Lukas was one for languages but even for him oni was speaking too fast. He caught a few words here and there and figured trying italian wouldn't hurt. "Oni slow down... you're speaking Italian. I'm not great at it" he let out a soft sigh holding the boy to himself.

Oni nearly cried out for joy when Lukas spoke words he understood. He focused and said to him, "Bad men came and took Dante and I. They hurt us." He began to relax as he let himself melt against Lukas. He was safe again and he had Lukas home with him now. He clung to his lover and never wanted to let him go.

Lukas ran his fingers through Oni's hair wrapping an arm around him. "I'm sorry... Are you ok now?" he asked trying to remember the right way to say the words he really sucked at other languages but he'd try. It'd also been a while since he was last in italy.

Oni laid his head on Lukas' shoulder and said, "Scared. . . all the time. Try to be brave but scared." He didn't want to tell Lukas that being alone made him panic or that the episodes of 'learning' were painful and scary. He wanted to speak English again so badly. He remembered how Dante had said that he should take control of it and not let it control him.

Oni lifted his head and looked at Lukas saying, "I could try to make it change." He was terrified of trying but he wanted to communicate with Lukas. He asked, "Do you want me to try?"

Lukas nuzzled into Oni's neck "I only want you to be happy. So do whatever it is that you want." He said kissing his cheek and running his hand over Oni's back in a calming gesture, he could tense a bit of apprihencion as oni suggested it.

Oni gave him a weak smile and said, "I will try." He closed his eyes and held on to Lukas. He thought of something and said to him, "Say something a few things in English while I concentrate. It might help." He tightly his grip on Lukas fearful but wanting to be able to speak to him again freely.

"Uhm, alright... After this we should go to the cafe and get a big platter of sweets. I think you'd enjoy that. Hopefully at some point you'll understand this." Lukas started rambling holding onto Oni keeping him close to him and nuzzling a bit.

As Lukas spoke Oni focused and kept thinking to himself, 'this is my language.' As he focused it was almost as if he slipped into unconsciousness. His back went straight and his eyes began to flutter rapidly back and forth as he mumbled incoherently. After about a minute of this his eyes, somewhat dull, stopped fluttering and sort of looked at Lukas without looking at him. In a dead voice he said, "Language change complete." With that Oni slumped forward.

Lukas blinked, for a moment it looked like he was having a seizure but he held the boy and caught him as he slumped forward. He laid him back on the bed putting his hand on Oni's forehead and shook his head. "If I'd known it would be like that I'd have protested more." He mumbled now wanting to kick his own ass.

Oni blinked his eyes a little confused and scared. In a shaky voice he said, "What language am I speaking in now?" His head hurt so badly and he wanted to vomit a little. He leaned against Lukas hoping that he had been able to fix it. It was scary though because he did not remember what happened. The last thing he knew was that he was listening to Lukas and now he was slumped against him.

"You're talkin in English again. You're not lookin too hot maybe you should take a nap." He suggested letting Oni lean on him. He moved his arms around him again and kissed his cheek.

Oni snuggled against Lukas and said with passionately, "No, no sleeping not when your home. I miss you too much." He couldn't help the tears. He had missed Lukas to the point of hurting. Having him here now and being in his arms was doing more for him than anything else. Lukas made all the hurt seem less. He whispered desperately, "Please don't leave me Lukas. I-I I need you."

"I'll be here Oni. I promise." He said as he kissed him on the forehead. He traced a finger over Oni's jawline."I'll be here and I'll watch over you ok?" he shook his head. "But pushing yourself isn't going to help you any, take a nap, i'll be here when you wake up."

Oni nuzzled Lukas for comfort and said, "No I won't sleep I'm going to stay with Lukas. I don't want to be away from you right now. Sleep will make me be away from you. I miss you too much." He just couldn't enter the dream world now that Lukas had returned. Even if Lukas slept he would remain awake and stay by his side.

( Honestly, nothing. It's just a bunch of Oni, Dante, and Gabriel frolicking in the snow. That's it. D= )
