[[she pulled out the corn bread not the oven silly.]]
Arina set the hot pan of bread on the cooling rack and nodded "yeah I know he'll come back, it still hurts." She said with a small shrug. "I'm just wondering what kind of condition he'll come crawling home in this time." She added. "A knack for getting beat up he does." She opened the lid, the scent of meat and vegetable filling the room quickly, she stirred it a bit checking everything. "And the stew should be done here in a couple minutes." |
Oni closed his eyes loving the simple feeling of feeling Lukas run his hand through his hair and small kiss. Oni's warm happy feelings came back making him forget his jealousy. He looked lovingly up at Lukas and said, "Well if you feel like stretching I don't mind. We could always go flying again. But I want to come with if you do. I want to be with you too." He gave Lukas a little kiss.
((okay then we can leave them together for a bit and see how it works maybe)) |
((meww I have a headache lol you’re lucky I’m this coherent….))
She nodded, tilting her head to the side as she watched the other. “Sounds like someone I know…” She said simply with a light chuckle. She then leaned forward, taking in a deep breath as she opened the lid. “Good… I’m hungry…” She said with a chuckle, stretching her arms upwards a moment in thought. She had too much energy… it was just one of those days… She then glanced at the two lovebirds, tilting her head to the side in thought. There was something about them... |
Arina giggled, "You, are a very energized person. It's nice, haven't had anyone so hyper in a while." She said going to another cupboard and started pulling out dishes and setting them on the table before going to a drawer and pulling out silverware. She set that next to the plates and grabbed a basket and placed a cloth in it and started cutting the bread and put it in the basket covering it to keep it warm and grabbed a large tile to set the hot pot on so it wouldn't ruin the table.
|
[[works for me, i'd feel so bad hurting oni's feelings xD]]
Lukas smiled and kissed Oni back. "Alright, I wouldn't go without you silly. Wanna go real quick before dinner, will help me work up an appetite." He offered stretching a bit in the kitchen. [[sorry for short response Dx]] |
Hearing Arina she glanced back, grinning a little. “Oh you have no idea…” She murmured as she stretched, though in all honesty she didn’t like the nearly constant restlessness she felt. She got closer then as she watched Arina set the table, slowly sitting so she could get ready, playfully shifting back to the male she was earlier to burn of some energy. Smiling the now he nodded, twitching one rabbit ear.
|
"Well, that's always nice." She said as she moved over to the pot again and stirred the contents. "You seem to be ready now don't you." She said and blushed noticing she had just thought out loud, and in tern talked to a pot of stew. She shook her head and picked up the pot carrying it and a ladle to the table. She scooped out a bowl ad handed it to T, "Here, you'd prolly be more comfortable eating in the main room, there's a comfortable fire in there." she said flicking her wrist making the fireplace in the next room roar to life.
[[arina is busy so i has posted for her]] |
((okay. No worries ^-^ ))
Oni smiled, "Okay really quick though cause I think dinner is almost ready." He grabbed Lukas' hand and opened the door outside leading Lukas'. Once outside Oni said with a smile, "Don't forget to take your shirt off so you don't ruin it okay." ((lol just don't leave Oni in the air k XP. If you want you can post the whole flight in the next post to make it quick if you want. MAWHAHAHA I counter attack with super short post of meh own!)) |
Lukas chuckled and nodded. "Yeah I know." He said letting Oni lead him out, once they were out he threw the sweater back by the door and stretched again. Soon enough the wings stretched out, a lot less gory than usual. He'd managed to get a hold of it last time. "Are you ready?" He asked moving behind Oni and wrapping his arms around him before taking off, he moved through trees and then around a mountain before landing back at the Inn. "I liked that, we'll have to do it more often."
|
[[oh mah gawd, no ones posted all day, whats wrong with you people?]]
|
(( I went and saw the new Alice in Wonderland movie))
Oni couldn't help but watch as Lukas removed his sweater. Lukas was really handsome. Oni got a bit of chills when Lukas wrapped his arms around him. He loved it when Lukas was near and even more so when they touched. The touch did not have to be intimate for Oni to feel special. He simply enjoyed being with Lukas. Flying with him was amazing. Oni truly loved being in the air and being able to see the world from above. The flight was short but lovely. When the landed Oni hugged Lukas tightly and replied, "Yes much more often." He nuzzled Lukas lightly on the neck then lean up a bit to kiss him. |
[[ahh, i had work, and tomorrow, on my day off, i'll be so busy it's not even funny.]]

( Hello there! xD;; ) Verin grumbled to herself, brushing a hand through her hair, which she'd dyed a chocolatey-brown color. Finally, she settled it until she had it where she wanted it - covering the left side of her face, hiding her more-pointy ear and slightly greenish-colored skin. Her wings stayed folded against her back, every now and then rustling when she held back her emotions, which wasn't all that hard to do. She pulled a shirt on over her wings, folding them so they fell through the slits in the back she'd ripped in all of her shirts. Folding them again to half their size, she pulled a purple hoodie on, making sure the two-inch long spikes didn't poke through the cotton. She pulled on a pair of jeans, and spotted shoes out - not that she would need them, anyways. She searched the small room until she found more clothes close to her size and packed them into a small backpack. Her roommate wouldn't notice if Verin or her clothes were gone, she never did. Verin stepped out into the daylight and squinted, and threw the backpack over one shoulder, jogging in the direction of the Inn. |
( Uh.. Nobody else posted yet? O w O ) |
[[it seems to be a slow spurt, i've been busy >.< and idk about everyone else.]]

Arina yawned, shaking sleep off her like a veil of dust. She sat up in her bed looking around her room. How cold and empty it had felt lately, but what was she to do about something like that? She sighed softly moving into the shower. After washing and drying she went to her huge walk-in closet. It had warmed up considerably in the past few days so she picked a simple blue summer dress that matched the color of her lips, ballet like shoes with ribbons that twisted around til they tied at her knees in the same blue, and a blue chocker, and the final touch of a blue ribbon pulling her hair into a high pony tail. She put on a silver shade of eye shadow and walked out of the room. The rest of the building seemed just as quiet and empty to her. She wondered why the people were never around when she was here, or awake... Shrugging it off she grabbed a broom and the rake and went out to tend to the garden, it had already started to green up and would soon have little buds.
[[and with that, i'm off to work]] |
Verin grumbled as she was sandwiched on the bus. Both of her wings rustled in annoyance. Humans really didn't care about personal space, or anything for that matter. She pitied them, but not for long. She stretched out like a human would, hitting the man next to her. She smiled apologetically, but it was fake and the man knew it. He mumbled to himself and moved over, out of arm's length. Much better. She sighed, hoping to get off this damned bus soon. She didn't know why she'd made herself take the bus anyways - she could have walked the distance easily and have been there before nightfall. It's because I'm not a human, she thought, sighing once more. Humans don't walk with as long strides as I could. It's unnatural, her mind whispered. "Well hell, the world is unnatural!" She all but shouted, earning glances from other passengers. "That it is," the man from earlier mumbled. She shooed him off and sent the other humans quick glances. "Is there a freak show or something? It's unpolite to stare," she said with another fake smile. "Honey, we're looking right at it," the man mumbled again, clearly unaware that her senses were enhanced and she could hear well across the bus. The heartbeat of the driver and the other twenty-six passengers, their slow, quiet breaths, mumbles and music floating around the air. She could smell them, too - and they smelled horrible, as if they hadn't bathed for weeks, which she could tell a few hadn't. "I'm getting off here," she said, making her way through the passengers to tap the bus driver on the shoulder. "But why, there's no stop there. I'm in the middle of the road. The next stop is about ten minutes away - go take a seat." Verin shifted, pressing her fingers into the driver's pressure points. "I insist. Let me off," she said, letting her darker side creep into her voice. The bus driver gasped, and his hand automatically released the door. She took no time in hopping off, not saying another word as she strode down the street. |
Arina didn't know where to start. So many weeds sprouted up to pull, and so many bushes to trim up. Today was just not her day. Though it was plesant out, and for that she had to thank mother nature. She put on a pair of gardening gloves and tied her dress up so that it wouldn't get filthy as she crawled around in the dirt. She started weeding out the garden moving a bit too quickly for any normal human being. She wasn't going super fast like she could have because she knew that humans passed by all the time but she was still moving at a faster pace.

((I have returned(again)! And I'm awake at 10:30 am, what the hell is wrong with me? Anyways, I'm sure I missed a bunch, someone want to fill me in a bit?))
|
((Fill me in, too? I've been gone for about as long, Life was cruel and I didn't really have the time...))
|
[[nothings really gone on, and ha, it's 10:30 pm now. i love how ironic that one is. Uhm, star got a new character, the profiles on the front, nother new person, and arina is gardening. thats about it.]]
|
((Hm, I'm just going to pretend Ti has been there then. XD I'm lazy))
|
((boo, ya I'm still around. I guess I'll just pretend Lukas went off again XP. Whatever time of day/ night it is doesn't matter, I'll just put Oni somewhere.))
Oni had been curled up on one of the various sofas in the main area. He picked one that was tucked away and curled up with a blanket. He had found a game boy in the basement and currently was having fun trying to play the game. It had taken him some time to figure how to work things but once he had it figured out the game was fun. He had his Xanic doll laying next to him. So far his little corner had been pretty quiet. |
[[i might not be here a few days, been sick.]]

[ Aww, that sucks! I hope you get better! ] Verin saw the Inn a mile or so away with her enhanced sight and blew out a breath that she'd realized she'd been holding. You're not afraid, she told herself, you can't be. They're all just like you, twisted in some odd way. She growled at herself, pushing all thoughts aside and lengthening her strides. She could get there in three minutes - the faster, the better. She stepped on a ladybug and heard the crunch under her rip-off brand slip-ons, quickly taking the shoes off and stuffing them into her bag. The feeling of killing even the smallest living things pleased her in some odd way, made her feel more herself than the human feelings she'd had to learn to accept to fit in to her apartment and not get noticed. She let a smile creep it's way across her face before she shuddered, her "good" side nagging her. All life is still life, it whispered, You're just the same as they are. A growl-like sound escaped her throat and caught her off guard. She still had trouble keeping her "good" and "bad" sides in check. The demon blood running through her veins wanted her to live like her father - basically scaring the shit out of everyone - while her mother's angel blood wanted her to be a goody-two-shoes and become a guardian angel. They'd never accept you. I doubt they'd let you become a guardian angel while you're still half demon. What if you kill the kid? Then what? 'It's okay, you're half demon' will they say? She mentally slapped herself in the face and pushed herself into a sprint, wanting to reach the Inn as fast as possible. She turned up the path and went up to the front door, knocking hesitantly. When there was no answer, she grabbed too quickly, slightly reforming it to her grasp. She jerked her hand back and grabbed it again, softly this time, and opened the door, stepping inside. "I go by Verin." |
