Oni held onto the carrot while Dante took the cherries. "Okay," he said enthusiastically and ran to the door. Once he was outside Oni was thrown into a state of awe. Little white flecks were falling from the sky and a blanket of white covered the ground. He said to Dante, "I-It's so pretty. I didn't know snow could be so pretty." He reached out with his hand to grab a falling flake only for it to melt in his hand.

"Mmmh. It is." Dante smiled, placing the cherries in a pile on the snow before walking through about a little over a foot of snow. "To start a snow man..." He started before crouching down and balling up some of the snow. Perfect; it was sticky. "You need to make a snow ball." He held it out, showing it to the boy with a grin.

Oni turned to Dante still in awe of the snow. He looked at the snow ball Dante had made. He stuck his hands in the snow and wished he hadn't. It was soooo cold. He pulled his hands out and put his gloves on. Now he made a ball like Dante did and asked, "Like this?" He wanted to make sure he had done it right.

Oni wondered about something and scooped up some snow with his free hand. He brought it to his mouth and ate it. "It taste a little funny," he said.

"It should taste like water... only really cold." Dante said before traveling back to him and looking to the snow Oni have scooped up. "There are four forms to matter. Matter is everything. Snow, trees, your hair." He reached up and messed the boy's hair, leaving some bits of snow behind in it. "Solid, which is anything hard, really. Something that keeps shape. Like ice or a tree. Liquid which is free moving, yet a bit magnetic. It usually holds together, like when you put too much in a glass and the water bubbles over, but doesn't spill. There's a form called gas which is air, steam, perfumes, that kind of thing. It's free moving. Then there's lasers. You know what those are, right?" He winked to the boy after his little lesson before holding up his nowball. "This is a solid form of water."

Oni listened to Dante carefully and replied, "Okay I think I got all that. Ya lasers are like lights but different right?" Oni looked down at the snow and tasted it again. It sort of tasted like water and sort of didn't. "So could you eat snow instead of drinking water?" he asked Dante wondering.

"Yeah, sure. But only top snow that's blanch white. If it's not white, then it's bad for you. At the same time, water it safer. They treat it so that you can drink it." He moved further into the yard before crouching down again and packing more snow into the ball, making it bigger and bigger. "Common, you wanted a snowman, right? Do what I do."

"Oh," he said and dropped the snow in his hand not eating anymore. "Yeah I wanna snowman," he said quickly and got down into the snow and started to roll his own small snowball around. He rolled it rather enthusiastically and it ended up being very odd shaped. He was grinning though and looked at Dante to ask, "How this? Is it big enough?"

"Mmmh, make it a bit bigger. The rounder, like a sphere, the better." He was only half way there himself. He was keeping his pace and kept to the same area until finally it was big enough to push around with his long legs.

Oni said with a smile, "Okay I'll make really big and round." He began pushing his now large snow ball around. He was still very excited and full of energy as he made it larger. He had gotten it pretty big but he could not longer move it. "Dante! It won't move any more," he said to him.

Dante watched, a grin spreading across his face. It was half the size of Oni! Perfect! "That's because you're too weak, silly! It gets heavier over time!" He finished his own, glad is was smaller that Oni's. He hefted it up before placing it over Oni's ball of snow. He fitted it and made sure it would stick well before looking to Oni. "Now we need a head. About... this big." He held his hands out to measure the size of the head before winking to Oni. "Think you can do it?"

"I-I I'm not weak . . just a little skinny," Oni replied without much conviction. He knew he was weak but he didn't want to be. He watched as Dante lifted the other snow ball and put it on his now unmovable one. He wanted to be as strong as Dante. . maybe someday. When Dante gave him the task of making the head he felt useful again. Smiling he said, "Okay I'll do it." He made a snow ball and went to work. With all his energy it did not take long. Turning to Dante he said, "Okay Dante I finished it."

Gabriel

A loud scream echoed through the house as a twtiching Gabriel reached for his pills, his arms seizing. On complete will power aloe he managed to get two pills down his throat. After a few more moments of pain, it started to subside and a limp Gabriel let out a long sigh and spread out on the bed, trying to let his now tense muscles relax..

"Good, now the-" Dante's eyes flashed wide as Gabriel's voice broke the peaceful silence. His breath stopped for a moment as adrenaline rushed through him. Did he take his pills? Damn! Was he alright!?

"Oni, let's go! Really quick, alright!?" He grabbed the boy's hand without waiting for a response and pulled him off back inside and upstairs to Gabriel's room. He shot in, stumbling a bit at the sight of Gabriel. He released Oni and moved to his bedside, leaning over the man and placing an ungloved hand on his cheek. "You should set an alarm or something. Save yourself from the pain, Gabriel..." He sighed and smiled weakly down at the man, relieved that he was safe.

( Don't forget the snow sparkling aaaall over Dante. And melting, too. <D Wet Dante. )

Gabriel

Gabriel was breathing slightly heavy and looked up at the man Gabriel had learn to love. Weakly he reached up, placing her hand on the boys cheek, shivering slightly at the cold. "You're all wet.." He said softly letting out a laugh and pulled the man down into a soft kiss. "The pain is worth it if it lets me see you once its over."

Oni froze in terror at the scream but it seemed Dante knew the origin of it. He was so grateful that Dante did not leave him behind. He would have panicked had he been left alone. He stood back though once they had made it to Gabriel's room. He blushed a little as they kissed and shuffled oddly at the doorway.

Dante blinked, watching Gabriel. The man was out of it. Really out of it. What was he doing? He didn't pull away, he accepted it, though not too happy with how things turned out. He'd been pulled into a kiss. HE was still unshrunken, and Gabriel kissed him! He backed away, blush covering his face as he looked away. "Idiot..." He muttered weakly before pulling himself off the bed and sighing. "Hurry up and get dressed, then. We're playing out it the snow."

Gabriel

Gabriel grinned and sat up, straining a bit and grabbing his white shirt and buttoning it up. After sliding his shoes on he grabbed his leather trench coat and tossled his hair a bit, With a enticing crooked smile he looked at Dante and Oni. "Ready when you are."

"Hah..." Dante's face only went redder at the sight of the man's bare chest. scarred, muscular... very, very tempting. But not now. Possibly not ever if Oni never got over his fear, or if Lukas never popped up again. "Let's go, then." He lead them off, hanging an arm over Oni's shoulders and leading him long towards the stairs. He smiled down at the boy apologetically with a "Sorry about that," before sighing and heading down the spiral stairs first.

Gabriel

Gabriel followed the two, his footsteps making soft thuds and slightly echoing. He was thinking of when he was first with Dante...the passion..the almost rape...the jealousy of the dhampire...and then..the love.. He sighed to himself...he knew that couldn't happen again...not for a while, that is...until he helped Dante get rid of that blasted curse..

Oni snuggled into Dante as they walked and said, "I'm just glad everybody is okay." He had been scared that the men had come back and attacked. Luckily they had not and Gabriel seemed to be okay. He said to Gabriel softly, "We're making a snowman."

Gabriel

Gabriel smiled down at the boy. "With a carrot nose and a long scarf?" Letting out a hearty laugh he ruffled the boys hair affectionatley.

Dante nodded and smiled to Oni. "Mmh. I'm glad too." He looked back to Gabriel after Oni's last comment and winked to him. "You can put the head on it." He knew he looked weaker. It was hard to hide it. His heart had picked up a slightly quicker pace and his whole body was feeling uncomfortably warm. But.... he had a half hour. Oni wasn't comfortable without him, so he at least wanted Gabriel to be able to take over while he ran off.
