Derrick smiled as Michi went after Arina and let her drag him. He saw her struggling and grabbed her, lifting her up onto the stool. "Up you go.." He looked up at Arina, hoping she wouldn't mind his help. "I understand if you don't trust me." he said quietly, fiddling with his ear piercings again, spinning the ring on his middle finger a few times. It was a ring he'd gotten from his father, who'd gotten it from his father, and so on. It had been passed through centuries, and there were traces of it so. Each man had taken care of it well, but there were small scratches and it had begun to fade, showing a small bloodstain or two. He examined his hand before looking back up at Arina.

Arina shook her head. "I've not got a way to tell what you are, aside from you can change your shape." She said gently. "Yes michi chocolate milk it is." She smiled reaching for a small glass nd putting chocolate milk in it as well as a straw and setting it in front of the girl. "And you? What could I get you to drink?" She asked then remembered his earlier question and laughed a little. "No, nothing quite so mystical as that. The most change is I can sprout wings." She smiled. "Most dragons can take a human form, but, most half breeds, well, only a few of them resemble dragons." She shrugged. "Aside from pale skin and blue lips, most people wouldn't know I'm not human." She shrugged.

Michaela

Michi giggled as she felt her bum plop on the seat. "Tankoo Derry." She smiled at him and grabbed the straw of the chocolate milk infront of her and took a sipped, blowing to make a few bubbles. Letting out a few giggles the girl turned to the door hearing the knock. "Who's there!?" She yelled making a knock knock joke reference.

Arina giggled and then realized someone was knocking on the door and moved towards it. She opened it to see the young girl there. "Silly, you should have just came in, it's not a private place.... She blushed and moved out of the way. "Please, come in out of the cold."

Ti swore as Dlacha nearly knocked him over as they got down the last few steps and she raced towards the new man standing by the bar. She sniffed his legs and wagged her tail excitedly as Ti caught his balance and walked over, running a hand through his long hair and giving a sigh. "Damned mutt. You'll be the death of me one of these days." He muttered as he eyed the boy, his eyes flickering gold as he read the shifter's aura.

Lilian

Lilian blushed, even though her cheeks were still red from the cold. "Thanks, im sorry, but i didnt want to be rude." Embracing the warmth of the Inn she let out a sigh and started to take off her coat scarf and hat. Running her hands through her hair she smiled at the woman who had let her in. With an outstretched hand she introduced herself. "Im Lilian, you can call me Lili."


Michaela

Michi took Derricks hand and toddled after Arina, pulling theman with her. "Mommy can i have chocolate milk?" The small child climbed onto one of the stools having a bit of trouble, her legs kicking as she tried to get up.

Arina giggled as she heard Ti's comment. "Yeah but I'm sure you'd die without her at this point." She joked happily. "Glad to see you're awake. Michi wants to make a snowman, and have a snowball fight, and I think it'd be good for us all to do together." She then turned back to the young woman as she shut the door. "I'm Arina, it's a pleasure to meat you Lili."

Lilian smiled and looked at the dog. "How cute! Whats her name?" She asked, looking up at the man who had come in with the dog.

Michaela

Michi smiled and held her hands out to Ti, wanting to be picked up. "UpUp!" She said with a big grin and letting out a giggle.

Derrick smiled. "Really, wings? That's... Interesting. And, anything would be fine, thank you." He looked down as he felt something at his feet, stepping on him and sniffing his leg. He reached down and petted the dog. He turned around, hearing another's voice - two others, actually - and held out his hand. "Derrick Anthony Le 'Blanc. Please to meet you two." He smiled.

Lilian looked up at the...animal man who called himself Derrick. "Lilian, Lilian Morris." Walking over the woman took his hand. "Pleasure to meet you." Kneeling down she ruffled the dogs fur as it licked her cheek.

Derrick shook the girl's hand, then moved his hand over to the other person, the man behind him. "You are a Dhampir, right? Or am I wrong?" His smile wavered a bit, but then was back up in a few seconds.

Arina moved back over to the bar and grabbed a cup and poured some hot but sweet tea into it and put it on the bar in front of Derrick. "Here you go liebling." She said with a smile. "Will keep you warm." She smiled as she watched Michi go over to Ti. This was a good time. She felt more at peace with her life than she had in a while.

Ti chuckled a bit and glanced over to Arina. "I don't even remember passing out so I'm glad I'm awake too." He said as he patted Michi on the head and shook his, letting her know it wasn't a good time for that. He then looked to the woman that seemed to have just come in from the cold. "Her name is Dlacha, other wise known as Baka or Mutt." He joked dryly, Dalcha giving him a look before scooting closer to the woman to be pet. Ti gave the woman another look over before the man in front of him turned and introduced himself. Ti neglected the out-held hand and gave a slight bow, "Ti Mizume. I'm impressed, Derrick, few can tell the difference between Dhampir and Vampire, and I'm sure even fewer can tell by smell alone." He looked the shifter in the eyes, his own slipping to and from gold as he gauged the man's power and age.

Lilian let out a laugh as she heard the other names for the dog. "Poor Dalcha. Being called such mean things." She teased, looking up she smiled. "A dhampire, hmm? Its a pleasure to meet you Ti." Standing up she breathed in the smeel of tea and let out a sigh. "Would you mind if i poured myself a cup, Arina?"

Michaela

Michi pouted as her requested to be picked up was denied and tugged on Derricks shirt. "Derry pick Michi up?" She said with a smiled. She could see in his memories he was a very kind person, and immediately trusted him. Michi was trying to build a better relationship with Ti now that Arina was her new mother. "Pretty Pwease?"

Derrick smiled and pulled his hand back. "It's a trick of mine. When I meet an other once, I can remember the smell, even though everyone has their own unique. They all have a generally similar tinge... So after Arina, I'm pretty sure I'll catch on to anyone else like her." He laughed and took the tea, saying a quiet 'thank you' to Arina. "Baka.. Doesn't that mean 'idiot' or something along those lines, in Japanese?" He cocked his head. "Never was a wizard with languages. No tricks there, sorry." His left arm was in goosebumps as he shook, and then went away. "Sorry about that. Someone's watching me, or it's my paranoia again." He sipped the tea. He felt his teeth begin to sharpen and he pushed his shifting back. Not time for that. No need. He thought to himself. He flicked at his ear to make sure it was still a human ear and not on the top of his head like a cat's.

Arina nodded. "Go ahead hun." She said answering the girls question. She giggled then. "Michi, such a fan of those men." She giggled again, then heard Derrick about the dragons. "Well my brother Lukas lives here, so, there's one already." She smiled and then heard the timer go off. "Well, I suppose dinner is ready."

Lilian smiled and went behind the bar to pour herself some tea, adding alot of sugar, she loved things sweet. Sipping it she smiled and watched the two men and the small girl wanting attention. Silently she listened to them talk as she drank.

Michaela

Michi sighed, seeing as Derrick was busy with Ti. Trying to hop of the stool she tripped and fell, knocking the stool over and falling to the ground. Letting out a light yelp she pouted rubbing her arm which was lightly cut. Biting her lip to fight tears the girl got up and put the stool up right.

Lonan rushed down the stairs, jumping the last few when he heard the timer go off. ~Is there food? What's this going to taste like? Is it going to be like the other thing you gave me? What's the funny smell in it? It's not just meat. And who're the new people?~ he said, skidding to a stop just outside the kitchen. ~And what's pasta taste like?~

Ti gave a nod and stepped back from Derrick as his aura showed signs of power shifts. Ti had been around enough shape-shifters to know that they deserve respect and space. He glanced to the woman then to Michi as the girl hopped up and fell. He rushed to her, but couldn't catch her before she hit the ground. His face softened as he saw the tears in her eyes, "Are you alright?" He asked as he helped her set the chair upright. The smell of blood was on the air so he knew she was hurt, but it wasn't much. He glanced at the blur of Lonan as he rushed towards the kitchen and then to Dlacha as the big dog came over and licked Michi.

Arina rushed around the bar seeing the cut on Michi's arm. "Be careful hunny." She said watching Ti as he helped her pick it up. She knelt down and kissed Michi's arm healing the cut. "Well this boo-boo is gone, and there appears to be no more.. just be more careful..." She knew the timer turned the oven off so she wouldn't have to worry about the food burning before she got to it. She kissed Michi's forehead.

((Wow, lonan hasn't met Michi, I think...))

Lonan tilted his head to the side, walking over and sniffing the girl. ~She was hurt, but now she's not... How did you do that?~ Lonan looked up at Arina, then back at the kitchen. ~And what did you make?~

Michaela

Michi nodded and gave a big smiled. "Im ok, Daddy." The word came out of her mouth because she knew the connection between Arina and Ti, so she didnt really notice it escape her mouth. Letting out a gigle she pet Dalcha. "Ewwo puppy." Michi looked up at Arina and smiled innocently. "Sorry RiRi." As her mommy kissed her cut she let out a gasp as it dissapeared. "Mommy is Magic!" Giggling she wrapped her arms around Ti and held onto him. Turning to the other puppy she let out a giggle. "New Doggy?"

Arina smiled and patted Lonan on the head. "Just a little magic trick." She said and winked. She then stood up and stretched. "I made peppersteak." She said with a smile. "It's a large hunk of beef, with bacon wrapped around it. I think you'll like it." She said moving back towards the kitchen and pulled on oven mits. She pulled out the large tenderloin and set it on the stove to cool just a little bit.

Lonan tilted his head to the side. ~It sounds and smells good. Why did the girl call me a dog? I can sense she has something... What's her name? And the other people! There are new people!~ Lonan turned to face Michi, sniffing her nose. He wagged his tail a bit, then turned to look at Lillian. He snuck up to her and sniffed her leg, then sneezed.

Arina giggled. "Such curiosity, it's refreshing. Well, she called you a dog because you are a canine. So you look like one to her." She answered. "And her name is Michaela, or, Michi. She can see memories, but she is just human." She nodded her head to Derrik "I believe, he said his name is Derrik, and the lady, is Lilli." She added answering more questions and cut a piece of the steak and put it on the plate for Lonan, and set it down for him. "There you go, you get the first bite."
