The cat watched the other two a moment, smiling faintly as the other hugged her. It was so cute, and it caused the corner of her lips twitching into a half smile. Vuri was so happy here….they all were. It was something in the air practically.

“You want tuna” she finally answered Vuri with a grin, watching the other. She then stepped forward to ruffle the other girls hair, glancing at the roof a moment. “Hmm…I… Haven’t had chocolate or cream in a long time.” The woman then blushed, grinning slightly as she looked at Arina

Arina nodded and put both chocolate and Cream on the list. "Now I just have to get the others to put something and I'll head out. We'll have a day of special treats." She said happily clapping her hands together. "It will be a splendid evening indeed." She stated matter of factly 'I just know it.... as long as I can manage to have everyone around at the same time you know... " She trailed off blushing a bit.

"Yes! Tuna!" Vuri jumped up and down. "That was amazing. She then turned back to Arina. "What is candies and chocolate? They are special treats right?" She was confused. And she felt a bit dumb. There were so many things she didn't know about the world. She blushed at her own denseness.

Arina giggled and nodded "Candies and chocolates are sweets, special treats that you shouldn't eat too much of, or too often." She tried to explain. "I may have some small candy for you around here somewhere, the candy maker has a habit of spoiling me regularly." She mentioned and searched through the cupboards and smiled as she found a small tin. "Ah, here we go." She said pulling it out and opening it to show the small hard candies that seemed to have a gooey center. 'They are all different flavors, red is cherry, pink is strawberry, orange is well... orange, green is apple and purple is grape." She explained picking out a pink one for herself.

Yes, they’re treats.” She stated with a laugh. She gave Vuri a small hug gently, glancing down towards Arina in thought. She blushed, tilting her head to the side as she thought how gentle she was. Janu turned to look at Vuri, letting go of her a moment and sitting down at the table. She couldn’t tell them the shadows were getting worse, they were too happy, everything too sweet.

"Janu, would you like a candy?" Arina asked holding the box between her and Vuri. She had always been more gentle and motherly in her ways. She just couldn't help wanting to help people, and wanting them to be happy. Something in her just pushed to get the smiles out of even complete strangers.

Vuri listened to Arina intently and watched as she brought a small tin from the cupboard. Seeing Arina pick a pink candy, Vuri picked an orange one, it was her favorite color after all. She popped it into her mouth after unwrapping it. It tasted delicious! "Mmm."

Janu smiled, nodding slightly and taking a cherry candy. It had been yeeeeaaarrrs since she’d had candy and cherry was her favorite. She took it a moment and let the flavor melt slowly. She leaned against the table a bit, her mind still on the shadows. Something was going to happen soon…she knew it.

((Arina passes out? x.x Oh noes!..I'll think of something))

Vuri's eyes were closed, savoring the candy when she heard a thump. She immediately looked down to see that Arina had collapsed to the ground. She looked quickly to Janu, then back to Arina, then keeled on the floor next to her and held up her head. "Arina!" She shouted again "Arina?" her mouth took the shape of a frown.

Janu bit her lip in uncertainty, twisting as Arina fainted. The feline sighed inwardly, picking up the small girl by the shoulders. “Grab her feet…” She suggested finally, still holding the girls shoulders. She figured she could move her on a couch near the fire, it had to be better then the hard kitchen floor. "I guess she needed sleep more then we all realized. .." she half joked.

Vuri did as Janu asked and picked up Arina's legs to carry her over to the couch. "Yeah.." She half-laughed at Janu's comment, though she was hoping that really was all that was wrong with Arina.

As they reached the couch she gently sat Arina down, waiting for Vuri to do the same. She reached out to grip the other’s shoulder gently, giving her a comforting smile as she touched the silver satin of her skirt. Arina’s gift…. What if she lost Arina? She …She couldn’t. The feline stayed outwardly calm, however, though she heard a hissing in the shadow. She glanced towards it and stood slightly in front of the other two girls…something wasn’t right.



((Oooh O.O perfect opportunity to make her embrace what she is a little. Shadows are going to be naughty XD))

Vuri set Arina's legs carefully on the couch. She noticed Janu's stance shift a bit, but she said nothing of it. She rubbed her arms. "It's a bit chilly in here..." she said calmly. "I think i'll put another log on the fire." She said as she walked towards the logs that were stacked next to the fire.

(( XD Yay!!))

Okay…” She whispered softly, though she seemed a little worried. She began to peak through the shadows with her powers when she saw small moving creatures, about the size of a small cat but shaped more like humans with clawed hands. One suddenly darted out, showing it was mainly made of solid shadows to trip Vuri so she’d fall backwards. Another headed for the flames, reaching into the fire to pull out a bit of burning wood and throw it on the floor. Both shadows then ran into the nearest shadow and disappeared. The hissing and scrapping, however, showed there was more. Janu ran to put out the fire by stomping on it, glancing at Vuri to see if she’d fallen. “Are you okay? Vuri…I’m I’m so sorry” The suddenly scared Feline whispered, glancing to the shadows. She bit her lip, wishing she could more then just see them.

((Yusss XD. Her daddy needs her to accept her powers before he can eat them ))

Taking a few more steps towards the fireplace, Vuri fell. She caught herself on her hands, internally thanking herself that she was still part cat. She looked up to Janu as she got up and brushed herself off as Janu stomped out the fire. "Yeah." she paused not asking anything about why she put out the fire. "I'm...fine...what'd I trip on? I guess I should watched where i'm going more." She giggled lightly, looking at the floor. When she looked back up, she noticed that Janu wasn't looking quite right. She seemed scared. "Janu?" Vuri asked. "Is everything okay...?"

It… Vuri just… do me a favor and sit by Arina okay? And pull your legs up so that your completely on the couch.” Janu stated, trying to stay calm as she saw the creatures milling around in the shadows and beginning to chant so likely even Vuri could hear.

“Blood, blood, blood.” they said, some standing on each others shoulders. They were getting ready to attack, about five of them. They could not stop…not till there purpose was filled. Blood must be spilled…that their master had decided.

Vuri started to get a little frightened but she was mostly confused, just because she didn't know what she was frightened of. She sat up on the couch like Janu asked and pulled her knees up t her chest. He heard voices, but she couldn't quite tell what they were saying. "Janu.." she said rather quietly. "What about you, Janu. Are you going to be okay?"

The truth was, she didn’t know… Something about this time felt different. Still she merely gave Vuri a smile and stated quietly, “ of course…” as she reached her senses into the shadows. That gave her enough that she would be able to predict where they were coming from anyway.

She began to pace a little in front of the couch, biting her lip a little. As one leaped for Vuri she reached out and grabbed it, her hands half starting to pass through it before her hands gained a soft, dark glow. She gripped it fiercely then and threw it across the room. She had no way of knowing that reaching to the shadows like this was exactly what was wanted of her. “Vuri… just tell me if I miss one okay…” She whispered, hoping not to scare her but knowing it was likely inevitable. She had to be able to stop it…somehow. If she could see, she should be able to touch. …

Her heart was beating fiercely, but Vuri remained calm, only flinching when she saw shadows near her. She watched in amazement as Janu's hands seemed to glow. She wished there was something she could do to help, then Janu spoke to her. Vuri nodded. "Of course." she was slightly worried, but she remained strong for Janu, just as she had told Tal yesterday, she would try to be stronger. "Oh, there's one! Right in front of the fire place, on the brick." She pointed.

Janu had never been able to make the glow and touch the monsters before… but then again she’d never tried that hard either. You see, she was coming to a conclusion now that there was other lives in danger then her own….She was willing to become a monster, if it let her ‘angels’ live.

She turned towards the one on the brick, focusing again to grab the shadowy beast and throw it away from her once more. She then half spied movement, seeing one jumping for Vuri. Her eyes briefly became black as midnight with a small silver blue pupil. “LEAVE THEM ALONE.” She shouted, the shadows seeming to vibrate with her emotion as a black wall of shadow rose from the couch’s shadow to block the attacking shadow and send it rolling backwards….leaving claw marks in the floor. For a moment…Janu’s shadow had a cat like tail and she let out a small hiss, the shadows the monsters were hiding in suddenly turning on them and eating them whole.

Janu then fell to her knees, trembling at the shadows she’d touched. She’d felt…felt something else in it this time. Something that made her feel like the one who transformed her had. She also felt weak as her shadow and eyes returned to normal, trembling from an inner fear as she gripped the couch arm. No….Was she really just like that? But… Ti controlled the shadows and wasn’t evil…maybe… maybe she could be both her grandfather’s princess and one of the se shadowy cats.

Vuri flinched as Janu yelled at the attacking shadows. She watched her eyes change into something almost demon-like. Janu wasn't acting like she normally did, but Vuri wasn't afraid. In fact she felt safe. Vuri rushed down to the other feline's side and placed a hand on her back. "Janu, Are you okay? is everything alright? Are you hurt?" She looked again to the marks in the floor, amazed at what Janu was capable of.

((I have to go do the dishes really fast. x.x It shouldn't take me long))

I’m…I’m okay…” She replied, reaching to hug the other around her waist since she felt to weak to stand. She simply held on to Vuri, trembling still in half fear. Was she a monster? She would have laughed at the irony any other time…to think she could feel both more powerful then usually yet more terrified…

Vuri blushed as the other hugged her around the waist. She placed one hand on Janu's back and another on her head, stroking her hair. Vuri could feel her trembling. Oh Janu... she thought. She stoked the other's hair, trying to calm her. She bent down and whispered in her ear. "Thank you." She said calmly, then with a slight blush, gently kissed the top of her head.

Janu closed her eyes at the gentle stroking, beginning to soothe a little though still trembling as her mind probed the shadows out of paranoia. She’d….protected them but what about the shadows, were they really gone? She couldn’t know for sure…just knew they were gone for now. She leaned upon the other feline, blushing faintly from the kiss on her head and looking up before moving on to a chair. She touched the satin cloth spilling around her legs and half smiled. For once they had not ripped it…

She frowned a moment and sighed, shaking her head as she remembered Vuri’s thank you. “You shouldn’t thank me….its my fault their here. They keep coming for me and I don’t know why.” she ran a hand through a bit of her hair, biting her lip.

"But it's not you're fault that they're following you! Vuri retorted. "It isn't your fault." Vuri frowned at Janu's remorse. "It isn't your fault if you couldn't help their coming here." she said. "Just think of what would had happened if you didn't act the way you did, if you didn't protect Arina and I." she looked down at the sleeping Arina.
