shot at the center of his neck and more specifically his spine, paralyzing from the neck down. She suspected Super vamp standing to Hitos defenses wouldn’t let her do much more but… all she had to do was free Dante to give them a chance. ((his spine go kabloooeh xD)) |
Oni tried to get up to run away but he was too slow. One of the men had reached him pulling him up by his hair. He gasped out in pain but it was cut off as the man began to choke him. His eyes went wide with fear as he struggled to get away. He was loosing oxygen and everything started to go in circles.
Hito was now locked in battle with the other vampire. He knew the others would not be able to help since the speeds at which they were moving could hardly been seen by the human eye. If any evidence could be seen of their battle it would be a sudden table busting or items crashing. The vampire was good and they were equally matched. They had placed about the same about of wounds but nothing too serious for the other. If something did not change it could be a long fight. |
Dante didn't think twice about his luck. He grabbed his gun and rushed forward, falling into a roll behind the soldier. His hit his back and pointed his gun up, shooting straight up an opening in the back of the man's helmet right into his head. The man collapsed, his grip on Oni failing and releasing the boy. Dante reached out and grasped the boy's hand before ripping the dead soldier back and helping Oni up. He bit down on his pistol as he pulled his cellphone out, dialing in his boss' number before texting a few numbers to the man. They seemed random, but they were in actuality a distress 'signal.'
He dropped his cellphone and ripped his pistol from his mouth as he heard something else come from around the corner. His eyes went wild as he twisted, only to receive the butt end of a gun to the top of his head. He felt everything leave him then as warmth surrounded his head and neck. He fell back, only to be caught by the soldier that had knocked him out and picked up roughly. The soldier then aimed his gun at Oni and signaled for him to rise. "Up. Let's go." |
Oni was so glad when Dante got the man but he was still a bit dizzy. He thought for a moment they might get away till another man came who dropped Dante like a fly. Oni shook in terror as the man pointed the gun at him. Oni did as he said and stood up to follow the man. He remembered his link to Ti and sent a screaming plea for help to his new father. As he walked forward Oni almost tripped again due to dizziness. He hoped the man wouldn't hurt him.

Amoni wanted to help Hito badly, and a soft pain showed in her eyes at having to walk away but her nose caught the scent of familiar blood. She turned, racing up the stairs along the banister to avoid the body. She aimed another shot at the man holding dante, again aimed at the spine. She watched for any movement should she have to defend herself mid run… but something felt wrong. ((Waits for someone to answer her question.....* )) |
Something indeed was wrong. Soldiers usually moved in squads of two or three. Amoni would feel cold metal against the back of her neck, halting her movement. "Drop the gun." He said simply.
The man kicked Oni hard to force him forward before turning and aiming at Amoni. He fired his gun straight at both shoulders, hardly caring if he might hit the man behind her. All he wanted was to immobilize her and leave with their goodies. After firing his rushed after Oni, tossing his gun aside before gripping the other boy and yanking him towards the window where a drop down ladder had been left. He Shoved Oni towards it, growing very impatient. "Up." |
Oni gave a cry when he was kicked. When the man roughly grabbed him he whimpered but did his best to go along with him without making him any angrier. He was scared and the ladder didn't look very safe but he didn't have a choice. He reached out shaking and somehow managed to grab hold. Slowly he began making his way up the ladder but at his current rate it would take a while.
Hito was not aware of the situation. He was fighting for his life and whoever the hell this vampire was he was not recorded in the elder's books. Hito managed to get a blade in the other vampire but he knew it was not immobilizing. |
Amoni hummed lightly, not even looking at the man behind her though she dropped the gun obediently. The hum, however, in her hand was a now sharp metal, while dropping the metal she used the cat demons speed to duck as the one holding a weapon on her fired and she drove the sharp piece of metal into his wrist so it became useless and he dropped his own weapon. The shot he had fired managed to tear through her ear and cause her a hiss of pain but that was all. She heard the shots and ducked instantly, though the motion was not quite quick enough in the fact that the bullet tore the tops of her shoulders and burned them slightly before passing into the soldiers partner. She turned, in pain but not immobilized to hiss at the man… the gun had fallen down stairs… she kicked out at the shoulder in front of her, not knowing where the two bullets of his partner had hit him. She turned, searching for Oni and the soldier… he was already on the ladder damn it. She tossed the crooked peice of metal in her hand towards the neck of the soilder but the wounds did take away some of her prescission... |
The soldier growled, gripping the alder and stepping onto it. He ruthlessly slammed his hand against Oni's backside in order to force the boy to continue. "HURRY IT UP! DAMN!" He jumped from the window sill, looping his legs around the rope before unhooking and slipping a flash grenade from his belt. He didn't trust this place, and thus, he'd use an extra precaution. He tossed the flash grenade into the room, letting it go off with a whine as the helicopter took off with them hook tightly on.

Amoni had started after them when she heard something hit the floor, her ear still burning. Soon it would burn less then her eyes, however, as her cat like eyes made it even more blinding and painful. She could see nothing but dim shapes and fell back into a crouch with a painful hiss. Her head felt like it was on fire… which well technically her ear was burned from the bullet. She shook her head looking towards hito’s fight. She couldn’t follow the helicopter this way so for a moment she blinked, her unwounded ear twitching towards Hito’s fight. She shivered, a little, listening in thought with her claws released. She had never been so angry…. ((flash grenade the one time one does not want to have light sensitive cat eyes XD)) |
Oni cried out as the man hit him again. He tried to go faster but couldn't he was shaking too much. He whimpered and clung tightly to the ladder unable to move because of fear. He said through chattering teeth, "I-I I can't I'm scared." The helicopter started to move and Oni clamped down as tight as he could to the flimsy ladder.
The other vampire suddenly stopped for a moment, grinning and left dashed out side. Hito stayed on his trail chasing him through the forest. |
The soldier growled, climbing up closer to Oni. He looped his legs again and gripped Oni by the back of the shirt, forcing him up. "Brat! I don't have time for your fucking fears! Get up there already!" If Oni didn't follow the grip up, he'd only end up being chocked from the hold.
The Helicopter was well over the forest now, rushing off across the vastness of trees. It had a location for base; somewhere to keep these two until they set out towards base. They couldn't take the chance of being followed, after all. |
Oni tried his mental link again with Ti before trying to follow the man's orders. He realized the man may kill him if he didn't go so Oni somehow managed to make his way up the ladder. He was crying unable to control it. He really wished he was braver.

Amoni hissed, shaking her head as she tried to clear it. She ran to the window, still not able to see shapes well enough to spot a rapidly disappearing helicopter. She turned, hearing something leave. She walked towards it, realizing the two vampires were gone. She ignored the burning sensation in her head and shoulder. Running to the window she leaped out, landing on all fours. She tried to pick up oni’s scent. She could pick up some but of course the wind made it too inaccurate to follow. The had brought the vampire…the expected supernatural beings…this was not good… |
The soldier climbed into the helicopter after Oni and tossed the bleeding unconscious boy at him before pulling the rope ladder up. The pilot looked back at the group curiously before heading straight for their next base.
The soldier in the back grabbed a pistol from his side. He looked to the other boy before grinning wickedly. They said alive, but they never said anything but that. With one heavy strike with the butt of his gun the purple haired boy's skull had been cracked. He'd been knocked out cold. |
Hito was gaining on the other vampire when a trap snapped suddenly. Hito jumped to escape it but it had been an extremely well thought out trap. It had been made to hit the target from almost every direction. A metal bolt went through his leg and another through his stomach. He managed to dodge the rest but by the time he got out of it the vampire was no where to be seen.
He pulled out the bolts and rushed back to the Inn to check on the others. |
Still not relying to much on her sight Amoni sniffed the air, smelling hito…and blood. She ran towards it, avoiding the shapes that did not smell like hito as her healthy ear twitched. She was looking for him and soon found him near the front of the inn, her eyes filled with worry. “You’re injured…” She nearly whimpered as she stumbled near the inn door. |
Hito gave a weak smile and said, "You aren't looking so great yourself either. I'm already dead so don't worry about me. Where are you wounded?" He tried to sound more upbeat than he was but usually it did help calm others. He asked, "Where are the boys? Do you know if they are okay? That vampire was altered somehow and was quiet a bugger to fight."
