Dante closed his eyes, relaxing in Oni's grip. He didn't want to leave this. He never wanted to leave this. What was he thinking? He pulled his cellphone from his pocket and brought it up, flipping it open before texting his boss. 'I quit.' Simple, easy. He didn't care if Oni saw the message; he really didn't care. He grabbed the phone from both sides and grit his teeth, putting all his stress into snapping to tiny device right in half. With that he pulled out the battery and tossed the pieces aside. He didn't want to see them anymore. He just wanted to be selfish for once; selfish and happy. He looked to he movie, seeing the provincial blond,his eyes hurt for a moment until he lowered his head. God... he should told him the Little Mermaid of something. He hated his mom... |

Oni watched as Dante pulled out his phone and send some sort of message. He had not seen it but Dante looked very determined. Once he was done he snapped the thing in half. Oni was always surprised at how strong Dante was even when he was small. He looked to the TV then looked down. Oni was so lost and really didn't know what was going on or what he should do. He decided to say something to change things, "Um Dante if you want I can change it to something else. The mice are funny but I don't like her sisters or mum . . they are all mean. Oh I saw that one with the llama and that one was funny. Did you see that one?" Oni felt like he was rambling but he wanted to do his best to make Dante feel better. |
"You can watch anything you want, Oni. I don't mind at all. I've never seen any of them myself." He'd only heard things about them. He sat up slowly, rubbing his face and ridding himself of the tears. "Most Disney movies have a villain, but... evil never wins, Oni." He said softly before smiling up at the kid. "They always get what's coming to them. It's called karma." |
Oni listened to Dante and got a smile replying with triumph, "Yeah because good guys like you come and kick their butts!" He cuddled against Dante glad that his friend had smiled. He liked it best when Dante smiled and was happy and telling him to do stuff and eat stuff he didn't like.
He said, "This one is okay but not as funny. The fat mouse is stupid but he's a little like me. I do silly things and I like eating a lot." |
"It's a classic, but..." He sighed and looked the the shelf. "Aladdin would be exciting. You can put that in if you want." He reached up, holding a hand over his mouth as he yawned. "I-... I heard it was really good. It's one of their later works." He rubbed his red, swollen eyes before laying his head on his legs again. All he wanted now was sleep. |
"Oh okay I think I'm gonna try that one," he said and got up. He stopped the current film and took it out putting it away. It took some searching but he found Aladdin and put it in. "I like the cover on this one better. It looks fun," he said as he returned to the sofa. He snuggled against Dante once more and watched the screen.

Dante sighed and leaned against Oni gain, closing his eyes and relaxing himself. He just wanted to relax. His arms hugged across his chest weakly as he fell deeper into the unsettling darkness. The TV screen was still bright, after all. It'd take a bit, but he was well more than ready to fall asleep. |
Although the movie was very exciting about half way through Oni's eyes began to droop. He was warm and happy next to Dante and he was getting sleepy. He tried to stay awake as the the cartoon people moved around but he was losing the battle. By the end of the film Oni was fast asleep with Dante snug in his arms.
